The end is near...

We both got up around 8 am this morning  I put a roast in the crock pot and then took a shower. Beth took a shower ans we had breakfast. I called to make sure my truck was ready and they were just pulling it out of the bay. So we got ready and left around 9:45 am. Beth dropped me off at the dealership and then went to the dentist. I came home and then left around 11:15 am to go to AC Moore and then to the gym for a meeting. I was back home around 1 pm. Beth has to go to a different dentist and have a root canal done on her bottom wisdom tooth, which will be done on Monday. We had some lunch and she left around 2 pm to go to the doctor about her shoulder. She gave her some more pills and if it is not better in 10 days then they will d an MRI and see an ortho doctor. We then went to Wal-mart to pick up a few things and came home. Dawn and Rylee came over around 5:45 pm for dinner. Rylee has had a rough week with potty and poop training. Dawn is not sure if something is going on at school or what the heck is wrong. Only time will tell. Tomorrow starts a different routine. We are getting to shape and dropping weight, which is a big thing for us. We have a wager, so it should be an interesting 6 months.

Gym sign up...

We both got up around 8:30 am this morning  We had breakfast and took showers. The dealership called to say my truck would not be ready this morning as their delivery van had an accident on the slick roads. So we went and signed up for gym memberships and found our insurance will pay up to $150 per year if we attend at least 120 times in a 365 day cycle. I am still waiting to hear about my insurance and hope to hear tomorrow. We are having problems with the cable speed in the house and they are coming out Friday to look at it. It seems every time a house gets hooked up, our speed drops ans it has been really slow the last 2 days. So I am hoping to pick up my truck tomorrow  and then hit the gym for a training class on setting your own schedule. Beth had both a dentist and doctor appointment tomorrow. Lucky her.

Gym time...

I was up around 7:45 am this morning and Beth got up around 8:30 am. We had breakfast and took showers. We then went to Planet Fitness. We both have to really get serious about losing weigh and hare a plan that we think will work for us. We then went to get some lunch and to the store. We came home and Beth finished all the painting. She still has to stain the rail that Buster ate and if it is not good, she will have to paint that. I did not do much else that afternoon, but did got to Lowe's to get a couple things Beth needed. The neighbors across form us moved in today. We found we now have to be real careful as they can see into out living room. It was cold and damp most of the day and it misted a little this afternoon. I can not pick up my truck as it would not pass inspection. The tail light that has been busted for 7 years finally gave way and it had to be replaced. And again the radio was working fine, so at least there is nothing to fix. They said it would be ready tomorrow morning, so no big deal.

Painting complete...

I got up around 7:30 am this morning and was on the phone with the insurance company by 8:05 am. I got a bill for $1,890 for my insurance which is sooooooo wrong. After waiting on hold and finally talking to some one, it was determined I need to talk to the medical underwriters to see if they would change the date. So after talking to them, I had to send an e-mail explaining the problem and ask for an effective date change from 2/15 to 3/1. So off the e-mail went. I got back an email, saying they could not not change the date to 2/1 but could change it to 3/1. Well is that not what I asked for. So the lady said she would let me agent know and get back to me. I left around 10 am to go to Exton to Party city and AC Moore. I picked up Chipotle on the way home. Beth was putting the final coat on the walls and stopped to have lunch. I still did not have an email back. After lunch, I went to scrapbook and Beth continued painting. DJ called to say Kyle got a job as a bus boy at Ice House pizza. He is working 24 hours a week and is so excited. Around 3 pm I sent an email asking for some news. The lady said my request was being submitted and would take 7 to 10 days. Well that is not what I wanted to hear since the 1st is in 4 days. So off another email went to the first lady asking what I needed to do, so now I have to wait until morning. Always something!!! Beth finished the major part of paint and has a few touch ups to do, but it really looks nice. I have to drop off my truck to tonight to get it inspected tomorrow. And of course the radio that had not been work for 4 weeks is not working all the time. Go figure.

Painting...

Beth was up and at church by 7:45 am and I got up around 8:45 am. After Beth got home, we had breakfast and she went down to paint. I worked in the scrapbook room. Beth was able to get the entire room done with one coat and it really looks nice. I got the Panama book about 95% done and hope to finish it up in the next couple days.

Hockey game...

We got up around 8:30 am this morning. We had some breakfast and I took a shower. Beth got dressed and began painting the downstairs. I did a load of towels and put a pot of ham and beans on. I then went down to scrapbook. We had dinner around 4:30 pm and then went to pick up Rylee and Jo. Dawn had purchased a new car and was taking car of all the paperwork. We headed to Oaks to watch Jojo play hockey. After the hockey game, we went to BJ's to get a few things then came home. I am so ready for bed.

Imagine machine discontinued...

I got up at 7:45 am this morning. I started the laundry and read some stuff on the computer. Beth did not roll out of bed until 9:30 am. After lunch, I went downstairs to scrapbook. Beth and Dawn went to lunch and then to Lowe's to get paint. I was having problems with my new machine and did some research on the internet and found that the machine had been discontinued. Mom you might let Steph know about this. I was able to get it running again, but so sad that they will not be making any new thing for the machine. Just my luck. We had french toast for dinner, since it is meatless Friday for awhile. Beth hooked up her computer and has a ton of updates and things to install, so she will be busy for awhile. It was clod again today and we saw some snow flurries, but they did not amount to anything.

Another day of scrapbooking...

I got up around 7:45 am this morning and Beth was up by 9 am. We had breakfast and I took a shower. Beth changed into her work clothes and we both went downstairs. I went to scrapbook and Beth went to work on the bar area. We stopped around 1 pm for some lunch. Beth went and picked up her pc from Maggie and then went to Lowe's. She quit for the day around 4 pm and took a shower. Dawn and Rylee go here around 5:30 pm and we had fajitas for dinner. It was cold and windy here today, but not like KC were they have snow everywhere. I wish we had some.

Scrapbooking all day...

Beth was up early this morning so she could watch Robin Roberts on GMA and I slept until 8 am. We had breakfast and took showers. I went down to scrapbook and Beth working on the bar area. She is painting all the walls and rehanging things. it will keep her busy for a a week or so. She will get her computer back tomorrow and I know she will be happy about that. Not much else today.

Insurance...

We got up around 8 am this morning. We had some breakfast and took showers. It was off and running the rest of the morning. We went to Lowe's, Pet Smart, and Beth's bank. We then stopped by the State farm office so I could sign paper for my new truck insurance and then off to the off insurance to cancel my existing truck insurance. I am saving about $240 a year, so a good move. then off to the store and to PetCo. We got Buster a heater for his bed and hope it will stop him form jumping in to bed with us at night. We finally made it home around 1 pm and had some lunch. I went downstairs to scrapbook and came back up around 5 pm.I tried something different for dinner. You take pizza dough and put it in a muffin tin, then add a overstuffed beef ravioli with some pizza sauce and cheese, then bake. It was not too bad and Beth with OK with it. We talked about different ways to use the idea and will try that at a later date. So it was off to scrapbook the rest of the evening. I am about 3/4 the way done with the Panama trip.

President's Day...

I got up around 6:15 am this morning. I took a shower and headed to Dawn and Jo's house around 7 am . Rylee did not have school today, so we got to spend the day with her. Rylee and I picked Beth up around 8:30 am to go see Dr. Bill. We stopped on the way home to get donuts. We came back to our house for breakfast and Rylee played on the computer for awhile. We then went to Best Buy so Beth could get a new hard drive for her computer. Rylee and I went to Five Below. We then stopped at McDonald's to have lunch and let Rylee play on the indoor playground. She had a good time, but there were too many big kids and she got lost in the shuffle. We then came home and she tried to take a nap, but that did not last to long. She at least got a hour of rest time. Dawn came home around 5 pm and we came home and had left over meatloaf for dinner. I will be ready for bed early tonight, but it was a good day.

Sunday snow...

We got up around 8:30 am. We had some breakfast and Beth took a shower. She was out the door and headed to church by 10:15 am. I took a shower and went down to scrap book until Beth got home. We had some lunch and then went to Michael's for a few things. We stopped by Dawn and Jo's house to visit with Rylee and give her the shirt we got her. It was really getting dark and the wind and snow were coming down hard. It only lasted about an hour and melted away. We came home and I fixed meat loaf for dinner. I am so really for bed and have to get up early as we are watching Rylee tomorrow.

Laundry day...

I got up around 7:45 am this morning. I started laundry and went into the office. I head the washer beep and the stupid F11 message came up. We have had problems with it on the last spin cycle. So after several times of doing the pause, push, reset thing I could not get it to finishing spinning. So I thought, if I unplug it it might reset it self. We it did not and finally after 20 minutes of playing with it, I got it to finish. So I started the next load and the door would not lock, so after 15 minutes with it, the second load was on its way. Beth got up around 9:30 am. She found her computer was not working right, so we took showers and took it to Best Buy. They told her the hard drive way going out and that she need a new one. Could the day get any better. At least I had no more issues with the washer. I did have 5 loads of laundry and got it all folded and put away. Dawn and Jo picked us up around 6 pm and we all went to dinner at the Fireside. It was a really nice place and the food was great. They expect us to get some snow tonight, but we have not really had much to speak of this year.

Home Sweet Home..

We got up around 6:15 am this morning. We took showers and finished packing. The bell boy came around 7:30 am to help with the luggage and to get the purple box. Our transportation got there around 8 am and we were at the airport by 8:30 am. The fight was not full so most middle seats were empty, which was good for us. We landed around 1 pm and it was already 55 degrees our and no snow. we stopped by BJ's on the way home for lunch and a few things. Beth took a nap until 5:30 pm and we picked up Buster around 7 pm. So now the family is all back together and ready for new adventures. I did notice one thing at Universal Studios, they have no scrap booking items at all. What a money making item they are losing out on.

Pat O'Briens

I slept until 8:15am and Beth slept until 9am. We took our time getting ready as it was a cloudy gloomy day. The temperature was in the mid 60's and could rain at anytime. We headed to the City Walk area and found it very disappointing. There were a lot less shops than we thought and most places to eat we're not open. We finally got a pizza that was not good at all. How can you mess up pizza? We finally left and came back to the room. I was able to pack a little and it began to rain. We headed out to dinner at Pat O'Briens. They had a piano player and the crowd was into it. Beth had 3 drinks and was feeling no pain when we left, but she might in the morning. So we leave in the morning and have enjoyed our trip. We learned it is not close to Disney standards. You can see everything in 3 days and that might be a little to much. We will not have to make a return trip anytime soon. So Happy Valentine's Day to all and we will be home tomorrow.

SeaWorld

We got up around 6:15am this morning. We headed for the bus to take us to Sea World at 8am. After having our picture taken several times, we finally made it into the park. After looking at the map and deciding what shows we wanted to see and what times, we headed for the Dolphin Theater to see a great show with dolphins, birds, and characters. We then stopped for some lunch at Voyager's Smokehouse. The brisket was a little tough, but had good flavor. It was then on to see Shamu. It again was a good show. We then headed to the shark area and some really cool sharks and fish. It was a very hot and humid day with a chance of showers. We caught the 3:30pm show of sea lions, otters, and a walrus. We headed to the front of the park to look at the pictures they took and purchased 3 of them. We caught the bus back to the hotel at 5pm. We rested for awhile and headed to the pool. The clouds were rolling in fast and we skipped the swim and had dinner. Just as we ordered, the rain cut loose. So we ate our dinner of nachos and fruit in a downpour avoiding the drips in the ceiling. It was great. So we are now relaxing from a full and great day at Sea World. Beth has pictures on Facebook.

Finishing Up Universal Studios & Adventure Island

We slept until 8:30am this morning. We took our time getting ready and headed to the park around 10am. We were able to get lots of photos with characters today. We ate at Mel's diner and the burgers were good. We went on the Despicable me ride again and Shrek 4D. We did our final shopping and I headed home around 3pm. Beth went to visit Harry Potter one more time and had a butter beer. I was able to catch the boat right away. I rested in the room until Beth came home around 5pm. We went downstairs and had some dinner. I had pull pork sliders and Beth had wings. We then got changed and went to the hot tub for a good soak. We are going to Sea World tomorrow and might have some rain.

The Blue Man Group

We got up early this morning and made it to the park by 8am. We hit the Harry Potter attractions witless crowds. Beth went on the Forbidden Journey ride. I was smart enough to wait for her. First it broke down and took awhile and then the ride made her queenly. We then walk into some of the shops and finally got some butter beer. It is a butterscotch cream soda type drink. It was sure good and we had it again. We then walked around to get some ore photo and my dang camera battery died. We found a place to charge the battery for 30 minutes for five bucks. So we left there and used our phones for some pictures and did some birthday shopping for Payton. We went back and picked up the battery and headed for some lunch. We ate at The Three Broomsticks. Beth had ribs and I had chicken. They were both very good. We made our way out of the park and back to the room by 2:30pm. We both were in need of a rest. It was in the high 80s and sunny. We both have some sun and it feels good. We left for the park to check our pictures and the on to dinner at The Hard Rock Cafe. I had the 3 cheese Mac and cheese with chicken and Beth had a burger. I had the groupie group dink and it was good. It was mango with pineapple juice and a couple other thing with no alcohol in it. We then went to the Blue Man group and saw a great show. We caught the boat home and are now ready for bed. Tomorrow is a day of rest.

Minions Minions Minions

We got up around 8am this morning. I took a shower and was done before room service came. We had ordered a glass of milk and some fruit. Beth took k cups with her and we also had pop tarts. After Beth took her shower, we headed to the park. We went to the Universal Studio side today. We worn our minion shirts and could not wait to ride the Despicable Me ride. I sat in the front on the stationary seats and Beth sat on the ones that moved. It was a great ride and we rode it twice. We rode the Twister ride, and then on to the Beetlejuice Graveyard Revue. It was an great show and very exciting. We ate at Finnegan's which is an Irish pub. We had Scottish eggs, Shepard pie, some kind of chicken. Beth had the five beer sample and she loved it. We then made our way around the park and then caught the 5pm parade. We went to Margaritaville. Beth had a chicken Caesar salad and I had a Caribbean chicken salad and it was wonderful. We then walked home instead of taking the boat as it was a nice evening. So it was a great day and we had fun.

From Shivers to Shorts

We woke up at 4am and there was about 1 inch of icy snow on the car. We made an on time departure but had to de-ice for 45 minutes before we took off. Made it to Orlando and our hotel at Universal Studios, changed into shorts and went to the park for lunch. Came back after a few hours to rest and unpack. Went back for dinner at the NASCAR restaurant and then to the Mardi Gras parade. Boy did we score beads.
Going to bed soon. The picture of us with hats and beads is a picture of a picture so it may be grainy.

Decision made...

We were up around 8:30 am this morning. I got busy cleaning and doing laundry. We have been watching the weather channel most of the day trying to decide what to do about going to the airport early. We went and filled up the caddy with gas and came home. Beth made loaded what we might need in the caddy as far as cold weather stuff. Dawn and Rylee came by for dinner around 5:30 pm. We had sloppy joes and fries. After they left, we took Buster over to the McWalter's house. We then came home and made reservations for a hotel by the airport. We were not able to get the one attached to the airport and should have made reservations last night, but we are only a mile away and it was cheaper. So we will leave and be done there by early afternoon to avoid any bad weather and then wait to see if our flight is on time Saturday morning.

Bad weather on the way...

Beth was up and out the door by 7:15 am this morning  She had to take Jojo to school and was back home by 8:10 am. We had breakfast and I took a shower. I had to run to Dr. Bill's office to get the year end statement for taxes and was back home around 11:30 am. The started digging the hole for the sewer system today. They started in the woods and are working their way back up to us. So it may be a couple weeks before they get things going. We have some bad weather coming our way starting Friday. We are thinking of getting a hotel at the airport Friday not and not dealing with the drive early Saturday morning. Not sure if it will be rain, snow, or a mixture of both. They are waiting til it gets closer to call it, but we don't want to wait that long. So we are trying to get everything done tomorrow and see what Friday holds for us. Buster will be going to stay with Gabby a day early.

Run Run Run

We were up around 8:30 am this morning. We had breakfast and I took a shower. I had left around 10 am and headed to the dentist office. I had to get a year end statement of my bills for last year. Then it was off to Dr. Bill office, but I found they were closed. I will have to get a statement from them tomorrow. Then it was off to Wal-mart to get gummies and a couple other things. The off to the grocery store for a couple of things that were on sale. Beth had a hair cut appointment at 11:30 am. We both made it home around the same time. We had more leftovers for lunch and Beth then went downstairs to clear off the wall. The downstairs walls are getting painted and pictures and stuff will displayed better. We had teriyaki chicken for dinner with rice. Beth has to get up early in the morning to take Jojo to school and should be home about the time I get up.

More snow...

We woke up around 8:30 am this morning. It had snowed again last night, but only got a inch or so of the light power. We had breakfast and took showers. Beth went out around noon to get the mail and the driveway was clear. The sun was doing a pretty good job of cleaning things off. The back deck and sidewalk do not get that much sun, so I helped it along by cleaning off the top layer. The afternoon sun did some good, but we are to get another inch tonight. I worked on scrapbook stuff until dinner and we had leftovers from the party and have enough for tomorrow night and a couple lunches. I will have a pretty easy week of cooking. We did pack most of our clothes and have to wait for laundry to pack the rest.

Happy Birthday Kyle...

I slept until 8:30 am this morning and Beth got up around 9:15 am. We had some breakfast and I went out to sweep off the back deck. The snow was just like powder and easy to get off. I came back in and Beth went out to do the driveway. It did not take her long and the sun came out a bit to help melt what was left. We had some lunch and Beth went out to fix the 2 window well scenes we have in them. She found a snake in one of them and I had to go out and remove it. It was frozen stiff, but that is my job. I started cooking around 4 pm. We had little tacos, buffalo wings, chicken tenders, teriyaki chicken,  all types of dip and chips and birthday cake. The party started a little after 6 pm. We had about 20 people and enjoyed watching a great game. I want to say Happy 16th birthday to Kyle and thanks for celebrating with us. Everyone started leaving around the end of the third quarter. The snow was coming down again and most people had school or work tomorrow. Rylee wanted me to take her home and I said I did not have a car seat, so she turned to Aunt Beth to ask her is she had a car seat and Beth could not say no. So she took Rylee home and Jo followed. Dawn stayed til the end and Beth then ran her home. We collected all the trash and now it is time to relax a little before going to bed. Congratulation to the Ravens for a fine Superbowl win.

Toy story 3..

We were up around 8:30 am this mooring. Beth had breakfast and took a shower. Gale and Angie came by to pick her up around 10:15 am. They were going to look at a puppy Gale and Angie are getting and Beth just wanted to look at puppies. I left to go to KOP and then to BJ's for a few things for the party tomorrow. I was back home around 1 pm. Beth came home around 2:30 pm. I had to run to Costco to get some sterno fuel for the party tomorrow. We then headed to Dawn and Jo's house for dinner around 5 pm. The three of them were going to a friends 50's birthday party and Rylee and I were having movie night. We watched Toy Story 3, but she closed her eyes on the fire part. She was in bed and asleep by 8:45 pm. The other three got home around 12:30 am. We all had a great night and have snow on the ground again.

Snow day...

We got up around 8 am this morning. It was snowing sideways and the wind was really blowing hard. It did not last long and it melted about an hour later. We had breakfast and took showers. We left and went to the mall. Beth needed to mail some stuff and we needed to get the kids valentine day cards. We then went to Super wal-mart for a few things and then on to Bed Bath and Beyond. It was so cold out and the wind was still blowing hard. we came home and had leftovers. Beth went downstairs to work on her rocks and I made cupcakes. Thought having the over would help warm in up, but it did not last longs. We had Swedish meatballs for dinner and a cupcake afterwards.
