NFL Draft...

We wee up around 8am. Dawn called and Rylee was sick. Beth went to go get some meds for her at CVS. We then went to the bank and to the post office. We had lunch and then went to see Rylee. She had been throwing up most of the morning and finally fell sleep. She was running a little fever, but finally kept some food down around 5pm. We had dinner at home then went up to watch the NFL draft with Dawn. For all the talk today about the Eagles trading up to the number 2 spot, they did nothing and got a pretty good player. So we will see what tomorrow holds.

Dentist...

I got up around 8am. I took a shower and headed to the dentist. I don't mind going to the dentist anymore as it is always good news. Beth left before I got home to go see Dr. Bill. We had some lunch and then headed to the movies. I saw insurgent and Beth saw some other movie. They were both just ok movies. We then went to BJ's wholesale club. There was a wreck on the highway that closed part of the highway, so we went the back way home. It took a little longer but it was worth it. It was a nice day and suppose to rain the next could days.

Looks like rain, but not

We were up around 7:30am. We took showers and headed to see Dr. Bill. Today was family wellness check so they were backed up and we finally got out around 10am. We came home and I went downstairs to work and Beth cut the grass. It looked like it was going to rain, but only got a little sprinkle. I went to pick Rylee up from school and took her to swimming. We got home around 6:20 and I fixed dinner. Dawn came by to get Rylee around 7pm. I see am getting another load or 2 of mulch tomorrow to finish the front up.

Shopping...

We both had trouble going to sleep last night. I finally turned in around 2am and Beth around 5:30am. I got up around 9:45am and Beth got up around 11am. Dawn called and wanted to know if we wanted to go to the outlet mall and have lunch. I had a couple of places to go, so she picked us up and away we went. We finally got home around 3:30pm. I worked on the vases and Beth worked on the pine needles around the pool. We had chicken salad for dinner and I am ready for bed.

More running...

We were up around 8:30am. It got down to 31 degrees last night and was still only 42 when we got up. We had some breakfast and took showers. Beth had a couple places to go to first and then we  hit AC Moore, five below, and the Party Store. we got some Chinese for lunch, then hit Michael's. We decided to go with fake flowers for the wedding and found ones we were looking for to go in the vases. We will hit Hobby Lobby some time to find what we will carry. We came home and I had to cut the stems for the flowers we will use for the center pieces. So Beth and I cut 165 stems. What a chore, but it had to be done. We did a tally of everything we have in the wedding tubs and found we have most everything right now. I sure home warmer weather comes soon, or I will think long and hard about going back to Florida.

Colder than crap...

We were up around 8am. We had breakfast and took showers and headed to Joan's house. We finished painting the wall and loaded up some stuff. We were back home around 11am. I went to the store and picked up lunch. It was colder than crap out today and still rainy. I fixed dogs and burgers on the grill for dinner. Rylee and Dawn came by after swimming lessons. I did laundry done and the house cleaned, so it was a productive day.

A day of rest....

We were around 8:30. We had breakfast and took showers. we left to go to the outlet mall for shoes, then on to Professional Pharmacy, then to Lowe's. We purchased several flowers and will have planting n our future. We came home and had lunch. We were suppose to pick up Rylee, but Dawn got off early and picked her up and came to our home. Dawn left for her appointment and we took Rylee to swimming and then went to Joan's house. We had dinner and Beth put the primer coat on the wall. we will go tomorrow morning and paint it and should be done. It was nice this morning, but the clouds rolled in with rain and cold weather with it. It will be in the low 50's the next several days.

Proud of me...

We were up by 7:30am. Dawn asked us to go over and check out Joan's sump pump. She felt it was running on the backup and not the new pump. So we got dressed and went over to take a look. I did some testing and found that the float on the new unit was not set right and the backup was kicking on before the new one. So she called the company and they would sent someone to see about it. They did find that case to be true and set the backup a little higher and said it was their fault. So we left and went to get a load of mulch, The whole back and front yard needed it. So we came home and I started uploading it. I was really proud that I did the area by the house and took no breaks. So I started unloading it in the front. I was a little short in the one area and felt like I could do another truck load. So off I went to get another load. I came home and we had lunch and off I went again. The last 3 loads I could start to feel tired, but it was a good feeling to get it unloaded. Beth helped on the parts close to the cab, but I did most of it. Yea me. So mom, yes I am feeling better.

Daywall

We slept until 8:30am this morning. We took showers and had breakfast. We headed out to pick up Dawn and Rylee, then went to Lowe's to get the stuff we needed to fix Joan's hole in her drywall where she had a crack in the foundations. It was a strip around 14 inches wide and 80 inches long with another right beside it about 13 inches wide by 10 inches long. We decided it would be best to knock the hole a square 31 1/2 by 80 so the drywall would fit better. It took a couple hours to get that to happen. I cut the drywall and we fitted it with some trimming. Dawn and Beth did most of the work, I keep Rylee out of the way. We took a break around 2pm and had lunch, then finished up the first coat of mud and left around 4:30pm. We will go back tomorrow for a sand down and another set of mud. Hopefully it will be done by Wednesday.

Birthday party..

We were up around 8am this morning. We played on the computer most of the morning before leaving to go to Grayson's 2nd birthday party. It was about an hours drive to Jersey.

 

 

We had a good time and Grayson had fun opening all his gifts. We came home and stopped at WAWA for hoagies. I had to go to the store as I promised Rylee I would make buffalo chicken dip for her tomorrow.

Program done..

Beth was up and went to Friday mass at Jojo school. She was doing something in it but not sure what. I got up and started laundry. I started working on the program for the wedding. Just putting some ideas to paper and figured Beth would help when she got home. She got home around noon and we worked on the program over lunch and she did her magic in Photoshop and the front it all done and it looks great. I am working on the back and I am sure she will finish it tonight. She left to go take Jojo to dinner and a movie. Jojo is at the age she wants to spent time with Beth. I had the same thing with Kyle when he was that age. It is a good feeling and a good bonding time.

Power tool rental...

We were up and out the door around 10am. We went to rent a electric snake to clean out the gutter pipe underground. We forum of the 6 we had, 3 were good and 3 have to be rerouted above ground. Dawn stopped by and spent the afternoon with us. I took the snake back and then went to Wal-Mart. I came home and then surprised Rylee by picking her up at school. We had tacos for dinner then played with bubbles after dinner. It was a nice sunny day and got up to the 70.

Short night...

For some reason neither one of us could sleep last night and we had to be up by 6am. We took showers and headed over to Jo's mom. She was have some plumbing and electrical work done and they wanted us to make sure she was not taken advantage of. The work was all done by 10:30am and we headed home. We had a quick lunch and then went to take a nap. I took a 30 minute nap which was a long one for me and Beth too a 2 1/2 hour one. I had to take Kyle to work and then came home and fixed pancakes for dinner. We then went to Costco for a few things and back home. I am so ready for bed and home to make up for lost sleep.

Nice day....

We were up around 7am and headed out the door to see Dr. Bill at 9am. We stopped at Dunkin on the way home for breakfast. Beth took Buster to the groomer around 10:30am and the guy came to service the mower around 11am. I sprayed the weeds again and hope they show they are dying tomorrow or I will have to pull them. I had to take Kyle to work and let him drive some more. I made dinner and we did a Faceoff marathon the rest of the evening. It was a really nice warm day today.

Tired....

We were up around 8:30am. I had breakfast and I took a shower. Beth got dressed and went out to work on her project. I went out to tackle the landscaping in the back yard. All the bushed needed to be trimmed and the blood grass and poppas grass needed to be cut down. I had to spray all the little weeds starting to come up and rack all the dead leaves. It took me about 5 hours and I got most of it done. I should be able to finish it tomorrow. It was finally a nice day sunny day and it needed to be done. I fixed steak on the grill for dinner and we are both very tired and sore.

Where did the day go...

I got up around 8:30 and Beth was up around 9:30pm. We took showers and had some breakfast. We headed out and went to AC Moore and then went to lunch at Sonic. We stopped at Home Depot and picked up a few things and then went to Lowe's. Beth working on a project for the wedding. We came home and did, well I am not sure. We had dinner and then went to Lowe's and Michael's. Not sure where the day went, but we did get some stuff done.

Finally a slow day...

We were up around 830am. we had breakfast and took showers. I started laundry and Beth ran some errands. I left to go to Lowe's and Michael's then to the bank. Dawn and Rylee came for dinner around 5:30pm and left around 7:30pm. It was a slow day for once, but still cloudy, cold , and rainy. Come on sun...

More shopping...

We were up around 8:30am. we had breakfast and took showers. We headed out around noon to go to Reading. We stopped at the Restaurant store for a few things, to on to Office Depot as they had a going out of business sale. We picked up a few things and then it was lunch time. I promised Beth we could go to Chipotle's and it was really good. Then it was on to Michael's to get the rest of the flowers. We were back home around 4pm. I made chicken salad for dinner. It was another cloudy, rainy, crappy day and will be for a couple more days.

Flowers...

Kim called this morning and we got up. We needed her to stop by to look at the patterns we got for the girls for the wedding. After she left, we took showers. We headed to Michael's to look at a couple things and found they had the flowers we needed for the center pieces for the wedding and they were 1/2 price. So I needed 45 of white, red, and yellow. I found most of the yellow and white, but only 5 of the red. So we stopped at Lowe's for a couple things and came home. We had lunch and Beth went to get her hair cut. I went to the Michael's in Exton and hit the jackpot on the red. I only need 6 more and I hope we can get them in Reading tomorrow. I have spent the last several days on the computer looking at stuff for the wedding and I am ready to take a little break

Clearence...

I got up around 7am. I took a shower and headed to the doctor's office by 8am. I got right in and found they had my test results. I waited for the doctor and he was only 2o minutes behind. He was happy with my test results and all my numbers were in the normal range. I did not want to see me again and said I would know the sing if the problem occurred. He said the my GI doctor would take care of the ulcer and wished me luck. So of to Labcorp to give blood to make sure my cancer doctor is also happy with the result of the Synthroid since I started take the medicine for my stomach. I should hear about that is a few days. So I headed home and had some breakfast. I started working in the backyard to get the dead winter leaves out of the flower area and prune the bushes before the new growth starts. We had lunch and I headed for my hair appointment. I was so glad to get it cut. I headed home to pick up Beth and we went to JoAnn to look at patterns for the girls dresses. We found the ones we liked and headed across the street to pick up Kyle. Her was getting an adjustment and DJ was working. I dropped Beth off at home and Kyle and I went driving, he was driving, for the next couple hours. We had a good talk and he did well driving. We came home picked up Beth and took Kyle to work. Beth and I went to dinner and then to BJ's whole sale club. Boy was a day of running it was.

Happy Easter...

Beth was up and at church by 8am. I took a shower and we had breakfast when she got home. I had to devil the eggs for dinner. Beth worked outside for a bit and then we went to Eileen's house for dinner. We had a great day with friends and family.

Egg coloring...

Rylee got me up around 7:45am. We did some stuff in the living room until Beth got up around 9am. I took a shower and make cup cakes. Rylee and I then went to the store and to CVS. We had lunch and Payton got here around 2:30pm. I frosted the cupcakes and the kids decorated them as you can see.

I ordered pizzas and they got here around 5:45pm. Everyone was here by then and we had dinner. we then colored eggs and the kids had fun.

Sleep over...

We were both up around 8am. I took a shower and headed to Wal-mart. Of all the things to forget in Florida, I forgot my contacts. I had to order a new set and then did some shopping. I was back home around 11am and we emptied the car. DJ brought Buster home around noon. We visited awhile and she left around 1:30pm. We went to see DR. Bill for adjustments and then went to the Wine store. We were back home around 3:30pm and I went to get chicken for dinner around 4:30pm. Rylee and Dawn came by for dinner around 5:45pm. It was not to see them again. Beth and Rylee went to get her stuff as we were having a sleep over as she does not have school tomorrow. Boy was it a busy day.
