Happy Easter...

Beth was up and at church by 8 am. I got up, took a shower, and baked my cake. We then left and went to Dawn and Jo's house to give Rylee her Easter basket. She had to show us how she could rife her new car. We then left and went to DJ and Maggie's house to give the boys their Easter stuff. We left their house around 1 pm and came home for some lunch. I assembled my cake, which was just OK. I called for too much marshmallow cream and we were not fond of the garnish. So we headed out around 3 pm to Jo's aunt's house. We had a great dinner around 4:30 pm and then had dessert later. It was a great day and Happy Easter to all. The weather was raining and a little cold. Not sure if they will start digging for our sewer tomorrow or not.

Nice Day,,,

Beth and Jojo were up around 8 am and I got up about 20 minutes later. They were watching Wreck-in Ralph and I made donuts for breakfast. Beth and I took showers and Jojo got dressed and got her stuff together. We took her home around 10 ish and then stopped by Jo's parents to pick up Rylee's motorized car. We had to put it together and add the sticker, but only took us about 90 minutes. We came in side and had some lunch, then did some running around. Dawn text around 8:30 pm to say Rylee was in bed, so we gave her another 30 minute and took the car up to their house. She will be so surprised to see what the Easter Bunny got her in the morning. They weather was really nice today and the sunny was shining bright. Hope tomorrow is just as nice, as we are having dine to Jo's family.

Easter Egg coloring...

I was up around 6:20 am this morning and out the door by 6:50 am. I was watching Rylee this morning, but found she was already up and mad cause I was not there when SHE got up. So we had some breakfast and watch TV for a while. Aunt Beth joined us around 10 am. My hip was still really hurting, so I took a day off from the gym. I can home took and shower, boiled 3 dozen eggs, and headed back up around 11:30 am. Beth left to take the rug to get it cleaned and got us lunch. Rylee went down for a nap around 1 pm and I finally woke her at 4:15 pm. Beth can back to the house around 2:30 pm and Kim dropped off Jojo around 3 pm. They waked up to Dawn and Jo's house just a Rylee was getting up. Then the three of them waked back to the house. We had pizza delivered around 6:15 pm and then colored eggs as DJ, Maggie, and Payton joined us. It was a great evening and fun coloring eggs.

Sewer on the way...

We found out that they will be installing our new sewer system on Monday and Tuesday of next week. So are going to be gone on Tuesday since we will not be able to use water or the septic system most of the day. We both got up around 7:30 am this morning and went to the gym. We came home and took showers and Beth left around 11 am to go to the closing on the house. I had to go to the store and get stuff doe the S'more cake I am making on Easter Sunday. I came home and finished laundry, cleaned the kitchen and dining room, and put away the clean dished. My hip has been hurting the last couple of days. Not sure if it is from riding the bike at the gym or something else, but Dr. Jill will fix it on Monday. Beth got home around 5 pm and Dawn and Rylee got here around 5:45 pm. We sloppy Joe's and fries for dinner and they were tasty.   I have to cook 3 dozen eggs for coloring tomorrow night with the kids as We are watching Rylee tomorrow during the day, Jojo is spending the night and Payton and his parents will be here after work along with Dawn and Jo. SO it is pizza and egg coloring tomorrow. What fun....

Good News...

I got up at 7:15 am this morning and was out the door and to the gym by 7:30 am. I had to scrape ice off the windshield and headed out. I was back home and in the shower by 9 am and out the door to the dentist by 9:30 am. She said my home care was great and I could start going back every 4 months. Yea. I went to the bank and came home in time for some lunch. Beth left around 2 pm to go to the gym and was back home and took a shower. We went out to dinner at Texas Road house and it was good. I have left overs for a couple days.

unexpected news

We got up around 8 am this morning. I got dressed and read some stuff on facebook. I saw a post my sister put out there about being in the hospital and have surgery in a few hours. That was it, no explanation of what.  With the 3 hour time delay, I knew it was too early to call my mom, so I went to the gym. Beth had left me a text, saying she had talked to my mom and to call her. So I called and it seem my sister was having her appendix out. Mom said she would call after surgery. And also mu step brother had showed up at their house at 3 am. He was left at a bar down the street and got into a argument and punched a wall. So while mom was at the hospital with my sister, my dad was at the hospital with my step brother. It was really not their day. So I stopped by DJ's house and visited wither her for a couple hours and came home. Beth was at the house loading up the rest of the stuff with her brother Jeff. She had to do one finally cleaning and was home by 2 pm. After dinner, we went to Target as I needed a cake plate for the S;more cake I am making for Easter dinner.  

Snow again...

We woke up around 7:45 am this morning and there was snow on the ground and it was still coming down hard. I got dressed and left for the gym around 8:15 am. The roads were no bad, but really slushy. I went to the store after the gym and was back home around 10:30 am. I had breakfast and played on the computer for a while. We had some lunch and Beth went to the store for me. I made chicken salad for dinner and it was really good, but wished I had planned something hot instead. The snow finally stopped and it changed to a lit mist afterwards. The snow should be all gone by tomorrow as it will be 45 degrees. Jeff is getting a truck to move all the rest of the stuff from the house tomorrow and Beth will do a final cleaning.

Car show and more moving....

Beth was up and at church by 8 am. I got up and took a shower and we had breakfast when she got home. We left around 10 am and went to the car show. Oh such nice looking cars and truck they have. Beth car placed in the top 75 again this year. We left there and went to load up a bunch more stuff at the house. We came home and threw most of it away. Should only have to go up one more time and clean. We came home and had dinner and are ready to start the new week. It will be an interesting week as Beth has settlement on Thursday, we hope to have some landscape plans, and Easter is Sunday.

Busy day...

We got up around 8 am this morning  We took showers and had breakfast. The first landscaping guy was her around 10 am. We talked over what to do with the front yard and the back yard. He had lots of great ideas and he was here about an hour and a half. We had some lunch and the second guy was here around 1 pm. We talked over things with him and he took pictures and both will get back to us in a few day, It appears they can not do much until the deck is put in and the walkway are done. But at least we will have a plan by then. We then left and went to Beth;s parents house. We loaded up the couch and a few other things. We can home and Beth stopped and got lottery tickets on the way home. We need to win the lottery with all the stuff we are doing around here. We are now off the Dawn and Jo's to watch Rylee as they have a Beef and Beer to go to. It will we nice to spend some time with her, since she was gone all last week.

More moving...

We were both up and gone by 8 am this morning. I went to the gym and Beth went to the doctor. She stopped by her parents house on the way home to get a load of stuff. we had lunch when she got home and then the deck guy came by around 3 pm. We talked over all of our question and got colors picked. He is going to write a new proposal and we will then sign it and we are on the list. They think they can start around July 1 and have it done in 3 weeks. We did find 2 landscapers and both are coming tomorrow to give us some thoughts. After dinner, we went back up to the house to get more stuff and will make another trip tomorrow afternoon. Boy will it be a busy week next week.

Dinner plans...

I was up and out the door by 8 am this morning  It had snowed over night, but not much. I had to wait for the heater to melt some of the ice on the windshield. I was back home by 9:30 am and Gayle came to pick up the car around 10 am. It is in a car show down in Oaks. Beth left and went to the gym around 11 am. I took a shower and went to the store. We had smoothies for lunch and they were really good and filling. I spent the rest of the afternoon logging in all the Swarvoski crystals we have from Beth's mom. Beth had to take Buster to the vet as he had blood coming out of his wee wee. The vet she could not find any in his pee and gave him some cream to put on it as it might be a cut or something and some antibiotics. I put a chicken on the set it and forget it for dinner. Bethany came over and had dinner with us since Dawn and Rylee were on vacation. We had a great time and good conversation.

Staking out the deck....

I got up around 7:45 am and headed to the gym. I was back home around 9:30 am and we had breakfast. we talked about the deck a bit and then went outside to stake it out. We did a pretty good job and at lest know what it will look like. We have some questions and changes we want to made and will meet again on Friday to go over them. I made a call to see about getting a landscape estimate, but I am waiting for a call back. We had lunch and Beth left to go to 2 different bank and them to the gym. We had steak for dinner and afterwards, we went to look at chairs, rugs, and got the material for the couch. So it was a pretty productive day.

Deck plans....

I got up around 7:45 am this morning and headed to the gym by 8 am. I did 25 minutes on the bike and felt really good. I stopped by target and them came home. After lunch, Beth went to get her hair cut. We got the plans and estimate for the deck and spend a while outside waling over the plans and have some more question for the guy. He is coming back Friday, so hopefully we can get everything ironed out and see when they can start. We need to get a landscaper over and look at what we can do to improve that area. We had chicken on the grill and salad for dinner. Can't wait for spring to get here so we can grill out more.

Snow again...

We got up around 7:45 am this morning. We got dressed and headed to see Dr. Bill. Moving all the furniture got to us. We then went to the gym and finally back home. We took showers and had some lunch. we then went to Lowe'r to look at outdoor fans and patio furniture, but did not find anything we liked. We came home and it began to sheet and then snow really hard. Everything is covered in snow, so we will see how long it lasts.

Moving day 2...

We got up a little late this morning. We took showers and had breakfast, Beth was off to 10:30 am mass and I went to the store. We came home and had some lunch and headed out. We stopped at Wal-mart and then on to the house. Mark and Evon got there at 2 pm. We load their car and we only had the 2 end tables and the coffee table to load and take back with us. They ended up purchasing the 2 blue chair and the coffee table. So we have only 3 big items left and a bunch of little stuff. The Realtor lady came by a little after 3 pm and they loaded their stuff. We stopped at Mark and Evon's house and then made it home by 5 pm. It was a long cold day, but 90% of the stuff is gone.

SNOW again....

We got up around 8 am this morning. We took showers, loaded the moving blankets  and had a quick breakfast. We headed up to the house and Mark and Evon were going to be there around 11 am and they were. The snow was just starting to fall as we took the bed apart. By the time we got the first piece loading it was snowing hard. We got my truck loaded and covered and they finished filling the other to vehicles. The snow was really coming down and was only sticking to the grass and the roads were clear. Exon also purchased the 2 end tables and 2 lamp and may wan the coffee table tomorrow. Which is good for us. We came home around 12:30 pm and the new neighbors were out , so we all went over to say Hello. The are a young couple with no kids and they have a 5 bedroom house. That makes Beth and I the oldest people on our street. We finally got everything unloaded around 1:30. We were freezing, cold, and wet. They still have one more load and will get tomorrow and Joan will be there at 3 pm to get her stuff. Busy day again tomorrow. At least there will be no snow.

deck plans...

We got up around 7 am this morning. we took showers and had breakfast before the guy got here at 9 am. Both of the guys were Mennonite and and we felt comfortable with them. We went over everything we wanted for the deck and he made several suggestion on things were had not thought of. He took several measurements and then we came inside. We talk about things and he left color samples of the decking so we could decide on that. He gave us a ballpark estimate and we were both on the same page. It will take him a week or so to get the final drawings and estimate, but we are all excited about the start of the process. We left and went to the Sugarloaf craft show in oaks. They had some really nice stuff, but we only got some soup mixes, cheese, and some football prints. We stopped and had some lunch and was home around 2:30 pm. We spent the rest of the afternoon looking over stuff for the deck and then had soup and grilled cheese for dinner. Tomorrow is moving stuff for Mark and Evon if it is not raining and snowing.

Big stuff gone...

I got up around 8 am this morning. I left around 9 am to go to the gym. On the way home I stopped at Best Buy, Target, and Bed Bath and Beyond. I got home around 11 am. Beth left to go do her work out and we had lunch when she go home. She took Mark and Evon up to her mom and dad's place and they are going to buy the bedroom set. Yea us. They are also going to buy our couch. Another good deal for us. I think it is all moving on Saturday. So we only have a few little thing left to move at the house.

Deck prelim

I did not sleep well last night and got up around 8 am. Beth got up around a half hour later. We talked about what we wanted in the deck and a few other things. We walked outside to measure out the deck and made a drawing. The guy is coming Friday morning and we need to know what we are looking for. I went to the gym around 11:15 am and was back home for lunch. Beth then left and went to do her work out and then went to her parent's house and was back home around 5 pm. I put a roast on and we went up to Dawn and Jo's for dinner. We helped keep Rylee entertained while they packed for they vacation. It was a nice day today with sun and high temps, well high for us this time of the year.

Another day of moving...

We got up around 8 am this morning. Beth had to give blood at 9 am and then we went to the gym. Today is the first day of free agency in the NFL, so I listened to Mike and Mike during my work out. We then headed to the house to move the stuff upstairs that was ours to the garage. We came home around 1 pm and had some lunch. It had been raining hard all day long and we had about 2 inches. It finally stopped around 3 pm and I went to the store. The had roasts on sale for bogo free which is a really good deal. I fixed dinner and not it is time for bed. I talked to my mom and my dad is doing much better which is a very good thing.

Sofa covering...

I got up around 7:30 am this morning and went to the gym. It was not as hard as I thought being off 2 days and getting back to the routine. I came home around 9:30 am and had some breakfast. I took a shower and did some research on deck people. We have someone coming out Friday to give us an estimate on a new deck. Beth made a bunch of calls to get everything turned off at the house on the 29th. Beth went back to the dentist to get her tooth looked at. They ground down some of the temp filling and it is feeling better. After dinner, we went and looked at sofa material to get the sofa recovered. We got several samples for JoAnn and found one we really liked at the Singer store. So we will check the sample out and see what we feel is a good match.

First of many...

We did not get up until 10:30 am this morning  I hate daylight saving time. We had a breakfast bar and took showers. We headed to Beth's parent's house. This will be the first on many trips. We loaded up some stuff and came home around 3 pm. We had some lunch and Beth went to church at 6 pm. It was a really nice day today, but cold weather is on the way.

Game night...

I got up around 7:15 am this morning and Beth was up around 8 am. I started laundry and took a shower. Beth worked outside as it was kind a nice day out. It was warm in the sun, but cold in the shade. We went up to Dawn and Jo's house for pizza and game night. They had invited Julie and Bethany come also. It was a great night and we had alot of fun. We have to remember to set the clocks up an hour, which now means I will be 3 hours ahead of mom. My dad get to come home tomorrow from the hospital and is looking forward to that.

Evening with Rylee...

We got up at 7 am this morning and headed to the gym before 8 am. We did our cardio and lifting and were done by 9 am. We came home and took showers. I called my mom to see how my dad was doing since they admitted him to the hospital. She said he was doing better and might get to come home on Sunday. He had the start of phenomena, but they caught it in time. We left and went to BJ's and then on the to movies to see Oz the great and powerful. It was pretty good and would buy it when it came out in the 3-d version. We then came home. We were suppose to pick up Rylee from school, but she had a ear infection and was home. So we when up to Dawn and Jo's around 5 pm. Rylee was feeling much better and we went out to dinner and back to their house. We played, had a bath, read 2 stories, and was in bed by 9 pm. Dawn and Jo got home around 10:30 pm. It was another cold and windy day and I so can't wait for spring.

No snow..

We got up around 8 am this morning. we had no snow on the ground and it had hardly rained. I got dressed and headed to the gym. I was back home around 9:45 am and had breakfast. Beth got dressed and she headed to the gym around noon. We had lunch when she got back. She went to Lowe's to get a few things including a new machine for the bathroom spray. Those things are great but only last about a year. Dawn and Rylee got here around 5:45 pm and I started dinner. We had ham cups and fried potatoes. It was a new recipe in which you take slice ham and spread it in the bottom of a muffin tin. It will stick up on the side, but that is fine. You then add a little slice of bread and pour egg beaters over the top. Then add cheese and bake. They were really good and tasty. Rylee asked me to take her home around 7:45 pm and Dawn and Beth followed. I am not ready for bed as we are going to see The Great and Powerful Oz tomorrow.

Sale is final...

We got up at 6:15 am this morning and headed out the door by 6:50 am. We had to be at Beth's parents house by 7:30 am as the guy was coming to check the heat pump. He was right there at 7:30 am and began his work. I took all the pictures off the wall and gathered up all the nick knacks and set them in the kitchen  Beth did a final survey of all the furniture and did a quick vacuumed. We found the fire place only needed new batteries and was working fine. The guy finished up around 9 am and we headed to the gym. The sale on the house is all by final and they will close on March 28, so we have 3 weeks to get everything out. After the gym, we came home and took showers. We stopped by Jeff's house and then on to Ikea. Beth was looking for a new top for her desk and I got some more Swedish meatballs. It was rainy, cold, and windy all day lone. We might get snow but it will not be much if we do. I am so looking forward to the high 50's coming the weekend.

great day at the gym...

We got up around 7:30 am this morning. We had breakfast, showers, and headed to Beth's parent's house. We wanted to see all that was up there that would need to be moved out with a sale pending. We came home around 10:30 am. It is so different getting up at 7 or 7:30 in the morning. We had some lunch and went to the gym at 2 pm. Beth had a meeting and I did my work out. I tried a different bike and was able to do a full 20 minutes with out my knee hurting. I did the leg weights and finished up around 3 pm. Beth was going over some machine and was done about 5 minutes later. We stopped at Bed Bath and Beyond and then to GNC. We got some whey for some smoothies and see how it works. We came home and I fixed beef and cabbage for dinner and it was really tasty. I watched Breaking Dawn part 2 and Beth is cleaning the work work downstairs. We got the new switch plates for downstairs and they look great. Now were are looking for a new rug.

Gym day...

I got up around 6:45 am. I headed out the door to the gym around 7 am. I was only able to do 15 minutes on the bike as my knee started to hurt. I did all the machines for the arm and back part and headed home around 8:15 am. I felt good for my first day. I picked up Beth and we went to see Dr. Bill. After that, we came home and I got a shower. Beth had to leave for her dentist appointment around 11 am. She was back home around 1 pm and her jaw was sore. I left for my hair appointment around 1:40 pm and was back in about an hour and a half. After dinner, we stopped by Dawn and Jo's house to drop off the chalk and eraser we got for Rylee. It was really cold out today and the wind was blowing. I like getting up at 7 am, but I am so ready for bed now. Guess it will take some getting used to.

Not much today..

Beth was up and at church by 8 am. I got and took a shower before she got home. We had breakfast and read the paper. we then left and went to Staples, GNC, and then over to Maggie and DJ's house. We had to pick up our shampooer to clean the downstairs rug. I put a chicken in the set it and forget and it turned out really good. Not much else for a Sunday.

Panama book done...

We got up around 8:30 am this morning. We had breakfast and took showers. I went downstairs to work on finishing the Panama book and Beth had alot of programs to install on her computer. We had lunch and it was back to work of each of us. I finished up around 3:45 pm and came upstairs. We headed to Dawn and Jo's house around 4:30 pm. Beth helped Dawn and Julie, a friend of everyone, put together some shelving unit they got. Jo was fixing dinner and I was keeping Rylee busy and out of the way. The finished the shelves and we had dinner of meatloaf and it was really good. We spent time visiting the rest of the evening and came home around 10 pm. It was a good time.

The beginning...

I had good intentions of getting up early , but that did not work. We both slept until 8 am and then had some breakfast. We both did our weight in and then took showers. Gayle came by around 9 am to hang out for a while. Her dog was at the groomers and she did not want to drive all the way back home to turn around and come back. I had to go to the store and mailed a package to my mom. When I came back, Gayle went to pick up her dog and brought him over for a visit. Buster was very protective of Beth and since Bubba is only a year, he wanted to play and Buster wanted no part of it. I finished the laundry and we had some lunch. The cable guy came around 1 pm. He was able to fix the computer speed and gave me a new box for my TV downstairs. After he left, we went to look at new lawn movers. Beth is selling hers to DJ and wants one we can hook a push blade on to remove the snow that way. I fixed raspberry soup and open faced grilled cheese and tomato sandwiches for dinner. They were both really good and we took some soup up for Rylee.
