Disney all day....

We were up at 6am. We took showers and had breakfast. We got to Magic Kingdom at 8am. We were able to ride the Seven dwarf's mine train. We then hit Peter Pan which was a LONG wait. We hit a lot of rides and had fun. It was a long hot sunny day. We finally head back to the hotel around 7pm. Hopefully it will be early to bed and up early tomorrow for our drive home.

At Disney.....

We were up around 7am this morning. Beth took fist shower and I did some final packing and cleaning. I took my shower and Beth went down to talk to the office manager. We rented out our parking spot to a couple for the time we are not there and she had to give her permission. We left and I went to give blood and Beth got bagels and gas. We were on the road to Disney around 10am and made it to the hotel by 1pm. We checked in and unloaded the car. We then headed to downtown Disney. We found we had not expected to get and did not get some things were wanted. With all the construction, we had to park about a mile a way and walk int. Not good. We came back to the hotel around 5:30pm and then went to olive garden for dinner. Tomorrow is Magic Kingdom day.

Last day...

Beth slept in and went to 9:30 am mass. She stopped and got donuts for breakfast. I did 4 loads of laundry and cleaned the condo. We left after lunch and went to the bank. We were able to back everything in the trunk and will have only a few things for the back seat tomorrow. We went to The Sand's for dinner. It was a little windy today and only got to 76 degrees. we will be leaving in the morning after I give blood for my test and will head to Disney.

Packing....

We were up around 8:30am. It was a green flag day, but there was not sun and it was only 69 degrees. So we started packing and cleaning, so there will not be so much tomorrow. We hit the farmer's market and the stand that Beth wanted was not there. We then went to Flanagan's liquid store. They had some wines we wanted to get, but only had a couple of them. They had another store across town, so off we went. we found a couple more bottles. we then headed home for lunch and more packing. We went to dinner at Giraffe's which is a Brazilin food place. I had the cheese burger which was to die for and Beth had the steak. She said it also had good flavor. We will be eating there again.

Rain...

We were up around 8:30am. It was a yellow and purple flag day, so we did some stuff around the condo and left around noon. We went to AC Moore, Home Depot, Lowe's, and to pick up the new air vent. We had appointments to see Dr. Mike for adjustments and then went to BJ's wholesale club. We stopped at Umberto's Pizza shop. I have not had any bad food for 8 weeks and wanted pizza, also it is meatless Friday. It was really good and we will eat there again. It looked like rain all day and finally hit around 5pm. It was 92 degrees before the rain and then fell to 74 degrees.

Laundry...

We were up around 8:30am. I started the laundry and we had breakfast. It was kinds cloudy most of the day, so we headed down to the pool for a while. We were there about and hour and came back upstairs. We sat on the deck for a while and then took showers. I fixed dinner and we are not just relaxing and watching TV. Kind of a boring day.

Time growing to a close...

We got up around 8am. It was really foggy out and we decided to do our running around today. we had breakfast and took showers. We headed to Total wine and more and then to lunch at Sweet Tomato. We then went to see about a new a/c return vent. They had to order one and it will be in tomorrow. We came home and I wanted to do laundry, but it was in use. I took a nap and Beth watched TV. We have the big board meeting tonight and the election of new board members. It should be exciting and entertaining. We are on the count days for days left and string to use all the stuff out of the fridge. I do not want to bring a lot of stuff home.

Nice day at the beach...

We were up around 8:30am this morning. We had breakfast and got thing packed up for the beach. We headed out around 11am and set up our area. It was a little windy out, but the sun was shining bright. We hit the water and it was a little cool at first, but it does not take long to get used to it. We found lots of shells and even saw a couple different types of fish. We got out and had some lunch and soaked in the sun. We then got back in swam some more. The beach was really crowded and seems to be a lot more kids today. We came in around 2pm and took showers. We had to go to CVS and then went to a different dive store. I got a mask and snorkel and we got some infor on snorkel trips. We came home and I fixed dinner. I looked down and the sink was stopped up. Oh great. So we put some liquid plumber down it and we will see if it works.

Dinner plans

Beth was up and at church by 8am. I took a shower and she picked me up at 8:45am. We went to breakfast at the Jukebox diner. I had the banana fosters French toast and will not get it again. It had some type of sauce on it and we all know I hate soggy bread. After breakfast, we went to BJ’s wholesale club. We picked up a few things and then came home. Beth did some touch up painting and I did some cleaning. We meet Bill and Betty for dinner and then had ice cream. It was great evening with good friends.

Shopping..

We were up around 8:30 am this morning. We just kinda sat around and did nothing most of the morning. We left around 11am and went to Hobby Lobby. We then had lunch and went to the Antique Mall. It was not what we thought it was, so we left and came home around 3pm. I took a nap and Beth painted the guest bathroom and is working on the kitchen now. All the painting will be done tomorrow and we never have to paint again. Yeaaa. We had to skip the beach today, cause I got more sun yesterday than I needed and need a few days for it to calm down.

Beach....

We were up around 8:30 am this morning. We had breakfast and got ready to go to the beach. The water was nice and calm and very clear. We were out there until 3pm. We came in and took shower and got a snack. I got a little sunburn, but it does not hurt. We had waffles for dinner and then came down to the rec room. On Friday's they play cards and it so entertaining to watch the conversations that go on.

Painting almost done...

I got up around 8am this morning. Beth did not roll out of bed until 10am. We decided to just paint and then hit the beach all day tomorrow. I had to got out and run some errands. I got home around 12:30pm and we had lunch. Beth ran out of paint for the living room and I had to go to Lowe's to get some more. She was able to all the living room done. So we only have the guest bathroom and the kitchen. Not bad.

Another day of running...

We were up at 7am as we had appointment to see Dr. Mike at 8:30am. At 8am they called had to reschedule our appointment to 4pm. So we left and went to get bagels for breakfast. We then went to Ikea to get another desk, desk chair, and a few other things. We came home and had lunch and Beth put the desk and chair together. I took a 30 minute nap and then we left to see Dr. Mike. Are out adjustments, we stopped at Staples to look at desk chairs for me. I found one but it was not in stock. They ordered it and it will be here on Friday. We came home and had dinner and got 3 loads of laundry done. Tomorrow is beach day. Yeaaaaa.

Painting...

I got up around 7am. I have a little naggy cough going one and I did not want to wake Beth up any more than I had. Beth got up around 8:30am and we had breakfast. I left around 11am to go to Wal-mart and Beth began painting. I fixed lunch when I got home and Beth continued painting. I went to the rec room and did some stuff on the computer. I then came up and took a little nap. Beth finished painting for the day and took a shower. I fixed meatloaf and backed potatoes for dinner, and then we walked down to get ice cream. It was another nice day, but both of us had a little sunburn, so we will go to the beach tomorrow after seeing Dr. Mike for adjustments.

Great day swimming...

We were up around 8am. We had breakfast and got dressed for the beach. It was a green flag day and the water was calm. we got everything set up and got in the water. It was a little cool, but you get used to it fast. we were in the water a while when we say some dark clouds rolling in. We got out and sat in our chairs until they passed. Then it was back in the water with the sun shining bright. we finally came back to the condo around 1pm. we took showers and headed out for lunch at Firehouse sub. OMG they had the best sub sandwiches and look forward to going there again. we went to Lowe's and to the Post office. I did a couple loads of laundry while Beth took a nap.

Great day....

Beth was up and at church by 8am. I got up and got dressed and was ready when church was out. We were going to go to Lester's Diner as we had been to it a week ago, but it was too packed. So we went to another diner called the Jukebox diner. It was small place, but had great service and food. It will be our new diner to try more of their food. We then came back to the condo and got changed for the beach. It was yellow and purple flags, but there were a lot of people in the water. So we got the umbrella and chairs set up and got in the water. It was a little chilly at first, but felt good. The rip current was a little strong, so we did not go out far. We were in the water about 30 minutes, then sat in the sun for awhile, before getting back in the water. The beach is always crowed no matter what day it is, but were plenty of places for hanging out. We came in around 1pm and took showers and had lunch. We then went to Lowe's for some screws and a new return air screen, which they did not have. I made chicken salad with can chicken for dinner. We were not sure what it would taste like, but boy was it really good. We will have it again on hot days when you want something light. We had a great time at the beach today and hope to spend more days there before we have to leave.

More paint...

We were up around 8am this morning. It again was a read and purple flag day. We went to Lowe's to get more paint and few other things. We came home and had some lunch. Beth worked on taking off the vent in the living room and getting it ready for paint. We were not able to get the vent off in the bathroom, so I spent some time working on getting the crap out of them. The had built up lint in them and looked nasty. I was able to get then cleaned out and working better. We noticed that all the air that was suppose to go into the living room was not going into our bedroom and it was cold in there, so we had to turn the air up. We talked with Rylee today and she said all the snow was gone off the ground and it was raining. We are hoping to go to breakfast and then to the beach tomorrow.

More shopping...

We were up around 8:30am. We took showers and had breakfast. We were going to the beach, but it again was red and purple flags. They said it should clear up around Sunday, so we will see. We then put the entrainment center together for the office. It had alot of tan and white in there and needed some color. We had some lunch and then headed out. We went to Sears and JC Penney's and found nothing. We then went to this shop that makes rugs. It just so happens that they are moving and were having a sale. We say one that was ok, but I refused to pay $600 and even at half price. We did find one that was a little smaller ,but we love the colors. It was only $185 and the colors are great. The room is still a work in progress. We had waffles for dinner and of course I made a mess with the first batch. They were really good and we will try different varieties.

Another trip to Ikea...

We were up around 8:30am this morning. We took showers and had breakfast. Beth worked on the guest room removing the tape and minor touch ups. We headed to Ikea and stopped for lunch at a local diner. Then it was on to Ikea. We had several things to look at and ended up getting the entrainment center for the office, a table for the printer, a table for the guest room, a lamp for the office, and a sorter for the desk. We seem to spend at least 2 1/2 hours there each time we go. We headed home around 3:45pm and on the main road to our place, the train was stopped across the road. So all 4 lanes had to detour. The problem was you all had to go down 14 blocks before you could turn around. So an hour later, we finally made it home. We then had to unload the car and take the service elevator up. Needless to say we were tired when we were all done. We had steak and salad for dinner and then had to go out to Target. Beth had been able to get most of the air vents off and wanted to paint them. The good news of the day is the Eagles seem to have make some better signings today and we will have to wait and see how they all work out.

More painting...

I got up around 8:30am. I went to check the laundry room and no one was using it. I out a load in and came back to the room. I took a shower and Beth was just getting up. I spent the rest of the morning doing laundry and Beth got the spare room ready for paint. We had some lunch and Beth went back to paining. It was another red and purple flag day. I am so tired of red and purple and hope to get some more ocean swimming in before we leave.

Sun but no swimming....

We got up late this morning with the stupid day light saving time. We checked the ocean and it was still red and purple flags. We went to the pool and spend a couple hours there, We had lunch and then went to Home Depot and to Wal-Mart. We were back home in time to watch all the NFL trades and were not happy about losing our quarterback. Not sure what Chip is doing, so hope the team does not take a step backwards.

Bad day Monday...

Well since I missed my blood appointment on Friday, I was going to be at LabCorp by 7am. So I set the alarm for 6am and went to bed. I had a hard time going to sleep for some reason. The alarm went off and in to the shower I went. We I got out and went to dress, I noticed Beth's clock said 5:30pm. Some how my clock got set up an hour. Not a good start to the day. So I left and told Beth I would pick her up for breakfast on my way home. I signed at Lab Corp at 7:15am and was 10th on the list. I heard people talking that at 7:30am, no had been called back yet. Great, just great. So those people with appointments would be pushing the rest of us back in the line. So an hour later, I was called to give them my paper work and I had to fill out some form since it was my first time there. Finally at 9:25am, I was taken to the back. I just sat down and the tech left to do something else. I heard her ask one of the other tech if he could take my blood when he finished. Great, just great. So finally after waiting almost 3 hours, I was on my way home. I stopped and picked up some donuts and a large coffee for Beth's. She was prepping the office for painting. So we had a donut and boy there are so good. So I some errands to run while Beth painted. I had to go to Lowe's and get a new garbage disposal, since our died last night. Then it was on to Bed Bath and Beyond to get some more pictures for the bedroom. Then on to Wal-Mart for some items. I finally made it home around 12:45pm. We had some lunch and Beth began painting. I took a little nap and then worked on getting the disposal ready to install tomorrow. I noticed that the new one had a reset button on the button, so I looked at the old one and it had one also. So after pressing it, I turned on the disposal and it worked. Great, just great. So the day started out wrong and never really got any better. And then to top it all off, it was a red and purple flag day with bright sun shine. That means no swimming because of man of war and bad rip tides. So we will see it tomorrow is any better.

Small jobs...

We were up around 8am this morning. Beth went to 9:30am mass and I did some small clean up jobs around the condo. When Beth got home, I came downstairs to get on the internet for awhile. Beth went to Lowe's to pickup a few things for some more projects around the condo. It was very windy and the a spot of rain most of the morning. We got a few pictures hung, removed the old door molding, and re-hung the blinds in the bedroom. I made chicken and roasted veggies for dinner and it was yummy. I ordered some spices from Planter's in KC and they arrived last Friday, so things taste better now. I am going to give blood for my iron test tomorrow and I fell it will be really good. I have had no issues will be out of breath like before. Then it is on to painting the rest of the condo. I will take pictures when it is all painted and decorated.

Renassance festival...

 We have 2 sets of fire alarms- one for our place and one for the entire building. The one for the entire building went off last night. So we collect our cell phone, wallets, and car keys and heading down the stairs. It is amazing how many people did not leave their condo. The fire truck came and went up to the 9th floor. Not sure what was wrong, but we got the all clear to go back in. We were up around 7:30am this morning. We took showers and had some breakfast. We then headed to the farmer's market. We purchased a few things then headed to the renaissance  festival. It was only about 10 miles away and we paid for VIP parking to park closer to the front. It is very similar to the one in PA and a lot of the same people go there. We were there about 5 hours and were ready to go home. It was a nice day, cloudy with a little shower or two and a nice breeze. It was a fun day.

Still no beach swimming...

We were up around 8am. We checked the forecast and found yellow and purple flags again at the beach. So we got dressed in our suit and decided to walk the beach. The picture below is a man of war we found on the beach. There were only a few, so maybe tomorrow we can get in the water. we then went swimming in the pool for an hour or so. We are starting to get a little color and not so white anymore. We had lunch and I started laundry. Someone was using the dryer, so no big deal. The washer was done, but the dryer was still in use. I waited another 45 minutes and finally took their clothes out. I started another load and went back to the condo. I went back in 30 minutes when the washer was done and the clothes in the dryer were still wet. I found that the dryer hose was so that no air was coming out. So I fixed it and the clothes were done in 20 minutes. the lady finally came to get her stuff about an hour late and said she fell asleep. Sure glad I did not wait on her. Beth got the guest room all painted. She will do the touch up on the office and guest room tomorrow. It is sure looking nice.

Beach but no swimming...

We were up around 8am. We had breakfast and headed to the beach. we saw yellow and purple flags again and knew there would be no swimming. We set up the umbrella and chairs and walked down to the water. The waves were about 2 feet high and coming in hard. we did see several big man of wars on the beach and a lot of little ones. No body was in the water at all. We walked backup to the chairs and set down. A large group, around 50 to 75 people, were what we this was Bocce ball. Most of them were speaking French form what we could tell. We watching it for about 20 minutes and then went to the pool. It was nice and relaxing and we finally came in around 11:30am. With us being 2 white girls, we figured 2 hours in the sun was enough for one day. We took showers and had lunch. We went to see Dr. Mike for adjustments. He went to school with Dr. Bill and was telling us some stories. We then went to Target and then to  Peen- Dutch market. They carried a lot of the brands of meat were are used to and even had fried chicken. We came home and had dinner and now relaxing. we are going to hit the beach again in the morning if there are no purple flags. I will try to take a picture of the man of war if we see them on the beach. They are kinda strange looking, but pretty.

Another wall painted....

We were up around 8am. We were going swimming, but the were yellow (rough seas) and purple (man of war) flag warnings. So we skipped the beach and Beth pained the office wall and I went to Wal-Mart. Slowly the condo is being to have our personal touches on it. So we will try the beach again tomorrow.

Computer fixed...

We were up around 8am this morning. I called and was able to get us in to see the chiropractor at 11am. We filled out the paper work and our office in Pa was able to send our x-rays and other info to the new one. The doctor we wanted to see was out of the office and we will be adjusted on Wednesday. So off to Ikea we went to find an office table. We selected one and then headed home around 4pm. We went down to the rec room and Beth was able to get the computer fixed and worked again. We are headed to the beach tomorrow. I did not confirm my appointment for the lab work and will have to do it on Friday, so it is no big deal.
