Rain oh my...

We woke up around 8 am this morning. We found that it had rained over 3 inches last night. we had breakfast and took showers. Beth began cleaning the floors as they really needed it. I went to the grocery store to get the remaining things for the Superbowl party on Sunday. I saw DJ at the store and we talked awhile. I came home and we had lunch. I can't say I really did much of anything else this afternoon. I made chicken parm with spaghetti for dinner. Dawn and Rylee got here around 5:45 pm and Jo was able to join us also. We had great conversation and they left around 7:30 pm. The guy is coming tomorrow to get some paperwork from us on the sewer. We hope they don't start until we get back from vacation, as I want to see how they do it.

Not much today...

Beth was up early and i got up around 8 am this morning. Beth had a gyno appointment at 9:30 and was back home by 10:15 am. I cleaned the dining and living room and need to only vacuum now. I then worked on finishing Payton Disney book. It started to rain around 3 pm and is expected to rain all night long and be in the 30's tomorrow. So we did not do much today.

More changes...

We were up around 8 am this morning. We had showers and bagels for breakfast. We had an appointment to see John our financial guy to talk about out portfolio. We made some changes to hopefully give a little more income, but still remained secured. We left there and came home for some lunch. I cancelled the health insured we got last week, as it was just not right for us. I had a hair appointment at 1 pm for a much needed cut and color. Not much happened the rest of the day and it was kinda cloudy but the temperatures were in the 40's. Going to be in the 60's tomorrow, but back to the 30's the rest of the week.

Car Insurance...

We got up around 7:30 am this morning. We had appointments to see Dr. Bill at 9 am. We left there and went to the post office to mail my medical forms. I hope to hear something back by Monday. We then went to see Beth's car insurance lady. She was able to save me $200 a year on my car insurance. We then left to go pick up Rylee from school. It was snowing our and was going to change to freezing rain in the afternoon. They felt safer with her at home and not with them on the way home in freezing rain. And we love spending time with her. We came home and all had lunch. She then took a 2 hour nap. We then took Rylee home and had dinner with Dawn and Jo. The weather is suppose to be in the 40's tomorrow then 60 on Wednesday  before shooting back to the 30's. Some crazy weather we are having.

Snow all gone...

We got up around 8:30 am this morning. We had leftover breakfast pizza and took showers. I went down to scrap book and Beth took a trip to Lowe's. We had a late lunch and not much else happened the rest of the afternoon. We watched part of the pro bowl, but I soon got bored with it. We had a busy day tomorrow and alot or running to do.

Not much snow...

We got up around 8:30 am this morning. I took a shower and made a breakfast pizza and it turned out really good. Beth went to out to clean the snow off the driveway. We only got about a 1 or 2 inches and it was already melting. i worked on scrap book stuff all afternoon. Beth went to mass this evening and I had dinner of chicken, stuffing, peas, and cranberry sauce ready when she got home. Yum Yum. So only football game on tomorrow is the pro bowl and not really interested in it, but might watch the first half.

Snowing...

We got up late this morning. It was a clod and very cloudy day. Snow was on the way and should hit this afternoon. I started laundry and went down to work on scrap booking. Beth played with her rock tumbling stuff. The snow started around 4 pm and was coming down hard. We will see how much we get in the morning. We had soup and salad for dinner ans the chicken we were suppose to have did not thaw in time, so it will get cooked tomorrow.

Vet and Dentist...

We were up around 8:30 am this morning. We had breakfast and took showers. I got a call saying my med records were ready to be picked up. So I went down and got then and then stopped by Costco. I had to get bagels, pork chops, 2 chuck roasts, and some pita hips. I came home and Beth left to take buster to the vet. They were not able to find anything wrong with his anal glands and did another calcium test. So we are still waiting on his results. Beth came home, we had a quick lunch,  and the bug guy showed up. Beth left to go to the dentist. The took out the filing and the corner of her tooth fell off. So they banded it and put another filling in. She was back home around 3:30 pm and I was in the scrap book room working on the Panama pictures. Dawn and Rylee came by around 6 pm for Taco Thursday. Rylee had 2 tacos all by herself. It was a good evening.

budget time...

We were woken by the phone this morning at 7:55 am. It was the doctor's office calling saying Beth's x-ray was normal and they she should use heat and the pills. So we got up and had breakfast and showers. We then left and went to Target and the grocery store. We had some lunch and sat down to go over the budget for this year. We still have some amount we are guessing on, but we are in a better position to know what we need to do. We had steak for dinner and it was really good. Jess came by and bought Beth's old phone. It was another cold bay and never got to 20 degrees. They are calling for 1-3 inches of snow on Friday. Something to look forward to.

Hobby Lobby...

We got up around 8:30 am this morning. We had bagels for breakfast and took showers. We left around 10:15 am for Hobby Lobby. It takes about a hour 20 to get there and the drive way nice. It was colder than crap out and the high today was on 21 degrees. I had a gift card for Hobby Lobby from Christmas and was in need of paper. They had some stickers on sale, but I did not need much in that area. We went to CiCi pizza for lunch and came home. I found a letter from Blue Cross on an insurance application and they were asking for additional information. So I had to go the cancer doctor to get a copy of my records for the last 5 years. Who knows what that will cost to get everything printed and then had to stop by the chiropractor for a letter from them. So in a week or so, I can send back all the stuff they need ans see if I am approved. We did out rejection letter from the United Health care and we were rejected because our height and weight were not within their guidelines. Not that we had pre-existing conditions, but because were are not on their height and weight guideline. What a bunch of crap. Beth went to get her arm x-ray after dinner, hope we here something about it tomorrow.

Getting colder...

We got up around 8:30 am this morning. We had breakfast and took showers. I made a called to Blue Cross to see my application for reduced insurance had been accepted and found they were out of the office today. So I will call again tomorrow. Beth called to ask it our deductions called over to the new policy and they do. She headed to the doctor around 12:30 pm to have her arm looked at. She thinks maybe she hurt it when she had her knees done with all the pulling it took lifting her from place to place. The doctor wants and x-ray and gave her some pills. So she will have an x-ray don in the next couple days. I almost have Payton's Disney book done and hope to finish it by the week-end. We are going to Hobby Lobby tomorrow, which should be fun. The temperature the next few day will be bitter cold and will not be above 25.

Great games...

We got up around 8:30 am this morning  I put a roast in the crock pot and let it cook all day long. Beth went to 10:30 mass and was home around 11:45 am. It was a nice day out, so we went outside to do a little yard work. We were back in side around 1 pm and had some lunch. Dawn, Jo, and Rylee came down around 3:30 pm to watch the games with us. They were both really good games and it will be a good Superbowl with brother against brother coaching.

Insurance issues,,,

So after talking until one in the morning, we decided the insurance we got is not right for us. It was great for office visits and prescription drugs, but sucked for major medical. So we decided to go with Blue cross again and take the basic 2 plan. It is a hundred and 30 dollars less than the basic one plan that we have now. So now we are going to have to tighten the things we do and cut alot of things to make it work, but it is really the best thing for us. So we slept until 9:30 am this morning. we had a light breakfast and took showers. We talked a little more about some things and then decided we made the right choice. So we will have several phone calls to make on Monday. I spent the rest of the day scrap booking and Beth did some stuff downstairs. She want to get back to her rock tumbling,

Finally some insurance...

We got up around 8 am this morning. We had breakfast and took showers. I started laundry. I will sure be glad when summer is is and there is less laundry to do. We left and went to Lowe's and Michael's. we had some lunch and I went downstairs to scrapbook. I got a call on the insurance we fill out on Tuesday. We were both rejected and he could not tell us why, but he was still looking. So I called up a guy I had talked to before. he was able to get us both approved with no problems and reasonable rates. So we will see what happens the first time we use it.

Grilled cheese and soup...

We got up around 8:30 am this morning. Beth had an appointment to see her knee doctor, so she was out the door by 9:30 am. I stayed home and cleaned the bathroom and the bedroom. Beth stopped by BJ's on the way home for a few things. She was back home around noon. We had lunch and then watched the press conference on the new Eagles head coach. That only leave your team mom with no head coach. We then went to go get the grill tank filled. I then had to go to the store and get gas. I had a dollar off per gallon and paid $2.39 a gallon. I have not paid under 2 buck in so long it felt good. We came home and Dawn and Rylee came over for dinner. We had grilled cheese and soup. Beth and Dawn had tomato and Rylee and I had chicken and stars. She loves to drink the soup form the bowl. We then had berries and whipped cream for dessert. Jo stopped by for a few minutes and everyone left around 8 pm.

Cold and Rainy...

We got up around 8:30 am this morning  I made french toast for breakfast and then took a shower. We had some errands to do, so off we went. We went to AC Moore as they had scrapbook book on sale and then to Bed Bath and Beyond. Next was Best Buy and finally on to Wal-mart. We came home and had lunch and then rested. My knee was killing me today as it was so damp and cold. We went to TGIF for dinner as we had a coupon to use. It was then off to Bath and Body works as we needed hand soap and they had it on sale. So we are finally home from a day running all day.

Still waiting...

We got up around 9 am and had breakfast. We took showers and watched them work on the houses across the street. We had some lunch and the insurance guy was here right at 1 pm. We talked about several plans he had and asked alot of questions. Some he could not answer, but that was alright. We went ahead an ahead and filled out the information on the plan that fit us the best. But again, we do not know if they will cover our pre-existing issues. Mine had a better chance since I an 5 years out and Beth is only a year. But again we have to wait and see. So 3 hours later he left and we were both brain dead. I don't know why the ask the same question 5 times and if you answer yeas, you have a whole other set of question to answer. We had the other half of the London broil tonight and I was about 10 minute of taking it off the grill ans we ran out of gas. I knew it would be close, but no big deal. So off to get propane tomorrow.

Boobie squeeze...

We were up around 7:30 am this morning  We had appointments to see Dr. Bill at 9 am. We headed out and out the highway was backed up, so we took a detour and made it only being 5 minutes late. We there and came home. We had left over pizza for lunch and I headed to the hospital for my boobie squeeze. It was not too bad and and did not have any wait. Beth left at 2:15 pm to go see her dentist. Her back tooth has been bothering her and she wanted to get it looked at. She had a cracked filling, but she did not take her pills before hand, so she will have to go back next week.

Pizza day...

We got up around 9:30 am this morning. Beth took a shower and headed to 10:30 am mass. I took a shower and folded the clothes. When Beth came home , we had lunch and went downstairs. We watched the first ball game in the scrapbook room. Dawn, Jo, and Rylee came down to do their laundry and watch the game with us. We ordered pizza for dinner and it came around 6:15 pm. Rylee was so tired and almost feel asleep a couple of times. The headed home around 6:30 pm and we tried to watch the last game, but it was a blow out. I am so ready ready for bed and it is only 7:45 pm. I will be glad when this insurance stuff is over and we can move on. Hopefully on Tuesday.

Another football saturday...

Beth was up and out the door by 7 am. She went to watch Jojo play hockey. I slept until 8 am and then too a shower. I started the laundry and Beth was home by 9 am. I cleaned the kitchen an little and went downstairs to scrapbook. Beth took a nap around 2 pm and Jo came down around 3 pm to use our washer. Their took a kick and they had a load in it. After she left, Beth finished her nap and was up around 4:30 pm for the kickoff. We watched the first game and are ready to head to Jo and Dawn's house for their holiday party that was cancelled in December.

Insurance...

We got up around 8 am this morning. We started looking again at different insurance plans. I called Blue cross and spoke with and agent and determined I could apply for a PPO 30 policy and see if they would wave the cancer part. So now I have to wait 1 to 3 weeks and see. All I can do is pray they accept it. It would save me 500 buck a month. I left and went to CVS to see what my meds would cost with out insurance and they would run me $267 a month. So I came home and started fixing dinner. We had had it with the phone calls from different brokers trying to sell us insurance. It is such a confusing process on what is covered and all the other things that go with it. We had 37 calls yesterday and 7 already this morning. Beth finally picked up the phone and told the person on the other line we were not looking any more. He started explaining and few things to Beth and it sounded like a good deal. So I took the call and asked several questions. He pointed me to the website and everything  I told him I wanted to research it a little more and would call him back. We did see in little print they they would not pay anything for one year on preexisting conditions. That is not good for me as I have a body scan due this year. So more question back to him on Monday and also to see if Beth can get on the plan also. We also got some bad news on Buster. He may had several of his test come back and they want to recheck him in 3 weeks. It may be cancer related or something else, so we can only hope it is treatable. So all in all this year has not started off well. We did have dinner with Dawn and Jo tonight to celebrate Dawn's birthday. Happy Birthday Dawn.

No radio....

We got up around 8:30 am this morning. We had breakfast and I took a shower. Beth was having a no shower day. I left and went tot AC Moore and Michael's for a couple things for Payton's Disney book. I then stopped and gave my truck a bath. I also found I had no radio when I got in the morning. It appears to not be a fuse issue, but will have it checked when I take it in for inspection. Beth worked on cleaning the downstairs and getting ready for the Superbowl party. I worked in the scrapbook room. I fixed steak for dinner and are now watching TV. I am so ready for bed.

Monster's Inc....

We were up around 10 am this morning. We we skipped breakfast, since it was so late, and just had showers. We left the house around 12:30 pm and went the UPS store to mail Ken jacket, which should arrive on Monday. We then had lunch and went to the AAA store to get our paperwork for the Universal Studio trip. We then headed to the movie theater to see Monster's Inc in 3-D. We had coupons for 10 buck off each ticket and still had to paid 3 bucks each. Seeing a movie is expensive. We left there and went to BJ's wholesale club. We are have a Superbowl party and doing all finger foods. We picked up a few things and will also see what Costco has. We came home and had leftover green beans and ham for dinner. I then went downstairs to work on scrap book stuff and Beth watched Finding Nemo in 3D.

No Irish...

We both slept until 9 am this morning. We had some breakfast and took showers. Beth worked on finding her desk and I went to the scrapbook room. I came upstairs around 5 pm to heat up the green beans and ham for dinner. I put some biscuits in the oven and watch TV til it was ready. Mom package arrived today and we exchanged the jacket for a better one. I had gotten Ken an insulated jacket for Christmas and the zipper broke the first time he wore it. I can see shy after looking at it. About 20 or so teeth did not line up right, so we made sure this one was good and will send it back tomorrow. We settled in to was the BCS game and the Irish forgot to show up and play. Can't wait for all the talk tomorrow on TV about the game.

Yea Seahawks....

Beth was up and at church by 8 am this morning. I on the other hand, slept until 8:45 am and could have slept longer. I took a shower and was done, just as Beth got home. We had breakfast and read the paper. We then went to Dick's Sporting goods to look at a couple of things. We then stopped by the store for some lunch and headed to Dawn and Jo's house to watch the games. The games were a little more exciting today than yesterday games. I am so glad the seahawks won and may have to get a jersey for next week game. We came home and I was nice to watch Once Upon A Time on the same day it plays. Although it was strange to not be watching Sunday night football.

Playoffs begin...

We got up around 8:30 am this morning. I fix egg sandwiches for breakfast and they were very tasty. We both took showers and then headed to the garage to put away the Christmas stuff in the attic. We then came inside and had some lunch. I went downstairs to scrapbook and Beth puttered upstairs. We watch the first playoff game and then came upstairs to have some dinner. We then went to Dawn and Jo's house to help them move the love seat downstairs and then we visited awhile. We came home and the Packer are leading and I think they have the game well in hand. Two more games tomorrow to watch.

Run around day...

We got up around 8:30 am this morning. Beth had breakfast and I took a shower. After Beth took a shower, we had to take Buster to the groomer. We then went to Bed Bath and Beyond. We had to go to my bank, the post office, and Beth's nephew bank. We finally got lunch and came home. I did 4 loads of laundry and finally took a rest. I fixed Beth steak for dinner and then watch a little coverage of Andy Reid signing with the Chiefs. I think it will be a good fit for him and the Chiefs should do well. Now if the Eagles could only find a head coach. We are watching the cotton bowl as they are saying the Eagles are going to draft an o-line man from Texas AM as their first pick.

Go Ducks...

We got up around 8:30 am this morning. We had breakfast and took showers. I went to the store to get stuff for nachos tonight since the Fiesta bowl is on tonight. We got most of the Christmas stuff put away and will put the tubs in the attic tomorrow. Dawn and Rylee came by for dinner and we so enjoy our Thursday nights with them. We are now settled in to watch the Ducks and Wildcats duke it out and hope the Ducks win.

Happy New Year...

We slept until 9 am this morning. I finally us donuts in the baby cakes donut makers. They were pretty good and had some left over for tomorrow. We then took showers and I went to play on the Circut Craft room. I found a way to make the picture frames and weld items to them. I went downstairs to print them and found the frame I needed I did not have that cartridge. So not fear, I jumped on the Internet and found it at JoAnn. The one by use had 2 in stock and they were on sale. So off we went to get on. I came back home and printed the project and it worked the way I hoped. So now I can do the things I wanted and don't have to spend so much on buying them. It was a great day. I fixed some lunch and Beth hooked up the Internet to the computer in the scrapbook room. This will allow me to use the craft room and design more projects. I spent the rest of the day in the scrapbook room print off pictures for Payton's Disney trip and will begin working on them tomorrow. I did get the Christmas stuff upstairs put away and will work on the downstairs this week. So it is a new year and we are hoping for a little better year, but will take what it has in store for us.
