Flash Flooding...

We needed some rain but not 6inches worth over night. Rylee and I were up around 8:45am this morning. Beth got up around 9am. We had breakfast and I began cleaning. I wanted to get most of it done today and the rest on Saturday. It was still raining hard most of the day and the wind was blowing. Dawn was going to take her test but it got canceled because of the rain. She went to her house to do some cleaning herself and then came over around noon. We had lunch and Rylee went down for a nap around 1:30pm. I was able to get all the laundry done so we could start packing tonight. Beth had to go to CVS and to the post office around 4:30pm. I fixed burgers for dinner as Beth and I had appointments with Dr. Bill at 6pm. We stopped by the grocery store on the way home to get Rylee some prunes. She had not had a regular poop the last couple of days and needed some help. Good thing she loves prunes. Dawn put Rylee down for the evening and then headed home. She is going to try and take her test in the morning. The last four weeks have been great and we will miss her not being here. We will pack her stuff up in the morning and then head over to her house. We are going to put up the baby gate they have. We are suppose to get 2 to 3 more inches of rain tonight. The river is really high and flooding is everywhere.

Grass Cutting Day...

I took first shower around 8am and Rylee was up around 8:20am. Beth was up shortly after that. We had breakfast and then went to Best Buy and the mall. Dawn came by around 12:30pm and we had lunch. Beth started cutting grass and was done cutting the front by the time Rylee went down for a nap. They were really working on the house across the street and got most of the roof on it. It is a lot bigger than I thought. Rylee only slept an hour and 10 minutes. I think it was due to all the noise on the house across the street. Beth was able to get the grass cut before dinner. I made spaghetti for dinner. Dawn put Rylee down for the night time around 7:30pm. She was really tired and it did not take long. We are hoping to sleep late tomorrow and I want to start cleaning house before we leave for Disney.

Drowned Rats...

Beth was up first this morning and took a shower. I then got up around 8am and had mine. Rylee was up around 8:20pm. Beth left for her doctor's appointment and Rylee and I had breakfast. We then went to the used book store for more book. She just loves to be read to and enjoys the pictures. As we were coming out of the store the sky opened up and we got poured on. I made it to the car and tossed her into the car seat and put the stroller in the back. I then hopped in the back with her and buckled her in. We both looked like drowned rats. I waited for a few minutes for the rain to let up. I wipe off Rylee's face, but she did not seemed to mind. She loved the water. We then headed home and it had stopped raining by then. The guys building the house across the street were still working in the rain. We came inside and wiped off some more. Dawn went home for a nap and Beth was heading to her dad's house. Rylee and I had lunch and she then took a nap. I put a pork roast in the over for dinner and tried to take a nap. Rylee was up around 3:15pm and Beth came home around 4pm. Dawn was here by 4:30pm. We had pork roast, mashed potatoes, and corn for dinner. Dawn gave Rylee a bath before she left around 7:30pm. Rylee does a lot better with 12 hours sleep, so she will be staying the night with us for the rest of the week. Rylee loves getting her face wet and putting her tongue into the water.

Phillies win Division...

Beth and I were up at 8am this morning. We both had showers and were dressed before Rylee got up. She woke up around 8:45am. Dawn was here around 9am and Beth and I left around 9:30am. We had to meet with our broker and go over our portfolio. We made a few changes and would revisit it again in 6 months. We came home around 11:30 and I fixed lunch. We had an appointment at 12:30pm to look at a house near us for Dawn and Jo. It was a real surprise to find the house was a gut job and even the furnace was missing. It would be a great investment but will take a lot of money to get it up and livable. We came home and Dawn went back to work. Rylee went down for a nap and slept 2 hours. I ran to the grocery store and got gas. Dawn came by around 5pm and I fixed dinner around 6pm. We watched the Phillies win and clinch the NL East division. Congrats to them and good luck in the post season.

Way to go Chiefs...

Beth was up early this morning and went to 8am mass. I slept until 8:45am and it was great. Gale and Angie came over to drop off the money for the Eagles tickets. We ended up just having sandwiches around 10:30am. We listened to the radio for any last minute changes to Beth's fantasy team and headed out the door. We went over to Dawn and Jo's house to watch the games today. We stopped on the way to get pretzel bites and Dawn made nachos for lunch. The Chiefs are now 3-0 for the years. Way to go. The Eagles looked great and are now tops in the division. Jo made chicken soup with our the chicken for dinner and it was great. I even got to bring the leftovers home. They also had chicken strips, but I did not eat any after stuffed with soup. But again got to bring some home. Rylee came home with us tonight. Jo is spending the week in Philly again and we get to sleep late. So it is a win win for all. We may keep her tomorrow night also, so it will help Dawn out in the morning and again we can sleep late. We will also need to get ready for Disney this week, so I need to get my lists going.

Pool side clean up..

We slept until 8:30am this morning. We got up and had breakfast. Dawn called to see if we wanted to have waffles and ice cream at Jo's parents. We said sure. We then went outside and took everything out of the shed. We put up the shelves and then backed the truck down by the pool. We were able to load everything in the back and then backed up to the shed. It only took us about a 2 hours to get everything picked up. We only have the pots and the tiki bar to put away, but we can do that later. Beth came in a took and shower so she could head up to her dad's house. I took a shower and went downstairs to finish Rylee's book. I watched some football and Beth came home around 5pm. We went over to Jo's parents around 5:45pm. Dinner was great and I enjoyed it. They find it funny that I have my ice cream on the side instead of on top of my waffles, but I hate soggy bread. We came home around 8:30pm and had a great time.

One week left...

Dawn dropped Rylee off at 6:30am. She had her morning bottled and played awhile. I took a shower early as I was going to pick up Kyle around 9am. Beth took a shower as she had to leave for the lawyer's appointment around 9:30am. Rylee was so tired, so I began rocking her and she feel asleep. Beth text Kyle to let him know I would be there around 10am instead. Beth left and Rylee woke up. I loaded her into the jeep ans off we went to go get Kyle. We stopped by the grocery store and then came home. Dawn came by for lunch around noon and I fixed burgers. Beth came home around 12:30pm and had already eaten. Rylee and Beth both took 2 hours naps this afternoon and I was able to get the house cleaned up. Dawn left with Rylee around 5pm. I can not believe we have had her for 3 weeks already. We only have her one more week and only one more week til Disney. We are going to sleep until 8am tomorrow and then finish putting all the stuff around the pool. The pool fairies come Tuesday to close the pool up for the winter. I then plan to watch football the rest of the day.

I HATE STINK BUGS

I did not sleep well last night and 6am came too soon. Dawn dropped Rylee off at 6:30am. She had a bottle and was almost back to sleep, but woke herself up. I left to go get Kyle around 9:45am. Rylee was sitting in her swing when we came back and raised a fuss when I came in. I took her into the spare room to see if she would go to sleep. She did her normal screaming with her eyes closed for about 5 minutes and I laid her in the pack n play and she was out in 2 minutes. Beth went to get her hair cut and was back around 11:30pm. Dawn came by around noon and I fixed lunch. After 2 hours of sleeping she was finally up and in a much better mood. I had to take Kyle to the doctor's at 4pm and then took him home. Dawn was just leaving when I got back home. It is officially the start of stink bug season. As you can see from today's photo, they are ugly things and give off a stink when stepped on. They are all over the window and dive bomb you every time you go outside. The crawl into the house in the tiniest openings. They are harmless, but are a real big pest and hard to kill. I went to Lowe's to get some killer, so we will see it we can just control them. We had dinner and Beth had to go over and watch Jojo. Kim had a meeting at school for parents only.

Boring Day

Rylee slept most of the time we had her today. It rained finally. The Phillies swept the Braves and took a 6 game lead in the NL East and have a magic number of 6. Good Night.

Bye Bye Sammy

We were up at 6am this morning and boy was it cold. The temperature outside said 51 degrees. Dawn dropped Rylee off at 6:30pm. She was still tired and a little fussy. Beth left around 8:45am to go give blood and pickup breakfast. Rylee was so tired she laid her head on the couch and closed her eyes. I only had to rock her a few times and she was out. Beth and I had breakfast and Rylee woke up. She had a short cat nap of about 45 minutes. We went on our walk and then Beth left for the airport. Rylee and I had lunch and Dawn came by around 12:30pm. She enrolled Rylee in daycare starting October 11. She is so not going to like having to share attention. I put her down around 1:45pm for a nap. She did not like that but it only took 5 minutes for her to go to sleep. She was down for about an hour before Beth came home. She fussed a little bit and screamed. I picked her up and was able to rock her back to sleep. Sammy left today and we were sad. We enjoyed having him, but he missed his dad. Dawn left with Rylee around 5pm. Beth made dinner tonight and I enjoyed it. Dawn will be driving again tomorrow, so we don't need to be up until 6am. Today's picture is of Rylee playing with Sammy.

Riding Rylee

I got up at 7am and took a shower first. Beth was awake and wanted to go wake up Rylee, but found she was already awake. She is cuddly when she first wakes up. Beth changed her and got her dressed. I fed her breakfast while Beth took a shower and got ready. We left for our appointment to see Dr. Bill and found the highway all backed up. Luckily we were able to go around it and made it on time. Rylee was such a flirt with everyone. We came home and Beth and I had breakfast. I had to leave around 10:45am for my dentist appointment. It seems that I have 2 pockets that are not getting better and I now need to see a specialist. I got home around noon and Rylee was just finishing lunch. We put Rylee down for a nap and had left over pizza. Rylee slept about an hour and a half and was up. Beth then left and went to her dad's house. Rylee and I played on her car as you can see from today's picture. She has figured out how to go backwards now. They set up the foundation walls and poured concert today on the house across the street. Beth came home around 4:15pm and Dawn picked up Rylee around 5pm. We had chicken, stuffing, and green beans for dinner. We are watching MNF, but will only make it to half time if we are lucky. We are both tired and ready for bed.

Football Sunday...

I was up until 1am watching football last night. It was great. Beth was up around 7am, took and shower, and got ready for church. I woke up as she was getting ready. After church, we went to the diner for breakfast and then to the grocery store. We put my new chair together so the box could go out with the trash. It was kinda nice not having to cook for the party today. We just ordered pizza. Everyone was here around 1pm. As you can see from today's picture, Payton learned to play frogger and loved it. Dawn and Jo were the last to leave, as we were keeping Rylee over night. We get to watch the last football game and sleep until 7am. We have to to see Dr. Bill tomorrow at 9am, so we will have to shower and get Rylee breakfast before we leave. I then have a dentist appoint at 11am.

Start of yardwork...

We slept until 8:30am this morning. We got up, had breakfast, and went outside. We wanted to get a jump on the yard work before we leave for Disney. I removed all the tomato plants and filled the hole by the fence with the dirt. Beth picked up all the statuary and piled it to one side of the wall. We then cleaned out the coffin and put all the pool stuff away. We got a lot more done than we thought we would today. We are hoping a couple days next week we can work on the shed and get stuff rearranged in there and then move everything in there for the winter. I then cut all the sucklings from the walking stick plant and Beth picked up all the dead tree stump wood. We called it a day around 1pm and had lunch. We took showers and Beth headed up to see her dad. I worked in the scrapbook room for a while, then went to clean up the downstairs as we are having a football party tomorrow. Of course I watched as much football as I could doing my tasks. Beth came home around 5:30pm and we went to Exton. I wanted to get a new chair for the scrapbook room and we had dinner at Cracker Barrel. I went downstairs to watch more football and Beth watched the Phillies upstairs. It was a great day and we got a lot done.

Settling in...

The baby was all smiles when she got here at 6:30am this morning. I gave her a bottle and took a shower. We then had breakfast and Beth took a shower. She left for her dad's house and Rylee and I started our walk. Dawn arrived at our house 5 minutes later and meet us on our final stretch home. I had to go to Home Depot and get mulch, so Dawn watched Rylee. I had to get a couple of bags for the new tree out front and got 10 bags of the rubber mulch for the bed by the mail box. Rylee was having a bottle before Dawn took her to the doctors for her appointment. Dawn was only gone about 30 minutes. She fed Rylee and I made us sandwiches for lunch. Rylee was in such a good mood all day and even sat and played on the floor for a long time. We think she is finally settling in to the routine. I gave her a bottle around 1:15pm and put her down for a nap at 1:20pm. Dawn took a quick nap and headed back to work. Rylee fussed a bit around 2:45pm, so I picked her up from the pack n play and sat in the chair in the living room and she went back to sleep. Beth came in about 5 minutes later and Rylee fussed but went back to sleep. Then we got a big surprise and Jo came by. Rylee fussed again until she saw Jo and she was all smiles. She missed the mommy J this week. Jo left around 4pm. We talked about what to do for dinner and decided to just have what ever we found in the fridge. We watched the Phillies win and I am now heading to bed. Going to get up early and start putting stuff outside away and get ready for fall. The pool will be closing on the 28th and we want everything done by the time we go to Disney the 3rd of October.

Banged Her Head...

Today was the same as it has been the last 3 days. We were able to plant the tree some good friends of ours sent to remind Beth of her mother. The ground was so hard that we had to let water set in it to help dig the hole. Rylee too had her first hard fall today. She had an awful headache, but seemed fine after her nap. What a scary time it was. We are going to move things downstairs and hope the carpet will help if it every happens again. I had to go get my hair cut and colored tonight. I sure needed it. It rained most of the afternoon, but nothing really amounted to anything. Just that fall spitting type rain.

Not so early morning...

We had to get up at 6am this morning which is a lot better than 5am. Dawn was running later, so Beth went out to scoop up Rylee and Dawn hurried to work. Rylee had a bottle and sat on my lap in a blanket for 20 minutes. It was cool in the house since we had all the windows open and it got down to 50 last night. She will let you know when she wants down to play. I took a shower and we had breakfast. I was able to get Rylee into her swing for some quiet time. But she started fussing, so I picked her up and she went to sleep in my arms. She slept for about 45 minutes. After she woke up, she got dressed and we headed to BJ's for some shopping. Dawn hung out at the house to study for her test tomorrow. We got home around 1pm and fed Rylee since she had not eaten since 8:30am. We tried to get Rylee to take a nap this afternoon since they were going to mom mom's house for dinner, but she was having no part of that. We got her a little pink school bus ride on while shopping and she knows how to pick up her feet when she is pushed. It is so cute. My mom got a new camera today and sent us pictures of her cat pumpkin. As you can see from today's picture, she is quite comfortable.

Sleep over...

Rylee sleep over last all night and we all slept until 7am, except Rylee who got up at 7:45am. We took showers and had some breakfast. Beth's brother and dad got here around 9:00am and they left 5 minutes later. Rylee and I played as Plott's serviced the furnace. Dawn came by around 9:30ish. She was able to drive the school van today and only got lost once. I tried to call DVC to make reservation for Disneyland in February for Beth's birthday, but they were booked. Dawn left around 10:15am to take Rylee to the doctors. She was getting 3 shots today and she was not a happy camper afterwards. Beth was home around 11:30am and brought Sammy with her. Sammy will be staying with us for the next week, while Frank is gone. Sammy is a big old Golden and him and Buster have a few things to work out. But what boys don't. Dawn came back around 12:30pm and Rylee was sleeping. We had some lunch and Dawn had to go back to work. We all went on our walk and found that 3pm is not a good time. There are too many cars outs. They started digging on the house across the street. Rylee liked watching the bulldozer work. Dawn came by around 5ish. We had dinner and Dawn left around 6:30pm. Rylee had a hard day and just needed some Mommy D time. Dawn does not have to be to work until 7am tomorrow, so we get to sleep until 6:15am. Yea us!!!!

Monday, September 13, 2010

Oh my god...

It has been a long time since I have had to get up at 5am and not been on vacation. Dawn got here around 5:20am with Rylee, who was wide awake and ready to play. No going back to sleep for her. So she had a bottle and we played until 6:45am. She laid in her swing and went to sleep for 30 minutes. Not a good sign for the day. We all had breakfast and got dressed. We took our walk and noticed they are getting ready to start building a new house across the street from us. We knew it was only a matter of time. We played some more and Rylee went down for a nap around 11:30am or so I thoughts. She was back up 30 minutes later. So we had lunch and played some more. By now my butt is beginning to drag and I could use a nap. So around 2pm we tried the nap thing again and this time she was only down for 20 minutes. Dawn came by around 4:30pm and Rylee is really not happy and very tired. We had dinner and tried to keep her up as late as possible. We even did the tubbies thing. Finally around 8pm, sleep won and she is down for the night. I am pretty sure, well hoping, she sleeps until at least 7am tomorrow. It will be a busy day, as Plott's is coming at 8am to check and clean the furnace. Beth has to leave at 9am to take Frank to the airport and then take her dad home and pick up Sammy. Beth's dad will be staying with Jeff while Frank is gone and we are watching Sammy.

Loser all the way around...

We slept in this morning as it was cool and rainy outside. Beth went to church at 10:30am instead of 8am. After church, we got things together, stopped at WAWA and got hoagies for the game, then headed to the game. Traffic for a change was not bad and we found a place to park with ease. We headed into the stadium and found a table to eat. We were able to watch some of the early games. I love the first game of the season and love to see the fly bys of the jets. I had picked the Texans to lose and of course they won, so I am out the first week of the losers pool which really sucks. Then the Eagles go and lose their game. But even worse is that we lose 2 great players for the rest of the year and 2 more for a game or 2. So we left in the the 3rd quarter and came home. It had started to rain again, so we left just in time.

Two of my favorites

We both took my sleeping pills last night and had a wonderful nights sleep. I am not sure what time Beth got up, but I was up around 9am. I read a few things on the computer and then took a shower. I started laundry and started to clean house. Beth took a shower and headed to her dad's house. I had to go to the grocery store and to Micheal's. I then had the rest of the day to scrape book and watch football. Two of my favorite things to do. I am working on Rylee's book right now and almost up to date with it. Beth came home around 6pm and I fixed tacos for dinner, then went back downstairs. Beth was going to try and find her desk, but as of yet she had only managed to play Pogo. She deserves to do her favorite thing also. From today's picture is it amusing how much fun you can have with a laundry basket and a belt.

No Time for Pictures...

Boy what were we thinking. We woke up this morning to the phone ringing at 6:20am. It was Beth's brother, Charlie. wanting to know if Beth could take Sue to the doctor's this morning. You hate to say no, so we said we would work something out. We had Payton and Rylee coming today and they both arrived at the same time. Plus Beth had to take Buster to the groomers at 8am. So while she was gone with Buster, I fed Rylee and Payton help as much as he could. Beth was home by 8:15am and brought some donuts. So everyone, even Rylee, had donuts. We got cleaned up and then took our walk at 9:00am. We made the first lap around the block just as the UPS truck was leaving our house. Lucky for us he left the package that had our new credit cards. We started on the second lap and Payton was starting to tire out by now, so he would run a ways up front then sit and rest. He was so cute. We decided that Beth would take Rylee with her, since she was better at car rides and would sleep most of the time. So we loaded up a bag with diapers and a bottle and off they went. I took Payton downstairs to play. DJ had text to let us know she was getting off early , so I fed Payton lunch and then it was off to a nap. Dawn came in just as I put Payton down. So I visited with Dawn, before she had to leave for work. Beth came home around 2:00pm and we fed Rylee lunch. When she finished, Payton was up from his nap and DJ was here. So no nap for Rylee as she was too busy playing. DJ and Payton left around 3:30pm. It was too late for her to take a nap and boy was she getting fussy. Dawn came to get her around 4:30pm. We had to leave to go cash a check for Frank, then meet Frank and Beth's dad for dinner. We finally had a chance to rest around 7:15pm when we returned home. Boy was it a busy day and there was no time to take any pictures of the kids. So no picture today.

Jo forgot...

We were up at what this week is the normal time of 6:45am. By 7:25am, Jo was still not here with Rylee. She finally arrived and said she was talking to Rylee but forgot she needed to be dropped off. She only missed a couple of turns. How funny. We had breakfast and showers and began our walk. Beth and Buster joined us today. It was cool and breezy, but Rylee giggled when the wind was in her face. We made our 2 laps and came home. We got a call from the credit card company saying someone tried to use our credit card this morning. So we had to cancel our card and wait for new ones. What a pain. I think the early mornings, teething, and a new routine got to Rylee today. At 11am, she went down for a nap and Beth had to leave to go to her dad's house. Dawn came by for a short visit, but Rylee slept the whole time she was here. Dawn left around 1:15pm and Rylee got up around 1:30pm. She had some lunch and we then went to the mall. I wanted to try some Black Coresh to see if it helps with the hot flashes. We walked around a little bit and then came home. Beth was already home, so we played until Dawn came to pick Rylee up. We had Chinese take out and it really sucked. We will not order from there again. Tonight is the start of the regular season and we are so excited the season is under way. Today's picture is of Rylee trying to eat Beth's gum bubble.

Chill in

Jo arrived with Rylee around 7:20am this morning and then left for work. We had to see Dr. Bill this morning, so I jumped in the shower first. Beth had brought the car seat in last night to adjust it for Rylee. When I came into the living room, Rylee was sitting in her car seat just watching cartoons on TV as you can see form today's picture. She was so cute. I fed her breakfast while Beth took a shower. We left for Dr. Bill's and Rylee fell asleep on the way. She was wide awake when we went inside and did well waiting. We left there and went to Target. Again she fell asleep, but was wide awake to go shopping. She loves to shop and see all the bright lights and things hanging from the ceiling. We headed to the store and then home. She was asleep when we pulled into the garage. Beth was able to get her out of the car seat and down for a little nap. Beth left to get tires for the jeep and Rylee woke up about 10 minutes after she left. She was starving for lunch and downed everything she had. Beth came home around 12:30 and we had lunch and then played. Rylee got a new Elmo that sings the ABC song and she just dances up a storm. I put her down around 2pm for a nap. She was not sure that is what she wanted, but soon gave in. Beth's dad and brother came over for a few minutes as her dad was getting new hearing aids. Rylee was up around 4pm and Dawn and her left around 5pm. We had dinner and Beth had to go over to Jeff''s house. The Phillies were able to gain first place and are winning again tonight. Beth has to go to her dad's house tomorrow, so Rylee and I are going to the mall for a while. She loves getting out and it helps her fall asleep for the afternoon nap.

Babysitters...

Jo brought Rylee by around 7:15am this morning. We fed her breakfast and then we had breakfast. I took a shower while Beth watched Rylee. Beth took a shower and then had to leave to go pick up Tom and his family and take them to the airport. Rylee and and I took a walk around the neighborhood. OK she was in the stroller and I was walking. We figure it is nice in the mornings and we need the exercise, so why not walk around the block a few times. She was tired when we got done and had a bottle and took a nap. Beth came home around 11:30am. Rylee got up around noon and we had some lunch. We played some more and around 3pm she took another nap until 4:30pm. Dawn came by about 15 minutes before she woke up. They headed home around 5pm and we went to Beth's dad's house. We picked up the grill and headed home to watch the Phillies. I am headed to bed as 6:45am comes early, but we will just get used to it and then will have to get up at 5:15am the next 3 weeks. But it is all worth it as she is a little cutie.

Another Day..

We slept until 8:30am this morning. Beth took a shower and headed to her dad's house. I took a shower and had to go to the grocery store and get Buster some treats. I came home and put the groceries away and then folded clothes. I had some lunch and went downstairs to scrapbook. Beth came home around 4:30 and was starving. I fixed dinner early and then we had to do a frog relocation. Beth has fished out the same frog several times from the pool and it keeps coming back. This time we took it over to the pond and released it there. We told it to never come back. I went downstairs to scrapbook some more and Beth watched the Phillies upstairs. They had a double header today and we are hoping for a split and move to within a 1/2 games of the Braves. We start getting Rylee this week at 7:15am and will get to see Jo every morning. So the alarm is set for 6:45am and off to bed we go.

Cool Day...

I opened all the windows last night as it was going to be cool and why use the air conditioner when it is free air outside. And boy was it cool in the house this morning. Beth got up to take a shower at 7am and had to put on long pants and a long sleeve shirt for church. I got up at 8am and by then the temperature outside was 70, so I knew it was warming up. Beth picked me up after church and we headed for the diner, only to find it closed. Guess we missed the sign saying they would be closed this week-end. So we went to Friendly's. It was nice, but not the same. We then headed to Wal-mart for a few things. Since we were close, we stopped by DJ and Maggie's house. Payton wanted to know if I came over to save him. He is so cute. We visited for a little while and headed to Lowe's. We needed light bulbs for the bathroom and and I got a cool bulb for downstairs in the scrap booking room to see it it would eliminate some of the heat. We then had to go to the bank and back home. I started laundry and Beth mowed the weeds. As I was talking to my mom, Beth's brother Frank called to say they were taking her dad to the hospital with chest pains again. Beth finished the mowing and came inside. She was inside for about 10 minutes when Frank came by. They visited for about a hour or more and then Frank had to leave to go the hospital. The tests could not find anything wrong, but they will do a stress test tomorrow. Beth took a shower and we headed to the hospital. I waited in the car, while Beth went inside. While they were talking about Beth's mom her dad started having pains again. We think it might just be stress and hope that is what is. Tomorrow is Labor Day and we plan on doing nothing.

Rylee Out, Jojo in

Rylee slept until 7:30am this morning and gave a weak grunt to let us know she was up. I went in to get her and she was all smiles. I put her in bed with Beth and we watched some cartoons. Then Sesame Street came on. She loves Elmo and just yells up a storm when he is on TV. I gave her a bottle while she finished watching Elmo. I took a shower and then we had breakfast. I finished getting her stuff ready while Beth took her shower. We left around 10am to take Rylee over to Jo's parents. We sat and visited with them for about an hour then headed home. We got the booster seat and headed to the mall. Kim, Lynne, and Jojo were shopping. We picked up Jojo and headed to Reading to The Works for lunch. The have a small game room in the back that we went to after lunch. Jojo did really well in playing the games and we won lot of tickets. Jojo got a princess crown and a little guitar with her tickets. We then headed to DQ for dessert and then home to play awhile. Beth took Jojo home around 5:30pm. I fixed a late dinner and was able to watch some of the college games. The Phillies won again tonight, but are still 1 game out of first place. Today's picture is of Rylee taking her tubbies last night.

Rylee's French Fry Dance

Rylee woke up about 8:30am this morning and was all smiles and giggles. She had breakfast and was ready to play. Beth and I took showers and then we headed to Exton for shopping. We went to Office Max as I had a coupon for 20% off. We then went to Cheeseburger in Paradise. Rylee had her yogurt and then was ready for fries. As you can see in the video she loved them. We then went to Babies R Us and did a little shopping for Rylee. We got her a lot of clothes for the fall and winter. We then headed home as she was getting tired. She was asleep before we could leave the parking lot and slept all the way home. Beth tried to put her down in the pack n play but she was awake and ready to go. I feed her lunch and you could tell she was really tired. I was hoping to keep her up until at lease 8pm and it was not looking good. We tried to play but when she is tired nothing really works. We had dinner around 6pm and she was fading fast. So we did the old tubbies, but in the sink. She loved it and we made it until 6:45pm. Beth had to leave to go to her dad's house. I got Rylee's bottle ready and she was so tired, but fighting going to sleep. I held her for about 45 minutes and she finally gave in around 8pm. She should be good the rest of the night. We hand her off to mom mom tomorrow morning and then are taking Jojo to Reading for lunch and games before she heads back to school next week.

Rylee Arrives..

Dawn got here around 10:30am with Rylee. She had breakfast and we played most of the day. We tryed a couple of time to put her down for a nap, but she was not having any part of that. Kim and little Jojo go here around 3:30pm. They were watching Rylee until Lorraine got get after work. We stopped at WAWA and got sandwiches, picked up, and headed to the Eagles game. That god for our defense or they would have no points. But playing all the scrubs can do that. We finally left a little before the end of the 3rd quarter and headed home. We listened to the Phillies win a 12 to 11 game and pick up a game on the Braves. We are headed to bed and hoping Rylee will sleep the night away.

Calm before the storm...

We were up at 7:30am and Rylee was here at 8am. Dawn left to go take her tests and we feed Rylee breakfast. I then fixed breakfast burritos for Beth and I. Rylee walked all over the house today. Ralph, the bug guy, came around 9am. After he left, Rylee was fussy and Beth was able to get her to take a nap. Dawn came back around noon. She had passed 3 of the 4 tests, but was still able to get her permit. She has to go back and retake the hydraulic brake test. Rylee woke up around noon and we all had lunch together. I fixed beef and noodles for the adults and Rylee had yogurt. Dawn and Rylee left around 1pm. I finished cleaning up the house and then had to go to Target and the store, the beer cooler needed more ice. We are going to the last Eagles preseason game tomorrow night. We will get Rylee around 10:30am tomorrow and have a sitter for her until we get home. I don't expect we will be out that late.
