Brow is all gone...

We were up around 8am this morning. We took showers and had breakfast. I then went to CVS to get a prescription filled and have to wait until tomorrow to pick it up. I then went to look for the spice store and found it was for commercial use only. There is another one in downtown Ft. Lauderdale we will try and go to next week. Beth was able to get all the brown painted over and the place looks nice. She has some touch up to do, but it is all done. I cleaned all the crap out od the will jams and sealed it with cotton balls. we will see if that keeps the grit out. I then cleaned the patio windows and they look much nicer. So little by little the projects are getting done. it is suppose to rain the next 2  days, but rain here does not really mean much. Still going to be in the mid 80's all week. We heard PA is getting more snow. So glad were are here. We took another walk tonight and for they were showing the movie Frozen on the beach. How cool.

First vistor...

We were up around 8am this morning. We had showers and breakfast. Jeff got here around 10:30am. We had a nice visit and he liked our place. He left around 12:45am. I had to call the cancer doctor and reschedule my June appointment as the doctor is on vacation.  I then made an appointment for next Tuesday to get my blood taken for the one month iron test. We then ran a few more errands and came home around 5pm. We walked to the little Irish bar on the next block over for dinner. I had the shepherd pie and Beth had steak. We then stopped for ice cream. It was a nice walk and a great evening.

Anoer day of running

We got up around 8am and had breakfast and showers. Beth had put the second coat on the dinning room wall and we both liked it a lot better. We then headed out to Ikea. We had lunch and then did some shopping. We then went to Bed Bath and Beyond and then to Hobby Lobby. We were on our way home and saw a car on fire on the side of the highway. We just hope no one was hurt. We finally made it home around 5pm. we had dinner and then called and talked to Rylee for a while. We could not do face time as we do not have the internet. So tomorrow is a fun day. Beth's brother is coming by and then we are going to the beach. The have a street fair going on tomorrow night with art, entertainment, and food. Should be fun.

More projects...

We had breakfast and then went to Bed Bath and Beyond. we picked up and few things and then went to AC Moore. We then came home and had some lunch. Beth went downstairs to get the parking permit figured out and we are good to go. We cleaned out the storage closet and organized the stuff in there, so we could get groceries better organized. We then worked on several little projects. It was a another nice sunny day and in the low 80's again. We went to BJ's wholesale club and got several things. We have to watch space in the fridge and freezer as we don't have as much room as we do at home. It is a process and we will figure it out. We went to Costco and Lowe's after dinner. We are going to start painting and see if we like the color for the main accent wall in the living and dining room. Beth's brother Jeff is coming for a visit on Wednesday. He will be our first visitor.

Nice day...

Beth was up and at church by 8am,. I got up, took a shower, and started unpacking boxes. Beth stopped at the local bakery and got a couple donuts. We had breakfast and then went to Wal-Mart for a few things. We then came back to the condo. It was a bright sunny day and the temps were in the low 80's. We had some lunch and then went to Bed Bath and Beyond and then went to AC Moore. we came home and rested a bit. The beach had yellow flags which means rough water, but the beach was still crowded. We hope to get the beach in the next day or so and then start painting the condo walls.

Left just in time...

We got up around 7am. We took showers and had breakfast. We were packed and on the road by 8:30am. We made it to Pompano Beach around noon and stopped at cracker Barrel for lunch. We then came the condo and unloaded everything. Beth go the TV working with the new FM antenna we got since we don't have cable yet. The association is still working on a contract with Comcast and we did not want to get Direct TV for the 6 weeks were are here. We get around 50 channels, so it is not bed. I wiped all the window sills and cleaned the bathrooms. Beth did the vacuuming and the place was ready for unpacking. We got all the clothes unpacked and put away. We will work on the other stuff tomorrow. We went to the store and picked up a few things for now. We are both kinda tired, but it is nice in the warm weather with the beach right outside your door.

Ready to go...

We were both up around 7am. Beth had a massage appointment and I was ready to get up. we spent the morning cleaning and getting last minutes things together. DJ came and picked up Buster around noon. He seemed excited to go and hope he does well there. We had lunch and packed the car. The car seems really big until you start putting stuff in it. We had to leave a few things for the next trip, but we are ready to go in the morning. We went to see Dr. Bill and then to see Jojo. We stopped and got chicken for dinner and then came home. Dawn and Rylee came over and we had a good time. The high in the morning when we leave will be 2 degrees. Hello Florida, here we come.

Packing...

I got up around 7am and started laundry. Beth was up around 8:30am. We took showers and had some breakfast. Beth's nephew came by around 10am. We chatted with him for about a hour and a half and then got to working. Beth had to go to the vet, the post office, and to Lowe's. I finished laundry and packed some stuff for Florida. I cleaned out the fridge and cleaned the bathrooms. we have a few thing to do tomorrow and as soon as DJ come to get Buster, we can pack the car. It will be cold the next 2 day, but seeing 80 degrees in Florida will be a welcome site.

Watching Rylee...

Dawn called at 7am and asked if we could watch Rylee. We had gotten 4 inches of snow overnight and her school was closed. We knew it was a possibility and were glad to have a day with her. We had breakfast and I took a shower. Beth went out to clean off the driveway. It was very fine and light snow and was not hard to remove. Rylee and I played inside until lunch. DJ came by to get me and we went to see here knee doctor. I did not care for her doctor and I think she was a little disappointed in his news. He wants her to try another set of shots and lose weight. He will not do a replacement of the knee. I am not sure why and neither was she. she is going to get a second opinion from the guy that did Beth's knee. We came home and she got the information from Beth and headed home. Dawn picked up Rylee and we went to dinner at Ice House. we had hoagie coupons and had to use them today. It is going to get bitter cold again the next few days, but that is alright as we are leaving for Florida Friday morning.

Good news Bad news...

We slept in this morning and did not get up until 8:30am. We took showers and had breakfast. Beth went to clean off the driveway as we are suppose to get 5 inches of snow tonight. I had lunch and the dealership called about my truck. They said it was ready to pick up. I thought they had to keep it 24 hours to fix the corrosion issue on the recall. We my truck did not pass as it had a hole in the frame. Good news is that they are ordering a new frame and it will be on them. Yea me. It takes 3 months to get it in, so it will be fixe in April or May. So I left to go to the hospital for what I hope is my last iron shot. After it was done, I picked up Beth and we went to pick up my truck and came home. It was still cold out, like 15 degrees, but the wind was not blowing. So we got ready to go out to dinner at the melting pot and Beth noticed she was missing one earring. Being that they are 1/2 a carat each, panic set in. We looked all over and found the back in the bathroom. After searching everywhere we could think of, we could not find it. I went to pat down Beth to see if it had falling in her shirt and she found it, in her bra. What a relief it was. so we left and went to the melting pot for dinner. We love eating there and the food is so good. So today was a day of bad news good news.

Happy Birthday Beth

We were up around 8am this morning. Beth watched church on TV since it was so cold outside. I then made us waffles and hash browns for brunch. I dropped off my truck at the dealership and it was bitter cold just walked to get the drop off envelope. Beth picked me up and we stopped at the store and CVS and then came home. We went to Dawn and Jo's house for dinner and birthday cake for Beth. The temperatures were in single digits, but with 25 - 35 mile an hour winds. That made the temperatures below zero and it will that way for a couple days.

Happy Valentine's Day...

We got up around 7am and took showers. we headed out the door by 8am and stopped to get gas. We then made our way to Shady Maples for a valentine breakfast. The line was out the door and it was cold until we were able to get inside. It took us 20 minutes to finally pay and then 5 minutes to get seated. I had an apple and cinnamon chip pancake, with home fires, gravy and turkey bacon. Beth not sure all that Beth had, as it took me awhile to get my food and she had eaten most of hers. We picked up a cherry pie for Beth's birthday tomorrow. We then came home and just in time as the snow started to come down. It is going to get bitter cold tonight and very wind. I hope we do not lose power and time soon.

Dinner and a movie...

We were up around 8:30am this morning. We had breakfast and took showers. Beth took her car to see about getting new tires. They were able to get her right in, so I went to pick her up. We had lunch and spent the rest of the day on the computer. We meet DJ and Maggie for dinner and they say the movie American Sniper. We got home around 10pm. It was cold all day long. I do not think it got above 15 and the wind was blowing all day, so it made it even colder.

Another trip to Dr. Bill

I got up around 7am this morning. My back was killing me again, so I made an appointment with Dr. Bill. Beth got up around 9am and we had breakfast. I left to go see Dr. Bill around 2:30pm and then on to the post office. I iced my back the rest of the day and it felt better. Dawn and Rylee got here around 5:30pm. They worked on Rylee's Valentine's treats for school. We had dinner and she finished then up after dinner. I tried to made the brownies in the waffle maker and what a mess it was. I think I put way to much batter in the tray and I think it should be drier. After they left, I took the next 45 minutes cleaning up my mess. We will try that again later and see how it works. They said it was good as I am not eating chocolate right now. It is going to be very cold tomorrow with wind chills below zero. Come on Florida.

Washer working

I got up around 7:45am. Beth was up around 9am. We took shower and I made cinnamon rolls for breakfast. I went to the store for a few things and came home. I started laundry and the washer worked with no problems. I packed a few more things for Florida. We caught up on a couple of our TV programs and then fixed dinner. Beth went to the doctor's today and got some med for her sinus. I was afraid she was getting sick and we are headed to Florida.

Busy day of phone calls...

I got up around 7:15am. My back was hurting and I hoped it would get better. I got Beth up around 8:45am and went to take a shower. I just got in the shower and the phone rang. It was the cancer doctor, she said to take my synthroid first and wait 30 minutes and take the protonix. She wants me to have a blood test done in 2 months. So I took a shower and we had breakfast. I then started make a long list of phone calls. After 8 phone calls, I am only waiting for one call back and hope to hear tomorrow. We then had lunch and worked on the washer. We pulled to top off and checked all the connections. We rain an empty load and everything seemed fine. So I did a load of blankets and it still worked fine. Let's hope it stays the way tomorrow when I do 3 loads. I then packed up a couple scrapbook project to take to Florida to work on. I then came upstairs for a little nap and fixed dinner. My back and hip are still not feeling better, so we will see how they are tomorrow.

Good news finally...

We were up around 7:30am. We took showers and headed to see Dr. Bill. We got adjustments and Dr. Bill answered some questions I had about the new meds I am taking. We then went to the post office and came home. We were home about 30 minutes and then left to see the blood doctor. He was glad we finally had answer on the bleeding. He wanted my iron up more, so I got another hot today and will get one next week. I will see him in 2 months and have another upper GI in 3 months. We can finally make plans.  to leave and go to Florida for a few weeks. So after getting some iron, we went to get lunch and came home.

Clean house..

We were up around 8:30am this morning. I had breakfast and took a shower. Beth got dressed and was on a mission to clean today, so Buster and I stayed in the scrapbook room. I did do a load of laundry but the washer is so messed up, it never really completed. So Tuesday is work on the washer day. I think I know what is wrong and should be an easy fix. I went to Staples for another color ink cartridge. The last one printed off 300 pictures, so not too bad. So I should know tomorrow when we can go to Florida and then I have about 7 phone calls to make. Should be a busy day.

Downspout fix...

I got up around 5am. I had a hard time sleeping last night and had several questions on my mind. I go ton the computer and did some research on the new med and it's interaction with other pills. Beth finally got up around 10am. We took showers and then headed to Home Depot to get the roll out downspouts for 2 of the rain spouts by the garage. We had seem to have a couple issues with water and hope that solves them. Beth went to go meet a friend of hers and I cleaned out all the bad stuff from the cabinets. DJ came by and got all the chips and candy we don't need anymore. I am working on changing my diet and hoping it helps with the ulcer. I then went down to work on scrapbooking stuff. Beth went to 5:30pm mass and I fixed dinner. We had roasted veggies and hamburger patties. I am not ready for bed as it has been a long day.

Ring.

I got up around 7:30am. Beth got up around 9am. We took showers, had breakfast, and headed out. We went to Kay Jewelers to look ad rings. Beth has her ring and I still needed mine. We had looked several times and I could not find anything that just wowed me. So we decided to look again and we found the one. I was custom made and we spent a little more than I wanted, but it looks good. They said it would take a couple hours to complete it, so we left and went to have lunch. We then went to Target and then back to pickup the ring. We then came home. We left around 3pm to go the store and to Lowe's. We had dinner and Beth settled in to work on her desk.

Cause is found...

We were up around 7:30am this morning. we took showers and headed to the hospital. We got all the pre check-in done and headed upstairs. I got right in and everyone and their brother came to talk to me and get me prepped. They gave me some stuff to dry up the music and something to relax me. When they took me back they also gave me 2 shots of the spray in the throat to numb it and then nite nite I went. They were able to determine I have a Cameron ulcer and that was causing the bleeding. So he wants me to take some meds for the next 3 months and they he will take another look and see how it is doing. It felt good to finally find out what the problem is and get it treated. I will see the blood doctor on Monday and hopefully we can get to Florida in the next couple weeks.

Last trip to the ranch...

We were up around 8am and were ready to go when DJ got here at 9am. We headed to the ranch one last time before settlement at the end of the month. We did not find a lot of stuff as it was cleaned out pretty good. We were there about an hour and then headed out. We stopped for lunch at 5Guys and had burgers and fries. Then we went to Cabela's for a few things and then headed home. I had to call the insurance company and the hospital about my procedure tomorrow and about a couple other claims. The lady I spoke to was very helpful and resolved all the questions I had. So it is off to the hospital at 9am in the morning and hopefully I will know something.

Happy Birthday Kyle...

We were up around 8:15am this morning. We took showers and had breakfast. Beth had to take her  tax stuff to the post office and picked some salad for lunch. I left and went to get my hair done. DJ was at the house when I got home. I went to puck up Kyle and then we picked up Payton at school. I let Kyle home as he needed driving time. we all left and went to Buffalo Wild Wings for Kyle's birthday dinner. We came back to the house and had ice cream cake. Happy 18th Birthday Kyle.

Scrapbook...

The phone woke us at 8am. It was the bug guy wanting to come early. Beth say no, so he will be back between 9 -11 am. We go up and took showers and had breakfast. The bug guy came around 9am. He did the downstairs first and then Buster and I went down while he did the rest of the house. We did not get any snow, but it was raining this morning. I spent the rest of the day in my hole doing scrapbook stuff. I printed 50 sheets of pictures and have more to do. Beth worked on tax stuff so it was good for me to stay out of the way. It will get super cold tonight and flash freeze all the rain we got.

Stupid play calling...

Beth was up and at church by 8am. I got up and took a shower and we had breakfast when she got home. We left around 1pm to go get beer and then to pick up the hoagies. I made mac and cheese and baked the chicken fingers. The fool was already by kickoff and we had a good time with fiends watching out last Super bowl together. If it was not for some stupid playing at the end of the games the Seahawks would have won. We had some minor snow flurries, but everyone made it home before any weather hit. So tomorrow is to bring rain, sleet, ice, and snow all day long. What a mess it will be.
