End of 2012...

We spent most of the day at Cabala's today with Dawn and Rylee. We then opened Christmas presents with Jojo. As it is New Year's Eve and time to look back at the year and and good year it was. Beth had both knees replaces in March and it was very successful  I turned 50th this and we went on our first Disney cruise and love it.Payton and Kyle began racing and we spent alot of time at the track watching them. Jojo began playing hockey and found that an ice ring is very cold watching kids play. We took Payton to Disney for his first time and he loved it and want to go back. Dawn, Jo, and Rylee lived with us for about 6 weeks and we had a great time. Rylee now wants to walk to our house and can't understand why not when it it freezing cold out. So I would have to say it was a great year and we look forward to what 2013 has in store for us.

Bye Bye Andy Reid...

Beth was up and out the door by 8 am this morning. I slept until 8:30 am then took a shower. I got the mac and cheese ready for the oven just as Beth was coming home. She sliced the roast beef and I finished the veggies and dip. Everything was ready to go for the football party. We started watching the Eagles game, but by halftime it was a blow out. We then changed to the Redzone and finished watching the games. It was announced after the game that Reid would be let go tomorrow. I am sure there were be alot more tight behind him. Beth had to go get salt as the back sidewalk was really slick. Cold weather will be around for awhile and snow is expected again on Tuesday.

Fast Heavy Snow...

We went to the store around 10 pm last night as the snow was suppose to start around 6 am. We got up at 9 am and it was not snowing at all. We sat around until 10 am and I then went to take a shower. When I got out, it was snowing so hard you could hardly see outside. By 4 pm it had stopped and we had 3 inches. I spent the afternoon playing with my new cricut machine and printing Payton's Disney pictures. Beth had to clean the keg and got things ready for the party. Around 5 pm, we headed to Dawn and Jo's for dinner. Rylee and Jo we out sledding and they were having alot of fun. We had a great dinner with them and came home around 8 pm. Beth cleaned the driveway off and the back deck. I think the snow will be around for awhile, since it is so clod outside.

Another pillow...

We both slept until 9 am this morning. I got up and took a shower. Beth needed her coffee first, then took a shower. We headed to KOP to exchange the pillow I got. The first one did not hold it shape and not wide enough for my side sleeping. So we tried several more and I think I found the right one this time. It had to be, cause you cane only exchange once. It was a down pillow, with a harder center core. Felt nice when laying at the store, so we we will see. We then came home and I started laundry. We had some lunch and the football games started. We had hoagies for dinner and Beth went to see her brother. I found a great app to download to help me with my new Imagine machine. I have to now hook up the intent to the computer in the scrapbook room. It was really cold and windy again today. I don't think we will get above 38 degrees during the next week.

Watching Rylee...

I got up at 6 am this morning. I took a shower and headed to Dawn and Jo's house. I got to spend the day with Rylee. She got up around 8:45 am and we put her new bike together. We then played with some of her toys until Aunt Beth got there around 11 am. We went to McDonald's for lunch and then it was nap time. She took a nap in her castle for about a couple hours then woke up not knowing where she was. I picked her up and she went back to sleep in my arms for another hour. I was so nice to hold her. We came home around 5 pm and had leftovers for dinner. We watched the bowl games that were on and Dawn stopped by around 8:45 pm for a visit. It was very cold and windy today.

Snowy rainy day...

We got up around 8:30 am this morning. We had breakfast and took showers. We then went to Dawn and Jo's house to do Christmas with them. It started to snow really hard and the wind was blowing. We then had to go to the beer store and to the cable place. We then went to Best Buy to get the cables for the blue ray players. We stopped by Maggie and DJ's house to give Kyle the present we forgot to give him yesterday. The snow had changed to sheet and was still coming down hard. We finally made it home around 3 pm. We picked up Beth niece, Amanda, and meet Jess for dinner. Amanda was visiting from Mexico and hates the cold weather.

Merry Christmas...

Beth was up and at church by 8 am. I got up about 15 minutes and took a shower. I put the cinnamon rolls in the oven and made apple salad. We had breakfast when Beth came home and then opened presents. I was very surprised at the the new Imagine machine I got for scrap booking. Now it will take me awhile to figure out how to use it. I also got gift cards, cricut cartage, an Angry bird hat, speakers for my computer, and lot of prepper stuff. I had to put aside playing with all my stuff and get dinner ready. I made ham, scalloped potatoes, green bean casserole, and apple salad. It was all yummy. We went over and had Christmas with the boys around 3 pm and had dessert with DJ and Maggie. We came home and be both got to play with our presents. Beth found she needed a cable for her 3D blue ray player, so it is off to Best Buy tomorrow. It was a great day and we got lots of nice gifts. So Merry Christmas to all.

Christmas Eve....

We sleep until 9 am this morning. I did some house cleaning and Beth vacuumed for me. We spent the rest of the day just relaxing and do much of nothing. We received several gift today in the mail and loved them all.  We will be talking to several of you tomorrow to say thanks. We went to Jo's parent house for Christmas eve. We had a very nice dinner and opened gifts. We then tracked Santa for Rylee and played in the snow. I am just thrilled we have snow on Christmas. So it is off to bed, so Santa can come.

Fantasy football finals...

Beth was up and at church by 8 am. I crawled out of bed around 9 am. I made us breakfast of fried eggs and potatoes. We left to go to DJ and Maggie's house to drop off their cookies. We then went to Bed Bath and Beyond and then on to Michael's. We were back home around noon and had some lunch before kickoff. Beth had to put together a couple of things for Dawn, so she stayed upstairs and watched the Eagles lose. I went to the scrape book room and watched the RedZone and cleaned up my area. We had chili slaw dogs and salad for dinner. We had alot of trash to take out to the road and made it before kickoff of the last game of the day. Beth is playing Dawn for the fantasy football finals. Beth needs 38 points for the 49ers quarterback to win. So we will hope for a good game from him.

Polar Express

We got up around 8 am this morning. I fixed waffles and bacon for breakfast and then Beth took a shower. She was going to watch Jojo play hockey up in Reading. Kim came to pick her up around 11:30 am. I had to run to the grocery store and to Michael's. Beth came home around 3 pm. I put the lasagna in the over around 4:15 pm. I started the hotdogs and finished the salad. Everyone got here around 6 pm and we had dinner. We started the movie Polar Express around 6:30 pm. Rylee and Jojo were the only kids here as Payton was still sick. They were both glued to the TV during the movie. we gave them bells during the Santa part and they loved them. The NFL game came on at 8:30 pm and everyone left  around 9 pm. It was a good day with great friends.

Busy Day...

We were up at 8 am this morning. Beth took a shower and headed to Dawn's house. She was waiting for the guys to install their blinds. I took a shower and headed to the grocery store. I then came home and started the laundry. I took Beth up a sandwich and came back home. She was back home around 1 pm. We had to go to the bank, take the cable box back, and go deposit a check for her brother.  We were back home around 3:30 pm. Beth went to take a nap and I folded laundry. We had tacos for dinner and are now cleaning the downstairs. We are having a movie night tomorrow night and watching The Polar Express.

Week of maintenance...

We got up around 8 am this morning. We had breakfast and took showers. We then went to AC Moore as I had 2 50% off coupons and needed some tape. We then stopped at Staples to look a a couple of things and them came home. We had lunch and I watched then putt the roof on the house across the street. Those 2 boys they have working are really fast and do a good job. We think they are Amish or Mennonite. I had to get my hair cut and colored at 3:30 pm and they stopped by the store on the way home. Dawn and Rylee came for dinner and left around 7:30 pm. So the week of doing maintenance on myself is completed and I am ready for the new year. 

2 sick kids...

I got up around 7:30 am this morning. I took a shower and headed out the door around 8:20 am. I got a text from Dawn saying Rylee threw up again  and could be watch her is she was not really sick. I said sure. I had a dentist appointment and things are going well. I don't HATE going to the dentist anymore. I came home and Jo's car was here. Rylee seemed to be fine, so Jo went to work. We watched some TV and Rylee just snuggled in next to me. I made some lunch and she ate pretty good. We then went to take a nap. She tried every trick in the book to not take one, but it did not work. She fell asleep around 1:30 pm. Beth went to pick Jojo up as we were going to celebrate her birthday and take her to dinner. Beth got home around 3:45 pm and Rylee was still sleeping. Jo came by around 4:15 pm and Rylee slept until 4:30 pm. We all left together and Jojo was not feeling well at all. She hardly ate any dinner and was cold and tired. So we dropped her off at home and then we came home. The weather is starting to turn cold and the high next week is only going to be 38 to 40 with a low in the 20's. Hope for a white Christmas, but it not going to happen.

One week from today....

We got up around 8 am this morning. Lynne was suppose to bring over Jojo clothes, but they sent them to school with her instead. I took a shower and headed to super Wal-Mart for my eye exam. My prescription was the same as last year and there were no problems with my eyes. So I did some shopping and headed home. Beth wanted fried chicken for lunch ans it sounded good. So I stopped by Giant and picked up some and them came home. We had lunch and Beth went to pick up Jojo from school. Them came home and Jojo changed and they headed out for gymnastic practice. Kim called to say she was still at the hospital with Lynne, so Beth and Jojo came home. We ordered pizza for dinner and Kim picked up Jojo around 7:30 pm.  I dropped off the remaining reindeer cookies for Rylee to take to school tomorrow. Dawn said all the kids at school are really wound up for Christmas. So one week from today we will be opening our presents and celebration Christmas.

On the go...

We were up at 7:30 am this morning. We took showers and headed out the door to see Dr. Bill at 9 am. We stopped at Dunking and got breakfast and then headed to BJ's wholesale club. We picked up our ham for Christmas dinner and a couple other things. We then went to the bank and to Micheal's. We were finally home around noon. We had some lunch and then rested. Beth took Buster to the groomer around 4 pm and we picked him up around 7 pm. I was all nice and clean.

Football day..

I got up around 8 am this morning and Beth slept until 10 am. I took a shower and went to get a paper and breakfast. After breakfast, I went downstairs to work on getting it cleaned up. Beth had to scoop poop as it was going to rain and the yard needed it. Kick off was at 1 pm and we spent the rest of the day watching the red zone. I did take 30 minutes to clean out the big freezer and she what we had and what we needed to get.  

A day of rest...

We got up around 8:30 am this morning. We watched a little more coverage on the CT shooting and then had to turn it off. We took showers and had breakfast. Dawn had called to say her and Rylee were baking cookies if we wanted to come up. Beth went to CVS an the then we had a quick lunch. We headed to see Dawn and Rylee. Rylee had the runs the morning, so Dawn stayed home with her while Jo went to see the boys. Rylee seemed fine and was very playful. Her and I watched a movie and played , while Dawn made cookies and Beth watched her. We had a get time and it was nice to be with Rylee. We left to come home around 5 pm as Beth went to 5:30 pm mass. We had leftover roast and it was just as good the second. I did get to watch the 2 bowls games that were on and they were good games. Tomorrow is clean up the downstairs as it really needs it.

Sad Sad Day...

Beth was up at 7 am this morning. She took and shower and was out the door by 8 am an on her way to her doctor's appointment. I got up around 8:30 am and took a shower. I started laundry and had some breakfast. Beth was back home around 11 am. We left and went to AC Moore as I had a coupon, but we could not find anything we wanted. We turned on the news to find that some idiot had gone into an elementary school and killed 26 people. I will for the life of me NEVER understand how someone could purposefully kill a 5 year child. I just sadden both of us all day and made us really look at what is truly important. Beth experimented with making different kinds of chocolate bars today. It was not as much fun as she thought, but she made some really good combinations. So we tried to watch happy Christmas movies tonight, but the thoughts are still in our heads of a very sad day. Please keep the families of those effected today in your prayers.

Bye Bye Packages...

We were up around 8:30 am this morning. we took showers and Beth took the packages to the UPS store. DJ came by around noon for a visit and to pick up her pictures Beth printed for her. We had lunch and I left to do some shopping. I needed to get a few more stocking stuffers for Beth. I cane home around 4 pm and took a little nap. I had put a chuck roast on this morning as we were eating at Dawn and Jo's house. Dawn called around 6pm ish to say they were home and we headed up the street. We are now watching the Eagles play and hoping for another win.

Cookie baking done...

We got up around 8 am this morning. I took a shower and we had breakfast. I started making the reindeer cookies, as the mix had to set in the fridge for 2 hours before baking. While I waited, I put all the baking stuff away as we were done with the cookie part. Beth went to BJ's and picked up a few things and was back home by lunch time. I finished baking the last of the cookies around 2 pm.  I then started on the cake pops. They were already baked and just needed frosted. Beth had to go pick up Jojo from school around 3pm and Kim came to pick her up around 4:30 pm. I finished the last of the cake pops around 5 pm and put dinner in the over. I put together the cookie tins I needs to ship tomorrow and then dinner was ready. After dinner, I packed up all the boxes and they are ready to take to the UPS store tomorrow. I am dead tired tonight and my feet are killing me, but all the cookies are done. We still have a few thing of chocolate to do, but we have time to get them done. I watched In The Kitchen with Dave, and found alot of neat things, but did not buy anything. These are my reindeer cookie, so easy to make.

Cookie making - day 2

We got up around 9 am this morning. We took showers and I started on my cookies. The sun was finally shinning after not seeing it for a week. I made about 6 dozen cherry cookies and 4 dozen sugar cookies.  I had to go to AC Moore and then picked up lunch on the way back. Beth helped me decorate the sugar cookies after lunch. Liz came by to visit with Beth and talk about school. I started making the chocolate items for Christmas. We went out to dinner at TGI friday as we had a gift card. So tomorrow is another day of cookie making and I hope the last. I am hoping to ship items on Thursday.

Cookie making...

We got up around 7:30 am this morning. we had appointment to see Dr. Bill for much needed adjustments. He said we were both tight and he wanted to see us in a week. We stopped by Dunkin on the way home to get breakfast. After breakfast, I went to the grocery store and to Micheal's to get the remaining things I needed to make cookies. Beth began making her cookies, so I did the covered oreos and stayed out of her way. She finished up around 4pm, so her part is all done. I will do mine tomorrow and hopefully finish on Wednesday. Thanks mom for my early Christmas present. It was a subscription to the Food Network Magazine. I got  the card and the magazine today.

Not my day...

We got up around 9 am this morning. Beth had breakfast and took a shower. She headed off to 10:30 am mass. I took a shower, put a load of towels in the washer, and began making cake pops. Something was just not right with the cake pops, so I made 2 batches and quick. Beth came home and we had lunch. I then made some pretzel treats. I was going to do the covers Oreo cookies, but did not have the wafers I needs. I then moved on to the cookies and I was missing one thing from each batch. It was just not my day for making cookies. So I settled for watching the Eagles finally win a game. We had ribs for dinner and the were not warm all the way through, so I decided it was not my day for cooking anything and will try again tomorrow.

Up early...

We were up at 6 am this morning. we took showers, grabbed a pop tart, something to drink, and were on the road. Jojo was playing hockey and she was the goalie in the game. We got there just as the game started and we had to sit on the cold side. It was not bad enough that it was 38 degrees out, but were had to sit on the side that has the cold air blowing. The team they played were so much better than Jojo's team.  It is a good thing they don't keep score, but a really good learning experience for them. We left there and went to BJ's for a few things, then on to KOP. I went to the sleep number store to get one of the new air pillows to see if it works any better than the 8 other pillows I have. Jo called us to say Dawn had cut her finger really bad and they may have to take her to get stitches. So we hurried home and she finally got it to stop bleeding, so it looks like no stitches are needed. We are now headed up to their house for pizza. I am then watching Rylee as the 3 of them go to Wendy'd Christmas party.

Presents wrapped...

We got up at 8 am this morning. we took showers and headed the door around 9:30 am. We headed to the Wal-mart in Reading as they had the holiday pretzel I needed for a recipe. We then went to the Hallmark store, but they did not have what we needed. The last stop was to the farmer's market for ribs on Sunday. We stopped at Hooter's and had lunch. We then came home. It was wet, rainy, cold day. I started laundry and Beth wrapped her presents downstairs. She then went t mass. I had dinner and then she had dinner when she got home. I then went downstairs to wrap the remaining gifts for the kids. I only have the presents for Beth left to wrap.

Grocery shopping...

We both got up around 9 am this morning. We had breakfast and took showers. I left and went to the grocery store. I needed to get all the stuff for cookie making next week. I had several coupons and got 30 cents a gallon off on gas. It was a good trip. Beth had to got up to her parent's house to sign papers with the realtor and then went to the cemetery. She was back home around 4pm and ready for a rest. Dawn and Rylee came over for dinner around 6pm. I fixed steak and noodles and Rylee loved the noodle part. Jo stopped by around 7:15 pm and we had a good visit. I love having them so close to us now. Rylee was determined I was going home with her and just cried and cried until I got in the car with her. Dawn drove us home and Beth followed. She had to put my seat belt on and close my door when I left.  I did alot of the Christmas wrapping tonight and hope to finish tomorrow.

Shopping...

We slept until 9am this morning. We took showers and had some breakfast. I left and went to Costco to look at a few things, then on to Target. I came home around noon and we left again for Bj's wholesale club. I needed to get some stuff and did not want to wait til the weekend. We then stopped at Home goods and then to Wegman's. We finally finished and made it home around 4pm.Beth finished the Christmas decorating outside. We had leftovers for dinner and then I came downstairs to decorated the downstairs. Tomorrow I will start wrapping presents and get them under the tree.

House building...

We were up around 8 am this morning. Beth went to go give blood at 9 am and I took a shower. We had breakfast when Beth got back. DJ came by for a visit as we were taking stuff out of the attic. The are now working on the house across the street and we have lovely view of a pot a potty out our front window. So it will not be long before our new sewer system is installed. We are not putting alot of Christmas decorations out as our front yard will be torn up when the sewer is installed. Beth and DJ left around noon. Beth had to go pick up Jojo from school. Since it was a nice warn day, I finished pulling all the dead flowers and pulled weeds. We had lunch when Beth and Jojo got home and them the played outside with the remote controlled cars. I made Chicken Romano for dinner and it was really good. The temperature is going to drop the rest of the week and be rainy all week-end, so now is it is time to get the yard in order.

Car inspection and shopping...

We got up at 7am this morning. We took showers and had breakfast. We to the caddy to the service station to get it inspected, oil change, and tire rotated. We then headed to Kohl's to do some shopping for the 2 kids got off the angle tree at church. We got a text from Dawn saying Rylee got sick on the way to school and she was home. So after we finished shopping, we stopped by to see what was going on. We think Rylee is getting car sick, because she was fine the rest of the day. So as we were leaving Rylee wanted to go to our house with us. So Beth dropped off Rylee and me at the house and went to get the car inspected. Rylee and I watched Jake and the Neverland Pirates and Santa is coming to town. Dawn came by around 3pm to pick up Rylee., but Rylee wanted to walk home. So Dawn drove home and Rylee and I started walking.  Beth came by when we were almost there to pick me up and go get the caddy. We had leftovers for dinner and I painted the ornament tree gold as it really needed it. It was a nice day and the temp was in the low 60's and will be the same tomorrow.

Chiefs win...

Beth was up and gone by 6:30am this morning. I slept until 8am. I took a shower and was getting some breakfast when Beth and Dawn came in. we loaded the ladder and headed to Dawn's house. We were going to us it to put lights on the top peak of their house,  but it just was not sturdy enough. So plan b was to put light around the garage doors and on the front gutter.Rylee and I took a walk around the neighborhood while the rest did the lights. I left around noon to come home as it was really cold out and Rylee was taking a nap, so my job was done. Beth came home around 1:30pm. I had put a chuck roast in the crock pot for dinner and it was smelling good by now. Maggie and Payton came by to look at the pictures we took last week-end. Dawn, Jo, and Rylee came done to have dinner with us and it was really nice. We did see the Chiefs finally win under very sad setting. We are now hoping for an Eagles win.

Rylee day...

We got up around 8am this morning. we took showers and had breakfast before Rylee got here. We were watching her while Dawn and Jo did some shopping. She brought her new leap pad with her , so we played with that for awhile. Beth brought the Christmas stuff down from the attic and we set some of it out. Rylee and I came downstairs to watch some TV and play. We had some lunch and then came back downstairs. Jo called and said they were home and she would walk down to get Rylee. Rylee decided she wanted us to walk her part of the way. So we got our coats and headed out. We meet Jo for the hand off and they went home and we came home. Beth went to 5:30pm mass and I fixed dinner as soon as she got home. We had fajita and they tasted good. I am putting a chuck roast in the crock pot tomorrow for dinner. WE got the Christmas tree all decorated and hope to work on the Christmas decoration downstairs tomorrow afternoon.

Cookie Time...

I got up around 8 am this morning and Beth slept until 9 am. We had breakfast and took showers. Beth had to work on bills and I went downstairs to clean a spot for the Christmas tubs. Beth had to go out to the post office around 1 pm and we had lunch when she got back. I went through the cookies books and selected 5 new cookies to made and send out this year. So now I have to make a list of all the ingredients and see what I need. I made Beth steak for dinner and I had ham. Now it is time to decorate the tree downstairs and find a place upstairs for the ornament tree.

Shopping done

I got up around 8am this morning and Beth got up around 9:30am. We took showers and headed to Cabel's for some shopping. We stopped for some lunch at 5 guys burgers and it really good. After finding what we needed,we headed home with a stop at Echo hills. We made it home around 4pm and had a quick rest before Dawn and Rylee got her for dinner at 5:30pm. It was nice to have our Thursday dinners again. We the went to Lowe's so Dawn-could get Christmas lights. We are now watching football and relaxing.

Happy Birthday...

First off I have to say Happy Birthday to to step dad. I forgot his birthday yesterday, so Happy Birthday Ken...We got up around 9 am this morning  We were up late working on our Christmas cards.  We had some breakfast as we put the finishing touches on the cards. We then took showers and headed to the mall. I had to get a few Christmas presents and Beth wanted to get new batteries for her watches. We had lunch at TGIF and the salads were really good. We cam home and Beth put the easel together for Dawn and Jo for Rylee's birthday present. We headed up there around 6 pm for pizza. Rylee got a Leap pad for her birthday and loved it. She calls it her Ipad and know had to work all the buttons. So Happy 3rd Birthday Rylee.

Snow...

We woke this morning to 2 inches of snow. It was really coming down hard most of the day and tried to change to rain a couple of times. I started cleaning house as it needed it. I had laundry to fold and put away and then went on a major cleaning. After lunch, Beth went outside to clean off the driveway. The big snow blower would not work, so thank god the little was came to the rescue.  After we finished our drive way, we did Dawn and Jo's. We came home and Beth got warmed up and took a shower. I don't think the snow will last long as it is a wet heavy snow, but we will see. The roads seemed to be clean, but we will see if it freezes tonight.

Busy day...

WE got up around 7:30 am this morning. we took showers and waited for Jojo to get here. She was out of school today, so we were watching her. We left to go see Dr, Bill, then went to the bank, and on to Wal-mart. We came home and had some lunch around 11:30AM. We then headed to Oaks to shop at Target and then to the movies. We saw Rise of the Guardian and it was a good movie. Jojo had a good time. we dropped her off at home around 4pm and came home. we started putting up the lights on the house and wanted to get it done as it is going to rain and snow tonight and tomorrow. It took us around an hour and half, but I am glad we got it done. We had stew for dinner and then went to see Dawn and Jo's for a few minutes. Now it is time to watch the Eagles and hope for a good game.

Shopping Sunday...

We got up around 8:30 am this morning. We took showers and had some breakfast. we then headed out to the K-mart store to pick up Payton's Christmas present. We then stopped in Exton to get lunch and go to the Hallmark store. We got home just as kickoff was beginning. Great timing Beth! We watched the Redzone all day as the Eagles do not play until Monday night. We had the last of the turkey leftovers for dinner and are decorating the Christmas tree.

Birthday Party....

We got up at 7:30 am this morning. We took showers and headed to the track around 9 am. DJ wanted us to take pictures of the boys with their cars. It was so cold and the wind was really blowing. We took the pictures and then headed to Costco. Dawn followed us part way and she was headed their also. We did some shopping and then headed to Home Depot. We were going to buy the generator they had on sale , but that had none and did not get any. All of them were shipped to the hard hit areas of Sandy. Oh well, we will keep our eyes open. We then came home and I cleaned the downstairs. We got ready and headed to Dawn and Jo's house for Rylee's 3rd birthday party. She got lots of great things and had a good time. We were able to watch Notre Dame game and congrats to them for a perfect season and a chance at a title.

Black Friday Shopping.

We had a great Thanksgiving dinner yesterday and then had dessert at Dawn and Jo's house. Beth and I went shopping at Wal-mart for a few things and were able to get what we needed. The crowds were not bad and we were in and out by 10:30 pm. I was back up at 6:30 am this morning for more shopping. I got gas, stopped by the bank, and picked Dawn up. We hit Kohl's, AC Moore, Bed Bath and Beyond, and Best Buy. We then picked up Beth and went to Exton for lunch at Cheeseburger in Paradise and more shopping. We finally made it back to Dawn;s house around 4 pm. We came home around 5 pm and I took a little nap. We had leftovers for dinner and I search the Internet for some deals on a couple of things I needed.  Hoping to find more deals on Cyber Monday.

Pie day...

We got up around 8:30 am and had breakfast. I tried the new Sugar Cookie pop tarts and they were really good. We took showers and I headed out to do some errands. Beth made a pecan pie and cherry pie. I stopped on the way home to get Beth a hoagie and I had left over steak. I spent the rest of the afternoon doing some research on Black Friday deals to find a couple of things I wanted. I made pork chops and rice for dinner and now am setting up a schedule of when things need to be prepared tomorrow, so we can have dinner around 1:30 pm.

Turkey cookies...

We got up around 9 am this morning. We had breakfast and took showers. I started making the turkey cookies for Rylee to take to school tomorrow. Beth went to Exton to go to Toys R Us and a few other places. I found that I was short on Oreos , so it was off to the grocery store. I did pick up the free lasagna and the new sugar cookie pop tarts.  I came home and finished the turkey cookies. They turned out pretty cute and I think Rylee's class will like them. Beth came home and we had lunch we then loaded up the truck with another load of Dawn and Jo's stuff and took it to their house. We also delivered the cookies. Rylee found them when she came home and loved them as she had to try them out before taking them to school. So mow is the time to start thinking about my cookies for Christmas and the presents I still need to buy.

Passed...

We were up around 8:30 am this morning. We took showers and had cereal for breakfast. I finished putting together my grocery list and doubled check for coupons. My mom called to say my stepdad had passed his vision test and was able to get his driver's license for 5 more year. We were so excited for him. We left around 12:15 pm to go to the movies. Beth wanted to see Hotel Transylvania and I saw Breaking Dawn -part 2 again. I was still a very good movie. Beth dropped me off at the grocery store and went to do some shopping. I called her when I was done and was glad to be out of the store. I do not want to be there on Wednesday as I fear it will be a mad house. We came home and I put the grocery away and Beth went back out for more shopping. I fixed steak for dinner and Beth came home just in time. So I am not looking at the Black Friday ads to see where I need to go and what time they open.

More Moving...

We got up around 8:30 am this morning. We took showers and headed to Dawn and Jo's house. We had 2 loads of stuff to take to the basement and the ground was hard enough to move the truck over it. We got everything moved and Rylee asked if she could come to our house. We said sure, so we strapped her in the back seat of the truck and drove the 1/2 mile home. She played downstairs until 4 pm and then her and Aunt Beth walked back to her house. She loved walking and had a good time. We had left over of ham and potatoes for dinner as we could not stand to watch the Eagles anymore. Tomorrow is movie day and grocery shopping. I am hopping to get everything at the store, so I don't have to go out during the mad Thanksgiving rush.

Big Adventure...

We got up around 8 am this morning. We took showers and headed to Dawn and Jo's house. We were watching Rylee's as they went to see the boys. we decided to go to Hershey chocolate factory. It was a hour and half drive to get there. we found Christmas music and Rylee sang along with us. We took the chocolate factory ride and Rylee had a good time. Then we hit the candy part of the factory and Rylee went crazy. Everything she saw, she needed. So we finally got her down to 2 items. Beth went to pay and we went to see Santa and get her picture taken. We left there and went to McDonald's for some lunch. Rylee feel asleep on the way home and had a short nap. Dawn and Jo meet us at their house and we talked about our day. We came home around 5 pm and Beth went to mass this evening. We had Chinese for dinner and are watching college football. It was a great day.

Did not do much...

I got up around 8:30 am this morning. Beth was getting ready to leave and go to the ranch. I took a shower and headed to K-mart. I was looking for Pumpkin Kisses for Rylee's turkey cookies. I found them and got a couple other types of candy I would need. I came home and had some lunch. I talked to my mom and did some research on the computer. Beth came home around 1 pm and they were not able to fix the pipe at the ranch, so I see another trip in our future. I made scalloped potatoes and ham for dinner and I am now ready for bed. We are watching Rylee tomorrow and may go to the Hersey Chocolate factory.

Pre-Movie Day...

We got up around 8:30 am this morning. We had breakfast and took showers. We loaded the rest of Dawn and Jo's stuff from the garage and took it up to them. Beth then cleaned out the garage, so she could park her car in there out of the cold. Being a diesel, it dose not like the cold weather. She then worked outside on the flag holder project. I went and picked up Kyle, so he could cut the back one last time. Jo came down around 3:30 pm and got the rest of the hanging clothes. There is just a few  items in the basement, will wait for the ground to freeze and then load them up and drive them around back at their new house. I fixed dinner and got things ready to be gone all day tomorrow. The first movie starts at 11:30 am and runs til around midnight. It will be a good day.

Shopping...

We got up around 8 am this morning. Beth took a shower and had breakfast. Kim was coming by some time after 9 am to have Beth help her with Jojo's hockey schedule. I took a shower and got dressed. I headed to BJ's to do some shopping. I had several coupons for things and even got a free turkey. I came home and unloaded and headed back out. I went and picked up my ticket for the Twilight Saga movie day on Thursday. I then went to Best Buy to get the new Brave movie and then to the grocery store. I got home around 12:30 pm and we had some lunch. Dawn and Jo invited us over for dinner and it was nice to have dinner with them and Rylee. We came home around 7:30 pm as it is only a 3 minute dive now.

Much needed adjustments..

We got up around 7:30 am this morning. We saw Dr. Bill fro much needed adjustments. We stopped at Dunkin for breakfast and them came home. DJ and Maggie came by to load the racing stuff back into the trailer. Beth went out to work in the garage and I did laundry and cleaned house. I called the doctor about my iron readings and she said to continue with my iron and check it in 3 months. I had a hair appointment at 3:30 pm for a much needed cut and color. I fixed dinner on the grill and had to make sure the light was on as it gets really dark at 5:30pm. So now we are watching MNF and the Chiefs are finally leading in a game and I am hoping for a win.

Eagles suck...

I was nice to sleep until 9:30 am this morning. Beth took a shower and went to 10:30 am mass. I took a shower and started a load of laundry. After Beth got home, we loaded up some more of Rylee's stuff and too it up to her. She was excited to have her paints and baby doll. we then went to WAWA and got hoagies for lunch and watched football. We watched the red zone as the Eagles did not play until 4:20pm. It was then time for the Eagles game and they were bad. We did get to see our rookie QB and he was not bad. But being 3 and 6, I see alot of people being gone next year. We got a little of the downstairs cleaned up while watching the game. So tomorrow we are seeing Dr. Bill for needed adjustments.

Bye Bye roomies...

We got up around 7:30 am this morning. We took showers to try and loosen things up and started moving stuff again. The movers were at the house around 10 am and were unloading things. Beth and I were in charge of getting Rylee's room ready. We put her bed together, but had to go get additional hardware for it, put up 2 shelves, and put up 3 lights on the wall. I had to leave at 3 pm to go take a shower and head to the boys racing banquet. Both boys got trophies and Payton got a perfect attendance award. It was a good time.  I went back to Dawn and Jo's house to pick up Beth and Rylee had to show me her room. She was so excited to be in her new house with her stuff. So our roomies have move to their house and it is just the two of us again. We will miss them, but know they will enjoy their new house.

Pre moving day..

We got up around 7:30 am this morning. Dawn and Jo took the day off and were taking Rylee to school a little later. She was in a very good mood as she would be moving into her new house. They left around 8:15 am and I took a shower. Beth just got dressed and we headed out to the storage shed. It was my first time pulling the trailer and it was weird. We made it to the storage shed and began loading the boxes. It took us about 2 hours to load the trailer and the back of the truck. We came back to the house and waited for Dawn and Jo to finish up. We made it to the house around 11:45 am and started unloading. We were able to drive the the truck around to the back and unload the stuff in the basement, which saved us alot of time. We finished the fist load and went and had some lunch. By this time our backs were really starting to feel the pain of moving. We went back to the storage shed for the last load of the day. We got loaded and headed back to the house around 3pm. The cable guys were there to install the cable around 5pm. Jo's mom went to pick up Rylee and she feel asleep on the way home. That was not good, cause she was really cranky when she got home. It took here about 20 minutes and she was better. we left and went over to DJ's to get my ticket for the banquet tomorrow night. So now it is a night of rest before the big move tomorrow.

Test Results...

I got up around 7:30am this morning. we had breakfast and took showers. I called the doctor's office as they called me yesterday. Beth had a dentist appointment at 11:30am for a cleaning. The doctor's office called again and said my iron was low and to take a multiple vitamin. I asked for a copy of the results and Beth picked them up on her way home. My iron count was lower than it was last year at this time and I am taking double iron pills. So I will call them on Monday and talk with the doctor as to what we do next. But good news is my cholesterol was only 165 and had come 40 point from a year ago, so the 10 mg is working. we had to pick up Rylee from school, as Dawn and Jo had their walk thought. The still have some things to do and will finish up on Monday, but they will go ahead and close tomorrow and can move stuff in tomorrow and Saturday. So we had burgers and dog for dinner and Dawn and Jo are at Lowe's getting a few things for the house.

Four more years...

I went to bed early last night and woke to a great day. We get to keep Obama for 4 more years and I am happy about that, so enough said. We took showers and had breakfast. We were going to a 12 pm showing of Wreck it Ralph. It was just OK and I don't wish to see it again. We then went to BJ's for some lunch and shopping. We were getting several things for food drives and for donations to the storm. We finally finished up and it was really starting to rain and get cold. We came home and unloaded everything and watched some more election coverage. Dawn and Rylee got home around 4:30 pm and Jo got home around 6 pm. We had leftovers for dinner and cleaned out the fridge. So we will see if we wake up to snow in the morning.

Election Day...

I got up at 6:30 am this morning. Jo went to vote early and we were watching Rylee until she got up and then we took her over to Jo's mom. She was spending the day with her cousins. After dropping her off around 9:30 am, we both went to vote. There were only 2 people ahead of us, so the wait was nothing. After voting, we went to the mall and did a little shopping. We went back to the voting polls and got hoagies from the Boy  Scouts, who sell then every year. We had then for brunch and they were really good. I finished folding the clothes and putting them away, and Beth cut the front yard. It was really cold out today, and they are calling for snow tomorrow and a low of 27 degrees tonight. So nothing on TV tonight except early predictions on the voting, so I think I will turn in early.

Rylee sick again...

I got up at 8 am this morning and took a shower. I got a test from Jo saying Rylee got sick in the car and she was on her way home. She got Rylee cleaned up and she seemed to be better. I had to leave to go give blood for my check up. When I got home, Rylee was feeling much better and Dawn was on her way home. I had to go to Target, Best Buy, and the grocery store. I got home a little after 11 am and Jo was on her way to work. We all had some lunch and Rylee took a nap. I started laundry and got caught up on my TV programs. I put a roast, potato, and carrots on for dinner. Beth went out and picked up all the branches from the yard. It was really cold out today. I think we have skipped fall and went right into the winter weather. The high for the next couple of days in only in the upper 30's and we will dip into the 20's Wednesday night. Dawn and Jo will close on their house Friday and are looking forward to moving into their new house. It will be nice for everyone to get back to normal.

Another football Sunday...

With daylight savings time, we were all up early except Rylee. She was asleep until 9 am which was late for her. We took showers and Dawn, Jo, and Rylee headed out to go have Rylee's birthday pictures taken. Maggie, Kyle, and Payton came over to clean out the trailer so we could use it Thursday to move some of Dawn's stuff. Beth and I settled in to watch football. Dawn text to say they were going to the new house and Beth went along to see. I was content to watch football at home. I fixed ribs, fry  and baked beans for dinner and it was really good.

Forgot...

I remembered last night after I was already in bed, that I did not do the blog. So here it is. We got up yesterday morning and went to IKEA. Dawn and Jo were looking for a TV table for their new house. They found alot move and we finally left around 3pm. I watched some football and Beth went to church around  5:30pm. We changed our clock back and are all eady for daylight saving time.

Back Normal...

We got up around 8:30 am and everything was working correctly. We were back to normal and it felt good. I went to cleaning the house and Beth went out to work in the garage and outside. I took a shower and headed to Reading. I was hungry for ribs and Beth wanted steak for dinner. I then stopped at Chipotle for lunch. I was back home around 1:45 pm and we had lunch. Dawn and Rylee came home around 4:45 pm and Rylee had a quick dinner. Jo was home around 5:30 pm and the all left to go to a friend's house trick or treating. I fixed dinner and we spent the rest of the evening watching TV.

We have cable...

I woke up this morning and Beth said that the cable guy was looking at the line. He climbed the pole, did some tinkering, and came back down. He was on the phone when the guy across the street came to talk to him. I saw the cable guy make a circle with his hands and then the left. About 3 minutes later the cable guy left and we still had no cable. I made cupcakes for Rylee to take to school tomorrow.  So Beth left around 10 to go to church. I turned the TV on and the channel came on. The I checked the phone and we had a dial tone. So it was off to computer and we had cable. It was a great day. Beth came home and we had lunch. We then left to go run some errands and up to check on her parent's place. We saw alot of downed trees on the way. We came home around 3pm and I worked on Rylee's cupcakes. Dawn and Rylee came home around 5pm and I fixed dinner. We had french toast, hash browns, and bacon. So now it is off to watch the football game and thankful we have cable.

Happy Halloween

Our lights have been off since about 10 pm Monday nights. Jo's parents fed us dinner and let us use their shower yesterday. Jo, dawn, and rylee stayed the night there as they had to go to work today. We came home and lite candles and Ireland and Beth played on the laptop. We went to bed around 9:30pm and the lights came back on around 12:30am. I got up to shut everything off and went back to bed. I was back up at 6:30am an it was so nice to have heat and not have to worry about flushing the potty. We did not have ant cable, Internet, or phone service. We called and got the standard answer of it will that a week. So hope we have it in time for the football game tomorrow night. We went down for rylee's Halloween parade at school and came home. It was really cold out and the windy was still blowing. We had dinner and then took rylee trick or treating to her new neighbor. There were a lot of kids out and rylee had a great time.

Stormy day...

We got up at 7 am this morning. Dawn and Jo had called into work and stayed home. It was just starting to rain and there were times of some big wind gusts. We went to see Dr. Bill at 9 am and there was little traffic. We made it back home and the rain was beginning to pick up. The wind started picking up around 4 pm and we already had 2 1/2 inches of rain. The worst was going to be here around 10 pm until 2 am and I figure if we are going to lose our lights it will be during that time. We are glad we will be able to see MNF at least the start of it and we will see it it makes it til the end. We will try to post some kind of update on facebook to let everyone know how we are doing.

Start of the storm...

We got up around 8am this morning. Jo fixed us waffles and they were good. I took a shower and headed out to AC Moore. I needed a few specific things for some scrapbook pages I am working on. I then went to Target trying to avoid the grocery store which was packed. I was able to get everything, but water. So off to the little grocery store and did get an extra case of water, but the shelves were low on water. I came home and Beth and Dawn had been to Best Buy getting a new TV for there new house and got a good deal. We all settled in to watch the Eagles lose but another game. I think more changes are on the way for this team. The rain has been light most of the day and the big stuff will be coming in the early morning. Most schools are closed and we will see if Dawn and Jo go to work tomorrow. I sure it will be a different sight in the morning. We have filled a large cooler with water for flushing in case we lose power, so we are all ready for the full force to hit tomorrow.

Ready for the storm...

I got up at 8am this morning. Dawn had a haircut at 7am and Jo wanted to see Dr. Karen for an adjustment, so I watched Rylee. We had a great time and Aunt Beth got up and we all had breakfast together. Dawn and Jo came home around 9:30 am and left again with Rylee to go shopping at the outlet mall. Beth and I went outside and finished putting things away and getting things set for the big storm. I then went downstairs to work in the scrapbook room and Beth watched TV upstairs. Dawn, Jo, and Rylee came home around 4 pm and lot of purchases. Beth went to church and Jo fixed dinner. It was a great meal of London broil, noodles, and carrots. The storm is expected to hit some time late Sunday early Monday, so bring it on as we are ready for it.

Prep for the storm..

We got up around 8:30 am this morning. we had breakfast and I took a shower. we wanted to get as much done as we could with the storm coming on Sunday and lasting all week. I checked the gutters and then seem to be fine. We moved all the trash cans inside the garage and will move the play set to the side of the house. We are not sure what all we will get, but it is coming and we will be hit hard with snow, rain, wind, and who know what else. I then went to Target to get a few things and then went to the grocery store for a few things. The bug guy came and said we were fine and that our regular guy should be here next time. I then worked in the scrapbook room until Dawn and Rylee got home around 4:15 pm. We ordered pizza and it only cost us 95 cents since we had 2 coupons. Maggie came by to get the trailer for racing tomorrow, Dawn and Beth went to get the pizzas, and Jo came home from work. We then watched the new Tinkerbell movie and it was really good. Rylee is now in bed and we are resting watching TV.

Storm is a coming...

We got up at 8am this morning. We had some breakfast and then took s shower. I had some deviled eggs and toast to see how I felt afterward and I felt pretty good. we left and had several errands to do. We had to drop off the magazines at the recycle, then on to Verizon to get Beth's phone checked out, to Best Buy to get the new Tinkerbell movie, and then to the grocery store. We were back home around 1pm and had lunch. Again I tried a bologna sandwich and still felt good. I working in the scrapbook room most of the afternoon. I fixed tacos for dinner and felt it was a true test of my stomach. I had 3 soft shell tacos and things were pretty good. So I think I am back to normal. Yea...

Doctor appointment...

I woke up at 8 am this morning. I knew I had a doctor's appointment, but could not remember what time and Rylee was already in bed. So I got up to check and sure enough it was at 9 am. So I took a shower and wrote down all the meds I am taking and was out the door by 8:45 am. Everything was fine and she gave me a sheet of things she wanted to check with my blood work. I did get the refills on the meds I needed and more. I have to schedule a mammogram and a poop test. But all in in it was alright. I came home and Dawn was still sleeping. Beth was getting ready to go outside to pick up poop , so she could mow later. The dew had been really wet the last several mornings and I will be glad when the grass is done for the year. I had to go to WAWA to get gas and milk. Beth started on the back and was done as soon as I got home. She finished the front yard and came inside. I had emptied all the pot on the wall and set them behind the pool pump for the winter. I have a couple more plants on the back deck, but they are still blooming so they get to stay awhile. We had left over chicken and rice for dinner, so we will see how I feel in about an hour.

Lazy Day...

We did not get up until 9am this morning. We had some breakfast and just sat around. I never took a shower until noon and Beth took hers later. We did got to the store for a few things, but came right. So today was a lazy day for us. The weather is a gloomy, grey, yucky, day.

Errands Day...

We got up around 8:30am this morning. The lawn man was spreading fertilizer and Buster was not happy about it. So we got up and had some breakfast. We took showers and I headed out. I had to go to staples to get some photo paper and I had a coupon. I then went to AC Moore to look for a picture frame and they did not have the size I needed. So I went to Michael's  and found the size I needed. I then came home and Beth had already left. She went to the cemetery and then to her parents house. She got home around 3pm. Dawn and Rylee came home around 4:15pm. The had to go to the house and look at more flooring, so we had dinner around 5:30pm. So we meet Jo at the house and they looked at floor and Rylee and I walked around outside. We were walking on the sidewalk and Rylee said ' I have to pee'. So we walked a little fast to the house and she is making this sound and I said  'What are you doing' and she said 'Peeing on the sidewalk'. I say OH NO...RUN. So we made it to the house in time and made it to the potty. So we came home and Rylee had a bath and then Jo ate dinner. We are now watching the Bear and Lions football game as Dawn is a Lion's fan.

Pumpkin patch..

I woke up around 4:30 am with the most several bladder ache ever. I thought I was getting a bladder infection and I guess I was right. I was able to drink a small bottle of cranberry juice, but had to wait for it too work and that was hell. I felt like I had to pee but nothing was there. I finally slept for about an hour and then peed again and it was a little better. So I am on cranberry juice from now on until I see the doctor on Wednesday. We had cinnamon rolls for breakfast and Dawn and Jo had to go pick out new tile for the new house as the one they wanted was no longer being made. We watched Rylee and played outside for a bit. When they came back we went to the pumpkin patch and took a hay ride, got pumpkins, and played on hay bales. It was alot of fun. We then came home and watched the remaining football games, as the Eagles had a bye week. Jo made a great dinner of check steak in the crock pot with mashed potatoes. Yum Yum and we have enough for seconds.

Hockey....

We got up at 6:15 am this morning and took showers. We left the house around 7:30 and headed to Jojo hockey game. They did better than I thought and seemed to have fun. We left and came home around 9:30am. Maggie had my computers done and we went to pick them up after stopping at Lowe's. My tower got a new hard drive and runs so much faster, but the laptop is dead and not really worth putting a new hard drive in. So I sat up the computer in the scrapbook room and had to install the printer and a couple of other things, but was off and printing again. I spent the rest of the afternoon scrapbooking and watching football. Dawn, Jo, and Rylee came home around 5pm from see the boys, The made dinner and we ate after Beth came back from church. I am ready for bed as it has been a long day,

Movie night...

We got a phone call at 7:30am this morning. The guy would be here to fix the water pipe around noonish. So we got up since we were already awake. We had breakfast and took showers.  I had to go out to wal-mart and then to JoAnn's fabric. We needed to get a piece of material to cover Rylee's window, so the sun does not shine so bright in the mornings. So I got it put up and it is dark in there now. The guy finally came around 2pm and fixed the pipe. Dawn called around and said she was out the new house and they had done alot of work. So we went up and checked it out and they had alot done. We took Buster to the groomer and then had pizza and a movie night. We watched The Little Mermaid and Rylee liked it. We are getting up early tomorrow to watch Jojo play hockey.

Rylee sick...

We got up around 7:30am this morning. Jo was taking Rylee to the allergist this morning, so she would leave the house around 8:15am. So after they left, I got on the computer for my morning routine and Beth was watching TV.  Beth's phone rang and it was Jo saying she was on her way back as Rylee got sick in the car. So after Rylee got a bath and redressed , Jo cleaned out her car. I had made Beth some eggs and Rylee wanted some cheesy eggs. So I made her some and she ate them all. She seemed to be fine and kept the eggs down. We told Jo to go ahead and go to work and we would watch her. So Jo waited another half hour and Rylee was till fine, so she went to work. Rylee had a sandwich for lunch and then took a nap around 1:30pm. Dawn came home around 4pm and Rylee was still sleeping. Dawn finally woke her up a little after 5pm. She was feeling better, but said her nose was stuffy. We had chicken pot pie for dinner and it was really good. So today was a good day spent with Rylee and having some fun.

A little cold...

We got up around 8:30 am this morning. We had some breakfast and I took a shower. Beth went out to cut the grass as it really needed it. I will be glad when grass cutting is done. I worked on mom's calendar until 3:30 pm. I had to go take Kyle to his therapy appointment. Dawn came by to pick up Beth and they went to go pick out some hardware for the house. Dawn was really picking out, Beth went along for support. It was a little chill all day here. I finally had to put on long pants and a pull over. Not liking it very well and hope summer comes soon.

Laundry Day...

We got up around 8 am this morning. We had an appointment to see our financial adviser at 10 am. After an hour of taking to him and changing some stuff, we headed home. I started laundry and talked to my mom. Beth headed out around 12:30 pm to go see a movie. I finished laundry, caught up on my TV programs, and played on the computer. Beth came home around 3:30 pm and said the movie was just OK and she was the only one in the theater. Dawn and Rylee came in around 4:30 pm and Jo got home around 6 pm. we had dinner and settled in for the evening.

lIGHT FINALLY WORK...

We got up st 7:30am this morning as we had appointments with Dr.  Bill at 9am. After Dr. Bill we came home and I started pulling weeds from the back flower bed. The guy came to fix the light in the kitchen for a third time. I was outside for about an hour and came inside expecting the lights to be all fixed and they were not. So I guess it was not the transformer that was the problem. So now they it is a short in the line. Come On Man. So then we had to wait for a helper to show up so they could rerun the line. So after 4 trips, 2 news parts, a rerun of the wire and god know what the finally charge will be, the light is finally working. I spent the rest of the day, catching up on my TV shows I missed last week and editing the Disney Photo pass pictures. Dawn and Rylee came home around 4:45pm. I made chicken and cheese quesadilas for dinner. Jo came home around 7pm and now it is time for some MNF.

Oh those Eagles...

Beth was up and at church by 8 am. I crawled out of bed around 8:30 am. Dawn, Jo, and Rylee were already up and playing games. I took a shower and finished unpacking everything from the Disney trip. Beth came home and left around 11 am to go to Best Buy and the store. I wanted to put a chicken on the rotisserie for dinner and Beth wanted to get a router extension for downstairs. The Eagle played at 1 pm and lost of course. Dawn is a Lions fan, so she was happy for the win. We had dinner and it was very good. Rylee is taking a bath and Dawn and Beth are cleaning the kitchen. So I am doing the blog before Rylee goes to bed as I don't expect much more to happen today. Vacation was nice, but I am sure glad to be home.

Home

We were up at 4am this morning, but Payton was up at 2:26am. He was ready to go home and very excited. We finished packing and called for a bell hop to help us with our luggage. We were able to catch an early bus to the airport and had some breakfast. We were on our way home at 9am and landed at 11:15am. We dropped off Maggie and Payton and took Buster home. We spent the rest of the day watching football and talking with our new roomies. Jo made us dinner and it was really good. We are now ready for bed as it has been a long day.

Day 7 of Payton's Big Mickey Adventure

A day of rest it was for me.we got up around 9am this morning. Beth and Payton headed to magic kingdom to ride rides all day long. Maggie and I worked on packing and just resting. Beth text around 4pm to say they were on their way bak. We dinner downstairs at 5 pm. After dinner, we came back upstairs and settled in for the evening. We will be getting up around 4am to finishing packing and get our checked in by6 am. We have had a great time with payton and maggie at Disney.

Day 6 of Payton's Big Mickey Adventure

We slept in until 8:30am this morning. We had cereal for breakfast and then headed shopping at downtown Disney. We were able to complete a lot of our Christmas shopping and had it shipped home. We then came back to the hotel and had some lunch then took a nap. We headed over to magic kingdom for the Not So Scary Halloween Party. We were able to in to Liberty Tree Tavern for dinner. After that it was off to the Haunted Mansion for photos and the ride. Beth and Payton rode it again for a total of 5 times. We then headed to Main Street for the fireworks which were great and the the parade. We stopped by a couple of stands for trick or treat goodies and it was off to ride more rides. We finally made it back to the room around 12:30 am. It is a good thing that tomorrow is a nothing planned day. It is our last day in disney and will head home early Saturday morning.

Payton's Big Mickey Adventure Day 5

We got up around 7:30 am and caught the boat over to the contemporary and took the monorail to have breakfast with stitch. Payton had a great time in the parade and a great breakfast. We came back to the room for an afternoon of rest. I did a couple loads of laundry and Payton went swimming. We then all took a nap until 5pm. We headed back to magic kingdom to see the parade and the fireworks. Beth and Payton even rode the haunted mansion ride twice. It is now his favorite ride. We got back to the room around 11 pm and we are so ready for bed. We get to sleep in late and do some shopping at downtown Disney tomorrow. Then it is the Halloween party tomorrow night.

Day 4 of Payton's big adventure

We decided to sleep In a little this morning. We took showers and had breakfast in the room. We left around 10:30am to go to EPCOT instead of Hollywood studios. We and got a fast pass for Sornin since the wait time was 70 minutes. We then went on finding memo and talk time with crush. Payton loved looking at all the fish, sharks, and the turtle. We then did the figment ride and got our picture on the green screen background and had it set to finding memo. We then took the boat back to the countries to try and get our picture with beauty and the beast. We found out that the beast is no longer there, but is now at magic kingdom. So we went back up front to do some more rides before heading to dinner. We had a fast pass for the same time as dinner and was able to change it to an earlier on and able to do Sornin. Payton loved the ride and wanted to go again. We had dinner at the garden grill and saw Mickey, Pluto, and chip and dale. We then did living with the land before heading to mission space. Payton had waited all day to do that ride. It was time to catch the bus back home and are ready for bed. Tomorrow is a rest day thank god

Day 3 of Payton's big adventure

We slept until 8 am. We took showers and went to have some breakfast in the cafe.
We then took the boat to magic kingdom. We stopped and got payton and mags their ears. We then got our picture taken several times at different parts of the park. Everything is decorated in the fall colors and look really cool. We then several rides and loved them all. He did not want to go to the haunted mansion, so it took him on the It's. a small world and Beth and Maggie went on the haunted mansion. We meet them after we were done. After talking to his mom about the ride, Payton wanted to go on it. So we got in line for the haunted mansion and he rode with aunt Beth. He now loves this ride and wants to go again. So next was splash mountain and big thunder railroad while I waited for them. Yea I am am a scared cat and will admit it but I did have fun people watching. It was so darn humid and no wind what so ever. It was 86 degrees and the humidity was 92 percent. We were able to get on most ride with a 10 minute wait or less. We did some shopping and headed to the crystal palace for dinner. It was starting to rain and we only had a 10 minute wait. We were all very hungry,but did not know it until we sat done to eat. Payton got to see and all the pooh characters and we then took the boat home. It is now time for showers and a little rest time.

Payton's Big Adventure Day 2

We got up around 7am this morning and headed to animal kingdom for breakfast. We took pictures with Donald and Daisy Duck, goofy, and Mickey Mouse. We then took the safari and saw lots of animals. We then headed to see the finding memo performance. Payton really enjoyed it and had a good time. Then it was onto Dino land for a couple of rides. Payton really disappointed that he was not tall enough for the roller coster. We then went to see a bug's life. Payton did not like the spiders but loved everything else. We asked Payton if he wanted to stay for the parade or go swimming and he said swimming. We had a long hot day and swimming sounder good. So off to the bus we went. We changed into our suits and hit the pool and the water was a little cool,but the hot tub felt nice. Payton put on a life jacket and went swimming in the big pool. He had a great time and love the kids pool and the friends he made. We had some dinner and came back to the room. We were going to go to magic kingdom, but we were all too tired. So it is a night in and off again tomorrow.

Payton's Big Mickey Adventure Day 1

This going to be short & sweet, we made it to Disney and dinner at the T-Rex restaurant. Payton's eyes nearly popped out of his head when he saw the giant dinosaur skeleton outside. He knew the name of every dinosaur they had there. After dinner he built a dinosaur, same company as build a bear. The bad news is Jeanette's laptop died and we cannot download pictures to my iPad from the cameras and Maggie didn't bring her laptop. So pictures will have to wait until we get home.

Ready to go...

We were up at 8 ma this morning. We took showers and headed to Dawn and Jo's house. We helped them pack up stuff, patch holes, and moves stuff until 4 pm today. They are in good shape and ready for the movers to arrive at 9 am tomorrow. Beth cut the grass when we got home and I finished packing and cleaning. We are now all ready to go to Disney and looking forward to it.

House is clean and ready to go...

we got up around 8:30 am this morning and started packing the suit cases and getting things ready to go. We had some lunch and went to see Dr. Bill around 2:45 pm. We then went to Lowe's and came home. Beth took Buster to the groomer and I went to pick up Rylee. When we got home, Rylee and I played outside until it was time for me to make dinner. Jo came to pick up Rylee around 7 pm and we will miss her since we will be at Disney next week. So the house is all clean and we are all packed, so it is time for some football.

Meralgia Paresthetica

We got up around 9 am this morning. We had some breakfast and took showers. I started laundry so we could finish packing for Disney. I had a follow up appointment at the doctor's office at 12:30 pm. He said the test only showed some mild arthritis in my back and nothing else. He said I might have Meralgia Paresthetica which is a fancy word for a pinched nerve on the thigh. I need to lose weight to see if it goes away first and then look at other options if it does not. So for now that is all I know. So we came home and finished laundry and was able to get most of the packing done. Kim and Jojo came by for a visit and then Dawn and Rylee got here just as they left. Jo came by around 6:15 pm and we had dinner. we went over how things work and where to find things while we are gone. The left around 8ish to go home.

Fall cleaning...

We woke this morning to a rainy gloomy day. we had already had about an inch of rain and no sign of it stopping. We did not have breakfast as we did not get up until almost 10:15 am. So we took showers and starting cleaning the house. Beth worked on the downstairs most of the day and I did the upstairs. I only have the kitchen left and no use working on it until Thursday. The rain continued all day long and finally did stop around 6pm. Just in time for me to fix dinner on the grill. I go to the doctor tomorrow to get the results of the MRI and the EMG.

Count down time...

We had to get up at 8 am this morning. The guy was coming to check the water softener between 9:30 am and 11:30 am. So we took showers and had some breakfast. I left around 9:15 am to go to BJ's wholesale club. It was a fast trip as there was hardly anyone there. I then went to Costco to see if they had Excedrin Migraine pill and they had no Excedrin at all. I came home and unloaded the truck. It was around 11 am and the guy was not here yet. Beth was cleaning the garage waiting for him. I then went to Target to get my vitamin c and Excedrin Migraine pills. I found the vitamin c, but again no Excedrin at all. I thought this was very strange. So I went to the grocery store and came home. The guy was still not here, so we had lunch. Beth said she would call as soon as we were done with lunch, since it was a hour pass when they said they would be here. We of course we just sat done and here comes the guy. Beth let him in downstairs and he did his thing and we had lunch. After he left, Beth cut the grass. I cleaned the living room and dining room before going to get my hair cut and colored. I made steak fajitas for dinner and they were really good. It is now time for MNF and time to watch the big screen.

Payton visit...

Beth was up and at church by 8 am. I got up around 8:45 am and took a shower. We had breakfast and I cleaned out the fridge. I then cleaned the kitchen and gathered all the trash. We loaded up the big screen TV and set it out for the trash man in hope they will take it. It was then time for kickoff. Since the Eagles played on the Sunday night game, we were able to watch the redzone all day. Maggie came over to work on Payton's car and Payton came in to visit with us. we talked about the Disney trip and things to do. Maggie left before the 4 pm games started and we had a great visit with Payton. We are now hoping the Eagles can pull off a win against the Gaints.

Another moving day...

We were up at 8am this morning. We had breakfast and I took a shower. I left to go pick up Kyle around 9:25 pm and Beth went to the bank and then meet us at Dawn and Jo's house. We proceeded to get the fridge loaded. We put it on the fridge on the dolly and found the dolly weighted more than the fridge and we could not get it up the steps. So we took it off the dolly and just carried up the stairs and loaded it into the truck. We loaded a few more things to take to Jo's parents house and headed out. It was easy to get the fridge into the basement and got it all hooked up. We then left and I took Kyle to the race track as his hand hurt and he could not cut grass. Beth went back to Dawn and Jo's for another load to the storage shed and came home. We both ended up taking a well needed nap. It was a cold cloudy fall type day and stayed that way all day. We headed back to Jo's parents house for dinner and had a great time visiting. One week from tonight and we will be in Disney.

EMG not so bad...

We got up around 8 am this morning. I made breakfast and we took showers. Beth cleaned out the closet in the guest room and I waited. I had my EMG at 12:30 pm and  I was a littler nervous. We left around 12:15 pm. We got right in, which is good, cause I am not good at waiting for things like this. The first test was to put little tabs on my feet and then use a thing that looked like a taser gun and shot different part of each leg and watch my feet jump. It did not hurt, just felt a little funny. Then the next test, was to poke different part of my right leg with a needle and then flex certain part of my leg. The needle pricks did not really hurt. Getting pricked with the holly leaves hurt a whole lot more. So the test was over in about 40 minutes. I was truly not as bad as I had thought and only hurt a 3 on the 1 to 10 meter. But I am SOOOO glad it is done. We then went to Dawn and Jo's house to help them do some packing. They are making good progress and have about 80% done. Jo and I went to go pick up Rylee from school around 4 pm and Dawn, Beth, and Dawn's dad loaded up some stuff and took it to the storage locker. We meet them at the new hose and did a walk through of what they have done so far. The have some electrical and plumbing  done, but still have along ways to go. But at least they are working on it. My legs are a little jumpy and sore, but that is to be expected. So I think I will take one of the good sleeping pill tonight.

Laundry day...

We go up to a rainy morning and very humid. We had breakfast and then showers. I went downstairs and started walking on the tread mill. I have been trying to get 20 minutes a night in, but my back and leg are feeling the pain. we had some lunch and I took Beth to the post office and to CVS. I did 3 loads of laundry and will do towels tomorrow. I have my EMG tomorrow and I am not looking forward to it all.

Getting ready...

We got up around 8am this morning. We had breakfast and took showers. I went to Wal-mart and got a couple of tubs and a few other things. I stopped by Dawn and Jo's new house and they were working away. I came home and we had lunch. Beth put the bears in tubs and put them in the attic. We then cleaned out the office and dusted everything. So two rooms are ready for our roomies to move in. We still have a few more things to, but will get to them this week. Next week is packing and getting ready for Disney.

Getting Ready for Fall...

Boy oh boy was it cold when we got up this morning. We had the windows open and were looking for a jacket. We had breakfast and showers. We then went outside to clean out the shed and put all the summer things away. We moved some of the stuff out of the garage, but that the garage will require more time to clean. We came in around 1:30pm and had some lunch. The pool fairies came to close down and cover the pool. I am glad it will be covered before Rylee gets here, so no worries with her playing outside. I made chicken and biscuits for dinner and it was ready good on a chill night. I had the put the brown spread on the bed as fall is here.

MOVING DAY...

We got up around 7:30, took showers, and were out the door by 8:45am to see Dr. Bill. He wants me to give him a copy of the finds when I get them for his files. We came home and had some breakfast. Kyle decided he sis not want to help today, so we left for Dawn and Jo's house around 9:45am. I had my truck and Beth had the caddy. We worked on getting everything out of the shed and took it to their storage unit. We made 2 trip, but got everything over there. We came home and had some lunch and went back with just the truck, we loaded Rylee's car, picnic table, and the 8-1 gym climber. We finished up around 4pm. Beth cut the back yard and I made her steak for dinner. we are now ready to relax and watch MNF.

Bad day for the Eagles...

Beth got up a little late this morning and made it to church a little late. I got up and took a shower and made breakfast. we ate as soon as Beth got home. We left around 9:45am to go to Dawn and Jo's house. We helped them move some stuff to the storage shed. We went over the stuff we will be moving tomorrow. We were back home around 11:45pm. we had a quick lunch and went downstairs to watch football on the big screen. The Eagles did not play until 4pm, so we watched the red zone for the first games. I was glad the Chiefs were able to come back and beat the Saints. Then it was time for the Eagles vs. Cardinals game. It was a ugly for the Eagles and they played very very bad. Beth was not happy the rest of the day. We will be seeing Dr. Bill at 9am tomorrow and then picking up Kyle to help us move some stuff.

Another football Saturday...

We got up around 9am this morning. We had breakfast and I took a shower. Beth got dressed and went to the post office and the bank. She brought lunch home with her and we watched some football. She went out to cut the grass and I worked on scrapbooking and watched more football. Beth was going to make dinner, but since it took her longer to cut grass, I made it. It was only tacos, so it was fast and easy. So now it is time to settle in and watch some more football on the big screen. Mom the numbers are around 135 at night and 130 in the morning.

All set...

We were woke up by a phone call at 8am this morning. It was our buddy wanting to come over and get some information on the light. So I got up and got dressed. He was here about 20 minutes later and got what he needed. They of course have to order the part, so it will be at least a week. We then took showers and had breakfast. Beth went to go get her hair cut around 12;30pm. She was back home around 1:30pm and we had some lunch. We had an appointment at 3pm to see our AAA rep and get Beth's trip set up. We book a 7 day stay at Universal Studios in Florida. We are going to see the Blue man group while there and go to Sea World. It should be a fun trip. I even think we will go to downtown Disney one day. Maggie came by around 7pm to pick up the trailer and we chatted about the Disney trip. Payton wants to see Donald Duck and we are having breakfast him on Sunday. So we are very excited for that trip and hope Payton has a good time. Beth had been taking her blood sugar count every morning and every night. There is not much change in the reading from night time to morning time. I don't know what that means, but I don't think that is good. So we will keep tracking it and see what happens.

Packing time...

We got up around 9am this morning. We have got to learn to get up earlier and waste the day away. We had breakfast and took showers. Beth had a couple of errands to run and I played on the computer. After lunch, we started talking about what she wanted to do for her 50th birthday. We looked at several cruise options and none of them really hit her. So after talking over several option, she had chosen to go to Universal Studios in Florida. We have never been there, so we have alot to research. Beth went to AAA to get some information and we sill begin planning the trip. We left around 3:30pm to go pick up Rylee. She was so excited to see us and glad we picked her up. We came back to the house for about a hour and then ordered pizzas to take to their house. Dawn and Beth packed up some stuff while Rylee and I played and took a tubbie. My job was to keep her out of the way of the packing going on, so I got to spend alot of time with her. Yea Me. We watched the first half of the football game then came home. It was a great day.

Sweets be gone...

We had to get up at 7am this morning. I took a shower and Beth just got dressed. The guy came to fix the lights and I had to go to the dentist. It was a successful cleaning and I left there and went to the bank. I came home to find the lights were still not working. They now have to order another part and who know if that will fix it. So I went to the grocery store and to Target to get a blood sugar reader for Beth. We are going to start measuring it to see where she is at every day. We had some lunch and really did nothing the rest of the day. Beth is still trying to decide what she wants to do for her 50th birthday and thinks it is going to be a cruise.

Rain Rain...

We woke up around 9:30am this morning. I was done feeling loopy and glad to be back to my old self. I made breakfast and took showers. It was raining and looked to be that way all day. I had to go to Bed Bath and Beyond and then to GNC. I was back home around noon and we had lunch. We watched the DVD we got the other day on the Galapagos islands and decided that should be our next trip. We then watched the Adele concert DVD. They both looked really nice on the big screen. Beth was suppose to go meet her brothers up by the ranch, but decided not to. The wind was blowing really hard and raining cats and dogs. So I made chicken and vegetables for dinner. The finally let up around 7pm and we had over 3 inches. I have to see the dentist at 9am tomorrow, let's hope it is still good news. 

MRI day...

We were up around 5:30am this morning. We took showers and headed out around 6:45am. I took my pill right before we got there and got checked in. I had to change and remove my shorts, shirt, and bra. I got onto the table and I could feel the pill taking effect. The MRI was not as bad as I expected. I was in the tube around 20 minutes and the test was over. I did get ear plugs, but the noise remained me of techo music. I waited out front until the CD was ready . The tech guy said it was a little grainy, but was readable. Makes me wonder if I will have to do it over.  I came home and called the doctor's office and was able to schedule a following up appointment. I have to wait until the EMG is done to meet with them, but will see them before we leave for Disney. By not my head was really feeling loopy. Beth called it be stoned. All I know is that is was not a good feeling. I went to lay down and took a 2 hour nap. I got up around 2pm and was still feeling loopy. I had some lunch and laid in the chair the rest of the afternoon. I fixed some dinner and was staring to feel a little better. All I know is that I don't think I will be taking those pill again.

Sunday football...

We both slept until 9:30am. we had some breakfast and took showers. I made ham roll ups and got everything ready for fondue. We headed downstairs to watch football. The Eagles did not play well, but still won again. We had cheese fondue with apples, carrots, and bread. It was so good and we were able to watch the football game. We were so happy for the Eagles win and look forward to next week's game against mom's team. After the 4pm games were over, we went upstairs and had leftovers for dinner. I had everything cleaned up and ready to go by the kickoff of the 8pm game. We will not be able to watch all of the game as we have to be up at 5:30am to be at the MRI place by 7am. Not how I wanted to start my week.

Last party at the rhotini's

We got up around 9am this morning. I made bacon and eggs for breakfast and then took showers. I work on my pictures and found I might have a virus on the external hard drive. I am getting some weird messages, so we will see. College football came on at noon, so I went downstairs to watch it. I found a new channel called ESPN goal line. I was suppose to be like the red zone for college football, but I was not impressed. I also found I could not get a couple of channel on the TV in the scrapbook room, but could get them on the big screen. So something else to look into. We left to go to Dawn and Jo's house as they were have last party before packing up the house for the move. It was kinda sad, but they are looking forward to moving to the new house.

Big chances...

Beth was up and on her way to the doctor by 7:45am. I got up around 8am and took a shower. I left to go to Ikea around 9am. It only took me about 40 minutes to get there and they did not open until 10am. So I went to BJ's to get a few items I needed. By that time Ikea was open and I was able to exchange the light for the correct one. I had to stop byf CVS and pick up my meds for Monday. I got home and fixed lunch. Beth told me what the doctor said and we made to make big chance. She needs to lose weight, like the both of us do, and she had to reduce her numbers. So Monday is a new way for use and we will have to stay on track. I picked up Kyle at 3pm so he could cut the grass and weed whack. I took him home around 4:30pm and we had dinner around 6pm. Beth is watching the Phillies on the big screen and loving every minute of it.

Pool work...

We got up around 8am this morning. We had breakfast and got dressed. We went outside to work on the pool area. We rolled up the solar cover, picked up all the cushions and umbrellas, deflated all the pool toys, and threw some stuff away. The pool area looks so bare now. The pool will be closed the end of this month. I call and got my MRI and EMG scheduled. The MRI is schedule for 7:30am Monday. What a way to start the week. We finished up and came in for lunch. After lunch, Beth went out to cut the grass. Kyle will be over tomorrow night to do the back yard. I had to go to Lowe's to get some more insect stuff for the weeping cherry tree. We took showers and I started dinner around 5:30pm. Dawn and Rylee got here around 5:45pm and we had dinner. Rylee is in the potty training stage and loves wearing big girl panties. She had a couple of accidents and told us she was peeing, which is too late then. It is a process. We are watching the Bears/Packers game on the big screen.

Back problems...

We got up around 8:30am this morning. We had breakfast and took showers. I had a doctor appointment at 1pm and had to be there a little early for paper work. Beth had to stay home as Jeff was come by for some stuff. I explained to the doctor all the problems I have had the last 3 years with my feet and back and that my right leg was numb from my hip to my knee. He took some x-rays and determined I need to have an MRI and an EMG done. So I have to schedule them tomorrow. After dinner, we had to go to Wal-mart and Giant. Giant had London broil on sale by one get one free and whole chicken for 99 cents. I saved 70 buck by stocking up. Yea me. Mom we are going to be working outside tomorrow morning, so I may miss your call. I will just call you went we come inside. Tomorrow is the first Thursday night football game and we can't wait. Football on Monday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday. It don't get much better than that.

Outlet shopping...

We got up around 8:30am this morning. We had breakfast and took showers. I ran to Best Buy as the printer was out of black ink and will not print a thing with out it. Also Snow White and the Huntsman came out on DVD and wanted to get a copy. We then went to the out let mall. I notice that the more we walked the more my leg went numb. We went to the Yankee Candle outlet, Disney Outlet, and then to Ruby Tuesday for lunch. I called the doctor when we got home and have an appointment to see him tomorrow. Stay tune as this should be interesting.

Town meeting

We were up at 7:30am this morning as we had to see Dr. Bill at 9am. Gayle and Beth went to the ranch to fix a busted water line. it just so happens that it problem got worse when they tried to fix it and ended up having to replace a large section of pipe. They were back home around 4pm. I had to go to giant as I wanted to put a brisket on tomorrow. We had the township meeting to talk more our sewer issue. Permission was finally given and they will be paying for all the hook up fees, so it should not cost a dime to get our sewer hooked. So goo news for us. We are not watching the Monday night football double headed, so it will be a late night tonight.

Eagles Party...

Beth was up and at church by 8am and I was up and showered by the time she got home. we finished the final touches for the football party and had the food ready to go by kickoff. The Eagles looked really bad today, but got the victory anyway. It was a get time and the new TV was a big hit. Party guest are gone, trash is out, it now time to relax and watch the last game for today.

College football on the big screen...

We got up around 9am this morning. we had breakfast and took showers. I worked on the kitchen and Beth worked on taking down the tent we had on the back deck. We were suppose to get some high winds and heavy rain in the afternoon. Beth took Buster to the groomers and we settled in to watch college football on the new big screen with HD and it was great. Picture is so clear and bright. The rain rolled in fast and Beth had to go pick up Buster. She was able to make it back before the big stuff hit. It is bringing cooler weather with it for a few days. Tomorrow is our first football party of the new season and we are looking forward to it. Go Eagles.

Grocery Shopping All Day...

We got up at 7am this morning. The furnace guy was suppose to come between 8 and 12pm. I made egg and ham sandwiches for breakfast and then took my shower. Beth changed into work clothes. Beth went to pick up the HD cable box for the new TV. I left to go to Costco. I picked up a few things for the party Sunday and came home as I forgot my list for the grocery store. The furnace guy was here and said our furnace looked great and was not dirty at all. I left for the grocery store and pickup fried chicken for lunch. We had some lunch and Beth went out to cut grass. I left around 2:45pm to go pick Kyle, so he could cut the back yard. I dropped him off and then went to Zerns. I needed some round steak and got Beth some beef jerky. Beth had finished cutting grass and Kyle was almost done. Maggie came over to pick up the trailer and Kyle around 5pm. I fixed steak for dinner and then watched some college football. Beth hooked up the HD box, but is still not working. So will call the cable company tomorrow.

Sewer time

We watched all of the football game last night , so we did not get to bed until 1am. We slept until 9:45am and then had some breakfast. We took showers and then headed to the township building who in turn sent us to the waste management building. We talked to them about the sewer issue and the guy gave us what information he had on the plans. They are still in the planning stage and waiting for the approval which we will know on Monday. We spent the rest of the afternoon calling place to get some type of a general quote on the sewer line. It appears it will be between $3000 and $5500 to hook up to the main line. So until we have more infor or a time frame we have gone about as far as we can. We do have a guy coming out on Saturday to gives us quote. Dawn and Rylee came by for dinner and then DJ, Maggie, and the boys came by around 6pm. They were able to get Maggie's car fixed, so my truck is home. We finally had a day with no rain, so Kyle did the weed whacking tonight and will cut tomorrow.

Shopping again...

Beth was up and out the door by 8am. She has a doctor's appointment next week and had to give blood for it. I got up around 8:15 am and took a shower. Beth brought donuts home for breakfast. We had to unload the TV before we left. We backed the car into the garage and took the TV down the steps and onto the dolly. We had very little lifting and the process was better than taking it through the back door. We left around 9:30am to go back to Ikea. We had an idea of the TV stand we were looking for, but were open to other options. We looked around and found something we bother fell in love with and it was cheaper than original choice. We had some lunch and then unloaded the stand. It took us about 20 minutes to put it together, We then set the TV on the stand and then set it on the new stand we got. Boy did it look good. Beth got everything hooked and turned on. Dawn and Rylee stopped by for a few minutes before headed to Jo's parents for dinner. I had put a roast on and it was so tender you did not need a knife to cut it. We are not watching the first game of the season on the new big screen and enjoying every minute.

TV shopping..

Maggie called us at 7:10am this morning and was have car problems. She brought her car over and too my truck to work. The furnace guy was suppose to come and service the furnace, but they called and had to reschedule to Friday. Beth had an appointment to see her knee doctor at 10:30am, so I was able to go with her. He said she was doing great and to come back in 6 months. So we left there and went to Ikea to see what types of TV stance they had. We got some information on a couple we liked and then came home. We went to Best Buy to get the TV and found they did not have one in stock. So we had to go to Reading as they had one in stock. So off we went. It has been raining off and on for the last 3 day and continues today also. We have had about 2 inches of rain already. So we got to Reading and told the guy what we wanted. They also had a TV stand we like and they said they had one left. So the guy went in the back and came back out with nothing. He could not find either item, but had to go to the warehouse. He did find the TV, but the only table they had was the floor model and it was in really bad shape. So at least we go the TV. We got it loaded in the car and headed home. Maggie came by to look at her car and found the problem. She needed to call a couple of people to see if they could fix it, so she still has my truck. But she is fixing my computer, so all is good. We did hear from the builder guy and they are going to pay the $4000 fee and give us $1500 for the line hook up. We talked to Mark and Evon next door and they had a couple of estimates of 5000 to 7000 to run the line to the street, which I thought was kinda high. So we will call a few people and see if we can work out some deal for getting both done at the same time.
