End of the blog....

This will be the last blog entry. It has been a great adventure, but the time has come to end the blog. Thanks for those who followed us and we will enjoyed the coverage.

Busy outside...

We were up around 8am. I went down to walk and made a mile with no pain in my feet or legs. I then went out to unload the stuff from the truck and took pictures to add to the yard sale post. Beth came out and mowed the yard. I put two bags of soil on the back yard and it sis not make a dent. So I will go get a truck load tomorrow and spread it on the back. Then  put some seed down and hope to get grass on the back hill. We then worked on cleaning the left side of the garage. We put a couple boxes in the attic and I set out 5 boxes for the purple heart people to pick up tomorrow. So now we are watching the MNF and both teams do not look good.

Busy week-end...

We got up yesterday and went to Rylee game. It was about an hour away and we rode with Dawn and Darlene. Her game that they were going to cheer for was at 1pm. As the teams took the field, we could not find any of our players. Come to find out that our flag players were not invited as they had took many team, but forgot to tell the flag cheerleader parents. They said they could wait until 2:30pm and then cheer with the 80 pound cheerleaders. so since we had plans, we went ahead and left. We then headed to Linvilla Orchard. They have a big festival with hayrides, games, and food. It was over packed and not expected since it was 3pm. We got something to eat, Rylee got her face painted, and then did some games. We did some shopping and got some different types of bread, some apple cider, and some syrup. We headed home and stopped and had dinner. We got home around 8pm and watched some college football. we went to bed around 9am, as we were going to Jake's flea market early Sunday morning. So we set the alarm for 4am and when it when off we both said no way and rolled over and went back to sleep. We will unload my truck tomorrow and sell what we can on the yard sale site and save the rest for next week. So we got up around 8:30am and had breakfast. we went to Target and then to Toys-R-Us and came home to watch football all day. The Eagles have not looked good the last 2 weeks and have lost. We did spend some time counting all the change and will take it to the bank tomorrow. So needless to say it was a busy week-end.

No flea market...

We were up at 4am this morning. My phone went off with a rain alert and it looked like it was going to rain most of the morning. So we decided not to go and Beth went back to bed. I started watching some of the programs I had recorded and about 10 minutes later, Beth was up and dressed. She talked me into go to Cracker Barrel for breakfast. So off we went and had breakfast at 6:30am. It was rainy and we made the right choice not to go and will try again next week. Dawn came over to watch the games with us and the Eagles lost to Dawn's team. So not it is time for the debates and Beth is upstairs watching them and I am watching the game. The debates just irritate me to no end. But I am ready for bed, as it has been a long day.

Big scare...

We were up around 8:30am. I was able to walk with little pain, so the new insoles must be working. I then went out and pulled all the blood grass. We wanted to just have mulch in that area and now was a good time to get rid of it. we took showers and then went to Costco. They called about my truck and it seems I got a bad part last time it was fixed. So it will be fixed again, but at no charge this time. We watched the weather most of the day and to see if the condo was in any danger. It appears now that we will miss the blunt of the hurricane, but will still get rain and winds. Thank god. We saw Disney was closed and could see why with the rain they will be getting.

Projects....

We were up around 7:30am. It was kinda a chilly day and cloudy. I took a shower and went to AC Moore and the grocery store. I came home and we had some lunch and then went to Costco. Beth wanted a shop vac and I got a chicken for dinner. We worked a bit in the attic and vacuumed all the dead stink bugs. we took a look at what was up there and will put stuff in the garage for the flee market this week-end. We then worked on our Halloween costume stuff while listening to the debate. Not really interesting and did nothing for who I will vote for. I go to the foot doctor tomorrow and hope he has good news and not bad, but we will see.

The sun...

We were up around 8am this morning. We took showers and headed to BJ's for some shopping. We picked up some Disney gift cards as they are discounted there and this quarter I get 5% back on my credit card. We came home and had some lunch, then did out weekly cleaning. We are trying to do a room every week to try and stay on top of things. We had to meet a lady for a yard sale sale and then came home as Dawn stopped by after work. We finally saw the sun today and it might be the only day this week.

Early football game...

We were up early this morning as the first football game was on at 9:30am. And we spent the rest of the day watching all the games. It finally stopped raining this afternoon and it looks like it will be dry for a few days.

Where did the day go????

We were up around 8am. I took a shower and headed to Rylee's cheerleading event. It was a cold and gloomy day, but had stopped raining. We got over 2 inches of rain last night. Beth was going to watch Jojo play hockey on the Flyers ice in Philly. It was homecoming so all the cheerleaders and players were announced and gave their parents flowers. It was so cute. I had to leave around 11:45am and meet someone at the mall for a sale. I then went to the grocery store and came home. I put a pot of chili on for tomorrow. Beth came home around 3:15pm. we talked a little while and then Beth went to church. I let around 6:30pm to go back to the mall for another sale. We got rid of most of the Halloween stuff and will take the rest to Jake's flea market next week. So I have to ask, Where did the day go?

Rain on the way...

I got up at 6:30am this morning. I had to get fast passes for our Disney trip for Jojo and it opened at 7am. I was able to get most of the ones we wanted. Beth got up around 8:30am. I took a shower and headed to the post office, the bank, and then to Target. I was back home by 1pm and Beth had to go pick up Jojo from school as she was sick. We had some lunch and then I had to go meet a lady for a yard sale sale. Kim picked up Jojo around 4pm. It started to rain and it looks like it will continue for the next 3 days.

Great Game.....

We both did not sleep well last night as the dog kept waking us up. We finally got up around 7:30am. we both had shower and breakfast. I has to meet someone for a yard sale sale at 10:30am and Beth went to church. Both the eagles and the chiefs played at 4:30, so we watched the red zone first. Beth then watched the Eagles game and I watched the red zone. Both teams won in great games. It was a high of 70 today and looks like we can turn the air off for the season,

Very Lucky...

I got up around 7:30am and took a shower. I had a doctor appointment at 9am to get my foot looked at. He took some x-rays and told me I had very flat feet. He is concerned that my legs are swollen, but they have been for a long time. He wants to do an ultrasound on Monday just to get it checked out. Then we will look at insoles or a brace for wearing in my shoes. I came home and we worked some in the office. It is looking nice and clean. I started to copy over some music to the cloud and my external hard drive would not boot up. My heart sank and all my pictures and music were on that. Beth tried, but she could not get it to work either. So we talked to Maggie about options and she was going to hook it up to some thing she has in her big box of tricks. I decided that since it had been unhooked and setting for a few hours, I would give it one last try. And low and behold it powered up. So I started moving all 85,000 pictures to another drive and moving my music off. It took about 4 hours, but I was able to get everything off and was so happy I did not have to pay and arm and a leg to try and recover it. Today seems to be the last day we will see the 80's. All next week will only get to mid 70's and hope to turn the air off.

More sales...

We were up around  8am. Beth took a shower and headed for her doctor appointment. I started laundry and tried to copy some of my music to the cloud. Beth was home and we had lunch. She left to go meet someone for her yardsale sale. I had an issue with my external hard drive and I think it might be dead. Not good as all my music and pictures are on there. I had to meet someone at 6pm for my yardsale sale. We had dinner and are now watching TNF.

Beth Tatoo

We were up around 8am as we lost power for some reason. It was only off about 5 minutes, but not sure why. Beth had to go over and Jojo's lunch and take it to school as she forgot it. We worked in the office a bit and then had some lunch. We left to go pick up the cruise documents and then headed to the tattoo place. Beth was really nervous at first, but soon calmed down. It too about an hour to complete her tat, but it looks good and will look even belter in a week or so.  We stopped by Dawn' s as she and Rylee wanted to see, then came home. What a day.

Office cleaning...

After watching the eagles win last night, it was hard to get out of bed at 7:30am. I had to give blood at 9am and then get gas. I came home and we started cleaning the office. We took 3 loads of trash out and it is starting to look better. Beth has to work on her corner, which might take a couple days. We have a pile for Jake's flea market and will add more in the coming weeks. What every is left over, will go to the purple heart people.

Eagles MNF

We woke to thunderstorms this morning and rain. It was a cloudy and gloomy day. we had about 1 1/2 inches of rain. I had a hair appointment at 11am and stopped by Michael's on the way home. We had lunch and started cleaning the office. We got rid of a lot outdated book and travel stuff. The bug guy came and everything is good with the house. We had the roast from yesterday for dinner and Dawn and Darlene stopped by to watch the football game. We are hoping for a Eagles win, but who knows.

Another football day...

I could not sleep at all last night and got up when Beth went to church. She picked me up after church and we went to Wal-mart and then to Target. She was looking for the wig that is half white and half black for Halloween. I put a roast, potatoes, and carrots in the crock pot and we settled in to watch football. I checked the roast around 2pm and found it was on warm and not high. So we had something different for dinner and will have that tomorrow. We are suppose to get rain tonight and all day tomorrow.

Football day....

We were up around 8am. Beth said it was too cool on the deck for her morning coffee. DJ stopped by around 9:30am to drop of Nyla. They had racing all day and Nyla needed some time with Beth. Beth had a couple errands to run then cut grass. I cleaned the kitchen and dinning room as they were looking very messy. DJ called around said Payton was not feeling good, so they would be by to get Nyla. Beth was sad she was leaving too early. I had a yard sale item to drop off around 7pm and then spent the rest of the evening watching football. Mom had her auction today for half the stuff and did well. The rest will go next week.

Long week....

It as been a long week. We have had several things with mom's house and have finally got everything settled. She will have settlement on Oct. 27, so it will be all done before we leave the contry. We have woeked on getting the closet cleaned out and got rid of some stuff. I have all the Halloween stuff on the yard sale site and have some of it. We have the majority of our Halloween costumes completed and one less thing to worry about. Mom had part of her stuff going to auction tomorrow, so will be checking it to see how it is doing. Dawn, Rylee, and Darlene came for ribs tonight. Yum Yum

Bad news....

So we found out that the people that are under contact on mom's house can't not close until Oct. 26. Something to do with an issue 3 years ago with a house they had. So now the options is work with them and wait 6 week or start the process all over again. So we will see what happens. We had appointments with Dr. Bill this morning. We then came home and loaded up the yard sale item we had sold. We then went to BJ's wholesale club and back home again. We then went to the Halloween store to get costumes for the cruise. We came back home and Dawn stopped by after work. She and Darlene had dinner with us and Dawn watched the first football game and left after it was over. We are now watching the second game, but might only make it to half time.

Ready for football....

Beth was up and at church by 8am. I did a couple loads of laundry and then it was time for football to begin. There were some great games and the Eagles and Chiefs won their games. Dawn and Darlene came over to watch with us and left around 5pm.

Long day....

We were up at 4am and on the road by 4:45am. we stopped at WAWA and picked up some breakfast. We a good stop at Jack's flea market and unloaded out stuff. It was already 75 degrees at 6am and was going to be a hot one. We packed up around 10am and headed home. It was just to hot and there were very few people there. We did make about $100 bucks and brought home less than we took. We unloaded the truck and went swimming for awhile. It is going to be the last swim of the season as the temp will only be in the low 80's and in the 50's at night. We came in and Beth is upstairs watch her programs and I am watching college football. We both will be in bed early tonight as it has been a long day already.

Cheerleading

I got up around 7:30am and got dressed. I had to meet someone at 9am for a yard sale sale. I came home and did my walking and then took a shower. We headed to reading and had lunch at Olive garden then went to the farmers market. We were picking up Rylee and she wanted ribs for dinner. I took a little nap before getting her at 4:30pm. We took her to cheerleading practice as Dawn had meet the teacher night. we dropped off Rylee around 7:30pm and came home. It is the start of football season and a great game tonight.

Dentist...

I had a dentist appointment at 10am. After that I was suppose to meet a lady for a yard sale sale, but we decided to meet on Saturday as we are both going to Jake's flee market. I came home and we began cleaning the cedar closet. I have 4 thing that I want cleaned before we lave on the cruise. We also have to get together the things for the flea market this week-end. We took 2 bags of clothes to good will and a bag of hangers to the laundry place.  I had to meet a lady at 5pm for a yard sale sale also, so Beth was in charge of getting dinner ready as Dawn and Rylee were coming over. I got home around 5:20 and everything was ready. We talked about our Halloween costumes for the cruise and will not be on the look out for them.

Calm down...

Things are starting to calm down with regards to the selling on mom's house. Everything in back with the inspections and appraisal and closing is set for Setp. 15. We spent the day doing some errands and Beth even went to the movies. Kyle stopped by for a visit and we had a good talk. The weather is going to try and hit in the 90's again before turning to fall temps.

More weeds...

We were up around 8am. We had breakfast and I went out to weed the front and side area. I have one more little spot and it is finally done. Darlene and honey came over for a while. Beth cleaned the downstairs as we have the draft party next weekend. I had to go to Lowe's for a couple things and then came back home and had dinner. We had chicken salad and it was yummy. Now it is time for the Eagles and our first look at them.

Work time...

I guess we had a heck of a rain storm last night, but I slept through it. So when I got up this morning the ground was just right for pulling all the weeds that needed pulling. So off I went to pull the weeds in the back yard. I had 2 buckets full and will do the front tomorrow. Beth and I then went swimming for awhile and the water felt good. We then had lunch and took showers. We had to go to Wal-mart for a few things and to look a de-humidifier. Beth then worked in the office on a few things and I tried to take a nap, but was not successful.

Worth it....

So after spending 4 weeks in Phoenix, mom and ken are all settled and we have an accepted offer on her house. Now we wait for the appraisal and inspection. We went to BJ's wholesale club and stocked up on several items. Dj and Payton came over for a visit and then we meet Dawn and Darlene for  dinner. We had a little rain storm and hope for a little more. I have to pull weeds tomorrow and a soft ground would help.

Making progress...

We spent the week-ending doing some more packing and resting. Beth and I had to take pumpkin to the ASPCA as mom could not take 3 cats with her. It was not a good day, but it had to be done. We only have the kitchen to pack and will start on the Thursday. We have the dumpster coming tomorrow, so it will be time for the trash to get loaded up. It is still hot and we have been in the pool a couple times. The water temperature is around 90 degrees, so it is not very refreshing, but helps with aching muscles. I found that the pool at our house was not working correctly , so we had to call the pool guy to look at it. I guess it was nothing major, as it is working now. Beth will call tomorrow to see what was wrong. We also hear it has been very hot there also.

Still packing...

We are doing pretty good on getting things packed up. We only have the kitchen and mom's bedroom left. We have a dumpster coming on Wednesday for the things not going to the action, moving with mom, or goodwill. Beth and I were finally able to take a swim last night. The have had hugh dust storms the last 3 days, but nothing seem to make it this far. We had to get the a/c on Ken truck charged as not having it will make you melt fast. We spent one afternoon at IKEA getting Ken and mom new computer desks for the apartment. They were much needed.  So it is to more packing and the time is drawing near for the move.

moving along..

We are moving along in getting mom and ken packed up. The heat has been a factor, but we have leaned to do outside side stuff early in the morning or late at night. We have manage to make four areas for the stuff moving with mom, the stuff going to the auction, the stuff going to goodwill, and trash. I think we are in good shape and Mom is feeling good about the progress also.

Ready to go....

We were up around 8am. I got dressed and had to go clean the gutters. It did not take long, but it was very humid out. We took showers and headed to Best Buy, five below, and I filled up the truck as I had 20 cents a gallon off. We came home and had lunch. We finished packing last minutes stuff and then did some final cleaning. The refrigerator looks scary with nothing in it. We went out to dinner at TGI Friday's as we had a coupon. Dawn joined us and then came to the house. She is in charge of the pool and watering and DJ is going to mow if you can. So we are all packed and ready for our 9am pick up in the morning.

little items...

I got up around 5:30am and was at Dawn's house by 6:15am. I got Rylee ready for camp and dropped her off around 8:30am. I came home and Beth was gone getting her hair cut. We had breakfast and I started laundry. I went to Wal-mart for a few things and  saw DJ and Payton. Dj has to have surgery next week to remove an abdominal wall cyst. She noticed it before going to KC and it had gotten bigger in that short period od time. They do not think it is anything to worry about, but it has to come off. We then went to pick up Eileen from the Phoenixville hospital as she was admitted with chest pains. They think it was Pleurisy and sent her home. We then went over to visit with Beth's brother and his family for awhile until it was time to see Dr. Bill for adjustments. We came home and I was dragging by that time, but had to finish laundry and start dinner. Dawn and Rylee got her around 5:15pm and we had lasagna and bread. We watched and movie and they left around 8pm. Beth and I got the clothes packed and will work on the backpacks tomorrow. I am so ready for bed now.

Swimming and weeds...

We were up around 8am. I went down to walk and then had breakfast. I went to the grocery store to pick up a few things and came home. Beth brother, Jeff, stopped by and so did DJ. I then sprayed some weeds and we went swimming. We swam for a while and then pulled a few weeds, then swam, pulled weeds, and so on. It was a nice day and very sunny.

Movie...

We were up around 7:30am. We had breakfast and took showers. I packed a few items and Beth collected the trash. We went to the movies at 1pm and saw The Big Friendly giant. It was a cute movie, but don't have to see it again. We came home and DJ picked up Nyla. It was nice to have a dog for awhile, but she is back home with her peoples. Dawn dropped off Rylee for a swim while she went to the grocery store. So the count down is on til we leave on Saturday. we have several things to get done, but the list is getting smaller.

Rain

We were up around 8am this morning. We had breakfast and showers. We left and went to Zern"s farmers market and then came home for lunch. I went downstairs to work in the scrapbook room. It was a rainy cloudy type day, which is good as some places are shooting fireworks due the rain last week-end. Beth went to church and I made dinner when she got home. We started doing some packing as we leave for Phoenix on Saturday.

Cleaning

Beth did not get home from picking up DJ and the gang until 2:30am. I got up around 7am and let Nyla out. I went downstairs to walk and then began cleaning the house. Beth got up around 11am.  We did not do much the rest of the afternoon. Dawn came to get Beth around 6pm to go to local carnival with Rylee and a friend. I worked in the scrapbook room. it was close to 95 again today and very humid. It is suppose to rain tonight and tomorrow, so we will see if it cools down some.

Cheesecake factory

We got up around 7:30am. I opened Rylee's door and turned off the fan. I got dressed and found Rylee was up. So I got her milk and breakfast. She watched a little TV and then I did her hair, got suntan lotion on, and got her dressed. I took her to camp around 8:45a, and came home. I then went down to walk and had breakfast. Beth went down to walk and clean the bar area. I worked in the scrapbook room until lunch. Dawn picked up Rylee and came over around 4pm. We had told Rylee if she could sit at the dinner table and eat her dinner with out running around and messing with her food, we would take her to Cheesecake factory. She has done very well and so it was time to take her. We were all a little nervous, but she did great. I phone with games on it helped a lot. We then walked about the mall and then came home for dessert. I had to water tonight as I am trying to stretch the day between water to help the grass for when we leave. It was another hot day of 95 degrees and more tomorrow. Beth is picking up DJ and the gang from the airport tonight around midnight.

Hot day...

We were up around 7:30am and out the seeing Dr. Bill by 9am. We then went to BJ's wholesale club for a few items and came home. I took a little nap and then we had lunch. I went downstairs to work in the scrapbook room and Beth took and nap while watching the ball game. Dawn and Rylee came for dinner around 5:30pm. we had corn dogs and waffle fries. Dawn left around 8pm and we went night swimming. She is staying the night as Dawn has to be to work by 6am and I did not want to get up at 4:45am, so we used a night swim as a bribe. It was hot and humid today. It got to around 94 degrees.

Work in the scrapbook room...

We were up around 7:30am. I let Nyla out and got dressed. I went downstairs to walk and then then had breakfast while Beth walked. I then took a shower and went to DJ's to empty cat boxes. I then went to Wal-mart and Michael's before coming home. I spent the rest of the day in my scrapbook room. Beth was outside with Kim as Jojo and a friend came to swim. Dawn and Darlene came by around 5pm for a swim and to let the dogs play. Beth got hoagies for dinner and Mega Million tickets. It started out a crappy day, but got better and the temperature got warmer and the sun came out. We got over an inch of rain last night, so no watering today.

Nice day....

We were up around 8am. We had breakfast and then went over to Dawn's house. We had to replace her kitchen light. It only took 30 minutes and was easy. We then took a ride to a development that had a few condos for sale. It had limited parking and no community pool. We then came home and Beth went over to see her brother. We had lunch when she got back. Beth went to cut grass and I went to work downstairs. Dawn called and wanted to know if swimming was in the plans. Jo had Rylee this week-end and she was not feeling well. Rylee was bored of watching movies, so swimming it was. So Jo dropped off Rylee and went back home. Dawn came over about 30 minutes later and went swimming with us. It was only 79 degrees out, but the water was warm. We had burgers  and chips for dinner. Jo came to get Rylee around 6pm and Dawn left for her house. So ready for bed as we are going to the Kutztown festival tomorrow.

Truck back...

We were up around 7:30am. Beth had to go get a mammo and I went downstairs to walk. When Beth got home, we went over to DJ and Maggie's house to clean the cat boxes. We went to the bank and to WAWA. We had a couple of down pours and then sun shine. We meet Dawn and Darlene for dinner after I picked up my truck. It was nice to have my baby back.

Laundry...

I was up around 7am. I got dressed and went down to walk. Beth got up and she went down went I was done. I finished putting new sand in the brick pathway by the pool, so all walkways are done. I pulled some weeds and then came inside for breakfast. I started laundry and had to go to the store. Dawn and Rylee came for dinner and after dinner one of Rylee's friends came to swim. They left around 8pm. We are looking at a cruise in February and can get a great deal on. Going to talk to our AAA person tomorrow about it and hope to get my truck back also.

Not much...

It was a busy night last night. I went to bed around 10:30am. Beth put Nyla in the bedroom around 2:30am and she barked a bit, before Beth left to go pick up DJ and Maggie. Beth was back home around 4:30pm and again Nyla barked. I got up around 8:30am and let Nyla out and fed her. Beth got up around 11am. We spent the rest of the day really doing nothing as both of us were kinda tired. The dealership called about my truck and I had a power steering seal leak, but they can not fix it until Friday. So good to know it was not expensive or a major fix. We had a brief rain shower and suppose to get more later. It was so muggy this morning, than you knew rain was on the way.

Rainbow...

I got up around 7am. My leg was still killing me. I took a shower rand had to meet a lady at 10am for a yard sale sale. I then went to the store and came home. Beth was going through she t-shirts and swim wear. We took what she was getting rid of and put it in the collection box and then took some old batteries to Best Buy. I took a couple Aleve and rested for about an hour. My leg felt better and by the end of the night it felt good. Dawn and Rylee stopped by for dinner. We had chicken and cheese quesadilla . We had some rain around 8pm and a rainbow appeared. It was nice to see.

Leg hurt..

We got up around am this morning. My leg was sore and never got any better. Might have to go see Dr. Bill on Monday. I went to the post off and stopped by Costco. I came home and Beth went to the dentist. we had lunch and I did laundry. Beth cleaned the garage and was able to get her car in it. Dawn and Rylee came for dinner and we had chicken, mac & cheese, and salad. We had a few showers, but nothing much.

Thunderstorm

We were up around 7:30am. We had breakfast and got dressed. We headed to Dawn's house. We tried to hoist her car carrier and attach it to the ceiling in the garage. We tried several things and nothing worked. So we called it a fail and came home. We spent the rest of the day doing odds and ends around the house. Beth had to clean the pool filters. We had several pop out storms, but they only lasted a few minutes. Beth and Dawn left to go to the Movie Tavern. There was a Grease sing along. They went to a Sound of Music last year and had a good time. It was not my thing, so I stayed home and had a good time doing nothing.

Clean Clean Clean

WE were up around 7:30am and seeing Dr. Bill by 9am. We came home and started cleaning the house. It was kinds put on hold while we did outside work and got ready for the yard sale. We got 3 rooms done and will finish tomorrow. Not an exciting day, but had to be done.

Happy Father's Day...

We slept until 7am, when Beth's alarm went off. Beth went to church and I went to Wal-mart. We had some lunch and then went to the pool. Dawn and Darlene came over around 2pm. The water was nice in the pool. Julie and Bethany stopped by for a visit, as we had not seen them for a while. Dawn and Beth fixed steak, baked potatoes, and salad for dinner. Yum Yum. A Happy Father Day to Ken Ogle who had a great father to mean and I love him so.

Flee market day...

We were up at 4am. We got dressed and headed out. We were all set up by 5:30am. It was a little chilly and Beth some time in the truck. It did not take long to get our first sale. Around 10am it had started to warm pretty good. We sold alto of stuff and make a good profit. We loaded up and headed home around 11:30am. We unloaded the truck and we both took a nap. Mine lasted about 15 minutes and Beth lasted about 2 hours. Dawn and Darlene came over around 3pm and we all went swimming. We cooked some burgers and hotdogs on the grill and ate outside. It was a great day, but I am so ready for bed.

Up early...

I was up at 5am and headed to Dawn's house around 5:30am. I got Rylee up around 7am and at camp by 8:15am. They were suppose to pick strawberries, but rainy. I got home and started the laundry and had breakfast. I took a shower and Beth and I headed to the mall. She want to look at some Zippos and I did a little shopping at Kohl's. I was suppose to meet someone at 1pm for a yard sale sale, but they never showed up or text. I went to the movies and saw Captain America- Civil War. It was ok, but you know another one is coming. I came home and Beth had the laundry done. I had to pick up Rylee as Dawn had to work a little overtime. We dropped her off with Darlene, but Dawn got home before we left. It was a chilly rainy day, but warmer temp are on the way.

First mow

We were up around 8:30am. I took a shower and had breakfast. I had to go to the doctor's office and pick up a blood work script. I stopped at Costco and Home Depot. I came home and then Beth and I went to get the pool water tested. It was cloudy and needed some stuff to help it. We then went to Bed bath and Beyond and to the grocery store. Dawn, Darlene, and Rylee came for dinner and a swim tonight. It is suppose to rain tomorrow, so we did dinner tonight.

Prep for yard sale...

I got up around 7am. Beth was up around 8:30am. We had breakfast the got dressed. I moved some stuff from the basement to the garage. That way we can get it all priced and ready for Jake's on Saturday, Beth had to run to the bank and to the insurance company. Liz came over to swim and we finished moving stuff to the garage. I think we have a good pile and hope it sells. I watered the grass and went to pick up Chinese for dinner as I forgo to take out pork chops.

Not sure...

I was up around 6:30am. I opened Rylee's door around 7am and she was up about 5 minutes later. I got her breakfast and then took a shower. She got dressed and we headed to summer camp around 8am. I came back and had breakfast and then started cleaning the kitchen. I am not sure where the rest of the day went. Dawn picked us up around 5:30pm and we went to dinner with Eileen. The guy is not coming back to re-seed until fall, so I will not have to water much longer.

movie and swim....

We were up around 8am. We took showers and had breakfast. We picked up Dawn and Rylee around 10:30am and headed to the movies to Alice through the looking Glass. It was really good and we all enjoyed it. We then went to Target the Mall. Rylee wanted to get some new earrings. we came home and Rylee asked if Maxx and Ellie could come swim. Beth went over to ask and 3 minutes they were in the pool. It was a fun time and hope to have them back again. Rylee is spending the night as I have to take her to now Summer Camp. It is still at her child care center, but they do fun stuff all summer long and swim 3 times a week. Beth finished the picnic table and she did a good job. I love the colors. It was really windy here today and good thing as the temp was above 90.

Great day for a swim

We were up around 8am. we had breakfast and went outside. Beth worked on painting the picnic table and benches and I pulled weeds and cleaned the pool. Beth cut the grass and Dawn and Rylee came over around 2pm. We went swimming and the was nice. The water felt cool, but you got used to it. We ordered pizza for dinner and swam until 7pm. We are going to the movies tomorrow and Rylee wants to stay the night.

Car for sale...

We were up around 8am. we had breakfast and went out to work. I cleaned my dirty truck and Beth cleaned the old car. We then took the car to Wheels in Motion. They are going to display it and try to sell it for us. I did some laundry and fixed dinner. Dawn and Rylee came by for dinner and then Rylee went for a swim. The water was cold and she did not stay in long.

BJ shopping

We were up and out the door by 9:30am. we headed to BJ's wholesale club for some shopping. We came home and had some lunch. Beth had to do a couple errands and then we had to meet a lady for a yard sale sale. We then took my computer to Best Buy as I could not get it to come on. And of course, it worked fine there. He said sometimes you just have to take all the power away and then try again. It only got to 75 today, but still had to water. Jeff will be by to reseed the area that need it, so more watering is in my future.

Graduation...

We were up around 7:30am. Dawn came by to get us around 9:15am and we headed to Rylee's school. They were going a kindergarten celebration and had refreshments afterwards. Some how, Rylee talked us into taking her home with us. So Dawn dropped us off and she went to work. Rylee and I went to drop off a yard sale sale and then went to McDonald for lunch and playtime. Beth had an eye appointment and was home around 2pm. Rylee and I went to the pool. But 30 minutes later, the black cloud rolled in and thunder and lighting hit. So we jumped out of the pool and headed to the deck. We waited it out and headed back, only to have a few rain drops hit again. It seems to clear, so we did a little more swimming. But you could see the dark clouds coming back. So we closed the pool and got dressed, just in time for the skies to open up. Jo picked Rylee up around 5:45pm. We had dinner and watched a little TV.

Hobby Lobby...

We were up and out the door by 8:30am to see Dr. Jill. We both were in need of adjustments. When we got home, we both made some phone calls and then headed to Hobby Lobby. It is nice having one so close and Beth was excited cause we got to eat at Chipotle's. We came home and Beth ran to the bank. Dawn came by for dinner and we watched Alice in Wonderland. We are going to see the second movie next week, but Dawn had never seen the first. I had to water and now it is time for bed.

Dinner with Dawn....

We were up around 8am. We had breakfast and Beth was off to church. I spent the day in the scrapbook room working on a couple projects. The top dishwasher is not working and who knows how much that will cost, so we will use the bottom one and then replace the whole thing. Dawn made a pot of gravy, spaghetti sauce, and we had dinner with her. It was just like her father in-law made and she will now put her own twist on it. We had a big rain storm come through and drop a inch of rain in 30 minutes. As least I did not had to water.

Play time...

We were up around 8am. I took a shower and headed to Wal-mart. I am making t-shirts for the Disney cruise and wanted a navy blue t-shirt. Well they did  not have one in the size I needed, so I got something to match the others ones I already have. I they had to go to Lowe's and pick up a few things. I got home around noon. I made lunch and Beth's brother came by. After he left, we had lunch and I went downstairs to play on the cricut and Beth cut the yard. Her band aid came off in the shower, but the doctor said that was ok. I made steak and backed potatoes for dinner. Yum Yum. I had to water tonight, but it is suppose to rain all night and tomorrow. So it looks like another day of play is in store tomorrow.

Swim time...

We were up around 8am. I had breakfast and took a shower. I had to go get gas, went to AC Moore and the grocery store. I came home and had lunch. I picked up Rylee around 3pm so we could have some more time to swim. I had to drop off a yard sale sale and stopped and got a bucket of chicken on the way home. Dawn came by around 5pm and started dinner, while we finished swimming. We ate on the deck and even had dessert. It is suppose to rain the next 3 day, so maybe I will not have to water much.

Pool almost ready...

We were up around 7am. We had breakfast and got dressed. Beth went out to cut grass and I went to power wash the deck around the pool. I cleaned the tables and chairs. Beth came down to do the final part around the deck and the retaining wall. She finished up and I took a shower. I made a few called to get the balls rolling on mom's move. We meet a lady to drop off and yard sale sale and went to dinner at TGI Friday's. We had coupons, so dinner only cost us our drinks. We came home and I hat to water the flowers and the grass. I am so ready for bed. Hopefully we cane swim in the pool tomorrow.

Deck all clean...

We were both up around 8am.  We had breakfast and I went out to work on the rest of the deck. Beth went to church and then over to check on Dawn's cat. I  was able to get all the deck cleaned and it looks nice. I took a shower and we went to Lowe's and The Dollar Store. we came home and had hotdogs on the grill with coleslaw. A couple came by and looked at the pavers we had for sale. They will be back on Wednesday to pay for them and pick them up. I guess it was worth it to stack , count, and list them. It is suppose to rain all night and all day tomorrow, so it looks like time to work inside.

Outside work...

We were up around 8am. we had breakfast and headed outside. We worked on getting the 430 pavers all stacked and listed on the yard sale site. I got 2 people interested in them, so we will see if it pans out. We had some lunch and then started working on the deck. We got the upper part and wiped down and power washed. We will work on the lower level tomorrow. We were both so tired that after showers we went to Chili's for dinner. We came home and I had to water. The grass is coming in good in some place sand not in others. It was hot and yucky, but playing in the water was good. Time for bead and hope we can walk tomorrow.

Trip to see Kyle...

We were up around 7:30am. Lynne dropped off Jojo around 8am. I took a shower and started laundry. DJ picked me up and we went to see Kyle. We did some talking and are moving forward with things. Beth and Jojo went to the movies and before I got home. It was a tap warm today, so I spent some time in the basement. Jojo went swimming until her mom picked her up. Beth and I made a drop off for a yard sale sale and were home by 5:30pm. Dane came by for beers and dinner. We had to turn on the air as it was just too warm in the house and not going to get any better for a few days. We should be able to swim maybe tomorrow or Sunday. The grass is growing out front , but we still have some spot that need to be reseeded. He is coming Tuesday to take a look..

An adventure...

We wee up around 8am and you could tell it was going to be a warm day. We had breakfast and got dressed. We loaded up all the metal and aluminum to take it to the scrape metal place. We had never been there, so it was going to be adventure. We got the truck weighted and then had to go to one building to have the aluminum weighted and then we unloaded the metal. We were surprised to get $53 dollars. So we came home and put it in the stash can with all the yard sale money. We had lunch and Beth went to mow the yard. I down sized my cookbooks and glasses in the china cabinet. The garage is getting cleaned and things set up for the yard sale. If we could make 300 buck it will be a success. It got to 85 today and felt great. It will push to the upper 80's the rest of the week. We may be able to swimnext week and the pool is so ready. We went to pick up some plastic pallets for a lady tonight on the yard sale site. We want to stack the all the extra pavers on them and see if we can sell them.

Sun and rain...

We were up at seeing Dr. Bill by 9am. We then went to the post office and then came home. Beth was suppose to meet someone at 11am for a yard sale sale, but she never showed up. we took Rylee's easel over to her house and brought Honey, the dog, over to our house for her to run awhile. I went to Wal-mart for a few things and came home. It was a nice sunny morning, but soon went away and was a rainy evening. I had just turned on the water for the yard as we have little sprigs of grass. I finally turned the water off, as it looked like we were going to get enough rain. Beth went to meet someone at the mall again for a yard sale sale and the did show up. We had dinner and I am now not allowed to eat any solid food. I have my upper GI tomorrow at 1pm my time. Just a check and don't expect anything to show up.

Rainy and gloomy again...

We were up around 8:30am. Beth went to mass at 10:30am and I started pricing the stuff for the yard sale. We went over to Dawn's house around 3pm and had dinner with a friend of Darleen. It was a good time. It was rainy and gloomy again today. The temp did get to 65, but no sun. I posted a few more items on the yard sale site and have 3 things sold already.

Breakfast with friends

We were up around 7:30am. Got ready and went to breakfast with Dawn and Darleen. we went to the bank and came home. I cleaned the kitchen and did 2 loads of laundry, Beth started cutting the grass. Dawn and Darleen stopped by for awhile and let Honey, the dog, run around for awhile. Beth finished cutting the grass and I had to meet someone for a yard sale sale. I came home and watered the front yard. It is suppose to rain the next few days, so yea for me. we went to Zern's and sold all the wheat pennies and a few other coins. I picked up some round steak and came home again. It was 74 today and felt good, but will not be back until Tuesday.

Jojo's play

I was up and at dawn's house by 5:45am. Things were good and Rylee was at day care by 7:45 am. I started laundry and had some breakfast. Beth had a doctor's appt. and was back home by 11:30am. We picked up Rylee from school around 4pm and ordered pizza. Dawn got here about the same time as the pizza. We left around 6:10pm to go to a play Jojo was in at the high school. Dawn and Rylee went with us and it was cute. We were back home around 9:15pm and I am so ready for bed.

Pennies counted...

We were both up around 7:30am. Beth had to give blood at 9am and I started laundry. Beth finally finished counting all the pennies we had. There were 8305 of them, she went to trade them in, but the road to the place was under construction. I went to the dry cleaners and the store. We had lunch and the day was not looking good for any sun. I went to BJ's and picked up a few things. We go the air hockey table set up downstairs and played a little on it. The scoreboard does not keep score, so we will look at it later. I had to meet a lady for a yard sale sale at 6:30pm and was able to get the lawn watered before then, just as a rain shower hit.

My Birthday..

We were up around 7am. The guy was here to fix the oven and did not charge us for the parts. It was starting to rain and glad I would not have to water the yard. The guy came to service the air conditioner and found no problems. We left around 3pm to go see a lady about an air hockey table we saw on the yard sale site. It was in nice condition, so we purchases. We had to take the legs off and carry it out of the basement, but it was not to bad. It did stop raining long enough for us to get it home. Beth took me to the Cheesecake Factory for dinner. We got desset to go and ate it at home. Now we are watching the finals of a couple of our show and going to bed soon. It was a good day and very happy birthday for me.

Early morning...

I was up and at Dawn's house by 5:45am. I got Rylee and ready for school and we were out the door by 7:30am. I then came home and took a little nap. I had a hair appointment at 11am. I then went to the post office and came home. We had lunch and Beth worked a little outside. I went to Michaels' and to the grocery store. I fixed steaks on the grill tonight and they we were yummy. I had to water the yard which takes about an hour. It is suppose to rain the next couple days, so we will see. It was a little chilly this morning as the temperature gauge said 39, but did get to 62. Hoping to see so high 70's next week.

Busy day

We got up around 7:30am. Beth went to church and I went to the grocery store. I was am to stock up on meat and got a good deal. I came home and cleaned out the freezer. I had to meet a lady at the mall at 1:30pm for a yard sale sell. I then went to Michael's for a couple things and came home. I worked in my scrap book room until 4pm. I then had to water the big patch in the front yard. Dawn and Rylee came by for dinner around 5:30pm. Rylee wanted to get in the pool, so we told her she could. She had to stay on the steps and it was really cold. She was in about 5 minutes and it was time for dinner. After dinner, Rylee took a bath. she likes taking one here for some reason. They left around 7:30pm. Tomorrow is an early morning as I am on for Monday and Thursday for getting Rylee to school.

Prep work...

We were up around 8am. Beth had to cut the front yard area where the new grass will be put down tomorrow. They need it short to grade it correctly. The bug guy came and all is well. He said ants will be bad this year as we had a mild winter. We went over to Dawn's for dinner and had burgers on the grill. It was another rainy off and on day. We are so tired of it, but it will stop cause we are getting the yard done and will need to water.

Early running...

We were up around 8am. I had to meet a lady at the mall at 9:15am for a yardsale item. We then went to Wal-mart, the car wash, the post office, and finally home. Beth had a hair appt. at 12:30pm. I worked on getting some more stuff on the yard sale site. Dawn and Rylee came over for dinner as we had goulash. It was kinda warm today and I had some of the windows open. It is suppose to be in the 80's next week and I hope to get the deck washed down and clean from all the pollen.

Dentist...

I was up and at the Dentist by 10am. Everything was good for another 4 months. I came home and picked up Beth. We went to Reading for some shopping and lunch. We came home and then went to the bank, the UPS store, and to AAA. We came home again and then took a water sample up to be tested. It needed some shock and calcium. We then stopped at Wal-mart and came home again. Beth went to watch Payton race and I stayed home. I was too tired to go anymore today. It was a gray overcast day, but no rain.

Busy day...

We were up around 7:30am and took showers. Beth had a funeral to go to and I went to see Dr. Bill. I then went to Target and the post office. I came home and had some lunch. I had t meet a lady for a yard sale drop off and was back home by 12:30pm. Beth came home around 1:30pm. She went to see Dr. Bill around 3pm and then went to AAA to get Jojo's Disney ticket. We came home and Beth cleaned the pool. We meet Jo and Rylee at Jo's storage shed to drop off some of her stuff and then went to her for dinner. It was a good evening.

Happy Mother's day....

We slept in a little this morning. We had breakfast and got dressed. We finished taking Dawn stuff over to her and have now somewhat found our garage. Beth did the weed whacking and will mow tomorrow. I wanted to wish my mom a very Happy Mother's day and tell her I love her very much.

Early morning...

We were both up early and went over to watch Rylee. Dawn needed to use my truck as she was getting new tires for hers. We got Rylee up and at school by 7:30am. We then came home and Beth had some church thing at 10am. I took a shower and the a small nap. Beth worked on her desk, changing the big one out for a smaller one. I cleaned the bathroom and did laundry. we had dinner at Dawn's house and Rylee and I set up her train set she got for Christmas. We are going back again in the morning as Dawn is leaving early to go with Darleen to see her daughter. It was cloudy, but no rain today.

Rain again...

So it is day 4799 of rain and no sun and I do not see it getting any better for another week. So we spent a lot of time today talking about our future and where do we go from here. We talked about the pro and cons of being Florida residents, selling the house and getting a smaller place, and moving to Florida. I can't say we have any answers, but have determine the getting a smaller place in PA is a must. We have decided to have a yard sale mid June to try and get rid of some of the stuff we have. So that will be our direction for now.

Long day...

I did not sleep well last night and had to get up at 5am. I am watching Rylee on Monday and Thursday on Dawn's 10 hour days. It is only for 7 weeks and I like taking Rylee to school. So I got Rylee up and dressed. I took her to school around 7:30am and came home. I had to call about the oven and they will send someone out tomorrow between 1 and 5pm. I cleaned up around the house and we picked up Payton around 4:30pm. We took him shopping and then out to eat for his birthday. We dropped him off and then went to Dawn's house and dropped off some of her stuff. We came home and I am trying to stay up until 9pm and then off to bed. It looks like it is going to rain off and on all week and be chilly.

Yucky and cold...

We woke this morning to a yucky cold day. We got dressed in shorts and jackets to work outside. we finished planting the flowers and I got all the decorations for the backyard flower bed put out. Darlene came over with her dog to let her run in the backyard for awhile. Dawn had to work today, we helped kept Darlene company. We left after lunch to go get a few more flowers and we are done now. We had dinner and took some of Dawn's stuff from the garage over to her. It appears it will be yucky and cold for a few day.

flowers...

We were up around 7:15am. Beth did not have a good night sleeping and not sure why. We had appointments with Dr. Bill and then came home. I had to meet a lady a 10 for an item we sold on the yard sale site. we then went to Target and came home. Beth took a nap and I went outside for a bit to work on the back area. We were able to get most of the flowers planted before the rain tomorrow. We had a few for the big pots, but they need better soil. I had to meet someone at the mall at 5pm, again for something we sold. At least we are getting rid of some of the stuff around here.

Hard work

We were up late this morning. We went to get a load of mulch and also picked up some flowers. I unloaded the mulch around the fence where the water had left hole and around where the water line was fixed. I need one more load to finish the back part. Beth worked on putting pavers by the shed door. It looks nice. Beth went to 6pm mass and stopped to pick up hoagies for dinner. Dawn stopped by for a visit and had dinner with us.

Birthday party

We were up around 8:30am. I had o go the mall and deliver a couple items I sold. We then came home and had lunch before we left to go to Grayson 3rd birthday party in New Jersey. It was the first time we had seen Jack also and he is a cutie. We left there around 5:30pm and stopped by Ikea. Beth was looking at getting a smaller desk for the office and selling hers. We made it home around 8pm and a lady wanted to buy an item Beth had on the yard sale site, so we meet her around 8:30pm. It rained a little last night a the this morning, but not enough for us to check the gutter theory, so we will wait for another day.

Clean up...

We were up and outside around 10:30am. we started working on the drain under the deck, but found it was clean. So I think the leaves clogged the cutter and cause the rain to spill under the deck. We are going to watch it the next time we get rain and see what happens. Beth cut the grass and I had to spread the Preen to control the weeds. We have a lot of items on the yard sale site and we had to go to the mall to deliver one thing then went to the sports store. We are going to try our hand at frisbee golf. It should be interesting and entertaining.

Movie time...

We were up around 8:30am. we had breakfast and took showers. We went to the dry cleaners and dropped off some clothes at good will. We then picked up Jojo as she was out of school today and then went to the post office. we had lunch and then went to see Zootopia. It was a cute movie. Kim picked up Jojo around 4pm. A guy that I talked to about fixing the front lawn came by to give us an estimate. It was 1500 to 1700 dollars, which DJ and I thought was a little high. Going to get a few more before we decide to maybe do it ourselves.

Rough night...

Rylee stayed the night with us last night as Beth and Dawn went to Wendy's birthday party. I told her she could sleep downstairs in the tent, which she has wanted to do for awhile now. So we got ready for bed, I slept on the couch next to the tent she was sleeping in. The couch was not comfortable at all and Rylee woke me at 3am and wanted to go upstairs. The floor was too hard for her. So off to the guest bed we went. We slept for 3 hours and she was ready to get up at 6am. Beth got up around 8:30am and went to get pastries at the store. Dawn and Darlene came over around 10am. Rylee spent most of the day playing across the street with water guns and about 6 other kids. We tried to work out back, but got little done. The gang left around 5pm and I fixed dinner. I am so ready for bed and hope to sleep well tonight. We are watching Jojo tomorrow.

A day outside...

We were up around 8:30am and had some breakfast. We went to work outside on some projects. We are looking to see what needs to be done to sale our house. Beth cut the grass and I pull out pulled 2 bushed out with my truck. we wanted to make the area around the flag pole smaller and easier to cut with the riding mower. We came in and had some lunch and took showers. we had to go pick up Beth's car and then went to dinner. It looks like the next few days are sunny and warm and time to work outside more.

Snow...

We were up around 8am. It was a cold day and sure enough snow started to fall. Beth had to go pick up pool chemicals as they were having a sale. I got the guest bedroom and bathroom cleaned. The snow was a wet heavy one and covered the ground as it fell, but was not going to be around long. It finally stopped around 2pm. Dawn had a gathering at her house for some friends of her so they could meet Darleen. It was a good time. The snow had gone by the time we left to come home around 10pm.

Breakfast.

We got up around 7am. Dawn and Darlene came over around 7:45am and we wen to Shady Maple for breakfast. We did some shopping afterwards and then came home around 1pm. It was a cold gloomy day. I watched tv the rest of the day and got caught up on my shows. We had beef and cabbage for dinner and it was good. I have to get my butt in gear tomorrow and get some stuff dine.

Last day at the beach...

We were up around 9am. I had a couple loads of laundry to do and come cleaning. Beth went to get hoagies for lunch and got an extra one for dinner. We have the car all packed and ready for morning. We took one last walk for ice cream and a walk on the beach. We were hoping to stay longer by the house sitter did not work out, so we have to leave. But we will be back in January for more fun in the sun and hope to have more visitors.

Laundry and packing...

We were up around 8am this morning. Beth went to church and found it was food donation day. This was good for us as we had also of food that would spoil before we come back. So we loaded up what we had and she took it back to church. I was able to get 4 loads of laundry done and have a couple more tomorrow. Beth went to casino and did some cleaning. We went to The Sands for dinner and enjoyed the view. We visited with Bill and Betty on last time before we leave on Tuesday.

Breakfast and packing...

We were up and out the door for breakfast around 9am. We then went to Wal-mart and were able to get swimming suits. Since the weather is warm year round it is easy to get shorts and suits all the time. We came home and I started packing. We are about 75% packed and hoping to get to the beach or pool one more time before we leave. We went to Flannigan's for dinner. Beth had prime rib and I had ribs. Yum Yum.

Pool time...

It was windy today and was yellow and purple flag day. We decided to go to the pool for a couple hours. The water was warm and the sun was shinning. We came upstairs for some lunch and then sat on the balcony for awhile. I took a shower and worked on packing the food items. Beth took a nap most of the afternoon. I fixed chicken and roasted veggie for dinner. We watched a movie and had popcorn.

Starting to pack..

I got up around 8am. I started to due some packing. Beth got up around 9:30am. We had breakfast and I started a couple loads of laundry. Beth went to Best Buy and got me a cable for the computer monitor. I spent the rest of the day packing some stuff for our trip home. We had our last bar-b-que tonight with the gang. We are hoping to go to the beach tomorrow.

Shopping...

We were up around 8:30am. We took showers and had breakfast. I did a couple loads of laundry and then we went shopping at the Saw grass Mall. It is a hugh mall and has several stores. We headed home just as the big thunderstorm rolled through. We ordered pasta dished from Rocket Pizza for dinner. Shelly will be heading home tomorrow evening and will be missed.

all day at the beach.

We were up and at the beach by 10:30am. It was a cloudy calm day. We were able to do some snorkeling and 2 fish keep following Beth and I. We said it was her parents making sure we were ok. We finally came in around 2:30pm and took showers. Even with the cloudy we managed to get some sun. Beth and I had appointments with Dr. Mike, so we dropped Shelly and Steve off at Hot Leggs and meet them for dinner afterwards. We then went to Target and came home. I got 2 loads of laundry done and I am ready for bed.

Happy Easter...

We were up around 8:30am. We had breakfast and took showers. We headed out the do to do some exploring of some neighborhoods for Shelly and Steve. We look as several places and they liked a couple of them. We came home and had some lunch. I fixed dinner around 5pm. We had ham, scalloped potatoes, corn and rolls. We had strawberry shortcake for dessert. Happy Easter to all.

Beach day...

We were all up around 8am. Beth and I took showers and we all had breakfast. We went to Wal-mart as Steve needed swim trunks. We then came home and headed to the beach. The water was warmer than before and felt good on a hot day. We headed back home around 3pm and took showers. We then walked over to the Sands and had dinner, then went for ice cream. We then settled in for the night except for Beth who went to church tonight, so she could sleep in tomorrow.

Shelly coming...

We both slept until 9am. I guess I needed the sleep after all the traveling the last few weeks. We went and got bagels for breakfast and picked up a few for Shelly and Steve. We then stopped by the store and came home. It was another day of clouds and rain on the way. We finished cleaning the house and putting a few things away. We went to Hobby Lobby in the afternoon and then ordered pizza for dinner. We will head to the airport around 11:30 to pick up the travelers and enjoy a few days with them.

Settled for now...

Things have been in sure chaos the last several weeks. We had to travel back to PA as Kyle having drinking parties at the house. We finally got what we thought were things settled and mom called and needed me to come to Phoenix. My stepfather was in the hospital with breathing issues and mom had pneumonia. So I caught a flight out on March 10th and Beth headed back to Florida. Things were not settled at the house in PA, but we are working through them. Mom is doing better and Ken is in rehab trying to get stronger to come home. Time will tell when that will be, but the hope is in 3 weeks. So I was able to come back to Florida in time for my friend Shelly to come for a visit. We did some shopping for Easter dinner today and made it home in time for the storm to hit. We had tornado warnings that lasted only 20 minutes or so. I was able to work on a couple vinyl projects today and hope to complete a couple more before we leave. It was a read and purple flag today and the weather proved it.

Errands and laundry....

We were up around 8:30am. Beth went for her walk and I took a shower and had breakfast. We left and went to The bank for CJ and then went to our bank. We then went to Wal-mart and on to Old Time Pottery. We were home around 3pm. Beth took a nap and I tried, but could not. I started laundry around 4:30pm and finished 3 loads. Tomorrow we are spending the day at the pool and working on our tan.

Dinner party...

We were up around 8am. I went downstairs to walk on the treadmill and Beth went for her walk outside. I came back up and had breakfast. I went to the store to get a few things and came back home. We got thongs ready and went to the beach for a few hours. We wanted got get in the water, but it was still a little too chilly, but with warm weather it should get better. We came home and took showers. We were invited to join the weekly dinner and boy was it good. They had hotdogs, pork chops, chicken, and salmon with several side dishes. We  got to talk with several new people and had a great time.

Busy Day....

We were up 8am and took showers. We left around 9:30am and headed for LabCorp, so I could give blood. We then went to Trader Joe's to look for meringue cookies, which they were out of. We then went to Ikea and picked up a few things and headed home. We stopped by McDonald's to get some cheeseburgers as they had them on sale today. We got a call this afternoon asking us to join the Wednesday Bar-b-que that a group of people have in the building. I guess you have to be invited the group to join, so it looks like we are in. We are starting to meet more and more people in the building and beginning to fell like part of the group.

Bust for breakfast...

Beth was up and at church with Bill and Betty by 8am. I took a shower and headed to the lobby as they were going to pick me up and go to breakfast. Betty's stomach was acting up, so breakfast was cancelled. Beth and I did go to Einstein Bagels for breakfast and came home. We went to Bed Bath & Beyond and to Lowe's after lunch. We spent the rest of the day getting the spare room and Bathroom ready for guests. Dawn will be here in 2 weeks.

Busy day...

We were up around 8:30am. We got dressed and walked to breakfast. We came home and took showers. We were going to presentation of Joseph and the techo-colored robe. We were offered tickets as some one in the group from the building could not go. It was great fun and we all went to dinner afterwards. It was a great time and we meet so new people in the building.

Errands...

We were up around 7:30am. I went downstairs to use the treadmill and Beth went for her walk. We had breakfast and showers. We headed to Joann's, Famous Footwear, Costco, and the grocery store. We were back home for lunch. Not much else today as it was a sunny but chilly day.

Wii...

We were up around 8:30am. Beth went for her walk and I went to the treadmill. We had smoothies for breakfast and took showers. We went to the hardware store to return the locks that were not needed and then to Joann's Fabric store as they had a sale on cricut stuff. We came home and had some lunch. Beth was suppose to help Betty with a project, but she had to work. So she sat on the deck and had cocktails. I had put a roast in the crock pot for dinner and it was yummy.

Laundry...

We were up around 8:30am. We had breakfast and Beth began changing the locks on all the doors. I worked on organizing my pictures on the computer. I started Trying to do laundry at 12:30pm. I finally got my first load in around 3:30pm and finally finished around 6:45pm. That is one of the things I hate doing here as it is a hit or miss on the washer. It was a nice day, but still red and purple flags on the beach. So we sat our deck and had drinks watching the ocean waves.

OH NO...

We were up around 8:30 and got dressed. We took our morning walk to the grocery store to get some applesauce for a breakfast smoothie. We stopped by to see the beach on the way home and the waves were about 5 ft high and were really rolling. We got home and Beth a call from the blinds guy and he came by around 11:30am to talk about blinds. After taking some measurements, we selected a style and put a deposit down. We will have blinds for the lining room in a couple weeks. we will get the rest next year. We then went to Staples and the Whole food store. We came home and Beth's laptop had been acting up, so after dinner we took it to Best Buy. Something is wrong with the screen and the have to send it is to get fixed. We should get it back in 2 weeks and no cost. It was a little cloudy and warm, but no rain.

Car back...

We were up around 8:30am. I got dressed and went downstairs to walk. Beth made some calls and had her breakfast. I took a shower and had breakfast. We then left and went to the hardware store to get a different lock and then on to Total wine. We then went to BJ's wholesale club and were back home by 2pm. The called to say the car was ready and Beth went to pick it up. I think we are going to take it the dealership in PA to make sure everything is correct. The accountant called and needs me to determine all my contributions for the IRA money I have for the last 20 years. REALLY...I think I have all my tax returns in PA, but it might be a guessing game. It was another day of rough tides and man of wars.

Clean up...

We were up around 8:30am. We took showers and Beth went to 11am mass. I started a couple loads of laundry and began cleaning the bathrooms and the rest of the house. Beth wanted to put the new locks on the doors, but found they were not the right size. I made beef and cabbage for dinner and boy was it yummy. Beth was able to find a stir fry seasoning package that added just the right amount of flavor. I will be getting some of the packets to take home. I spent some time looking for a new project on Pinterest and found a couple things. Beth talking to the dealership on Saturday and they hope to have the car ready tomorrow, but don't hold your breath.

Play day...

We were up around 8:30am and took showers. Beth had really bad blisters on the back of her heels, so we took the car to breakfast. After breakfast, we went to CVS for bigger Band-Aids and some meds for the blisters. We came home and I started playing with the cricut machine and making designs for Beth's huggies. She wanted beach items on them and I got 4 of the 6 completed. I was able to get the house cleaned and then back to playing. I finished the fish pictures similar to the turtle and will seed to you, Mom, tomorrow. We ordered pizza for dinner and it was yummy.

Laundry...

We were up around 8:30am. We got dressed and went for a mile and a half walk. We came back and I started laundry while Beth took her shower. I then went to take mine and found the light switch would not shut off. So Beth went to Lowe's to get a new one and we replaced all the light bulbs in both bathrooms with more efficient ones. I finished the laundry around 2pm and we then went to Hobby Lobby and then to Super Target. Beth called about her car and it is still not ready. Boy is she pissed. We had burgers for dinner and waffle fries. It was a nice day with mostly sun shine and a few sprinkles.

A day at the beach...

We were up around 8am. Beth went for her walk and got a hair cut. I started packing things for the cooler to take to the beach. When Beth got home, we changed and headed to the beach. It was a nice calm day and with green flags. We staked out our spot and headed to the water. It was a little chilly, but we could get used to it. We had some lunch and just chilled for the next couple hours. We came back to the condo and took showers. We had a board meeting tonight to elect new board members. It took an hour, but we got the people we wanted. There was not a qualm so we could not have a meeting to talk about the new elevator.

Tornado this monring....

We got up around 6:30am as we could here the rain and thunder. We found out we had tornado warnings and boy oh boy was the wind really bad. It blew over the platform the guy were using next door and blew several boards off the side of the building. We later found out that several trees were uprooted and power lines were done a couple of blocks away. After it was all done, I went down stairs to walk on the treadmill and Beth went to the bank only to find out they had no electric. We had some breakfast and I had a hair appointment at 12:3opm. I was way past due and it showed. I really like the lady that did my hair and will go back to here in 5 weeks again. We came home and rested a bit before headed to the melting pot for dinner. It was Beth's birthday dinner and it was so yummy. It did get to 84 today and suppose to be sunny again tomorrow. We are headed to the beach tomorrow if all goes well.

Happy Birthday Beth...

Beth was up early as she had the car to get looked at. There was some noise that was driving her crazy. Come to find out it needed new shocks and suspension system. The had to get a part from Jacksonville, so we got a loaner until tomorrow. I went down and did my walk on the tread mill and then did a load of laundry. Beth was home around lunch time and we went to Chipotle's, Beth's favorite. We then came home for awhile before going to see Dr. Mike for adjustments. We then came home. It was very windy day and rained off and on all day and the beach had yellow and purple flags again. A special Happy Birthday to my wife.

Happy Valentine's Day...

We were up around 8am. Beth went to 9:30am mass and then came home. I went to Publix for some fried chicken for lunch and we were both craving it. We took a walk to go get some ice cream and sat on the beach awhile. It was a yellow and purple day as the waves were high and the man of war were out again. We came home and both took a little nap. It was 78 degrees today and hoping the water temp will be up so we came do some swimming. I fixed roasted veggies and pork chops for dinner. Yum yum

Adventure...

We were up around 8am. We got dress and headed out for Breakfast reward day. After breakfast, we walked around to get our 2 miles in and it was a very nice day. We wanted to go back to Hobby Lobby and took a different route on our adventure. We saw a lot of really nice houses along the intercostal waterway. The high today got to 79 and bright sun. We talked to Dawn and she said it was freezing cold at home. So glad we are in Florida.

Heat again....

I got up and went to walk on the treadmill around 8am. I made my 2 miles in 54 minutes and came back upstairs. Beth was up and having her coffee. She went on her walk  and I took a shower and did one load of laundry. We then decided to go the Super Wal-Mart on Atlantic Blvd. It was a lot nicer and had everything we wanted. It will be where we shop from now on. We were going to have cheese quesadilla for dinner with one small problem, we did not have the quesadilla maker at the condo. So we had grilled cheese and soup and will get the maker next week. It was finally warm weather today and got up to 78 degrees.

IKEA shopping...

We picked up Betty and headed out to Ikea around 10am. We had a great time shopping with Betty and headed home around 2pm. We had some lunch and then I started working on my turtle project. I will post pictures tomorrow. I fixed lasagna and garlic bread for dinner. It was bright sun shine today, but cold. We both had to wear long pants, yuck.

What a mess...

Beth was up at 7am as today was some day of church thing. I got up and got dressed as the electrician was going to be here at 9am. Beth got home around 8:45am and I went downstairs to walk. I came back up at 10:30am and the electrician was still not here. Beth called at 11am and still no answer. I went to try and do a load of laundry and what a mess that was. Let's just say that Wednesday is not a good day for laundry. The electrician finally showed up at 11:30am. We explained what we wanted and off to work he went. He could not speak very good English, but enough so we understood each other or at least we thought so. So 2 hours later we got the one electrical outlet fixed and our cable wire around the ceiling, but not fished through the wall as we had asked. We tried to tell him it was a solid plaster wall and to go through the drywall wall and some how that got all messed up. The holes he made for the opening near the air vent we bigger than they needed to be, but the crown molding will hide that. So we will not be using that company again. Beth went out for her walk and to walk off some of her frustration. She ran into Betty, our friend on the 9th floor, and she came to see the damage. She gave us a name of a couple of people she used for her crown molding work, her door guy, and her window guy. I finally finished the laundry around 4pm and Beth took a nap. We had pancakes for dinner as it is the start of meatless Fridays. Beth was able to get the storage unit put together in the garage and we have to get a couple brick to raise it up off the floor incase of flooding. Dawn said they had 5 inches of snow at home and the roads were not too bad. It will be bitter cold the next few day, so we are so glad we are not there.

Hobby Lobby...

WE were up around 8am. I went downstairs and did my walking on the tread mill. Beth came down a little later and was going to do her walking outside. We found we are alright with walking separately and might do that for awhile. I came back and took a shower and after Beth took her shower, we left and went to Hobby Lobby. I have several project I am working on and needed a few things. We then went to Home Depot and got a storage unit for the garage. That will allow us to store some stuff down there that we don't use all the time. We went to the 26 degree brew pub for dinner. We found they did not serve food, but you could call and get it delivered. We passed, but Beth had a sample of 4 of their beers. We then went to 5girls for a burger. It was just an ok and will not need to go back again.

Cool today...

We were up and out the door by 9am. We walked a different direction and made our 2 miles. We came home and I did a load of laundry. I found that instead of waiting for a specific day I would just do it when I had a load or so and the washer was free. The guy came about the electrical and will be back on Wednesday to fix everything. I went to Wal-mart to pick up a few things and came home. Beth was taking her afternoon nap. I made beef fried rice for dinner. It was good but will make some changes next time. It was chilly today and only got to 66 degrees. It will only be in the low 60's the next few days. We still worn shorts but had to put on jackets.

Great game...

We were up around 8:30am. Beth went to get donuts for breakfast. It was a little chilly outside as we had to leave the building for the fire alarm. It seems someone pulled the alarm by accident. We spent the rest of the working on some things around the condo. We went downstairs around 6pm for the Super bowl party. There were around 40 people there and it was a good time. Congrat to Denver for a great win.

Not Much...

I got up around 8am and Beth was up by 9am. We took showers and had breakfast. We did not do much the rest of the day. we went to dinner at Longhorn as we had a coupon and then to Best Buy. I needed a new monitor of my computer and they had some on sale. We then came home and watched some TV until bed. So we did not much today...

Breakfast...

We were up around 7:30am. We got dressed and headed out the door. It was Friday breakfast reward day. I toll Beth that if we walked every morning, we would get breakfast at the café on Friday. So we got breakfast and walked our 2 miles. It was a little chilly today, but we had on shorts and long sleeve t-shirts. We came home and took showers and then headed get some lunch, to the bank, and then to Costco. We stopped at Rooms to Go to look at the stuff they had, but I wans not impressed. We came home and Beth called and electrician to come look at our plugs. The bottom one on a couple of the electrical plugs do not work and we want him to feed the cable wire done the wall. He will be here Monday around 2pm. We had chef salad for dinner and are going to watch a movie.

Laundry...

We were out the door around 9am to do our morning walk. We took a different route this morning. We found that we were one of the youngest people walking and we were the slowest. Oh well, I guess you have to start somewhere. We came home and had some breakfast. I then did 5 loads of laundry. The took most of the rest of the day. I fixed chicken and roasted veggies and they were sure good. Beth is having issue with her phone , so we may have to go to the Verizon store tomorrow. It was another nice day, but the strong rip currents and Man of war kept us from the beach again.

Started walking...

We were up at 8am and got dressed. We decided to start walking every morning. So we headed out and I was able to walk across the draw bridge and then we toured some of the shops on the other side of the inlet. We walked about 2 miles and will try and keep that same pace for awhile. We came home and cleaned the house then took showers. We then went to the post off to mail some stuff to the kids and sent Kyles's birthday card. We then went to the whole food store and the grocery store. Beth took a nap and I tried but no luck. It was a nice day with the sun shinning and temperatures in the low 80's. We could not go to the beach as Man of war are out again and the sea was rough.

Day of adventure...

We were up around 8am. We had breakfast and took showers. We went to target to get a new trash can and several other thing. We then decided to headed up to Boca Raton. We are going to the Melting Pot for Beth's birthday and wanted to see where it was. We then drove around and found an indoor mall by the Stir Crazy restaurant. We want to try them as they were suppose to be like the Mongolian BBQ they have in KC. It was good but not the same. The had a Container store right next door and we went in for some shopping. We then came home and put everything away. It was a great day of driving around and shopping. It was 60 degrees and sunny all day.

Rainy...

We were up around 8am and it was rainy and would all day long. We took showers and headed to BJ's wholesale club. We stocked up on meat and a few other things then came home for lunch. We had appointments to see Dr. Mike for adjustments. We then went to staples and came home. I fixed pork chops and salad for dinner.

Stocking up...

We both slept until 8:30am. It was nice to sleep in our own bed and pillows. We took showers and had some breakfast. we left and went to Bed Bath & Beyond, AC Moore, and Wal-mart. we needed to stock up on groceries as we had nothing. We had leftover pizza when we got home and then we both settled in on the computers. We both were working on different things and watched part of the Pro Bowl as there was nothing else on. It got to 80 degrees  and felt good.

Back at the condo...

We were up around 8am. I started a load of laundry and started packing up stuff in the room. We left around 11am and headed out of town. We stopped for lunch and made it to the condo by 2:15pm. Beth went to mass and I unpacked the suitcases and other stuff from Disney. We did our first delivery of pizza to the condo. It was really good and will stay on the list. We are both ready for bed, but it is way to early.

Last day at disney

We were up around 8am. I made breakfast and took showers. We decided to go off Disney prosperity and went to the Disney outlet and to a theme park outlet store. We found several good bargains and then headed back to the resort. We headed to the park around 6pm and did several rides and watched the fireworks one last time. We will pack and head to the condo in the morning. It has been a good trip.

Rainy but good

We were up around 8am. It was raining and looked like it was going to stay all day. We had breakfast in the room and then went to Magic kingdom.  The lines seemed short on most rides because of the rain. We found a great dry place to watch the afternoon parade. We then watched the mass exit and decided to just ride the train around the park and let them thin out. It was a good idea as we walked right on the monorail. I did a load of laundry and dishes then went to dinner. Tomorrow is going to be a sunny day, yea.

Rainy day...

We were up around 6:30am. We had reservations at EPCOT for breakfast. We had fruit, cinnamon rolls, bacon,ham,eggs,potatoes,waffles,and biscuits and gravey. Boy was it good and were stuffed when we left. It was rainy so the crowds were small. We were on a couple rides then some shopping. We headed back to the room and rested most of the afternoon. We had dinner in the cafe downstairs. We did inventory of the purple box so we knew what was in it and what to bring back next time.

Magic kingdom

We were up around 8am. I fixed bacon and eggs for breakfast before heading to Magic kingdom. We did the Haunted mansion and Peter Pan flight. We the had lunch before getting on the seven deaf ts mine train coaster. It was good until we stopped on the tracks going h up hill. It kinda hurt our necks after awhile and then we finally started again. Kinda took away the whole effect of the ride. We found out that someone barfed on the track and it had to be cleaned up. We left there and went downtown for some shopping. We came back to the room around 4:30pm. We had a Lonestar coupon that needed to be used so we went there for dinner. The temp reached 77 degrees and shorts were in store all day.

Great day....

We had a wake up call for 6:30am but did nit get up until 7:45am. We took showers and some breakfast before going catching the bus to Animal kingdom.  We did the safaris and saw a lot of animals out sunning themselves as it was a little chilly again. We they did the Lion king and Finding memo shows. We had some lunch and did a couple more thing before heading back to the room. We both took a nap til 5pm and then had dinner in the room. We took the monorail to Magic Kingdom as we has reservation for the Wishes dessert party. We had great seats for the firework and had all the desserts you could eat. We the rode the Haunted Mansion ride twice before seeing the electric parade with a great view. We did a little shopping and back to the room by 10:30pm. It was a great day.

Hollywood studio

We were up around 6:30am and took showers. We loaded the car, stopped for donuts, and head to Disney by 8:10am. We got to the resort and checked in, but our room was not ready. So we checked our bags and caught the bus to Hollywood Studio. It only 43 degrees, so we stayed in the sun until it warmed up a bit. We did our 3 fans spass rides and had some lunch. I had chicken and waffles and Beth had nuggets and fries. We had our picture with Darth Vader as Star Wars is big this year. We headed back to our room around 4pm and we are on the 9th floor with a great view. We watched Denver beat New England and loved it. We are all unpacked and watching the second game.

WIndy all day....

We were up around 8am. It was a very windy day and a little chilly. We got dressed and had to go to Staples as the printer was out of ink. We came home and had lunch and looked at all the pictures of snow at home. We finished packed for the Disney trip and Beth went to mass with Bill and Betty. We then all went to out to dinner and had a great time.

Rainy but no snow here...

We were up around 8am. We left and took the box back to the cable store and then went to Wal-Mart. We stopped for lunch at the Jukebox diner and came home. Beth hooked up the new box and was on the phone with the cable company for 30 minutes, but everything is working. YEAAAAA. It was rainy cats and dogs all day long, but at least it was not snow. We talked to Rylee and Dawn around 7:15pm and the snow had started. Rylee has concerned with it being a blizzard that they had enough food. How sweet. I am hoping Kyle gets off work early and home before the major parts hit. We will check on him tomorrow as I am sure several people will also.

Almost had it all.....

I got up at 7am and took a shower. I wanted to get laundry done and could not start until 8am. So a little before 8am, I went done the hall only to find someone already had the washer going. REALLY.  So I waited 40 minutes and went back and found the washer empty. So I started the process of every 40 minutes walking down the hall to put the clothes dryer from the washers and start the washer again, then walk back down the hall. The office came up to talk to Beth about some transaction on her account and then we visited until the cable guy came. He was only able to install the internet and the phone. The work order did not have cable boxes on it and he could not give them to us. I understand the process, but what else could go wrong with trying to get everything set up. So the cable guy left around 2pm and we had some lunch. We went to the satellite store for Comcast and were able to get the cable boxes. We came home and 30 minutes later we had cable, BUTTTTT the internet was not working correctly. So Beth was transferred to the Internet department and 1 1/2 hours later it was determined we needed a new box. Again REALLY. So back to the satellite store tomorrow and hopefully everything will finally work.

Cable tomorrow...

I got up around 7:30am and Beth slept until 9am. We had breakfast and took showers. We went to Target as it was chilly again this morning and will be a couple days at Disney. We needed a couple more long sleeve t-shirts and a few other things. We came home and had lunch. The cable guy is coming tomorrow from 10am to noon. It will be nice to watch some normal TV and have our onw cable. I fixed meatloaf for dinner and it was sure tasty. Looks like PA is suppose to get 8 to 18 inches of snow on Friday night and Saturday.

Cable on the way...

We were up around 8am. It was a little chilly and very windy. I did one load of laundry and we headed out to Bed Bath & Beyond and then to the grocery store. The cable guy called and will be here on Thursday to get our cable, internet, and phone all set up. It never got above 65 today and we had to put long pants on this evening. I talked to Kyle today and had him add some stuff we forgot to the package he is send on Thursday. They are expecting a large snow storm on Friday night and all day Saturday. Bitter cold temperatures are hitting them now. Glad we left when we did.

Computers working...

We were up around 8am. We took showers and Beth went down to talk to the office manager about out cable and internet. Of course the office was closed because of MLK day. So we hope to get a call tomorrow. We then went to Best Buy, IKEA, and BJ's wholesale club. We finally made it home around 3pm. We were able to get our computers working for now. We watched the weather today and the weather lady said winter was here cause it only got to 65 degrees today. I like winters here.

Ready to go.

We were up around 4am this morning and not at all happy about it. Kyle was still up so I got the kitchen floor vacuumed and mopped by 5am. We spent the rest of the day finishing packing and cleaning. Beth had get the car all gassed up and also got it washed. we had to go pick up all the jewelry we had appraised and to the bank. We then to see Dr. Bill for adjustments. DJ came over for a visit and to see Kyle. We moved stuff in the garage to get the snow blower in and got most of the car loaded. We are going to Dawn's house for dinner and then home to bed. We are leaving at 4am tomorrow and will post our progress on Facebook. Warm weather here we come.

Count down...

The snow was still on the ground this morning. We got up at 5:30am. It sure made the day go really slow. I got laundry done and we are almost finished packing. Dawn and Rylee came for dinner and Dawn finished getting her stuff out of the guest room. Kyle moved his stuff in on his lunch break, so the room is filled again. It was so cold all day. The wind blew most of the day and the with the wind chill it was only 16 degrees. We are getting up at 4am tomorrow and I know I will be so ready for bed by 7pm. LOL

Snow...

We were up at 7am this morning. We are trying to get up a little earlier each day , so when Friday comes and getting up 3am will not be that bad. we picked up Dawn and went to shady maple for breakfast. Boy was it good and filling. Beth then took me to get my truck. She took Dawn home and I had to go get my new glasses and contacts. I got gas and came home. Around 1pm, it started snowing like crazy and lasted about an hour. Nothing stuck and it all melted. I cold frond is coming through and will only be a high of 28 tomorrow with wind gusts. We continued packing and are about done. I took Kyle to BJ's to get some stuff when him for when we leave. Not much else, just want to get to warmer weather.

COLDDDDDDDDDDDD

We were up around 8:30am. Beth had a doctor's appointment around 11am. I did some cleaning and packing. We had some lunch and Kyle stopped by to drop some of his stuff and chatted a bit. It was cold all day and the wind was blowing that did not help. WE picked up Dawn around 5:30pm and meet Lorraine at Longhorn for dinner. It was a great time and good food. We are now the last of the college football games.

Empty Nest...

Beth was up and at church by 8am. I got up and took a shower around 8:45am. It was kinda strange have no people or animals around this morning. Beth stopped and got breakfast at WAWA before coming home. Wendy stopped by for a visit and we had a nice chat. The football games started and no surprises. I had to take my truck in for an inspection tomorrow and then we went out to dinner. We started packing for Florida and are looking forward to warm weather.                                       

And then there were 2...

We were up and had showers by 9am. I had to g to the grocery store and pick up a few things for dinner and a birthday cake for Dawn. We picked up Buster's ashes today and they when in a nice wooden box, had a paw print in clay and a certificate. It was a very nice package and we did not even know we were getting all that. Dawn and Rylee came over just as the Chiefs game was coming on. It was a good win and we move on to the next round. Rylee and I made homemade pizza for Dawn birthday dinner and then had cake. We are not watching the other AFC game and hoping for a Steeler win as I like our chances against New England. It was another rainy gloomy day and will so glad to get to Florida.

Laundry day...

We were up around 8:30am. We took showers and the bug guy came around 10:30am. I had 5 loads of laundry and took forever. I cleaned out the files and did totals for medical expenses for Beth. It is now time to start packing clothes for Florida. We had Chinese for dinner and yum yum.

Count down on cleaning...

I got up around 8am and took a shower. I headed to the out to the new doctor's office. The doctor I went to moved to a new practice, so I signed papers to have my records transferred and got a new script for bloodwork. I then came home and Beth and I went downstairs. we put away all the Christmas stuff and cleaned up. I still have to vacuum, but that will wait for another day. I got our bathroom and bedroom cleaned. Only a few more room and cleaning will be done. Dawn and Rylee came for dinner and left around 7pm. Beth was able to get the Christmas light and other outside Christmas items put away.

Long rough day...

We were both up around 6:30am. We took showers and headed to the vet office. They were ready for us and took us right back. A lot of people that knew buster at the office came by and said they good-byes. The got buster all prepped and then the vet came in and explained everything that would happen and spent some time with buster. She asked if we were ready and then administer the shot. It did not take long and then we said our good-byes. We came home and rested. We washed all of buster's bedding. We threw out the rug in the living room as it was time for it to go. DJ stopped by and stayed for a couple house. After she left, we both took naps as it had been a rough morning. I started getting some of the stuff we wanted to take to Florida ready. If the weather holds, we are planning on leaving on Jan. 15th. It was sunny, but cold today.

Cold day...

Neither one of us slept much last night. I got up around 7:30am and took a shower. Beth then got up and took her shower. We went to see Dr. Bill for adjustments and came home. I had an eye appointment at 10:15am to a check on my contacts and to order the new ones. When I got home Beth said our vet would not be in until tomorrow and we have an appointment at 9:10am. Buster slept all day and only ate a couple piece of chicken. I put some of the Christmas stuff away and cleaned a little. Beth was able to get a nap in, but I could not. It was cold all day and the wind was blowing. I think the high was only 30 and will be the same tomorrow.

And then there were 2...

Beth and I got up around 9am. I left and went to Costco for a few things for the last football party tomorrow. Kyle came by to drop off part of his car payment and Dawn and Rylee came by around 2:45pm. Jo picked Rylee and Dawn went back to her place and Kyle left. It is just the two of for now. Buster went back to not doing well and we will have to see if we even make it at all to Florida. The last of the bowls game were on tonight and the only one left is the BCS championship on the 11th. It was cold today, but the sun was out for a little bit.

Happy New Year

We went to Best Buy to get a new router. Ours made the wireless run very slow and it was getting annoying. We then spent the rest of the day watch the bowl games. Looking back on 2015 with mixed emotions. We spent the first part of it trying to figure out what was wrong with my health and getting it resolved. The middle part of the year was spent on planning, having, and celebrating our wedding. The last part was spent with Dawn and Rylee at our house, dawn selling her house and buying a new one. So the year was very busy and we look forward to some quite time this year. Happy New Year to all and I hope yours is all you make of it.
