Day 1 - Key west

Beth was up first this morning and took a shower. I got up and had my shower and we headed up to get some breakfast. The captain announced that we were docking early for 2 medical cases. We saw one yesterday where a woman fell down some stairs and did something to her knee or ankle, we are not sure of the second one. So we got off the ship and walked around before our excursion started. We will be stopping back next Monday and wanted to see what there was to do then. We took the Ghost and Gravestone tour. It was pretty interested to know the Key West is the most haunted place in the USA. We were told that most people paint the porch roof a blue color as spirits can not cross it thinking it is the ocean. Spirits cannot gross water of any kind so they never leave Key West. We then went to several houses when spirits have been seen and then to visit a haunted doll that have been on several TV should about paranormal activity. We were all given EMF meter to detect activity. My did nothing, but just as we were leaving, Beth’s meter shot up several times to show some activity. It was so cool. We did a little shopping and then came back to the boat around 3pm and had a burger. It was very sunny and 78 degrees. We leave Key West tonight around 5pm and then spent the day at sea tomorrow. There was a Key Lime pie sail away tonight, where they served traditional Key Lime pie. After dinner, we went to watch the sun set and saw several dolphins cross underneath the ship. It was so cool. We are going to see a comedian tonight and I will be going to the movies afterward, while Beth goes to the casino.
