Adoption Party...

We were up at 8am this morning. Jo was bringing Rylee over a little after 9am for us to watch. Today was her adoption party. We were in charge of making she sure had a normal day of eating and a nap before the party. We went swimming for about an hour and a half. I took a shower first while Beth and Rylee sat outside for a little while. Then Beth took a shower and I feed Rylee. She was just about to fall sleep when Kim and Lynne came over to get the Jeep. That was all it took and she was awake. We laid on the bed for awhile, but she wanted no part of that. So Beth made a 2oz bottle and it did not take long for her to fall asleep. She took about a 2 hour nap. We got dressed and headed to the party. It was another hot and sticky day. I hate it when the humidity is the same as the temperature. We had a nice time and there were about 100 or so people there. We started to clean up around 7:30pm. There was so much to take back home, that we ended up taking Rylee home in our car. We left around 8:15pm and took Rylee home to her house. We gave her a quick sponge bath and put her jammies on. I made her a bottle and we went up stairs for bed. She did not fight it much and was fast asleep. Dawn and Jo came home about a hour later, after everyone had left. It is time for us to take much needed showers and head to bed.
