Almost ready...

We were up and out the door by 8:30am . We had appointments with Dr. Bill for much needed adjustments. We then went to Dunkin for breakfast as I had to make sure the new card worked. We  then came home and I started laundry. Beth worked on getting the bills and her taxes done. we finished packing except for shoes and will do that tomorrow. I have some last minute cleaning and we will be gone. After dinner, we went to the movie theater as the boys cars were in a car show/ fund raiser. We then stopped by Dawn and Jo's to leave a key for Linda as she will be house sitting. It was nice and sunny here today and finally no rain.

Need a big boat...

Beth slept in this morning and went to 10:30am mass. We had lunch when she came home and then looked a more condo sites. We found 5 or 6 more and sent them to rob. so we should have a good pool to look at this week. We had to go to Bed Bath and Beyond. I still continued to rain all day and the river was out of it banks. We have flooding warnings going all around us. good thing we live on top of the hill. We finished packing and will leave Tuesday night for Florida. we should get there some time on Thursday. Our plan is to start home on Monday, but that is subject to change. At least we will be warm for a few days.

Got a boat????

It was already raining when we woke this morning and has not stopped all day long. Anybody got a boat??? We had breakfast and took showers. It was kinda chilly all day, so w really can't wait to leave for Florida on Tuesday. we had some lunch and I began to pack for the trip. Beth worked on getting her Pogo badges most of the day. We did get some listing form Rob, but most of them were on a golf course and that is not where we want to be. So we will see how all this plays out next week.

Running in the rain...

We were up around 8am this morning. I took a shower and headed to the dentist around 9:15am. I was not looking forward to the visit. so the temp crown came off and the new one had to be glued on. Well she warned me the glue would hurt for a bit would go away. Well let me tell you that it hurt like hell and brought tears to my eyes. It lasted about 10 minutes, but then it was gone. I came home and we headed to Reading. It had been raining all day, but then temperatures were in the mid 50's. We had several places to go and finally made it home around 2:30pm. Beth left around 5:15pm to go with Dawn to pick up the boys as they were staying the week-end with Dawn and Jo. We will start packing tomorrow for the Florida trip. The weather will be in the mid 80's all week. Yeaaaa

No call...

Beth was up and out the door by 8:45am. I got up and got dressed for the gym. When Beth got home, I left and went to the gym. I then went to Target and picked up a few things. we waited for the realtor to call to talk about our trip, but he never called. We did send him out additional listings and are up to 12 listings. Dawn and Rylee came by around 5:15pm and we had tacos for dinner and ice cream for dessert. So tomorrow is dentist day and my new crown is put on at 9:30am. Oh joy.....

Snow here and gone...

We woke up around 7:30am this morning. It had snowed out, but it was nothing really to talk about. Beth took her shower and went to go give blood for her doctor's appointment next week. I then took a shower and had breakfast. We left around noon to go pick up my new insert for my shoe and then went to lunch. The insert should not allow my pain to show up again. Beth spent the rest of the afternoon cleaning her desk and doing bills. I got caught up on my TV programs and updated the condo list. we now have 12 condos to look at new week in Florida. Can't wait to get into some warm weather, even if it is only for a week. All the snow melted where the sun was shining as it was still bitter cold today and windy.

Snow again...

We both slept until 8am this morning. I went to the gym and then came home. It was already cold and snow was expected. I was able to search the internet and found 4 more condos for us to look at. Beth was able to get her bills done and I need to do my tomorrow. The snow finally came early afternoon and it does not appear it will be a lot. Let's hope so and we are so ready for spring.

Found it....

We got up this morning and took showers. we had breakfast and decided to go by Giant one more time to see if my wallet was there. It was there and thank god. They said they tried to look me up in the phone book, but I was not there. But at least it was found. We headed to Ikea to look at some possible stuff for the condo. We had lunch and then went to KOP to check out new sleep number beds. We then went to the new Container store. OMG what a great store. We will be going back for more shopping later. We finally made it home around 2:30pm and Beth took a nap. It was really cold today and they say snow is on the way tomorrow. We heard from Rob, the realtor in Florida and we will be headed to see some condos. We are excited about the process.

Chores....

Beth was up and at church by 8am. I got up and took a shower. I had so many chores to do toady, as the last 3 day I have been in front of the computer looking at condo listings. So I had to fold and put away the laundry, clean the kitchen, clean the bathroom, and do a load of laundry. Beth was working on the garage since both cars were in out. I helped her put some stuff in the attic and we had some lunch. After lunch, I was able to get back on the computer and look for more listings. We 8 places we want to see and expect to make a trip to Florida the first week of April. It was sure cold here today and will be colder tomorrow. Come on spring, bring the warm weather.

Lost wallet...

We were up around 8am this morning. We took showers and had breakfast. We went to leave to go to Colonial gardens and I could not find me wallet. We looked everywhere for it and could not find it anywhere. I know I had it at the grocery store and cane straight home. We were to the store, but no one had turned one in. We checked all out accounts and saw no activity on the credit cards. So after tearing the house apart, we still had no luck. So the first card I called was Bank of America. I looked at my on-line account and the ending digits were different. come to find out there was a new card already issued as my old card be comprised, what ever that means. I did have my debit card, so that card was ok. I called on the chase card. Beth called on her card we have together. So all credit cards are being replaced. I have a couple places to call on Monday and have to go to the DVM to get a replacement driver licenses. So my Costco and BJ's membership card have been replaced. I think I had a couple more cards, but not sure what they were. So I am glad we have a jump start on everything and came hopefully get the rest on Monday. So what a shitty day. The good news is we did find a condo we like a lot and may be going to Florida soon.

Doing searches...

We were up by 7:30am this morning. That gave us enough time to get awake before the 8am call. Rob called right at 8am. we talked about what we wanted and where we were looking. It lasted about 20 minutes. He said he would send us some info this afternoon. So we took showers and waited. We  left around 1:30pm to go to Oaks. Beth went to see the car show and I went to Target. When I was done, I waited n the parking lot for Beth to finish which was not long after I parked. We then went to Bj's and picked up a few things. We then went to the grocery store and came home. We had invited Dawn and Jo for dinner of waffles and ice cream, but they were still to far out to get here in time for dinner. We did get an email, but it listed all the 3/2 properties that had sold in the last 6 months. It gave us some information and helped us look at several things. HOA fees will be the biggest things we have an issue with. So I spent the rest of the afternoon and evening looking at places and discussing lot of things and not any farer than we were. So all we can do is wait and see what rod sends us.

Meeting in the morning...

We both got up around 8:30am this morning. I went to the gym and Beth took her shower. She was just headed out the door when I got home. She went up to spend some time with Lolly. Gayle came by to get the old car for the car show this week-end. Beth came home and had to give her the insurance stuff. The guy also came by to remove the snow blower and service the lawn mower. I finally got my shower and we then had some lunch. It was in the low 50's today but felt a little chilly. We were able to make contact with a realtor and will have a conference call in the morning. I am excited and ready to get the process rolling. I fixed steak for dinner and then looked at some more condo listings.

Rain Rain Rain

We both were up around 8:30am. we had breakfast and took showers. DJ came by for a visit and she left around 1:30pm. We had lunch and Kim came by around 2:15pm. The rain rolled in around 2pm and was pouring several times and is now raining cats and dogs. Most of the snow should be gone, but the ground is really soggy now. But at least it is going to be spring soon.

Gym Time...

Beth was up very early this morning, but I did not roll out of bed until 8:45am. We went to the gym and Beth cancelled her membership as they were going to charge us both $40 buck each to change. It was  cheaper to just cancel hers and keep mine. She will have to sign in and go with me, but no big deal. We came home and I took a shower and headed to Wal-Mart and the grocery store. Beth was up spending time with Lolly. the cat. We spent the rest of the time looking at condos in Florida. we did send a message to an agent to start the looking process. We had left over chicken, ribs, and corn on the cob for dinner. Yum Yum

Snow????

Beth was up and at church by 8am. I got up and took a shower and waited to be picked up. We went up to Dawn and Jo's house and played with the cat for a couple hours. We then came home and I cleaned the kitchen and we had lunch. we watched in the kitchen with David, but did not buy anything. It was cold here today and snow may be on the way. We will see in the morning.

Can the year get any worse?????

We were up around 8:30am. We took showers and had breakfast. We then headed out to go to Hobby Lobby. we were looking for picture college frames for the pictures we took on vacation. We were able to find what we were looking for and it was on sale. We had some lunch at CiCi pizza and it was really good. And now I am having an issue with the tooth that got the temp crown. I will call the dentist office tomorrow and see what they say. We stopped by Wal-Mart and then came home around 3pm. So this year I have had foot issues, knee issues, and now tooth issues. Can it we just stop and start the year over?????

Cold as heck...

I have slept great the last 2 night. I think the new foam is working well. Beth has a little issue as it raised the top of the bed up and she has a hard time getting in bed. Jeff came by to pick up a couple things and then we left and when to the post office. We then left and went to reading. We had Chipotle's for lunch and it was yummy. We then went to Barnes and Noble and to the Amish market. It was so bitter cold out today. It was 25 degrees with a 40 mph wind. Can you say COLD. Dawn and Rylee came for dinner. Rylee had her first taste of Pop Rocks and she was so funny with the fizzy in her mouth. She loved them. They are heading to Florida on Saturday for a week and we will miss them.

Rain...

I did not get up until 8:30am this morning. I got dressed and went to the gym. Beth was 'Not Feeling It', so she stayed home and started laundry. I finished laundry and got it folded and put away. It was nice today and a lot of the snow melted just in time for all the rain. Waiting for the floods now. we picked up my truck as it was all done with the year. I spent the rest of the day going through the trip pictures and picking out ones we want to print and frame.

Changes....

Beth was up early and at Dawn and Jo's house by 7am. The bug guy was coming between 7 and 9am. I got up around 7:30am and took a shower. I left around 8:45am to go to the dentist. It was prep day for a new crown. I guess I forgot what that was with the last on and I was not prepared to have 2 shots and drilling. She found a piece of decay and had to do a small filling. I was out of there in an hour and have to go back in 2 weeks to get the temporary crown removed and the permanent added. I came home and Beth was already home. We had some lunch and I left around 12:45pm for a cut and color. I was back home around 2pm and my tooth was really hurting. Kim stopped by for a few minutes before picking up Jojo from school. I had order and new 4 inch mattress topper for our bed and it came, so I had to roll it out let it rise to the 4 inches since it was rolled tight for shipping. After dinner, we had to take my truck in for inspection tomorrow. It was nice today and got to almost 70 degrees. Most of the snow is gone off the roof and there are still a lot of places in the yard that has snow. The are calling for rain tomorrow night and depending on the band we could get 1 -3 inches of snow or no snow.

Back to the gym...

We were up and at the gym by 9am. It was kind of nice to get back into a routine. we stooped and I filled up the tuck as I had 70cents a gallon off and had to use it by Saturday. We came home and the guy who did the deck was on his way to look at the gutters. we both got showers before he got here. He was here about a hour and a half and got the right side fixed, but the left side had too much water in them and he would have to come back when all the snow was melted off the roof. It was no problem and we understood. We had pork chop on the grill and it was sure nice to be able to use the grill more. Not looking forward to the morning as I have to go to the dentist and get fitted for a new crown.

Searching....

Beth was up and at church by 8am. I got up and took a shower before she got home. We had breakfast and read the paper. I had to go clean up the hotdog machine as I forgot to do it before we left. Gayle came by around 11pm to get the gate for her dog. we then went to Best Buy and Staples looking at new underwater cameras. We then went to the mall and to Lowe's. we got home around 2pm and has some lunch. we decide to go to see Deb May 9 -12 and then head to KC after that. So we spent the rest of the day searching for hotels to stay at. It was a little cooler day, but very sunny. I hope tomorrow and Tuesday most of the snow melts as we have some coming Wednesday night. I don't think it is much, but we really don't want any more.

Hammer and chisel to ice...

We both got up around 8am this morning. We took showers and had some breakfast before going outside to work. I climbed the ladder and sat on the roof for about 4 hours total taking a hammer and chisel to the ice that had built up on the valleys of the roof. It was going to be a nice day and it needed to come off. So little by little I was able to get about 99 percent  of it off and got the water flowing in the right direction. Beth worked on getting all the ice off the front and back walkway. we still have a problem with our gutter, but the builder will be coming out to look at those. We had steak for dinner and Beth was so happy. It was the first time we have got to use the grill in well over 2 months. Let's just hope the nice weather is here to stay and no more snow.

Visit with Jojo and Kim...

Beth was us before me and I did not get out of bed until 8:30am. I took a shower and had breakfast. we decided to wait until tomorrow to look at the roof as it was still a little cold and windy. Kim and Jojo came over around noon and stayed a couple hours visiting. I had to take Kyle to work around 5pm and then stopped and picked up dinner as we were watching Rylee tonight. we headed to Dawn and Jo's house around 5:30pm. After they left, we watched the cartoon version of Tarzan. I think Rylee liked it but some part she found a little scary.

Water leak...

We were up around 7:30am this morning. I went to take a shower and noticed 2 water leaks in the bathroom ceiling. we think the ice had built up so much on the roof that it pushed some of the tiles up and water is getting under them. We tried to remove some of the ice, but I will have to climb on the roof tomorrow to get a better angle at it. It is going to be in the upper 40's, so that will help also. I did laundry and we went to BJ's wholesale club for a few thing. Beth worked most of the afternoon trying to get the snow off the back deck. She was ale to get the loose stuff off, but again we need some warmer weather. Dawn and Rylee came over for dinner and then Rylee and I had some good time watching TV and playing downstairs.

Buster check-up...

We were up around 7:30am this morning. We took showers and had breakfast. we then headed out to take Buster back for his brace check-up. The doctor was please with how he was getting along and wanted to see him in 3 months. We dropped Buster off at home and then went to the bank, to TSC to get bird food, and to wal-mart. We had pizza for lunch since it was ash Wednesday. Beth took a 2 hour nap and I got caught up on some on my TV programs. The temperature was up to almost 40 today and things started to melt. we found we had several place on the new deck where water should not be leaking from. I emailed the builder and he is going to come by and take a look.

Damn Insurance companies...

I got up around 7am this morning. I put a roast, carrot, and potatoes in the crock pot for dinner. I then started making phone calls related to insurance stuff. The fist was to make a payment that should have been make before we left and was not. It took 20 minutes on hold, but the payment is not made. The next was to see if someone could fix my id for logging on. So on hold for 45 minutes for a person to tell me that I had to go to a different department for that. So on hold again for 45 minutes and the person had to write up a request for it to be looked out and would have to call me back. great, I have heard this same thing 3 times already. So then on to a bill I got Walgreens for $2751 dollars. At least I kinda knew what this was. It was for the shot I had last year for the cancer body scan. The invoice number was a dupe based on the insurance company information. But if they wanted me to pay the $550 dollars for the original amount, I would do that. So we will see where this goes. So by 11am I could finally take a shower. DJ can by for a visit and had lunch with us. I had to go to the foot doctor at 1:30pm to get fitted for an insert for my shoe. The lady form the insurance company did call back and had me log on again, but I still got the same problem. So at least they are working on it. What a day....

Day 20- at sea

Today was our final day at sea. We took showers and headed to breakfast. After breakfast, we came back to the room and began packing some more. I went to a digital workshop at 11:30pm and Beth went to the casino one last time. We then had lunch and listened to a group play on the Lido deck. We then went and printed off our boarding passes for our flight home tomorrow. We then spent the rest of the afternoon packing as much as we could and hoping we can get everything packed and not be over weight.
