Packed and ready...

I spent most of the day doing laundry and packing for the trip tomorrow. Everything is ready to go and we will be leaving around 4am. We did get to open presents with Rylee tonight and she loved them all.

Merry Christmas...

Beth was up and at church by 8am. I got up and took a shower and was ready to go when she got home. We went over to DJ and Maggie's house to have Christmas with the boys. It was a fun time and they like the presents they got. We came home and opened our gifts. We were play with everything, before I started dinner around 12:30. Dinner was ready around 3pm and we were both hungry. I got a very upsetting call and have to make a trip to KC. A good friend of mine is in hospice care and I need to go see her. So I will be leaving Friday morning and not sure when I will be back. Frank and Rose stopped by for a visit and buster was not happy with their dog being here, so he spent the evening in the bedroom.

Christmas eve....

We took showers and headed at the door around 10am. We went to Target, PetCo, Bed Bath and Beyond, Wal-Mart, Pire One, picked up Chinese food, and came home. We were all done shopping. I made deviled eggs and apple salad for tomorrow. We headed to Dawn and Jo's house around 4pm after they left to set up Rylee's train set. It took us about 35 minutes as the instructions were not that great. we then headed to Jo's parents house for dinner and presents. It was a great time and we enjoyed the evening. So now it is time for bed, so Santa will come and bring us presents.

Shopping time...

We were up and seeing Dr. Bill at 9am. we drove separately as we both had things to do afterwards. I went to the gym, Target, and to the grocery store. Beth had her Christmas shopping to finish up. We meet her brother, Frank, and his wife, Rose, for dinner. We then went shopping at the Disney store and came home. We watched last MNF game for the season. The fantasy league is over and Beth won the championship. I came in last, so not bad.

Warm day...

Beth slept in late and went to 10:30am mass. I had a couple of errenads and was back home around 11am. It was a warm day and rainy. All of the snow is gone, because of the rain and temperatures. It was a Red Zone day as the Eagles play the night game.

Polar Express party...

We were up around 8:30am this morning. We had breakfast and took showers. We had some errands to run and were back home around noon. We had lunch and Beth made chocolate chip cookies. I watch part of the bowl games. I put the lasagna in the oven and every was ready when people got here. We had dinner, made Christmas ornaments, and then watched Polar Express. Everyone had a great time and it was fun. So now it is off to bed and a day of the Red Zone tomorrow. Mom, glad you liked your shirt.

Warmer weather...

We were up and out the door by 9:45am. we went to Oaks to see a movie. Beth saw Saving Mr. Banks and I saw Thor. We then went to BJ's wholesale club and then to Costco. We were back home around 2pm. Beth shoveled the remaining snow off the driveway, as most of it had melted already. It was up to 50 degrees today and will be higher the next couple days. I had to go to the grocery store and then fixed dinner. After dinner, I went downstairs to get things ready for the Polar Express party tomorrow. Beth worked on getting her Christmas cards ready for the mail tomorrow.

Christmas Cards...

I got up around 8:30am this morning. I started laundry and had some breakfast. I took a shower and then went to the post office and then to Wal-Mart. I was home just in time for lunch. I worked on my Christmas cards and they will go in the mail tomorrow. Dawn and Rylee came by for fajitas for dinner. I showed Rylee the Disney pictures and she like the one we had taken with the Beast. She did remember going to Animal Kingdom, which was amazing since she was only 2 years old.

Long Day...

We finally got to bed around 1:30am this morning. I had to get up at 7:30am as I had a dentist appointment. I was back home around 10:20pm and DJ was here with Buster. After DJ left and Beth took a shower, we headed out for a few errands and some lunch. Beth spent the rest for the afternoon cleaning the snow off the driveway and the back sidewalk. The sun should finish the job tomorrow. I unloaded all the suitcases and got laundry ready for tomorrow. So it had been a long day and I am ready for a hot shower and some sleep, but it is nice to be home.

Last day...

We missed our wake up and did not get up until 9am. We got ready and headed to Magic Kingdom. We had chili chese dogs for lunch and then rode several rides. It was really cold and we forgot to take our jacket, so we just toughed it out. We had dinner at the Liberty Tree Tavern and then came home to pack. We have a 1:15pm fight and heard that they expect snow again tomorrow. Good Bye Mickey, we have had a great time.

Mickey's Marry Christmas Party...

We got up around 8:30am this morning. We had breakfast and headed to Magic Kingdom. We were able to check out the new Fantasy land and had dinner at Be Our Guest. It was great and is now our favorite place to eat. We then watched fireworks and the parade. It was a great day, but we are so ready for bed. Tomorrow is our last full day and then home to the cold and snow.

Angry Cloud...

We were up and out the door by 9am. We were back at EPCOT again today. I was so tired and so ready to go back to bed. We did a few of the rides we were looking forward to and also got an extra fastpass for SORIN. We headed back to Norway and Beth got her thrid beer glass form the countries. We then came home and did a couple loads of laundry and I too a very must needed nap. We left the room around 5 to go back to EPCOT fot dinner. We were just inside the park and it started to rain and then it turned to a down pour. We found the closest shop and when inside. We were dripping wet, but waited 5 minutes and it quit. We made our way to dinner and and it was good. We had beef, turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, and veggies. Beth picked up all the packages from our purchases yesterday and we went through them. I am so ready for bed.

What a great adventure...

We were up and out the door by 10am. We went to downtoen disney to do some shopping. We found every thing and more. We had pretzel dogs for lunch and they were good. We finally caught the bus to The Boardwalk and ate at the Big River Grill. Beth had steak and a beer sampling and I had ribs. After dinner came my suprise. beth had book a boat excursion to watch the fireworks on the water. it was so cool. It was a pirate cruse with lots of great snacks before hand. What a great day it was. It was a little cool in the evening, but we took our jackets this time.

A little chilly today...

We were up and out the door by 7:45am. We caught the bus to Aminal Kingdom and had breakfast at the Tascar House. we then saw Finding Nemo, The Lion King, and rode several rides. We left the park around 3pm and went to the Aminal Kingdom lodge. We had a coupl hours to kill before dinner and it was nice to just sit and watch some of the animals. We had dinner at Boma and then went back to Hollywood studios to see the Christmas lights. It was really great and really put you in the Christmas sprit. It was really cold after the sun went down and we forgot to take our jackets. But we toughed it out and made it back to room in time to see kickoff.

All rested...

We both slept until 9am this monring. We were a little sore from yesterday, but took showers and headed out to Hollywood Studios. We had some lunch and dd some shopping. We took alot of pictures, but the computer will not allow me to download them to the computer. So I can check facbook for pictures Beth post with her phone. We had a great dinner at the 50's Prime Time. I had the pot roast and Beth had the sample platter, which was fried chicken, meatloaf, and pot roast. Yum Yum. We came back to the room and the went over to Magic Kingdom. We did some shopping, rode the Haunter Mansion, and came back. we are going to hit the hot tub and then to bed.

Just in time...

We were up at 3am this monring. We took showers and headed out by 4am. It was an easy drive to the airport and no snow. We took off at 7am and made it out just in time. We heard they started cancelling flight around 10am. The weather is great here and it was mid 80's and sunny. we got to the lodge around 11:30am and our room was ready. So we dropped off our bags, changed into shorts and t-shirts, and headed to downtown disney. We ate at Earl of Sandwich it it was great. We then went and got our annual passes and headed to EPCOT. We were able to walk on most rides and there was really no crowds. We made it to the 8:15pm showing of the Candlelight Processional with Sigourney Weaver as the narrator. It was a great show and really put you in the mood for Christmas. We finall made it back to the lodge at 10:30pm and we are so ready for bed. It has been a long day, but a fun day. Sorry no pictures as I am sooooo tired.

Ready to go...

We were up and out the door by 8:30am this morning. We saw Dr. Karen for much needed adjustments and than ran a couple errands. DJ came by around 10:30am to get the dogs and take them to her house. The snow was a slushy mix and we are due to get 2 - 4 inches tomorrow AFTER we leave. We are all packed and ready to go. Disney Here We Come....

Snow is here...

We got up and had breakfast around 9am. I took a shower and headed out to get lunch and a paper. It was just starting to snow and as soon as I got home it cut loose. We only got about 2 or 3 inches, but Philly got at least 8 or more. Dawn, Jo, and Rylee stopped by to watch the game with us as Dawn is a Lion's fan. It was fun to watch them in the snow and we love the win.

Calm before the storm...

The sun was shining when we got up this morning. It was till cold, but now rain. We went to pick up the dry cleaning, to Costco, and then to the grocery store. We had lunch and I watched football. Beth went to mass and then we had dinner. She left to go to Wendy's Christmas party. I do not enjoy going as I don't drink and don't really know anyone, so I get to watch football. The rain will be back tomorrow with snow on Monday.

Rain Rain Go Away...

We woke up around 8am this morning to more rain and cold. We finished getting our clothes packed and a few other things. I went to PetSmart and to the mall. We picked up Jojo from school around 3pm and headed to the movies. Beth and Jojo saw frozen again and I saw the Hunger games. We had some dinner and dropped Jojo off at her house. We came home and settled in for the rest of the evening. They are calling for rain again all night and tomorrow and then 1 -2 inches of snow on Sunday, but rain in the afternoon. Can't wait to get to Florida on Tuesday.

Clean Up....

I got up and went to the gym. It was really foggy out any you could not see far ahead of you. I was back home 9:30am and started laundry. I started cleaning the kitchen, living roon, and dining room. Beth had a hair appointment at 11am and we had lunch when she got back. She vacummed and moped all the floors, so things are good to go. Dawn nad Rylee came by around 5:15pm and wee had waffles and bacon for dinner. Mom, your package came today. Thank You. We had all the Chirstmas shopping done, wrapped and under the tree for 3 of the kids. We will finish Rylee when we get to Disney.

Toy Store...

We were up around 8am this morning. We had breakfast, took showers, and headed out the door by 10am. We went to Toys R Us to finish Christmas shopping. We had a great time looking at all the toys and shopping for the kids. We finished up around 12:15pm and headed to lunch at Chipotle's and boy was it good. We then came home and called to get our health insurance. What a big headache that was. We spent about 45 minutes total and we passed around 3 times, but it is all done. Kim came to pick up the last plant we had and will give it a good home. We had turkey and cheddar Panini for dinner and they were so good.  Beth finished all he wrapping and I will do bow and ribbon tomorrow. I have to do laundry and clean house also. Disney time will soon be here.

No way to start the day...

I woke up around6am with a migraine, so I got up and took 3 pills and went back to sleep. Finally woke up around 8:30am with headache gone, but stomach upset and the shakes for the caffeine in the pills. We headed out to Super Wal-Mart for a few things and were back home by 11:30am. We had lunch and I left to go get a cut and color. Beth had a doctor's appointment at 2:15pm for a routine check-up. After my hair was done, I went to the mall, to 5 below, Target, and the grocery store.  We both got home around 4pm. We had left overs for dinner and they were even better than yesterday.

Decorations an Dinner...

I got up around 8am and went to the gym. Beth had an appointment to se Dr. Karen for another adjustment. I started setting out the Christmas decoration in the yard and Beth started on the lights when she got home. We had everything done by noon. I started cooking our Thanksgiving dinner. DJ stopped by for a visit and only stayed a short time. We had dinner around 6:30 and it was really good and have leftovers for the next 3 days.

Decorating for Christmas...

We were both up by 7:30am this morning and took showers. we headed out the door around 8:40am. We had to go delivery the kid's kitchen set and dishes we sold on the yard sale site. We then stopped to get bagels and came home for breakfast. There was nothing in the ads that we needed, I continued with the decorating upstairs. We went downstairs for kickoff of the Eagles / Cardinals games. It was a good game, but a little closer than we likes. Mom on the other hand was not happy.  We finished getting the rest f the Christmas decoration out of the attic and will work on the yard tomorrow.

Day spent with Rylee...

Beth was up before me this morning as most mornings. I took a shower and headed to Dawn's house to watch Rylee. She was still sleeping when Dawn left around 9:45am. I finally went up at 11am and opened the door and turned off her fan. We was awake, but not ready to get up. I laid out her clothes and when back downstairs. She came down dresses about 20 minutes later and had some milk. Beth stopped and got lunch and came up around 1pm. Rylee di not feel like going anywhere today, so we stayed home and played. Dawn came home around 3:30pm and we headed home. We spent the rest of the day decorating the inside of the house and wrapping presents. We hope to do the outside decorating on Monday when it is a little warmer.

Movie day...

We were both up before 8am. I took a shower and Beth took one about 15 minutes later. Dawn and Jo dropped off Rylee around 8:45am. We left the house around 9:15am and headed to Oaks. we stopped at BJ for a few things and then meet Kyle, DJ, and Payton at the movie theater. We got our tickets to see frozen and headed in. There were quite a few people there and we sat at the top. The kids had a great time and loved the movie. It will be purchase as soon as it is on DVD. We picked up lunch at McDonald's and came home. There were too many people out and the roads were a mess. Dawn picked up Rylee around 3:30pm. I put up the ornament tree in the dining room and will do a little more decorating tomorrow. Rylee called and asked us to come up and have dinner with her, so we did. I played with Rylee after dinner, while Dawn and Beth move some stuff in the dining room. we came home around 10pm and I am so ready for bed. We are watching Rylee again tomorrow as they have a funeral to go to and we hope to get the Christmas light  and maybe some decorations.

Happy Thanksgiving...

We were up and at the gym by 8:45am. we came home took showers, had breakfast, and read the paper. We left around 1pm to go to Beth's brother house to see Grayson. We had not seen him since he was born and he is a cutie. We then headed to Dawn and Jo's house. We had dinner around 3pm and it was so good. There were about 11 people total and we had a lot of food. Rylee opened her birthday presents and sing Happy Birthday. We then went to Michael's and Wal-Mart before coming home. What a great day.

Wrapping...

We were up and at the gym by 9am this morning. We came home and got the lights and wrapping paper from attic. We took showers and Beth had to go see her brother. I went to target for a few things and came home. I had lunch and started the laundry. Beth was home around 1:30pm and she had lunch. She then went to Home Depot and Lowe's. It was a winter mix of sheet, snow, and rain all day long. The next five days are going to really cold, but moisture free. Just want to say Happy Birthday to my step day, Ken!!!!!

Snow short lived....

We were both up early this morning. Beth had a dentist appointment at 9am and I went to the gym. I got home about 10 minutes before Beth. I took a shower and had breakfast. I then left to go do some shopping at Wal-Mart and then got my eyes checked. I came home around 1pm and had some lunch. We left around 1:30pm to go see the doctor about Beth's shoulder. He said that she had tendonitis in it and may have a small tear, but nothing to worry about. He gave her a cortisone shot and will start some PT to help gain movement in it. We then went to Staples, AC Moore, and the grocery store. We were back home around 4pm. I then went to Michael's and a different grocery store. We had dinner and then went up to Jo and Dawn's house. Rylee's class made me a thank you card for the treat I sent today. It was so sweet of them. It only snowed for about 3o minutes with some sleet mixed in. It then changed to rain for the rest of the day. It will rain all night and all day tomorrow, before turning really cold for the next 5 days.

Turkey cookies...

Beth got up and had a sore back, so she went to see Dr. Karen for an adjustment. I started making cookies. I made a lot more than I needed, but that is ok. We to a quick trip to Michael's to get some orange icing. We had lunch and then started decorating the cookies and making them look like turkeys. I think they turned out pretty good.

 

 

 

 We then had to go to the mall and get something I purchased off the yard sale site. We then dropped off the cookies for Rylee to take to school tomorrow. It was another cold day and more cold weather on the way. we might even see snow by the week-end

Cold football party...

We slept until 8:30am this morning and boy was it cold. The temperature gauge said 23 degrees and the wind was blowing. We took showers and had breakfast. I has to make cole slaw and French onion dip for the party. We got everything set up downstairs and around noon I cooked French fries and onion rings. Everyone started showing up right around kickoff and we all settled in to watch the Red Zone. Beth had several individual bottles of beer, so she had a beer tasting party. Out of the 10 plus types, they found 3 they all liked. I had made apple crisp for dessert and it was a big hit. The weather will be cold the next few days, so welcome winter.

COLD...

I spent until 8:30am this morning. I took a shower and began cleaning the kitchen, living room, and dining room. I put a pot of chili on for the party tomorrow. We went up to Dawn's house around 2pm and watched Rylee open her presents form her birthday party. DJ and the gang came by around 5 and we took pictures of Kyle and his date.

I then went to the store to pick up a few thing for the football party tomorrow. It is really cold out and the wind is not help either. The high tomorrow is only going to be 31 with a low of 18. BURRRRRRRRRRRR....

Shopping...

We were up early this morning. We picked up DJ at 7:30am and headed to Wal-Mart. I had dreams last night that we would get there too late and what we wanted would be gone. The parking lot was almost empty and I saw several people carrying out the items I knew were part of the sale. I saw line and went straight to the item and they had lots of them. So we picked it up and then went to breakfast with DJ. It was a little anti-climate, but we saved a lot and don't have to go out on Thanksgiving night. After breakfast, we dropped DJ off and came home for showers. We left around 10:30am and had several place to go to and lots of shopping to do. We made it home around 3pm and Gayle came back over to fix the water pipe downstairs. She left around 4pm and out again we went. We finally made it home around 7pm and had some dinner. Now it is bed time and we are both really tired, but a lot of Christmas shopping done.

Laundry day...

We both got up around 8:30m this morning. I started laundry and we had breakfast. Beth decided to rip out the sink behind the bar and replace the faucet. She went to Lowe's to get the parts and I decided to look at the back porch light. It would not come on the last few days. So I got then ladder out and started to up fold it and bang, it smashed my thumb and boy did it hurt. I climbed the ladder only to find the light broke from the stem. Beth came home and we had some lunch. I was finally able to get the broken stem out and replace the blub and it was working again. I left to go pick up Rylee from school as Dawn was making cupcakes for Rylee's party on Saturday. Gayle came over to help Beth with the plumbing. They were able to get the hot water pipe fixed, but had problems with the cold. Gayle will come back over tomorrow to work on it again. We had grilled cheese sandwiches and soup of dinner.

Big shopping trip...

Beth had a head ache, so I went to the gym by myself. After I got home, I took a shower and we headed to Oaks. We had lunch and then went shopping at BJ's wholesale.  It was a big shopping trip as we needed gift cards, lots of meat, and other things for the football party this week-end, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. We came home, put everything away, and then rested. The weather was starting to turn cold and the wind was really blowing. Beth decided to take the bar sink downstairs apart and see it she could fix it. Boy what a mess and what a project it will be.

Last day of planting...

We got up, went to the gym, and were back home around 10:30am. I had the clean the bathroom as it was in need. I had a few bulbs that needed planting before the ground got to hard, so off I went. It only took about a hour and the weather was not bad. I then went to Target to stock up on a few things. The weather did not get as cold as they said, but it is on it way for Monday. The say the high will be 38 and we could see snow showers.

Cold is a coming.....

We were up and out the door by 8:45am. Dr. Karen did our adjustments and is going to read Beth's MRI to see if she can see anything. We then went and had some breakfast and then stopped at Jeff's house. We then came home and left again around 11:15am. we had to go to AAA and finish paying for the cruise and talked about a couple other trips. We came home and had some lunch. we went to Lowe's and picked up a couple of things. We had dinner and are now watching the football game. I worked on the grocery list for the party this will week-end and for Thanksgiving. We are trying a few new dishes this year for Thanksgiving, so hope they work out. The cold is on it's way tonight as the high tomorrow is only 45 degrees.

Football day...

Beth was up and at church by 8am. I got up and took my shower and we then went out for breakfast. It has been a long time since we had a sit down breakfast. We came home and watched football the rest of the day. The Eagles won and now we will watch to see if the Chiefs can beat Denver. We are suppose to get rain tonight and tomorrow will be the last warm day for awhile.

Spent the day with Rylee...

I got up around 7:15am and took a shower.  I headed to Dawn and Jo's house around 7:45am. Dawn had to work and Jo was getting her hair done. Rylee was still sleeping when I got there and did not get up until 9:15am. We had breakfast and I got her ready for dance. Jo did a drive by and off to dance they went. I came home and talked to my friend Shelly who got laid off yesterday. She had been with her company 15 years of so. But she is ok right now with it as she has so many other things going on. We had lunch and went back up to Dawn and Jo's house. Dawn and Beth hung valances and Jo clean out some stuff. I got to spent the day playing with Rylee and keep her out of the way. Yea me. we had dinner there and came home. Beth crashed in the chair and I am watching football. It was a good day.

Run day...

We were up, at the gym, and back home by 10am. The doctor's office called and they found a tear on of the tendon in her arm, so she will need to see a specialist. We then went to Costco, the show store, Kohl's, and made it back home around 2pm. We were out to dinner for Mexican, but it was not really that good. The one in AZ was better.

Laundry day...

We got up and had breakfast, then took showers. I started laundry and Beth did the vacuuming of the floors. I had to go to the grocery store and the guy service the riding lawn mower and install the snow blower. Dawn and Rylee came by for dinner around 5:45pm. I fixed chicken and rice and it was really good. It was a little warmer today, but the wind really blew.

Cold Cold Cold...

We both got up around 8am this morning. I got ready and went to the gym. I had to put on sweat pants as it was only 28 degrees out. I came home and worked on finding my desk. Beth went out to do the last mowing of the year. she had on 4 layers of clothes. She came in around 1pm and we had lunch. The finished the riding part. She was sure ready for hot coffee by then. It never ready warmed up at all as the high was only 39 degrees. I fixed steak on the grill and boy was it nice to stand near heat. So enjoy your warm weather mom as it is freezing here.

Shopping with Jojo

We were up, showered, and had breakfast by 10:30am. Kim dropped off Jojo and we headed to Reading. we went to Barnes and Noble and the to lunch at Olive Garden. We then took Jojo to Toy R Us for her shopping list. She picked out about 27 things. We then sopped at The Restaurant Store and then home. We got home around 2:30pm. Beth printed off Jojo's list and she pick her top 4 items. Kim picked her up around3:30pm. It was a very cold day and we had a few snow showers this morning. The high tomorrow will only be 40 degrees and Beth has to cut the yard one last time. The will be coming Thursday to hook up the snow blower, so no more grass cutting. So she will be cutting the grass in a winter coat.

Final yard clean up...

We were at the gym by 9am and back home by 10:15am. We decided to do one last yard clean up as it is suppose to rain and turn really cold tomorrow. I had to clean all the flower beds and Beth picked up the hoses and put everything in the shed. We finished up around 1pm and had lunch. We took showers and I had to go to the store. We could see our first snow showers tonight as temperatures will drop to 32 degrees. Winter is on the way.

Big day of football...

Beth went to 8am mass and I finally got out of bed around 9am. We had breakfast and read the paper. The Eagles had a big day and won against a good team. We are now hoping for a Dallas loss, so we can take first place in the division.

Hobby Lobby...

We were up and out the door by 8:30am this morning. We stopped by Dunkin for breakfast and then headed to Allentown for Beth's MRI. We were able to get right in and were out of there by 10:15am. She should hear something mid week. We stopped by Hobby Lobby as they had all their Christmas stuff 50% off. What a deal that was. We then stopped at a store that sold the poly wood furniture lake we have. I was looking for a long table and we found one, but not sure it will fit. We got home around 3pm and I was freezing from being outside and still can not get warm. It was only 50 today, but windy and bone chillin cold.

Jake and Sophia....

We were up and at the gym by 9am. we can home and took showers and then went to Professional Pharmacy as Beth needed a new c-Pac mask. We then went to Target, Bed Bath and Beyond, 5 below, Best Buy, and the mall. We were finally home around 3pm. we left around 5pm to go to Dawn and Jo's house. we had pizza and then left to go to Reading. we all went to see the Disney production of Jack and Sophia. It was really cute and Rylee had a great time. It was really cold today. I think it only got to 50 degrees and was very windy.

Rainy day...

We got up this morning and it was just beginning to rain and looked like it was going to stay around all day. We took showers, had breakfast, and headed out the door. e had to take the slushier machine in to get looked at and the went to BJ's. We then came home and had lunch. Dawn and Rylee came by around 5:30 and we had waffles and bacon for dinner. Yum Yum.

Leaf cutting...

We were up and at the gym by 8:30am this morning. Afterwards, we had showers and breakfast. Beth went to the doctor's at 11:50am and I went to Wal-Mart. Beth is still having problems with her shoulder and had the start of a sinus infection. She has to call to schedule a MRI and then see a specialist. Kim and Jojo can over for dinner and we had London Broil, salad, and corn. It was yummy. Beth was able to mow the grass or should I saw cut up the leaves. They are really falling off the trees and piling up in the yard.

Clean up...

I got up around 8:15am this morning and Beth was already up. we had breakfast and took showers. I started cleaning the house as it really needed it. I got the living room, dining, room, mud room, kitchen, and bathroom all clean and floor mopped. We went to vote around 11:30am and then got hoagies from the Boy Scouts. They sell them outside the church we vote and they are they best. It makes voting worth it. We came home and ate and then finished my cleaning. Beth knew to stay out of the way and she spent the day I the office. I had to go to the store and get some eggs. We had eggs, sausage, and potatoes for dinner and it was really good. My stupid computer's mouse has been acting up, that is the reason for no blog last night. I sent you a text message to let you know, but maybe you did not see it. Sorry about your car as I know you were hoping to get the lock fixed.

Disney Cruise booked...

We were up around 7:30am this morning. We got everything ready for the call at 9am. Beth started calling right at 9am. It took her an hour and 20 minutes of continuing dialing the same number. We finally got into the cue and were placed on hold for 40 minutes. By the time it was our turn our fist 4 choices of rooms were sold out. So we got a room with a balcony and were able to stay within the budget. Since there will be no excursion on this trip, we will save some money there. So this will be our fist DVC members only cruise and we are excited. I ran to the store for a few things and made it home in time to have lunch and watch the footballs game. Both the Chiefs and the eagles won, so it was a good day.

Busy Day...

We got up around 8 am and had breakfast and showers. we went to pick up Payton around 10am. we headed to Exton to the Toys R Us store. Payton went through the store and we took pictures of the items he wanted for Christmas. That way he can have a record for Santa. We then had some lunch and went to babies R Us. We took Payton home and were back home around 2:30pm. We made a trip to the AAA store, but they were closed. Kim, Lynne, and Jojo stopped by to show us Jojo's new hair. She is getting her hair straighten and it looked really good. Beth went to mass and then we went up to Dawn and Jo's house for dinner and a movie, as they had the boys this week-end. It was a great day and we had fun.

Big Storm...

I got up around 8:15m and got ready for the gym. It was really raining hard and the wind was blowing strong. Next thing you know, no electricity. So we sat around for a hour and PECO said it should be back on by noon. So we headed to the garage to pack up the Halloween stuff. It took us about a hour and a half. We then left and went to Lowe's, Wal-Mart, and the  Spirit store. We could a couple more fog machines, some fog juice, and other Halloween stuff all 50% off. We got home around noon and the lights were back on. We went to Arby's for lunch as we had a coupon and it tasted good. We then put all the Halloween stuff in the attic and I started laundry. We went out for dinner to TGI Fridays and had a coupon for that also.

Happy Halloween...

No gym this morning as we had a lot to do today. We took showers and had breakfast. We had to meet someone at Target as Beth purchase something off the yard sale site. We then did some shopping in Target and had to go to CVS. We then went to the bank and Beth got KFC for lunch. I got sonic as they had corn dogs for 50 cents. We then came home and finished putting the rest of the Halloween decoration out. I left to go to Dawn and Jo's house around 6pm. Maggie and Payton went with me as to go trick or treating with Rylee. We had a great time and the kids got lots of candy. we got a lot of compliments on the Halloween decoration, they did look pretty cool. We took everything into the garage around 9am as it is suppose to rain tonight and tomorrow. That way we could put everything away tomorrow. So Happy Halloween to everyone.

Treat day.

We were up and at the gym by 8:30am and back home by 10am. We took showers and then had some lunch. I started making the push ups for Rylee to take to school tomorrow. Beth helped and I think she had a good time. We had to pick up Jojo from school and take her home. We had dinner with Dawn, Jo, and Rylee and the watched The Great Pumpkin. Had a great day.

2 shots...

I was up at 7am and at the doctor's office by 7:30am. Not all of my test result came in, so I had to wait for the cholesterol numbers. My glucose was high again and they are doing an A1C test and should here in the next day or so. I did have to get 2 shots, flu and tetanus, so my arm will be sore also. Came home and then went to the gym. The doctor did say I was fighting a somewhat losing battle, with my age, menopause, and thyroid issue, but to stay at. Not an encouraging sign. We went to the Army/Navy store to look around, but did not buy anything. We came home and had lunch. Beth is trying to get the wit h we have for Halloween to work and no luck yet. we had corn on the cob and bar-b-que chicken for dinner. Yum Yum...

Ikea...

For some reason we are sleeping in late. We got up and had breakfast and showers. We left and went to Ikea, as Beth needed a new desk chair. We found a chair and a few other things. We had lunch there and then came home. I had the start of a migraine, so I took a nap. We had to meet a person at the mall for a item I sold. we then had some dinner and I worked on some computer stuff and Beth worked on carving pumpkins.

Another day of football...

We slept in late this morning. Beth went to 10:30am mass. We then read the paper and watched the eagles lose again. The funny thing is, they are still in second place in the division. The Chiefs are 8 -0 and still going strong. I had to go pickup Kyle and take him to work around 3:30. We went ahead and called in a pizza and wing order. Not much else. good win for the cardinal and I know mom is happy about that. Tomorrow we are going to Ikea for a visit.

Selling stuff..

We loaded up the little fridge and headed to Coventry mall to meet a lady we sold it to. After that, we stopped at Pier One to look at their Halloween stuff, but did not find anything we liked. We came home and I posted a couple more items on the yard sale site and ended up selling one thing for a Monday pick up. I kinds enjoy posting thing out there and selling them with out the hassle of a regular yard sale. All the money is going into the Disney vacation fund. I have a couple more thing to try and post Monday. It is also a good way to get rid of the stuff we no long want. We then and watch the boys race and took some pictures. We left after the 6th race as it was just too cold and my knee was stiff. My we are home trying to get warm again. How long before summer again???

Oil all over everything...

We got up late this morning, so no gym. We had breakfast and took showers, then headed out the door to take Buster to the vet. His butt is doing better, but he will still have to take the pills and we have to wipe it every 3 days with some solution the vet gave us. He knee is doing better, but it could take another month before it is all the way better. He can have his blow up collar off, as long as he is not licking. So we drop him off at home and then went to Costco and Staples, and Lowe's. We came home and Beth was not feeling well, so she went to take a nap. I set up the new fryer and the first time using was a big mess. The switch on the front for the drain did not work right and about 2 cups of oil leaked all over the stove. So after cleaning up the mess, we tried it again and this time it worked. We really like it and love the way it fries things. The switch is a poor design and if you are having that much oil, the switch should not be so easy to move. Mom check you phone, I sent you a message...LOL

Beth working...

I got up and took a shower around 7:30pm.  had an appointment to give blood at 8:15 am and then went to Wal-Mart afterwards. I was back home around 10am. Beth left to go to the bank and then help DJ with some tree trimming. I did laundry and cleaned up the kitchen. Beth was back home around 2pm and I fixed her some lunch. Dawn and Rylee came over around 5:30pm and we had tacos. Dawn left for her appointment and Jo picked up Rylee around 7:30p. We started watching the football, but it was very boring, so it is off to bed. Here is the picture we took at the ranch.

Cold....

We got up and headed to the gym around 9am. It was 42 degrees and will be colder tonight. We came home and I took a shower and headed over to DJ's house. I wanted to start working on the boys racing books and needed the pictures she had. I then went to the store and came home. Beth had a doctor's appointment at 3:40pm. After that, we had dinner with DJ, Maggie, and the boys. It was a great time. Weather man says it will be in the low 30's tonight, so on came the furnace.

The ranch...

We got up and went to the gym. After we got home, we took showers and headed to the ranch. We took several good pictures and the went to Long John Silver's for lunch. We then headed to Cabela's for some shopping. We got home around 4pm and I took a nap. It rained off and on most of the day and is only going to be a high of 53 tomorrow. Time for the furnace to go on.

Disney day...

We were up and out the door to see Dr. Jill by 8:30am this morning. We then came back home and Started working on the December Disney trip. Beth had made the dinning reservation under on id and she was linked to my Disney account user a different id, so she had to call to get it figured out. I had a hair appointment at 1pm and then had to stop by the store. I made steak Diana for dinner and it was really good. It had been awhile since we had it and it was time. Buster went to see Dr. Karen for a dog adjustment on his leg, so we will see if that helps along with everything else. It will be getting cold later this week and is going to be in the low 30's in the night. It will be time to turn on the heater then. Burrrrrrrr.

Win and Loss...

We got up and went to Jack Flee market this morning. We walked around for 3hours and purchased a few things. We then came home and left the dogs out to potty. We then went up to Dawn and Jo's house to have lunch and watch the football game. The Eagles looked really bad and the deserved to lose the game. we came home and watched the 4pm games and the Chiefs looked good and are 7 -0. Buster seems to be doing a little better, so lets hope he continues to get better.

Forgot...

I forgot to do the blog last night, but nothing really happened much from taking Buster to the vet. Watched college football and worked on scrapbooking stuff. It was cold and rainy, so back to wearing jeans again.

Day of running...

We got up and took showers and had breakfast. We left and went to Lowe's for a few things, went to WAWA to cash out our scratch off ticket, then on to get pumpkins. We got home around noon and had lunch. DJ dropped off Gabby and we headed out right behind her. We went to BJ's, then outlet mall , and to Costco. We made it home around 4pm. We had ribs for dinner and spent the rest of the evening resting from our day of running. Beth had left the dogs out around 7pm and Buster came back in limping really bad on his back leg. We will keep an eye on it and we if it is any better tomorrow. What next?????

All ready...

We slept in late this morning and did not go to the gym. I took a shower and started laundry. we then went out and got the electrical cords from the attic and hooked up everything outside for Halloween. we had some lunch and then we had to take Buster back tot he vet. His butt was getting worse and was leaking. The vet put him on antibiotics and we have to take him back in a week. we got a different cone collar for him and he seems to do better with it and can not lick. Dawn and Rylee came over for a chicken, rice, and cranberry sauce dinner. Rylee was a little scared of the decorations out front, but got used to them. Now it is time for football and see if mom's team can win tonight.

Halloween ready...

we were up and at the gym by 8:45 am. We then came home and got all the Halloween stuff out of the attic. We then had lunch and Beth cut the grass. I set out what I could  and then finished when the grass was all mowed. We still have to get the extension cord and timers out tomorrow, but they are all up. We then went to pick up my truck and I went to the store and Beth did some errands. It was kinda nice here, cloudy, but in the low 70's. The last to nice we have seen the deer in the back and they don't seem to care if we seem them or not. They look at us and then continue eating.

Insurance review...

We got to the gym around 8:30am and were back home around 9:45am. I spent the next 4 hours looking at health insurance and talking to Beth about what was best for us. I think have finally figured out what to do and will sign up for new insurance on Nov. 1. We had some lunch and then Beth spent the rest of the afternoon working on her computer doing various items. I went downstairs to catch on my shows. We had dinner and then took my car back in to get the radio installed tomorrow. I was going to install it myself, but they needed my old one as a trade in, get this, so they can fix it and sell it to someone else. What a joke, but tomorrow I will have a new, and I use that word loosely, radio.

Hobby Lobby...

Beth was up early as she had to meet Kim at 8am. Jojo had to have a baby tooth cut out and wanted Beth to be there. I got up and went to the gym and we were both back home about the same time. I took a shower and we headed to Hobby Lobby. We had lunch at Red Robin and then wen to the Plow and Heath store. Beth was expecting it to be bigger, but it had some really cool stuff. we got home around 4pm and Beth took a nap. I made dinner and then we watched MNF.

Football all day.

Beth went to church and then we watched football the rest of the day. Short, sweet, and to the point.....LOL

Great day...

Rylee came in and woke us up around 7:30am. Her and Beth watch the same movie they watch last night, while I made the caramel money bread. It was really good and everyone liked it. I gave Rylee a shower and then she got changed for dance. Dawn and Jo picked her up around 10am. I spent the rest of the day watching football and working on scrapbook stuff. The finally stopped, but it was still cold out all day.

Rylee overnight...

Beth was up early and went to give blood. I got up around 8am and she was home about 30 minutes later. We had breakfast and she went to get her hair cut. I took a shower and cleaned the bathroom. They called and said they would not have my radio in today, so we went to pick it up and will take it back next week. We did some other errands and came home. It rained again all night and all day. The rain gauge said 4 inches and it is going to rain the next 2 days. We picked up Rylee from school around 5pm. Beth had called in our dinner order and we picked it up on the way home. We had inner and then watched 2 Disney Halloween movies. Bedtime for Rylee came and off she went. We are making monkey bread for breakfast in the morning and it should be fun.

New radio

It has rained all day today and was really cold. I finally had to put on long pants and a long sleeved shirt. They called and said I needed a new radio for my truck and it will either be here tomorrow or next week. Dawn and Rylee came by for sloppy joes and fries dinner. We are now watching the bears and giants play.

Cold today...

We got up and were going to go to the gym, but found had a sore on is butt. Beth called the vet and were able to get him right in. He said that because of his arthritis in his legs that he is not pooping right and that we may have to take him in and get the glands manually squeezed. He will go back in 2 weeks and see how things are doing. So we came home and had some lunch. It was very cold here today and it is going to rain, so it was damp out. I was able to drop off my truck tonight for them to look at the radio tomorrow. I did look at Cindy's Christmas list and will give you a call tomorrow evening about it.

Planting bulbs...

Boy was it cold this morning when we got up. We had breakfast and I took a shower. I headed outside to start planting bulbs and Beth went to the gym. I started in the back and planted almost 50 bulbs. Beth helped with the last 15 and saved us time. We had lunch and I then went to Lowe's to get some more bulbs for the front. So after another 40 more, I was done for the day. I still have a few, but will do them another day, when my hands are not sore. We had Bar-B-Que chicken and salad for dinner. It did warm a little,, but fall is finally here.

Some rain...

We saw Dr. Bill for a much needed adjustment and then went to the gym. I was able to only walk about 10 minutes as my knee was still hurting. We came home and took showers and I had to go meet a lady and get a couple of thing I purchase off the yard sale site. We had some lunch and DJ came by for a visit. I began to rain hard and the wind blew. I lasted about 30 minutes and then only rained  about 4 more hours and stopped.  The temperature dropped to the mid 60's and will stay there the rest of the week. We had dinner and the watched the MNF game. We needed Atlanta to win to stay in the football, but I don't think that is going to happen.

Eagles and Chiefs win...

Beth was up and at church by 8am. I rolled out bed and took a shower right before she got home. We had breakfast and read the paper. We went to pickup Kyle and took take him to work as DJ had grass cutting and we wanted her to get started early. We then headed to the Best Buy in KOP. Beth got a new computer as her sucked. We then settled in to watch the football games. Both eagles and chiefs won and the cowboys lost, so we are tired for first in our division and have a losing record.

Flee market and racing...

We were up and out the door by 9am this morning. We headed to Jake's flee market and spent 2 hours walking and shopping. we purchase a few things and had fun. We then had some lunch and went to Wal-Mart. We then came home and I took a nap. We left around 5pm to go watch the boys race. Kyle came in first in one race and 3rd in his second race. He is racing 2 cars now and did good. Payton is still felling the effect of being smashed into the wall a few weeks back and is just content to run in either last place or first place. He just needs some time go recover and get his confidence back. So it was a redneck kinda of day.

A date with the electrical panal...

We were up and t the gym by 9am this morning. we had to set all the stuff out for the purple heart people to pick up and the termite guy was here also. We then stopped by the mall and then on to Costco. We came home and I put a brisket in the oven and boy did the house smell good all afternoon. we will be eating it all week-end. After dinner, we had a date with electrical panel downstairs. We wanted to know what each of the breakers controlled in the house. So Beth was downstairs and I was upstairs and we had the walkie talkies. I took us about 2 hours to determine what every light and outlet were controlled. This will give us a better indication for the generator we want to get. It is so very hot in the house and will be until it rains on Monday, but I think we can live with and not use the AC anymore.

Rain please...

Beth went to the gym this morning and I, well I skipped the gym. I had to water the plants and then started laundry. Beth came home and then sprayed around the front of the house to see if we could get rid of some of the stink bugs. It got really warm today and I hope we get some rain tomorrow, as we need it. Dawn and Rylee came by around 5:45pm for dinner. I tried a new recipe and it was really good. You cube boneless chicken breast, cube red potatoes, and the put them in a bowl with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic power, and paprika. Bake for 60 minutes, stirring every 20 minutes. Then top with cheese, bacon, and ranch dressing. So very good. Tomorrow I am going to cook a brisket for the week-end.

More insurance ...

We got up and went to the gym around 9am. We stopped by Wal-Mart and picked up a few things before coming home. We then had some lunch and I began trying to do more research on the new health care plans. The big site they want you to look at is all messed up and crashes most of the time. Tried most of the day to look at but no luck, so will keep trying. Right now we are probably going to stay with Blue cross unless we see something as good for cheaper.

Health Insurance...

After the gym, We looked at the new health insurance plans for next year. It appears that we will stay with Blue Cross and we will only save about 300 per month. We looked at a couple other companies and they were all about the same for the same coverage, so why not stick with what we know. It was not as cheap as we had hoped, but any saving is better than nothing. We then went to Costco and had lunch at Cheeseburger Cheeseburger. We tested the electric cooler and could not get it to work. we did find that it had a fuse in the pull in, so we changed that out and it is working now. It does both hot and cold, so we try it out later and see how cool it gets. But if it does work, then $15 bucks was a steal for it. Beth made ham, bean, and potato soup for dinner and I love it. I can not believe it is October and still in the 80's and will be for the next week.

Caddy home...

I went to the gym this for as I had not been in a week. I came home and took a shower and we left to go to reading for some lunch and shopping and then on to pick up the caddy. Let's hope nothing else is wrong with it. We had dinner and now it is time to watch MNF.

Long Day...

We were up at 5am and out the door by 6:45am. we got to the flee market area at 7:05am and OMG. There were already a ton of cars their and we had to set up way in the back. Good thing it did not takes us long and we were ready in about 10 minutes. A lot of people said there were 10 times the number of people selling today, so we picked a good time. I walked around to see what other people had, but did not buy anything. Beth was gone 10 minutes and came back carrying 2 things. I must admit the electric cooler will be nice for trips as you don't need ice. We packed up and left around noon and the ling to get out was kinda long, but we made it home in time for the kickoff. we figured we made about a hundred bucks and got rid of some stuff, but we don't have to go back and sell anything else again. Most of the leftover stuff will go to the purple heart people. So we watched football the rest of the day and watched the Eagles get spanked by Denver, but everyone that has played Denver has lost big. The funny things is, that no one in our division is winning either and we are in second place still.

Pie making...

WE were up around 8am this morning. Beth took a shower as Gayle came to pick her up around 9am. They were going the Celtic festival and I got to stay home and watch football. I took a shower and decided to make hand pies with the new pie makers I got on the yard sale site. I made 6 apple and 6 cherry. It was kinda fun and not real hard. I then watch college football the rest of the day. Beth got home around 4:30pm, I had put a ham in the oven for dinner and she went to 5:30pm mass. We had dinner when she got home and then loaded the truck for the flee market tomorrow. We have to be there and set up by 7am. I want to be on the road home by noon, so we can watch the game.

General clean up...

After breakfast, I took a shower and headed outside to work with Beth. We moved all the leftover pavers to a pallet and cleaned up behind the shed. I then had to deadhead the hydrangeas and sprayed some weeds. Beth then replaced the 2 pieces of fence in the back that we all bent up from being hit with the lawnmower. I had to go get gas and then stopped by the police station on the way home. There was a pretty new bike tucked in the woods and had been there a couple days. A cop came out and took the bike, but said no one had reported any missing. So who know where it came from. We then had lunch and DJ came by for a quick visit. I then left and went to Wal-Mart for a few things and came home. Kim and Lynne dropped of Jojo around 3:30pm. I fixed bar-b-que chicken and noodles for dinner and Beth took Jojo back to their house around 7pm. She should be home around 11pm as they went to an early concert in Philly.

Clean house...

After breakfast, we started cleaning the house. The bug got here around noon, just as we were having lunch. I took Buster and went downstairs to watch a movie. Buster had a grooming appointment at 6pm and was back home by 8pm smelling quite nice. Should be a good game tonight and love having Thursday night football every week.

Drop off the caddy again...

No gym again this morning. I think it might just be all week and start again on Monday. We watched a seminar on the computer about the new health care and what it means for us. we then took the caddy back in for service and came home. we then had to go to AC Moore, Bed Bath & Beyond, and then Michael's. I fixed steak for dinner and it was yummy. Now it is catch up on TV shows.

No motivation...

We both got up very late this morning from watching the game last night. We had some breakfast and Beth went outside to work. I worked n the lamp post light to see if I could get the dusk to dawn part to work. I just checked and it is working, YEA. I then came inside and cleaned the kitchen. After that, I had no motivation to do anything. I fix goulash for dinner and it was really good. It was a recipe Beth's mom had. All the new shows are starting this week and the return of our old favorites.

Busy Monday...

we were up at Dr. Bill's office by 9am. After that we came home and left around 10:45am to go see the insurance lady about our home insurance. we talked about several option and a lot of other things and found something that will work for us. But a change will be coming in our insurance next year and they will make you raise you deductible or you will have to pay to have a $1000 deductible. Good grief. We then came home and had lunch. I cleaned out the hall pantry and the jelly cabinet. I then went downstairs to watch a movie. I fixed pork chops for dinner and then it was back to Dr. Bill's office for a power stretching class. Now it is time for MNF.

Football all day...

After church, we had breakfast and read the paper on the porch. WE had a From the Freezer lunch, meaning what every you can find you can have. We then watched football the rest of the day. Dawn and Rylee stopped by around 6:30pm and left about a half hour later. So another football Sunday it was.

Trunk sale bust...

We got up at 5:30 am and took showers. We finished loading the truck and headed out. We stopped at Dunkin for breakfast and then headed to DJ and Maggie's house. We followed them to the school and set up by 8 am. Thee were only 10 cars there. We only sold one thing for a buck and that was it. We left around noon and came home. We had to go to Costco to pick up a few things then came home. I took a nap and Beth worked in the garage and can finally get her car in it. Beth made dinner tonight, so I could watch football. She made chicken, backed potatoes, and corn on the cob. YUM YUM YUM.

Trunk sale..

We got up really late this morning as we watched all of the football game last night. We had breakfast and took showers. We then headed to go pick up the caddy. We stopped at a little road side stand and got corn, tomatoes, pumpkins, and some apple cider. We came home and had some lunch and then went back to the garage. we are getting stuff together for the truck sale at Payton's school tomorrow. Liz cam by for a visit and I had to go to the bank for change. We loaded up what we could tonight and will do the rest in the morning. we have to be there by 7am and I am sure a Dunkin trip will be in store before hand.

Not a great game for eagles fans....

We were up a little late this morning and just went downstairs and walked on the treadmill. We then went outside to work. Beth worked in the garage and I worked in the flower bed. I dug up all the carpet lilies and then replanted them in a straight line about 8 inches from the edge of the bed. I soon found I had way too many bulbs. So I sued what I could and then gave the rest to Dawn. Payton's school is having a yard sale on Saturday and we are going to take some stuff down and see if it will sell, so we will spend tomorrow getting things ready. Dawn and Rylee came over around 5;45pm for dinner. we ordered from Ice House and after waiting 1hour and 20 minutes, Beth finally called. They said they could have it ready in 30 minutes and at that point everyone was starving. so we just threw some chicken nuggets and fries in the microwave and ate that. Not at all what we wanted but it was fast. We are now watching the Eagles / Chiefs and it is not looking good for the Eagles so far. I am very torn on who to root for, but know I just stay quite as it is better.

Cold...

We got up and decided not to go to the gym. It was really cold here and you needed a jacket. We had to meet someone in the sear's parking lot at 9:30am and then too the caddy in for service. We stopped and had lunch and then got home around 1pm. They called and said my truck was ready , so we went to pick that up. I cleaned the big grill and we put it on the deck and will the small one down to the back deck. We had dinner and they went over to see DJ, Maggie, and the boys. It is suppose to rain over the week-end, so I am hoping to move bulbs in the flower garden before then. As fall is on it way and the days and nights are getting colder.

Big sale...

I got up a little late this morning as we watched all the game last night. I had posted some scrapbook stuff on the yard sale site and had a few people interested. I sent some replies and then we headed to the gym. We came home and I called to get an appointment for tomorrow to get the oil changed. I had breakfast and took a shower. Beth was hungry for lunch as she has breakfast at 6:30am in the morning. So I fixed her a Italian panni and it sure looked good, but I was not hungry yet. We left around 12:30pm to go meet someone that Beth had bought something off the yard sale site. We then stopped at Rita's for ice cream cone. We came home and I went to the store. we then had to go meet another person to pick up another item Beth got. we both drove and then dropped off my truck at the dealership. We came home and I had to water the plants out back. I was very chilly today and fall is on it's way. I refuse to put on long pants and will hold out as long as possible.

Movie day

WE were up and at the gym by 9am this morning. We came home , had breakfast, and took showers. I came downstairs to watch some of the new movies I had. Beth worked on her desk and made several calls before the cable guy same at 12:30pm. He was able to change something with the cable splitter and so far things have worked great. I was able to watch 3 of the 6 movies and will watch the rest later. As I was cooking dinner, Rylee called and wanted to know it I could come up for a visit. So after dinner, we went up for about an hour. we came home and watched the MNF game. We turned off the air as it has been cool during the day. Kinda nice.

No defense...

Beth was up and at church by 8am. I took a shower and fed the dogs. Beth was home around 9:15am and DJ came by around 9:30am to get gabby. The Eagles had a 1pm game and we found that our defense is not good and can't stop anything, so we lost. The Eagles play the Chiefs on Thursday night, so I if root for the Eagles I have to fins some other place to do it. Decisions Decisions....

Football saturday...

We left around 10am to go check out a yard sale and only found one thing we wanted. We stopped at Costco and then came home. We had hoagies for lunch and then football was on. Beth went outside to work on the weeds behind the fence. It was a little cool today and only got to the high 60's. I think we will turn off the air next week and it will be nice.

Reverse roles...

We both got up late this morning and did not go to the gym. I went out and unloaded the mulch we got yesterday. I then came in the house and started laundry. Beth did all the running around and I stayed home, which is a switch for us. I also cleaned the kitchen and all the bathrooms. Sometimes it is easier to clean when she is gone. She came home and we had lunch and then she went out to cut the grass. DJ dropped off gabby around 3pm. We are watching here while they are gone racing this weekend. We took shower and I must say, we did not run out of hot water wit the new tank. It is only 35 gallons, but heats faster and uses less electric. We went up to Dawn and Jo's house around 6pm to watch Rylee as they had a dance meeting to go to. Tomorrow is my first Saturday to watch college football all day and I am looking forward to it.

Feeling HOT HOT HOT....

We got up and were at the gym by 8:30am. We came home and started working outside and it was very very humid. Rain was expected all day but did not hit until 7pm. I go the other flower moved and got the mums planted. Beth cleaned the pool filters. we had some lunch and took showers. We headed to colonial gardens to pay the landscaping bill and picked up some bulbs and much. Dawn dropped Rylee off around 5:45pm and she headed to her meeting. We had chicken tacos and the Beth left to go pick up Jojo from hockey as Kim and Lynne had a meeting at school. So now it is football time and the game is very boring. Neither team cam do anything, so will go to bed pretty soon. Not much rain but the temperatures will drop to the low 70's the next 7 days and low 50's at night. Fall is on the way.

New hot water heater..

I got up around 6:45am and headed to Dawn and Jo's house. I watched Rylee as she was not able to go to school today. Beth waited at home for the guys to install the new hat water heater. Dawn came home around 12:45am and I headed home. Beth said the guys would be here until 4pm, which after I knew what they were doing it sounded right. We have a smaller tank, but it heats up faster. So we will see. It was hotter than heck here today, but rain is on it's way to cool things off.

Plant moving...

We got up and went to the gym a little late this morning. we stopped by Lowe's after the gym to get some dirt and picked up a few mums. We came home and I began moving the bleeding heart. the spot it was in was too small , so I divided it and planted it by the steps. So we will see if it comes back up next year. I then had to take a shower and went to get my hair cut and colored. I then picked up Beth and we went back to Lowe's as we needed a couple more mums. Dawn called and we went up to watch Rylee as she had to go get her medicine for strep throat. She said she had a sore throat but never ran a fever. We were back home in about 30 minutes and had dinner. I then had to water the plants out front and back as the temperature were in the 90's today and will be again tomorrow.

Eagles win...

We were up and out the door to see Dr. Bill by 8:30am. There were a lot of cars in the parking lot and it took us almost 45 minutes of waiting. We then went to the gym and came home. We worked on getting the stones by the pool leveled out and filled in by the sidewalk. I worked on the square part and Beth cleaned out the coffin with all the pool toys. We posted the tiki bar on the yard sale site and it was gone with in 5 minutes and we made some money on it. We finally came in for lunch around 2pm and took showers. We headed to Dawn's house and had dinner up there. we watched the Eagles win and it was a great game.

Football sunday...

Beth was up and at church by 8am. I got up and took a shower and when she got home, we read the paper. I made the mac and cheese and everyone got here around 1pm. It was a good day of watching the red zone and all three of our teams survived in the football pool. We have Dr. Bill in the morning, so not sure we will watch all of the late game.

PA Rene Fest...

We were up around 8 am this morning. We took showers and Dawn and Rylee picked us up around 9:30am. We stopped at Dunk'in and got some breakfast then here to the festival. It was a great day and we had lots of us as you can see from the pictures. We left around 5:30pm and Rylee was asleep with in 5 minutes. After we got home, I had to make deviled eggs and Beth cut up the roast beef for tomorrow. That way we don't have a lot to do in the morning.

Good and Bad...

We did not make it to bed until 2am this morning and Beth was back up at 7am and I got up about 20 minutes later. Beth had to scoop the poop before the landscape guys here and I took a shower. The guys got here around 8am and started to work. The finished up around noon and we love the backyard. The pictures do not to it justice, so you will just have to come and see it. we still need to get some day lilies and other things in there, but the major stuff is in. Beth went downstairs to unlock the door as the furnace guy was coming at noon to clean the furnace. And of course she found water on the floor. It appears we have a leak in the hot water tank. Just great. It was just the start, but we will be getting a new one on Wednesday. So Beth spent the rest of the day cutting grass. I had to CVS as the doctor had to up my synthroid as the last change was too low. So it is off to bed as we are both tired and have the pan ren fest tomorrow.

Football season is on...

We were up and at the gym by 8:30 am. We came home and I started laundry. I then put landscaping fabric down on the 2 bare spots in front of the deck. We were not be doing anything with that area this year, so I did not want a lot of weeds to take over. The guy came to talk to us about installing an whole house generator. He will be giving us several quotes on different options and we will see what happens then. We left and went to the parks and rec office for out ticket to the PA renaissance festival on  Saturday, then on to the bank, AAA, and finally Costco. Dawn and Rylee came by around 5:45pm for dinner of chicken, stuffing, and green beans. Football kicked off tonight with a really good game.

Did nothing...

We were up, at the gym, and back home by 9:45am. we had breakfast and I can't say I really did anything else all day. Beth vacuumed  and mopped all the floors, so she was productive. We had steak and ate on the porch as it was a nice evening.

Cook books...

We got up and were out the door around 8:15am. I had to give blood and then we headed to the gym.  we were back home around 10am and I began working on the cookbooks in the kitchen. I had way too many and I did not use a lot of them. So off I went. Beth worked on her desk and paid bills. I had to go to Staples to get some envelop folders. I find I have a lot of recipes I pull out of magazines or off the internet that needed to be organized. I finally finished up around 4pm and had over 4o cooks to get rid of. That leaves plenty of room for new ones. We had eggs, potatoes, and ham for dinner. I then used the rest of the peaches in the same way as last week, except I put them in a pan as they were really ripe. They were just as good.

Pool and friends...

We got up and went to the gym this morning. we came home and got ready for the cook out. Everyone was here around 1pm. We had burgers and hotdogs on the grill and Beth made potato salad.
It started to rain but did not last long. The water was 84 degrees and great for swimming. Rylee finally went down the slide by herself and even off the end.  It was a great time and the last pool party for the year.

On the run...

Beth was up and at church by 8am. She stopped and got a paper on the way home and we had breakfast and read the paper. We then left and headed to Exton. I was meeting someone to get some pie mold I purchase off the Pottstown yard sale site. we then went to BJ's wholesale club and had lunch at Chipotle's. We then stopped at Michael's, AC Moore, and the auto store. We made it home around 4pm. I watched some football before taking a little nap.  We had leftover from the fridge as tomorrow is trash day and everything must go. we then went to the grocery store as we are having a cook out tomorrow and needed some things.

Football and fun...

Beth was up early as the cable guy was suppose to be here between 7 and 9 am. I got up at 7:30am and he was not here. He came about 8:30am and gave us a new box for the living room as our was defective. we took showers and headed to the ranch. DJ had told us about some path that was made through the field. When we got there we drove the path and found it lead to the river, so someone must have be using it to fish or float the river. So no big deal to us, Just wanted to make sure no one was putting up deer stands. we then went to Cabela's for some shopping. We found a few things and then went to Long John Silver's for lunch. I made in home in time to watch several of the college football games that started today. Beth cut the grass and then I fixed dinner. We had marinated flat iron steak and veggies. I then made grilled peaches with honey butter and yogurt on them. Yum Yum. So it was a day of fun and football. Can't wait for the NFL game to start next Thursday. Movie with kids...

Beth got up early and went to Dawn and Jo's house. I got up around 7:45am and her and Rylee were just coming in the door. Beth went to get milk and donuts for breakfast and I took a shower. Beth left around 11am to go pick up Payton and  Lynne dropped off Jojo around 11:15am. I fixed chicken nuggets and fries for lunch for the kids and Beth and I had salads with chicken. We loaded the car with all 3 kids and went to go see the movie planes. The kids had popcorn, cookies, and some soda. They all loved the movie and had a great time. When we got home, we had the kid make stepping stones to put in the new landscape area. They had a good time doing that. The kids then ran around the house playing. DJ and Maggie stopped by around 4pm to get Payton, Kim and Lynne got here around 4:15pm to get Jojo and Dawn was here around 5:15pm to get Rylee. The house was very quite after that , so we ordered dinner and are now resting after a long day. It was great having the kids and they play with each other now, so we only have to supervise. Payton fell asleep 5 minutes later at Wal-Mart.

Laundry and football...

After the gym, I started laundry and Beth went out to clean the mover decks. The rain was still coming down a little, but it was too wet to cut the grass. We had some lunch and I had to go to AC Moore and the grocery store. Dawn and Rylee came by around 5:45pm and then Dawn left for an appointment. We had Bar-B-Que chicken for dinner and it was really good. We then went downstairs to watch football as both college and pro was on. The eagles second team offence did nothing good to speak of, but the defense did have some shining moments. So now the wait for cut downs on Saturday to see who makes the team.

Rain Rain

We were up and at the gym by 8:30am. It was just beginning to rain, but looked like it was here to stay if it did. We got home and had breakfast and it was really coming down. I baked Rylee's cupcakes and then let them cool. After they cooled, I frosted and decorated them and they turned out nice. I took a shower and we had to go to Best Buy. we dropped off the cupcakes and Dawn and Jo's hose and head to Best Buy. We had just got on the bridge, when traffic came to a stand still. We sat there for about 20 minutes and then started to move, bet we could not any signs of an accident. We had to get a new modem for the house to see if that fixes out internet being dropped. It did rain all day long and is still raining. That means the landscaping that was to start tomorrow will not happen and will be pushed back til next week. Oh boy, here we go again.

Company...

We were up, at the gym, and back home by 10am. I took a shower and had just finished dressing, when the door bell rang. It was the guys from Deck R Us wanting to look at the deck again. We talked to them for a while and they a couple things wrong with the deck spindles and would be out to replace them. we never saw it, but once they point it out you can see it. Then the landscape came by to spray the grass and to get a look at the additional space for landscaping. They will start on the this Thursday. They left and we had some lunch, then Kim and Jojo came by. I had to run to the post office, AC Moore, and Bed Bath and Beyond. I was back home by 2:30pm and Kim and Jojo were just leaving. I left around 4pm to go see Rylee's last dance lesson as the parent got to go in the last 20 minutes of class. She was so cute and did a good job. I then brought Rylee home with me, as Dawn had a softball game. Jo came to pick her up around 6:30pm and we then had ribs for dinner. So it was a busy day with lots of people in and out all day.

Cleaning...

We were up and out the door by 8"45am. We were seeing Dr. Jill today as Dr. Bill was on vacation. After our adjustments, we headed to the gym and then came home. We had some lunch and Beth went to work on cleaning the garage and I cleaned the tool room. We worked on them til almost 6pm and then came in and took showers and had dinner. Now it is time for bed and I am so ready.

Draft day..

We were up and having breakfast by 9am this morning. I took a shower and began preparing the rest of the food for the draft party. Beth mopped the upper deck and then took her shower. People started arriving around 12:30pm and the draft started a little after 1pm. We took a break at round 8 and then finished the draft by 3:30p. Everyone had left around 6pm and we cleaned up. I helped Beth enter the teams in the computer and everything is ready to go. It is now bed time as last night was a late night.

Happy Annervisary...

We got up around 8am this morning and got dressed. We then went outside to do some work. I worked on weeding the flower bed and Beth scrubbed the fence. Wendy and Jeff came by for a visit around noon and it was nice since we had not seen them in awhile. After they left, I took a shower. Dawn, Jo, and all the kids came by for a swim. The boys and their sister had stayed the night and where going swimming before going home. Beth took her shower and we left to g to BJ wholesale club and then to dinner at the Melting Pot. We had a great dinner and then stopped by Dawn and Jo's house for a visit and watched the first quarter of the Eagles game. The first team players did not look that good, but we did win the game. We then switched to the Phillies game and it is in the 17 inning and still tied. I am off to bed and hope somebody wins soon.

Good game...

I got up around 8am this morning. Beth was already out washing the patio furniture. I started laundry and began cleaning the house. I took a shower around 11am and then went to Costco, the grocery store, and CVS. We had lunch out on the porch as it was a nice day. Beth got all the grass cut with only a few rain drops. We took Buster in to be groomer and then had to run to Beth's bank. we stopped and had dinner and then picked up Buster to come home. The Phillies beat the Diamondback in 9 innings with a bases loaded walk. It was a ready good game at least from the Phillies side. We then watched the football game and are now ready for bed.

Movie time...

WE were up and at the gym by 8:30 am and bay home by 9:45am. We took showers and headed to go get Payton around 11am. It started to rain and rained most of the day. We then picked up Jojo and headed to McDonald's for some lunch. It was then on to the movies and we saw Turbo. It was really cute and the kids had a good time. We dropped off all the kids and then came home around 4pm. We both took a quick nap and I started dinner around 5:45pm when Dawn and Rylee got here. Dawn left around 6:45pm for an appointment and Jo came by around 7pm. She had some dinner and then her and Rylee left around 8pm. We are now watching football and can't wait for the regular season.

More yard work...



We were up and at the gym by 8:30 am this morning. After the gym, we went to the nursery on route 100 to look at their day lilies. We did not find any but did 4 sculptures for the landscaping out back. I will take pictures tomorrow of them. We then came home and Beth worked outside removing several small trees from the flower beds. I know I was busy, but can't think of what I really did. So I guess that was it for today. LOL

Cindy got a job...

We were up and at the gym by 8:15 am. We came home showered and left around 11am to go see the landscaper. We talked about changes to the plans for the back yard and the plants we did not like. We left there and went to the pool store. The box for the pool sweeper was not working right, so we needed to get it looked at. Not sure what was wrong with it, but it could not be fixed, so they gave us a new one. We then went to get some lunch and then on to the AAA store. We had to make arrangements for transportation for the February trip and made a payment on it. We then went to the cable company and got new HD boxes for the TV. Then on to the beer store for a new keg for the draft on Sunday. After that, it was to the bank and finally home. Beth hooked up the new cable boxes and I tried to take a nap, but it just was not happening. My mom text me to say my sister finally a job and will start tomorrow. What a relief it was. We had soup for dinner and the a trip to Pier 1, but did not find anything.

Day of phone calls...

We were up and at the gym by 8:30 am this morning. We had breakfast when we got home and then it was a day of making phone calls. Beth had to call the cable company, the termite people, the lawn people, a couple more people. I had to call the hospital, my insurance people, the AAA girl,  and talked to my mom. I was able to get the yard sprayed for weeds and Beth got Pooh's corner cleaned out. It rained off and on all day, but did not amount to anything, just a pain in the butt. We had left overs for dinner and we are not watching the football game. I love having football on 5 nights a week.

Clean up...

Beth was up first and I got up around 8:15 am. We had breakfast and got dressed. I was going to spray the yard for weeds, but the rain started. So We cleaned out the back deck. It was a mess with all the dirt that had piles up from the rain and the bush need a trim. So we spent about a 2couple hours getting it clan and I will power wash it next week. We then worked on trimming some trees out back and I called it a day. I took a shower and had some lunch. Beth was working on the rocks around the pool deck and came inside about a hour later. DJ and Maggie came over for a visit and we had a good time.

No much...

I got up around 8 and Beth got up at 9am. We had breakfast and I took a shower. I put a roast in the crock pot for dinner. We then went to Wal-Mart for some cable for the TV and came home. Beth started cutting the yard and I finished laundry. We started watching football at 4:30pm and Beth went to church at 5:30pm. I fixed dinner when she got home and we spent the rest of the evening watching football. So I did not do much today.

New TV...

We slept until 8 am this morning. We then got up and went to the gym and stopped by Lowe's on the way home. I needed some Weed-B-Gone for the weeds in the back yard. Beth took a shower and went to get her hair cut. I took a shower and made us some lunch when she got home. We then went to JC Penney to return a pair of swim shorts I got the other day and Beth got a couple pair since they were on clearance. We stopped by BJ's on the way home to get some things for the church food drive and we also got a new TV for the living room. We came home and I took a little cat nap. We heard that our baseball manager was fired today and it was kinda sad, but that is how baseball is. We had chicken for dinner and then set up the new TV. is is really nice and bigger than the one we had there.

Kid day...

Beth got up the same time I did this morning, so that meant she would not be going to the gym. I left around 8:15 and was back home by 9:30am. Kim dropped off Jojo around 9:45am and Beth left to go to mass. She was back home around 11am and we had lunch around noon. Beth and Jojo spent the rest of the afternoon playing Wii and I worked on scrapbook stuff. Kim picked up Jojo and we left around 5pm to go get Rylee. We went to McDonald's for dinner, then back to their house. The Eagles' game was on at 7:30pm and we won. Our boys looked good on both sides of the ball. Dawn and Jo got home around 11pm from the viewing of Jo's uncle. So it is bed time for us and I am so ready.

Shopping...

We got up and went to the gym this morning and were back home around 9am. Kim dropped off Jojo around 10 am. I went out and worked on the edging on the flower bed by the drive way, put some grass seed down , and put together the deck box. Beth left around 11am to go get a free 1/2 hour massage. Jojo read her book as she has a book report due by the beginning of school. When Beth came home, we had lunch and headed to KOP. I needed a new inset for my bed pillow and then we went shopping at JC Penny's. I was able to find a couple pair of swim shorts that go with the new swim suits I got over the summer. We dropped off Jojo and then came home. CJ stopped by to get Liz's TV so the cable guy could hook it up and make sure it was working. I then fixed steak for dinner. I think we might turn off the air for awhile as it is cooler outside most of the night and part for the day. Only getting the 80 the next 5 days and getting in the upper 50's at night. We did not have much of a summer with high temps and I feel we will have an early fall.
