Nope, no water

We were up around 8am. we had breakfast and got dressed. We went up to Dawn's house and started laundry and got 6 buckets of water. We came home and emptied  them in to the tub and filled all the stools. We then went up for another load of water and stored it in the mudroom. We went swimming after lunch and then went to Dawn's again to take showers and get the get the last load of laundry. We came home and had leftovers for dinner. We still do not have the markings for the guy to be able to dig. So it looks like we will not be getting water any time soon. It is nice not doing dishes, but limiting your potty flushes is for the birds.

Still no water....

Beth was up around 7am expecting the guys to call about fixing our water pipe. She finally had to call at 10am to see what was going on. The said someone would be here around noon to look at it. I left and went to Dawn's to do a load of laundry. The guy came and said we needed to have the area marked for buried lines and they he could come out and dig the hole. So the wait is on for that to happen. We went to Target to get some wipes to at least take a spit bath in the morning and evening. we will go to Dawn's to take a shower tomorrow and do some more laundry.

Water water water

We were up around 8:30am. I took a shower and we had breakfast. We were on the computer until lunch and then I went to the store. Beth wanted cucumber salad for dinner/ Dawn and Eileen were coming over for bar-b-que chicken and backed potatoes. I went into the offer around 5pm and hear some high pitch buzzing noise that was coming from downstairs. We raced downstairs and found water on the floor. The little watchdog water alarm saved us a big mess. We started sweeping the water in the drain, but could not find where it was coming from. After about 10 minutes, We found it was coming in between the wall and the floor. Beth called the plumber and turned off the pump. I threw 3 of the moving blankets on the floor to soak up the water and try to create a flow of water to the drain. The plumber got here about 20 minutes later and looked around. he determined that the pipe that brings the water from the pump to the house was probably broken. We would let his boss know and they would call us in the morning to let us know when they could come out and dig up the pipe and fix it. So the four of us went to dinner and had a great time visiting despite the water issues. We were able to fill the tab and have some water set aside for coffee and drinking. Let just hope they can come fix it tomorrow.

Buster's new bed...

We both slept until after 8:30am. We had breakfast and took showers. Buster had a grooming appointment at 11:30am and Beth had a hair cut at 12:15pm. I did 2 loads of laundry and washed Buster's bedding. He needed a new bed for the living room as the other one was falling apart. I had to go to the post office, get gas, go to AC Moore, and to the bank. Kyle stopped by for a visit and then left for work. Beth wen to pick up Buster and after she got home, we went to get a new dog bed. We had dinner and watch some TV.

More car stuff...

I got up at 7am and took a shower. I had breakfast and Kyle picked me up at 8am. We went to CJ tires to get new tires, an oil change, and a front end alignment on Kyle's car. After inspecting the car, they found that the front outside tie rod was bad and needed to be replaced. So they were able to do most things on the car, but had to wait for the tie rod to be delivered. So after 2 1/2 hours, it was finally done. Kyle dropped me off at home and Beth and I had lunch. Beth went out to cut grass and I did 3 loads of towels and sheets. I made Shepard pie for dinner and Beth and Dawn went swimming. I was too tired to swim and worked on getting our fast passes for the Sept. trip to Disney. So no alarms for tomorrow and I can sleep as late as I want. Yea

Another busy day...

Beth was up and at church by 8am. I got up and took a shower and Payton was up. Beth got home and round 9:15 and brought donuts home. We had breakfast and Payton and I watch Jurassic Park 1. I did his laundry and we took him home around noon. We came home and worked on our vinylmation collection. We then went to Lowe's and picked up a few things for Beth to finish her wedding project. We came home and I had to leave again as we forgot to take Payton's meds home with him and he needed them. So I dropped them off and we went up to see Dawn and had dinner with her. I had to water all the plants as it is going to be hot the next few days with no rain insight.

Car shopping and movie watching...

We were up at 7am and went to pick up Kyle. Payton stayed with Maggie while we went looking for cars. We went to Plymouth Meeting first. Beth said she could hear dueling banjos. We looked at several cars and the one Kyle loved was going to cost him an arm and a leg for insurance. So he made a good choice and walked away. He saw another post and talked to the guy and set up an appointment for noon. We stopped and had some lunch first and headed to see the car. It was a 2004 Nissan Altima with 130,000 miles. We test drove it and Kyle noticed it was shifting rough and the check engine light came on. The guy was able to determine the issue and said it would have it fixed if we wanted to come back in an hour. So we left and headed to DJ's house to wait and to talk about the car. It was in great shape and a good price. It had been a hot and sweated day and we were on the final leg of car shopping. One more test dive and everything checked out. So off we went to the title company and got everything in Kyle's name. It needs new tires and an oil change which will take place on Monday. Beth, Payton, and I stopped at the store and came home. I fixed steak and buttered noodles for dinner. Payton and I went to see Jurassic World. We were back home by 9:30pm. It has been a long hot day,, but everything got done and I am so ready for bed.

Good and Bad...

Beth and I were up around 8am. we took shower and Payton finally got up around 9:30am. The guy came around 11am to look at our range hood in the kitchen. After a hour, he could not find the reason it will not work. It is getting power, but that is it. It is 7 years old, so he said it would cost more to get it fixed than to replace. Not sure I agree with him and a new one cost $1500. so we might get another person in to look at it first or go with a cheaper new one. So we took Payton to a place in reading called The Works. It is a restaurant and gaming center. We had a great time and then took Payton to see the chiropractor at 5pm. We stopped at the store and came home. We had tacos for dinner and then Beth and Payton went swimming. So it was a good and bad day.

Payton racing...

we were up around 7:30am. we took showers and Dawn picked us up around 8:45am. we looked at 3 townhouse. One of them was a dump and I am not sure how they expect to get $199 thousand for it. I might give you $140. There was one that was ok, but we wanted to see one more. So the relator was able to get an appointment tonight at 6:30pm and Rylee could go see it and the ok one. It was a dream house. Thy are in the process of painting, but it was by far the best and the cheapest. We picked up DJ from work and took her to the track. We were getting Payton for the next 3 day. He was racing a 60 lap race tonight. At lap 19 he got hit hard from the back a few times and came into the pits crying. He had a bad headache and was done for the night. So on top of the strep he has, now you can add a headache. We were going to Knobble's amusement park tomorrow with Dawn and Rylee, but not sure if that will happen. I also was phone interviewed by a reporter from the Associated Press out of DC. She want to talk about our wedding and able us adding a quote from Judge Kennedy's ruling. She will let me know when it will be published, so I will keep you posted.

Nice rainbow...

We were up around 8am this  morning. We had breakfast and Dawn came down. We are going with her tomorrow to look at 3 townhouses. We went to BJ's for a few things and had some lunch. We came home watch some of our programs. We had some dinner and then went swimming with Dawn and Rylee. The water was just like bath water and really warm. You could see a storm was headed in. Rylee and I got out and changed. Beth and Dawn stayed on the deck. A nice rainbow appeared before the sun went down.

Marriage certificate...

We were up around 7:30am. We headed to see Dr. Bill in separate cars. After seeing Dr. Bill, I headed to the post office and Beth came home. She had a funeral to go to at 10am. I had a hair appointment at 11am. We had some lunch and then went to Reading to apply for our marriage certificate. We had to swear on the bible that we gave correct information and did not have and communicable diseases. Kinda strange, but we got the certificate and came home. It was another hot and muggy day.

Feeling Hot Hot Hot...

We were up around 8am this morning. We had breakfast and Beth took a shower and went to church. I folded laundry and put it away. When Beth got home, we had lunch and went in the pool. It was well over 90 today and the pool felt really good. We talked about all the stuff we have to get done in the next 3 weeks. We got our a couple hours later and took a shower. We then went to Target and Party city. We had leftovers for dinner and then I had to water and Beth took out the trash. We are going to apply for our marriage certificate tomorrow. I am so excited.

Congrats to Julie and Bethany.....

Rylee woke me around 8am. We got up and I fixed her milk and we watched some TV. Beth got up and I made cinnamon rolls for breakfast. Dawn came down and we went to the movies to see the minion movie. We then came home and Dawn and Rylee went to their house and Jo was picking up Rylee at 3pm. Dawn came back around 4:30pm and had Julie and Bethany with her. They got married this morning, so congrates to them. We talked for about 3 hours and then went to dinner. It was a good day.

Laundry...

We were up around 9am. We had breakfast and I took a shower. I started laundry and then took a package to the post office and got ice. We had lunch and Beth went to cut grass. We had the gang over for pizza and swimming. The water was a little cool, so only Beth, Dawn, and the kids got in. It was a fun evening.

Planting...

We were up around 8:30am. We had breakfast and got dressed. I dug up the crape myrtle tree and took it to Colonial Gardens for a replacement. I found they were still accepting the colonial buck, so everything I got was half price. So I picked up a few day lilies, and a couple bushes, and for flowers for the pots. I was back home around 11a and got the crape myrtle planted. We had lunch and then went out to plant the rest of the flowers. Beth pulled weeds from Pooh's corner. I went to pick up my computer and they found no virus on it or any of my external hard drive. Dawn and Rylee came over for dinner around 5:30pm. After dinner, Beth and Rylee got in the pool and Dawn and I watched. We then had smores. Yum Yum

OMG the rain poured...

We woke in the middle of the night to lots of thunder and lighting. It rained so hard the gutters could not hold it. We got some rain in the basement, but not a lot. It rained 2 + inches in a very short time. It then rained off and on all day long. I worked in the scrapbook room all day. Beth went to see her aunt in the hospital and got home around 5:30pm. We went up to Dawn and Rylee's house for dinner. We had pork chops and rice. Tomorrow is work outside day as with the rain, it should be easy to get the weeds pulled.

Scrapbooking day...

We were up around 9am today. We both agree we have to get up earlier and will start tomorrow. I had to take my computer back in. A couple of the problems they fixed quickly, but I want a deep virus check done on my external hard drives before I hooked it up to the new computer. So I should get it back on Friday. I came home and then went downstairs to work on some scrapbook stuff. I came up around 6pm to fix dinner and then went back down until 9pm.

Disney day....

We did not get up until 9am. We had breakfast and then worked on getting our Disney vinylmation I order. We then added another day onto our stray at Vero beach. Picked up a reservation for BOG breakfast when we are at Disneyworld, and a few other Disney things. We finally took showers around 12:30pm. I had to go cancel the car reservation for the week mom is in town and saved $140 buck by doing on the internet. Dawn came by and Beth had to go see Dr. Bill at 3:45pm. We had hoagies for dinner and little pop up shower occurred and cooled thing off a little.

fun in the sun...

We were up around 8 and had breakfast. Beth went out to cut the grass and I went to work in the scrapbook room. Rylee came down around noon to get me to go swimming. So Rylee and I got in the pool , Dawn went to go look at a house, and Beth was cutting grass. About an hour later everyone was in the pool. DJ, Maggie, the boys, and Kyle's girlfriend came by for a swim around 3:30pm. Dawn left to take Rylee to Jo and came back. We ordered pizza for dinner and did more swimming until 8pm when everyone left. It was a nice hot, sunny day and just right for swimming.

Nyla home...

We were up around 8am this morning. we had breakfast and took showers. I went downstairs to world on stuff and Beth was upstairs for awhile and then went to pick up her computer. Dawn and Rylee came by for swimming and we had burgers, hotdogs, and corn on the cob for dinner. I got out before dinner and the rest of them got back in after dinner. Jennifer called tonight to go over some questions she had about taking the wedding pictures. Rylee did some skinny dipping with the lights on in the pool. She thought that was really fun, until she got out and it was really cold. DJ came to pick up Nyla and took her home. Buster and her had a good time this week and her will miss her.

No rain friday...

We were up around 8am. Dawn came by around 10am and we headed to Hobby Lobby. We then had lunch at Red Robin and was back home around 3pm. I went to pick up Rylee from school and stopped by the store. We had dinner and then Rylee and I went to get her a birthday gift for tomorrow party and Beth and Dawn got the pool ready. We then went swimming for awhile. It was finally a day with no rain and sun shinning.

Another pop up shower...

We were up around 8am. we had breakfast and took showers. Beth went outside to pull some weeds and I did laundry and cleaned. Beth came in around noon 1pm and we had lunch. She headed to the eye doctor to get new glasses. Dawn and Rylee came by for dinner around 5:30pm. We had waffles and bacon. It started getting dark real fast and then the sky opened and dropped about an inch of rain and then stopped about an hour and half later. The light went out a few times and the winds was really blowing. It has been a wet summer so far and not much pool time.

Not much....

I did not get up until 8:30am. It was after 10am before we had breakfast and took showers. We headed to Target and Bed Bath& Beyond. We had lunch when we got home and really did nothing after that. Beth worked on her deck and I watched some TV shows I had taped. We had a good down pour, but only lasted about 10 minutes.

More rain....

We were up and out the door by 8:30am. We had appointments with Dr. Bill and then headed to BJ's. Beth brother meet us there to do shopping and we headed home. We had some lunch and Beth went to the dentist to get her mouth guard. It started to get cloudy and the rain came in around 6pm. They expect rain most of the week and high temperatures.

Way to go USA women's soccer...

We got up around 7:45am this morning. We had breakfast and took showers. We headed to Best Buy and the grocery store. We came home and had some lunch. Beth went to cut the grass and I finished making the wedding chocolates. We watch women's soccer and were so happy for the USA women's soccer team.

Happy 4th of July...

We were up around 8am. We had breakfast and took showers. It was a quite day around the house. It rained most of the day and was damp. Dawn stopped by with Rylee around 2pm. She wanted to say goodbye to Nyla before she went with Jo. I spent the day making milk chocolate mickey heads for the wedding, I am about half way done and hope to finish tomorrow. Not sure how much firework noise we will have with all the rain, so hoping for a quite night. So Happy July 4th to all and hope your day went well.

Fun day....

We were up around 8am. We had breakfast and took showers. Kim dropped off Jojo around 11am. I finished putting the rest f the food together for our picnic and we headed out. Dawn and Jojo arrived right behind us. We had fried chicken, pasta salad, cheese. We then had strawberry shortcake kabobs for dessert. We played with the frisbee and on the playground. We then left and came home and went swimming. After a couple hours, we got dressed and went to the Norco faire. We were there until 6pm and took Jojo home. We then went to get some pizza for dinner and came home. We then left around 9:45pm to go to the mall and got a spot to see fireworks. The fireworks were really cool. What a very fun filled day.

Busy day....

Nyla was very restless last night , so both of us did not get much sleep. I was up at 6:30am and Beth got up at 8am. We had breakfast and took showers. Kim dropped off Jojo and I headed to Target and the grocery store. We had lunch and I continued the laundry. Kim picked up Jojo around 1pm. We both took a little nap and I had to get up and start dinner. Dane and Rylee came by around 5:30pm and it began to rain. We were going to the fair, but will try again tomorrow. Beth had to take her computer in as it was getting weird messages.

Good day....

We were up around 8am. We had breakfast and took a shower. We headed out to pick up Dawn and then to the festival. We got there right as it opened. We walked around for an hour or so and then had lunch. I love the food there and crafts there. We headed home around 3pm and stopped by the  little farmer's stand and got some tomatoes, cherries, and blueberries. We dropped Dawn off and came home. We left around 4:30pm to go pick up Rylee from school. We stopped by the grocery store the way home. Dawn was already at our house and we had dinner. Maggie came by around 7:30pm and dropped of Nyla. We will be watching her the next 10 days while they are in KC.
