Movies and toolbox...

I was the first on up this morning at 8am. Payton and Beth both got up around 9am. we had breakfast and I started laundry. We had an early lunch then watched a couple of movies. Beth and Payton put together a toolbox kit and they had a great time. I fixed tacos for dinner and then we waited for it to get dark. Beth and Payton went swimming and then Payton took a shower and headed to bed. Tomorrow will be his last day of vacation and he is sad.

Tired...

We spent yesterday at Knoble's amusement park and did not get home until 11pm. We were hoping the kid's would sleep later but they were up at 8am. We had breakfast and then watched a movie. We had pizza for lunch and then swimming for a couple hours. Then it was nap time. They both said they were not tired, but fell asleep in 5 minutes. Beth's brother , Frank, stopped by for a visit just as I was putting the kids down. So Beth and I were not able to take a nap, but it nice to visit. I got the kids up around 4:30pm. I took Payton to racing and Beth stayed with Rylee until Dawn came by to get her. She then came down to the track. Kyle did not race tonight, so we left after Payton's race. We are now getting him ready for bed and they I am off to bed.

Movies and swim...

We were all up around 8am this morning. We had breakfast and took showers. we left to go to the movies around 11:45am and saw Plans 2. It was a cute movie. we came home and had lunch and then went swimming. I made dinner around 5:30 and Payton was starving. We had hotdogs and mac & cheese. We then watched Rio and will watch Rio 2 on another night.

Payton's vacation

We did not get out of bed until 8:15am. Beth decided to go to 10:30am mass, so we had breakfast. I started cleaning the house and Beth cut the grass when she got back. I went to pick up Payton around 3:30pm. Dawn and Rylee came by to go swimming and Payton and I went swimming when we got back. Beth joined us after she was done with the grass. I fixed dinner around 6:30pm and then Dawn and Rylee headed home around 8pm. Payton headed off to bed about 30 minutes later.

Shopping...

We were up around 8am this morning. We took showers and had breakfast. Dawn picked us up and we went to KOP shopping. We went to JC Penny's and then has some lunch. Dawn and I went looking for some dresses for Rylee and Beth and Rylee went to Build a Bear. Rylee was complaining of a headache, so Dawn dropped us at the house and she went home. Rylee took a nap and Beth and I went to BJ's. As we were checking out, the lady gave me my card and as I put it away I noticed it was not my card. I think she gave my card to the lady that was checking out just before us as she went back to get something and I gave my card and coupons to her. So I had to go to customer service and they gave me a new card, but we have the 2% cash back and she got credit for our $300 purchase. So they had to cancel everything and re-ring it up again. What a big cluster. So we came home and Dawn and Rylee came down for dinner and a swim. Jo is out of town on business til Thursday. We swam until 9pm and then sat by the fire for awhile. It was a good day.

Shady Maple...

We were up around 6:30am and had showers. We picked up Dawn and headed to Lancaster which is about an hour way. We only had to wait about 5 minutes in line and were seated. OMG what great food they have. I had biscuit and gravy, bacon, potato cakes, fruit, and an apple pecan pancake. They have some many thing on the menu and it is all good. We they went down to their gift shop and looked around for about a hour. We then went to a new craft store that opened about a mile down the road. I found some flowers that might work for the wedding and some scrapbook stuff. We then went back to the Shady Maple Market. It was a hugh grocery store with local produce, Amish backed goods and meats, and bulk items. We spent another hour there. We got home around 3pm and I took a nap. We had dinner and are not watching the Phillies/Diamondbacks game. We are ahead and we will see if we can stay that way.

A little fish...

I was awaken by the ring of the phone at 8:04am. For some reason Beth is on a list for some college thing she signed up for accident. It started last night around 8:45pm and we got 8 calls almost right in a row and all for the same thing. And this mornings call and the 5 more calls afterwards , again for the same thing. Beth went to go get her hair cut and I started laundry. I ran to K-mart for a couple items and to the grocery store. I picked up chicken for lunch and it was tasty. Dawn and Rylee got here around 5:30pm and they all went swimming. I started fixing dinner of hotdogs and baked beans. I got Rylee a new swim mask and she became a little fish. She was jumping form the side of the pool and going under after dive rings. She was even swimming with out her bubble. It was so amazing the change in a week. She is depended on the mask and feels comfortable with. Payton is the same way and now all the kids fully enjoy the pool.

Rain...

I got up around 8am and Beth was having coffee on the deck. I took a shower and headed out around 10:30am. I had a ultrasound at the hospital. I was back home by 11:45pm. Jojo was all ready here. We left and went to the pool store, to get bird seed, and then to get lunch. we came home and watched Rio 2. I slept through most of it and Kim picked up Jojo around 4pm. We had dinner and the clouds rolled in. The rain cut loose and now we have lighting and thunder. Bister is not happy.

BEE STING...

I got up around 8:30am this morning. Beth was already having breakfast on the deck. We spent the morning on the computer until Kim dropped off Jojo around 10am. Beth got changed into swim wear and Her and Jojo went o the pool around 11:30am. I fixed sandwiches and we ate on the deck. I hung in the deep into to help my back. It was better this morning, but still a little sore. There was some stray blood grass in the gnome are and I was going to pull what I could and transplant it in the blood grass area. I had pulled out a couple section and replanted, but the third time was not a charm. I went to pull out some and a bunch of bees came flying at me. A jumped in the pool and got a couple of them off that were in my hair. I got stung 3 times on the thumb. It was kind of scary. I went in the house and took a shower and put ice on my thumb. Beth and Jojo came in around 3pm. We took Jojo home and then went to pick up my truck. I had to have new brakes and a tune up, so it cost a lot more than thought. we stopped by Costco and got a few things. After dinner, I went out to work on the bee colony. I sprayed water on the area and then sprayed it with hornet spray. I had to take a break and come in the house several times as I was hoping to not get stung again. After the third try, I think I got them killed. What a day.

Down in the back...

I got up at 7am this morning. I wanted to put a roast in the crock pot for dinner. I reached to get knife out od the block and my back did a grab and tighten up. It is more on the side of the back. So I got the roast on and had my shower. we left to see Dr. Bill and he did an adjustment and put me on stem and ice and adjusted it again. It is not really feeling any better, so I am hoping a good night rest will be better in the morning. The cable guy came around 12:30pm and changed out all of our cable boxes to the new Xfinity 1. It had to do with the DVR process and so far we like it. We are watching Jojo the next 2 days, so we will be in the pool. Should be fun.

Fun day in the sun...

Beth was up and at church by 8am. I stayed in bed until 9am. We stopped and got breakfast and a paper. We did some yard work and then I took the cover off the pool. Dawn, Jo, and Rylee were going to come down later this afternoon. DJ and Kyle stopped by to drop off some beer they had left over from the party. DJ and Beth go to drinking in the garage and about an hour later the McWalters,  the Rhotinis, and Beth and I were all having fun in the pool. We ordered dinner and jumped back in the pool. DJ and Beth took turns being silly and going down the slide. I think the beer they had help a lot. We had a great time and it was a great day.

Marriage celebration...

We got up around 8am this morning and it was nice outside. Beth went outside to cut the grass. I went to wash the salt off my truck and then to the store. I had to make the mandarin orange salad for DJ and Maggie's wedding celebration. We had a little lunch and Dawn, Jo, and Rylee came done around 1:30pm. They followed us to the place and there were about 45 people there. We had some great food and had a great time. We came home around 8pm and Buster was glad to see us.

Run Run Run

I got up around 7:30am and took a shower. I was so not ready to get up, but I had to. I left to go give blood and Beth and Buster were on the deck having breakfast. I had to go to a new place as our insurance was no longer paying for Quest. I had a hard time finding the place as it was not marked well. I was in and out in 7 minutes. I came back home and we left again around 10am to go pick up Beth's car. I dropped her off and went to Wal-mart and Target. I got home and we had lunch and then left again to go to the bank, post office, and then to K-mart. We made it back home around 3pm and I was pooped. I fixed dinner and now I am so ready to go to bed.

Home at last.

We were up around 4am this morning and left to come home around 5am. We did pretty good until the DC area and hit traffic. We stopped at the Maryland House and had some breakfast and pulled into the driveway around 11:30am. We unloaded the truck and then rest the rest of the day. Dawn and Rylee came by for dinner around 5:30pm. We had a great visit and Jo joined us around 7:15pm. I have to give blood at 9am, so no sleeping in late tomorrow.

First board meeting...

We were up around 8am this morning. I took a shower and headed down to do laundry and someone beat me to the washer. So I waited 45 minutes and was able to start me laundry. I had 3 loads and finished around 1pm. we had lunch and went to Hobby Lobby. we purchased a few pictures to give the condo some personality and will hang them later. We found a new Mexican place and it was really good food. we got back in time for our first board meeting. All I can say is OMG. It started at 7pm and finally got over at 9:30pm. There was a lot of discussion about the contract for cable. Some people want Comcast, which is what we have in PA and other wanted to wait and go with what they have , which they all hate, and figures out the best way to go in 2 years. My god why would you keep something you hate and cost more for 2 years. So who know how this is going to go. Then the next big item it the new decking for the pool, which will cost us another special assessment. But I can see why it is needed, but again OMG the process is like watching paint dry. So now it is time to load what we can in the truck tonight and leave around 5am in the morning. We should be home early afternoon Thursday.

Engaged...

We got up around 8am this morning. We had breakfast then got dressed for the beach. It was a great morning and the warm was calm and warm. We rented an umbrella and 2 chair with cushions for a couple hours. Right before we got in the water, I asked Beth to marry me and presented her with a mickey ring. Of course she said yeas. It seemed like the best place as a the beach is our second home. We came in and took shower. We had lunch and Beth started painting the closet. I finished the touch up work on the walls and set up the sleep number bed. I started painting the pictures frame and doing a few other things. We had some dinner and Beth finished the closet and moved to painting the master bath. I think we are done with painting this trip. Tomorrow is clean up day, pack, and get ready to come home. There is a condo meeting tomorrow night and we plan on attending.

More painting...

We got up late this morning, but it nice to sleep in. We wanted to go to the beach but it raining. So we painted the last wall in the master. We have some touch up to do, but it looks really good. we will take pictures when it is all done. We then had some lunch and had to do a second coat. We got cleaned up and went to Home Depot and Bed Bath& Beyond. We stopped by Dairy Queen on the way home for blizzards and they were good. I had the new S'mores one and Beth had Peanut Butter pie. Beth is now working on painting the closet and bathroom and I am doing the touch up. We had steak salad for dinner. we will try for the beach again tomorrow.

Painting..

We were up around 8:30am. We had breakfast and took showers. We want to work on getting the master bedroom painted. So we taped off the baseboards, removed all the electrical covers. covered the floors. Everything was ready to go, so we had lunch first. After lunch, it was painting time. We were painting 3 walls the same color and having an accent wall. We got the 3 walls done and we both really like it. We called it  a day and went to Lowe's and Costco. As we were coming up in the elevator, we same one of our neighbor who did our rules meeting. We talked a little bit and wanted to look at her place as she had crown molding up to hide the cable line. So we dropped off our stuff and went up to talk with them. We were up there about an hour and half. The showed us around and gave us some good tips on closing up for the time we leave and some places to eat. We could have spent more time with them, but we had not had dinner yet and it was 8:30pm. So we came back to our place and had pizza and salad. It was a good. We are taking the morning tomorrow and going to beach and will paint in the afternoon.

We made it...

We got up at 6:30am and took showers. We went downstairs and had some breakfast. We loaded the truck and were on the road by 8am. We ran into a couple rainstorms, but nothing like the day before. We got to Pompano Beach around noon and had some lunch, before headed to the condo. We were able to park next to the service elevator and unload the truck. We had a good system down and it only took about 45 minutes. We just put everything in the office as that is the holding area. We then went to Lowe’s and got paint and supplies. Then it was on to Wal-mart for groceries and a few other things. Then we came home and unloaded the truck again. Then it was on to Ikea for dining room table and chairs. The also had the rug we wanted for the living room. We had dinner there, as we love the Swedish meatballs. We came back home and unloaded the truck AGAIN. We finally sat down to rest around 8:30pm. I am so ready for bed as we are going to paint the next few days and hopefully enjoy the beach a little.

Packed and ready to go....

We were up and ready to go by 8am. I picked up Kyle around 10am and took him to work. Beth went to drop her car to get the bumper fixed while we were gone. I picked her up and we got lottery tickets and toped off the gas tank. We came home and had some lunch. I did a load of laundry and did the final cleaning of the house. Beth went out and cut the grass. After she was done, we loaded the truck. We were able to most of the stuff we wanted to take. We tarped and tied down everything and backed the truck in the garage. There was a chance of rain, but so far nothing and I hope it stays that way. We will leave around 5am in the morning and stop in Saint Augustine, FL.

Rain storm...

We were up around 8am this morning. The a/c guy was here around 9am to service the air conditioner. Kim dropped of Jojo round 9:45am and I left around 10am to go take Kyle to work. I then went to Wal-Mart and to the bank. I got home around 11:30am. Jojo was doing her summer homework and Beth was working on bills. I fixed hotdogs on the grill for lunch. I did  couple loads of laundry and some packing. Kim picked up Jojo around 3pm. The rain rolled in around 8pm. It was a big down pour with lots of wind. It sis not last long, but was kinds scary.

Getting Ready...

I got up around 8:30am and Beth was already up. I took a shower and then went to find the cargo net for the truck. I had to pickup Kyle and take him to work around 10:30am. I came back home and Kim was just dropping off Jojo. I started picking up things and getting ready for our trip Thursday. I fixed lunch and then Beth and Jojo went swimming. Kim picked up Jojo around 4pm. We had to go to the bank and then to AAA to get a paper notarized. I fixed stuffed peppers for dinner and salad.

Another busy day...

Beth was up and at her church by 8am. I did not want to get up, but had to. I took a shower and was dressed when Beth got home. We had some breakfast and then went to K-mart. They are going out of business and we needed a few things for the condo. We found several items and then more. We were home around noon and had some lunch. Dawn, Jo, and Rylee came by for a swim. The water was great and the sun was shinning. We  swam until 5pm and they left to go home. We had dinner and we are both ready for bed.

NORCO Fair...

Beth was up way before me as I did not get up until 9am. I had breakfast and we took showers. It was really a do nothing day or at least it started out that way. We made reservation to spend a couple of days at Disney in August and got the Frozen Summer Fun package. It is 3 separate events at Hollywood studios all involving the Frozen cast. It should be fun. Dawn, Jo, and Rylee stopped by to see if we want to go to the Norco fair and we said sure. We had a great time and saw Kim, Lynne, and Jojo. Rylee and Jojo had a great time on the rides and we had funnel cake. We then stopped for ice cream and watched the fireworks. So it was another long fun filled day.

Happy 4th of July...

We were up around 8am this morning. Beth made brownies. The weather outside was not looking very good. It was very windy and a little chilly out. We got everything ready for the party and it began to sprinkle. Everyone arrived around 1pm. Beth and I got in the pool with all the kids. The water was nice and warm, but when you got out it was cold. About an hour later, the sun started coming out and everyone got in the pool. We had a great time and it was a day of fun. I fixed burgers and dogs and we at around 5:30 pm. Everyone was gone by 8pm and I am so ready for bed.

Hurricane like weather...

We were up around 8am this morning. I started laundry and Beth went out to put a couple coat of poly on the curio cabinet. It was so yucky and muggy out. We took the cover off the pool and set it aside. I had to go to Wal-mart to get a few things and was back home by noon. We had lunch and Lynne dropped of Jojo. Kim picked her up around 4pm. Dawn and Rylee got here around 5:15pm and Linda was not far behind. We had dinner and the cloud were rolling in. The wind started to blow and here came the rain. Lighting and thunder with it also. It lasted about 20 minutes and stopped. After everyone left we put the cover back on the pool as it is only going to be 72 tomorrow. Not sure it the muggy will come with it, but want the pool some what nice for swimming. We went to the store to get ice for the cooler and filled it tonight. I made cucumber salad and Beth will make brownies in the morning. Should be a good day if the rain stays away.

Hot, humid, rain...

We were up around 8:15am this morning. It was all ready very humid out. We took showers and headed out. We went to jewelry place as Beth has some costume jewelry to sell. Then it was on to BJ's wholesale club. We then came home and unloaded and headed out to the pool store, Wal-mart, the grocery store, and then to get tomatoes. We were home around 3pm and both of us to a little map. It was yucky outside and rain was on the way. I was able to get the steaks done on the grill before the rain hit. We have several thunderstorm warning for tonight and all day tomorrow. It hit 93 degrees with humidity of 65% most of the day and 90% right now. YUCK

Hot day...

We were up around 8:30am. We had breakfast and I took a shower. I had to leave around 11:30am to go get my hair done. I was back home around 1:30pm. I had lunch and Beth was putting the finally coat of stain on the curio cabinet. Deb, my hair lady, came by to get the 2 fans we had as her basement had some water in it. After that, Beth cleaned the back fence and the lounge chairs. I cleaned in the house and made a grocery list for the store and BJ's wholesale club. We had chef salads for dinner and they were good. it was 91 degrees today and a little muggy. We are suppose to get some rain, but it will be 93 tomorrow.
