Meet Rylee

I was up at 7:15pm to get my cardio in before we left to go see Dr. Bill. We both were in need of adjustments and have to go back next Monday again instead of our usual 2 weeks. We then headed to the Reading Hospital. Today we got to meet Rylee. She is a cutie and even more so in person. There is a concern with her losing weight since she was only 5 lb 11 oz. to start with. I got to feed her at her 12:30 feeding today and she did really well. Beth and Dawn were a site changing her. She did have one big spit up, but hopefully she did better later today. We then went to lunch at Hooter's. After lunch, we took Dawn to do some of her errands. Beth dropped my off at home around 4pm, so I could do a few thing and she took Dawn home. They were heading back to the hospital around 6pm and had to have a car seat test done one hour after Rylee ate dinner. Rylee has to sit in the car seat for an hour. Not sure what that is for and never heard of it, but seems it has to do with her being so small. We are hoping to hear the results tonight. She gets to come home tomorrow around 10am as long as she is above weight. We are all hoping for the best. Today's picture is of me feeding Rylee. It was alot of fun.

Big Suprise...

About 10pm last night we got a call from Dawn telling us that they had a new baby girl. Boy was it a big surprise as she was 2 weeks early and her name is Rylee Rhodes-Santini. She was born at 8:44pm, was 18 1/2 inch long and weighted 5lb. 11 oz. And they said that they would not be able to go with us to the football game on Sunday as they had to go meet their new daughter. What an excuse. So as Beth headed to church , I called to see if we could find anyone at last minute to go to the game. Beth also tried when she got home, but we had no luck. So off to the game we went. The Eagles played a very good game and finally won. We left in the middle of the third quarter. We have so much to do at home to get ready for Christmas. Dawn did send us pictures during the game of Rylee. She is truly a cutie. We order pizza for dinner and afterwards began working on decorating the inside of the house. I think we finish most of the upstairs and made really good progress. We are going to see Rylee tomorrow and take Dawn home from the hospital. Rylee may get to come home late tomorrow or early Tuesday. Welcome to our clan Rylee and we love you.

Outside decorations

We went to bed early last night, so of course I was up at 7am. Beth was able to sleep about an hour more and then got up. We had breakfast and headed to Staples. Beth needs a new office chair and wanted to look at what they had. After sitting in almost all of them, she found the one she wanted and ask the guy to get it for her. And of course, they were out of stock on it. No store in the area had one. Just her luck. He said the Allentown showed 2 in stock. We came home and Beth called the store. They had one so, she had them put it on hold for her. And of course, they called back and said sorry they did not have any. What a pain in the butt that was just trying to find a chair. So we skipped looking for them today and headed outside to finish the outside decorations. It was very windy and that is not good when you are trying to anchor the blow up snowman. We took a break around 2pm and had some lunch. I watched a little football and Beth was on the computer for a couple of hours. We then went back outside to finish the hookup of all the extension cords. Things look good and all come on at dusk. Now we have to work on the inside decorations. This is going to be a busy week, as we think the guy is coming to remodel the guest room on Thursday. We also have to help Dawn get the baby's room ready as it is no where near ready. Tomorrow the Eagles play at home so, so we will head down to the game about 10:30am. We are meeting Dawn and Jo as they are going with us. The Eagles play the Redskins and Jo is a fan of them. Today's picture is of our yard at night, grape vine deer, ice cube snowman and an inflatable 7' snowman. The orange dots are our lights on the hous.

Black Friday Shopping..

We got up at 5:45am this morning, took showers and were out the door by 7am. We headed to Exton to do some Black Friday shopping. We were really not looking for anything, but did have a couple of coupons. We really did not hit any big lines in checking out and did manage to find a few things on our Christmas list for others. We headed home around noon and had lunch. Both us were starving since we skipped breakfast for shopping. We spent the rest of the afternoon watching TV and resting. The day seems to drag when you get up early. We were both tired of turkey so I fixed round steak in mushroom gravy for dinner. We are watching college football and getting ready for the hot tub and bed. We are hoping to get the rest of the Christmas decoration out in the yard tomorrow and the tubs put back in the attic. We might even get the tree up tomorrow night. (I don't think so ... )

Happy Thanksgiving...

I was up at 7:15am this morning getting the turkey ready for the oven at 8am. Beth went out and got donuts and a paper. She was going to Boscov, as they were giving out gift card for various items. Well after looking at the lines, she made a u turn and came home. She is not one to wait in a long line. I had to make deviled eggs, apple salad, and get the sweet potatoes cooking. Beth wanted to have dinner around noon, so that was my time frame. The turkey took 3 1/2 hours of cooking and I was able to get the stuffing, sweet potato casserole, and rolls in the oven. I had everything on the table and ready to eat at 12:05pm. Good timing on my part I must say. Everything was great and we watched 2 of the 3 football games on TV. Neither one was really much of a contest. Beth's mom and dad stopped by for dessert, but ended up taking theirs home as they were both stuffed from their dinner. Michael's was open today and I had a coupon for 30% off everything, so off I went. Did not really see much, but shopping with a coupon is always good. We are going to bed early as tomorrow is Black Friday shopping. Beth is dragging her feet, but can be bribed into going with a treat of lunch out. Today's picture is of our thanksgiving feast. We are so thankful for our family and friends.

Big Suprise Day..

Today started out kinda slow and uneventful. I started laundry and Beth went to return some items and returned home around lunch time. Dawn came over about 2pm to pick up her screen door and to tell us the her and Jo had been chosen to adopt a baby. We were so thrilled and happy for them. They did not not have much information only that the baby is due Dec. 14 and they don't know the sex. From that point on it was all baby talk and how we have to get the room at their house turned from a catch all room to a baby's room in less than 2 weeks. Jo stopped by around 4pm for a quick chat. They were having dinner with Jo's parents tonight and we talked about how to tell them the news. Buster had a grooming appointment at 6:30 pm and needed it. I know he is a dog, but do you have to smell like one! Beth is baking pies for dinner tomorrow. An apple crumb and a cherry crumb. I have to be up at 7:15am tomorrow to get the turkey on by 8am. We are hoping to eat between noon and 12:30pm and then watch football the rest of the day. Today's picture are of the proud parents to be. We are so happy for you two.

Long Sore Day...

Today started out like most Tuesdays. I did my cardio, then headed to the gym for my workout with Marti. Today seems a little harder than any of the other days, but I was able to get through it. When I got home, I fixed breakfast and we all headed to the garage. We pulled the tubs of Christmas stuff down from the attic. Kyle was a big help since I did not have to climb on my hands and knees to the back and pull each tub out. We then started to work on the decorations for the holly tree. We cut 10 foot strands of chain and attached 6 large ornaments to each one. We then were able to get 6 of them on to the holly tree before Dawn came over. It looks really cool and will finish the other strands tomorrow. Kyle assembled the snowman countdown sign for the yard. Only 31 more days til Christmas. We will finish setting out the rest of the decorations on Friday or Saturday. Dawn came over to help Beth finish putting together her backdoor screen. She wanted to attach plexiglas to each side on the bottom to stop the dog from running through it. The first set of plexiglas panels Beth and Dawn got were too narrow and we could not use it. So Dawn and I went to Lowe's to get 2 more bigger pieces and some binder screws to attach them. As we were leaving Lynne came over to get some stuff out of the attic she stored up there. Dawn and I began working on the screen project. I began drilling the holes in the Plexiglas. What a pain that was. You have to start out small and build up to the size you want in order to not split the plexiglas. I was doing great until the first hole of the size we needed and CRACK. Well that was not good, but we continued on. No more major cracks, but a few spider cracks. So we went to set the plexiglas on the metal screen frame and the holes were not correct. They were to close to the screen and about 4 would have to be re drilled. So we came to a stop to see if we could do something else to save it. Beth and I took Kyle home and then went to Lowe's. Dawn headed home again without a screen. We promised we would have it done by tomorrow. We looked at Lowe's and everything we found was going to cost just as much as buying new sheets of plexiglas, so we got the 3rd set of plexiglas panels. We came home and I practiced on the cracked ones, and Beth did her cardio. I was able to figure out how to drill the hole without cracking the plexigass. So off to the new ones I went and completed them all without any cracks. We attached it to the frame and it really looks nice. However, it is missing 1 binder screw that went home with Dawn, so she will have to finish it. Even though we had to buy a new set, it was great experience on working with plexiglas. So now my back, knees, and feet are very sore and I can't wait to get to the hot tub for a really good soak. We have another busy day tomorrow. This is the holly tree we are decorating, we can only get about half way up and will post a picture of it when we are done.

Rainy Monday...

Thank god for an Eagles win last night. I don't think could have taken 3 loses in the same day. And of course we had to watch it until the end to make sure they won, so we slept in this morning. I got up and went downstairs to do the arc trainer. After breakfast, we went off to do the errands we had to do then to the grocery store. We were home around noon. Beth's brother called and needed to come by to get the hotdog griller we borrowed from him. I was able to get all the books back on the shelves in the office. Does not seem like we got rid of much, but we did. It looked like it was going to rain all day and finally did. I had a hair appointment at 4:30pm for my cut and color. I then headed to pick up Kyle. We were supposed to go to the movies, but he managed to get himself grounded. We headed to the store. Beth wanted a whole turkey for thanksgiving, which is what I thought we had in the freezer, but it was only the breast. So kyle and I went to the store a pickup one up. We are going to move all the Christmas stuff down from the attic tomorrow. Sure am glad I have Kyle to help me with it. I am hoping the rain stopped so I can get in the hot tub tonight. I would love to be sitting on today's picture's beach with the sun shining so bright and warm.

Not a good day for Beth...

Another football Sunday it was. I slept in while Beth went to church. We had breakfast and read the morning paper. Not much in the ads, so no need to rush out for any pre-thanksgiving day bargains. We headed back to the office and decided to go through the books on the bookcase. We had 3 piles, those to get rid of, those to keep, and those for the recycle pile. We did very well in getting rid of more than we kept. We will take then down to the second hand bookstore and see what we can get for them. Something is better than nothing. Jo dropped Dawn off about 12:30pm. Jo had a baby christening to go to and would be back by after it was over. We are now addicted to watching the red zone for all the football games. It is a great channel. DJ and kyle came over around 1pm, while Maggie and Payton showing up about an hour later. Beth had taken the KC Chiefs to lose in the loser pool today. And it seemed like a good bet, except they forgot to tell the chiefs they were to lose. They ended up beating the Steelers and Beth was knocked out of the pool. She was one of 21 people left out of 145. I am proud of her making it that far, but I got in trouble for rooting for the chiefs. I still bleed chiefs red at times. Everyone left around 6pm and we are now watching the Eagles game. And to make things even worse for Beth, she lost in Fantasy Football and the Eagles don't look so good tonight either. Today's picture is of the eagles players that were on the cruise we took earlier this year. We can't wait for the Eagles cruise next year in the Bahamas.

Great Movie...

Kyle came over around 9am this morning. We began working on the floors and finished around 1pm. He did a good job and it saves Beth from having to do them. Today was my day to move my stuff around in the office. I put my desk in front of the window and my printer tower next to Beth's. I was able to get most of the items back up and working. We did have to buy a new printer cable for my color printer, as the other one was too short. We both like the new set up. I am hoping to go through all the books next week and weed them down to a reasonable amount. We still have a lot of odds and ends to go through and finish putting away. Buster is happy the moving part is done in the office and his bed is in the same place. We left to go to the movies around 3:30pm. Since Blindside just came out yesterday, I thought it might be packed today. And sure enough it was. Jo and I were able to get seats in a great row and waited for the other to make their way from the concession stand. The movie was great and I would suggest you go and see it. We will be buying the DVD when it comes out. Dawn, Jo, Beth and myself all went out to dinner after the movie. DJ and Maggie had to get back to pickup Payton from the sitters. We tried to get into Max and Erma's, but they said it would be a 30 minute wait and judging by the people waiting it was going to be longer than that. So we walked across the street to an Italian place. Food was alright, but not sure I would have to eat there again. We stopped by Best buy on the way home to get the cable and are now relaxing. We are down to 48 days until we return to Walt Disney World, so today's picture is a side view of Cinderella's Castle in the Magic Kingdom.

Office cleaning...

Beth had a funeral this morning for a family friend. I on the other had took the opportunity to do nothing. I took my time getting a shower and having breakfast. It was great. My legs were a little sore from yesterday's workout, so it felt good doing nothing. Beth can home around noon and had lunch, then began working on the office. Her goal was to move her desk to another side of the room and move the printer tower where her desk was. My job was to stay out of the way and I think I did a good job. I did manage to pull all the weeds in the bird area this afternoon. With the rain last night, they were easy to pull. Beth's area of the office is about 80% done. I will have a chance to do my part tomorrow or Monday. Kyle will be coming over to do the floors and earn money for his black Friday shopping. Then later around 4pm a bunch of us are going to the movies to see Blindside and maybe out to dinner. Today's picture is of the fall trees by the river.

Gym Time..

I was up at 7:15am and downstairs on the arc trainer at 7:30am. I meet Marti at 8:30am for our 1/2 hour work out. My arm were still a little sore, but after out first workout of them they felt better. I went thought all my cookbooks yesterday and got rid of on 2 bags full, so I dropped them off at the recycle dump on my way home. We had breakfast and spent the rest of the afternoon not doing much of anything. Beth had a hair appointment at 3pm and then picked up the dry cleaning on her way home. We are starting on rearranging the office tomorrow, hoping to organize it a little better. Only one of us can be in the office at a time moving things, so Beth is going first. We have a great need for her to get the printers up and working. We are getting ready to watch Thursday night football and it should be a good game tonight. Can you spot the red cardinal in the holly tree in today's picture?

So Sore...

I worked out with Marti yesterday and boy can I feel it today. Both my arms and my legs are really sore. It was a good thing I had today off for everything. I spent most of the the day doing laundry. Beth's mom came over for a visit and then we went to Boscov's for shopping. DJ had given us a coupon last night when we were over there for 15% off. Beth cut the grass again this afternoon. She is really hoping this is the last time this year, but we will see. Not much on TV tonight, so we are both playing on POGO. Back to the gym tomorrow. I hope I can raise my arm by then. Today's picture is of the neighbor's pear tree. I was surprised it still had it leaves and they were so colorful.

Just Another Monday...

I got up early and went downstairs to do my cardio before we left to go see Dr. Bill. After our adjustments, we went to CVS to pick up my prescription then to Lowe's to pick up some shower cleaner. We started to move things out of the guest room as the guy was to be here Thursday to start the remodel. Then he called and said that he can not make it this week, but should be here the following week. Beth had to pick up Jojo from school at noon. We had lunch and they went outside to play for awhile. It was a nice day out today. They came in around 1:30pm and both headed to the bedroom for what I thought was going to be nap time. They were watching Sleeping Beauty, but after about a hour it was shut off for nap time. Beth came out about 10 minutes later, but Jojo never did go to sleep. About 4pm we had her get up and Beth made hot chocolate. Kim came by around 5:45 to pick up Jojo. We had a great time with her today. Beth had to go to her mom's to drop off the new computer and show her how to use the wireless card when she goes to Florida. Today's pitcure is of Jojo playing in the tree.

The Twins are 3...

We both slept in late this morning and Beth went to 10:30am mass. We then left and went to Lehighton as today was the birthday party for the twins. We stopped and had lunch at Long John Silvers. We both love the chicken planks. We unloaded the wood we brought up and the party began around 3pm. The kids played games and then opened their presents. Aiden did not really seem interested in opening his presents in front of everyone and preferred to do it outside. Zach on the other had loved ripping into the paper. We then sang Happy Birthday and had cake. It was great seeing the boys and sharing the day with them. We made it home to watch the Eagles lose. Oh well, better luck next week. Today's pictures are of the twin at their party.

Saturday's Changes

Today was a day of changes for us, not big changes but changes non the less. For a change I got ready first today and went to the store for milk and left Jeanette have a few more minutes in bed. Jeanette ran some errands after breakfast, that doesn't change. Before we had lunch we changed the downstairs patio's mouse's life. We loaded all of the firewood for the fire pit into the back of the pickup to take to the twin's house in the Poconos, their house burns wood for heat. The little mouse had his home in the wood stack, I guess he is homeless now. Not my concern unless he finds his way into my house! Then we changed the downstairs by selling 2 of our arcade games, Mr & Mrs PacMan pinball and the cocktail table Donkey Kong. We still have a slot machine and Frogger. We now have plenty of room for our Christmas tree and in the back basement we can finally use the utility tub again. Jeanette grilled T-bones for dinner and they were really good. We are saving the bone for Buster, he will get it when we go to the hot tub tonight. Today's picture is not of our house mouse, but appropriate!

Is it Friday Yet?

You always hear people saying " Is it Friday Yet?', but it kinda loses it meaning when you are retired. Just a thought. I was up at 8am and downstairs on the arc trainer at 8:30am for the morning workout. I was a little sore from yesterday's gym workout, but think it will get better as the weeks progress. We left the house a little after 10am for a few errands we had to do. We were back home by 1pm and had left over pizza for lunch. Spent the rest of the afternoon doing nothing. Beth made a few phone calls and we might have a guy come over tomorrow to look at a couple of the pinball machines we have. We would love to get rid of them as we have no room for them anymore. No picture today, hard to post a picture when we really did nothing of interest.

Back to the Gym..

I had to get up early this morning to get my cardio in before going to the gym. I left around 8:15 and Beth had a doctor's appointment in Allentown at 10:15. I am working out with Marti on Tuesday and Thursday for 1/2 hour sessions for the next 7 weeks. I am hopping my foot will hold up to it. It was not bad today afterwards, but some of the exercises were a little sore on it. I came home and started laundry. I then went and cleaned up the garage, so Beth could start parking back in there. I hate getting into a cold car and the weather is heading that direction. Beth stopped by to have lunch with Dawn and then headed home. Kim brought Jojo over about 5:15 pm as she had parent/teacher conference. We all then had pizza for dinner. Tonight is the start of Thursday night football and we are glad. Most of the leaves have fallen off the trees, but I love looking out and seeing all the different colors of the leaves.

Playing with Payton...

We met DJ and Maggie for breakfast at the local cafe. They both had today off as it was Veteran's Day. After breakfast we took Payton and they went shopping. Kyle had school, too bad for him. We headed to Exton and first went to Barnes and Noble. I looked at magazines and Beth and Payton went to the children's books. Payton found a dragon he was in love with, so we had to get it for him. Spoiling grandparents we are. Next we went to Sam's club. We then headed home. Payton fell asleep in the car. We stopped and got dog food on the way home as Buster was out. As soon as we pulled into the driveway, Payton was awake. We unloaded the car and had some lunch. Payton's eyes were heavy, so Beth and him went to take a nap. Beth said it took about an hour for him to go back to sleep. Her tried everything he could to keep awake, but finally gave up. Maggie came by around 4pm to pick him up. We had a great day and look forward to many more with him. Another fall photo.

Nothing to say

There really is no blog for today because neither one of us felt like writing one, but we decided it was best to tell you that there is no blog and nothing is wrong, just didn't feel like it today.

Christmas lights are up..

We did not go to bed until late last night as we were watching the Eagles lose to the Cowboys. Since it was a nice day and was still warm, we decided to get the Christmas lights up. I pulled the big ladder out and climbed on the roof to see how many nails were in the gutters. To our surprise there were only a few. I think the hard rains we had washed the gutters clean. So we started hanging the lights with the new gutter hooks. It was very easy to do. We did run out of hooks and had to go to Lowe's to get more. Of course you had to buy 50 and we only needed 17 of them, so I guess we have extras when we need them. So glad that job is done. We always seem to wait to long and end up doing it in the cold weather. Today's pictures are of the Ginger Bread House at the Grand Floridian Resort in Walt Disney World. They sell candy and cookies from inside of the house. It is amazing to see in person.

Red Zone Sunday...

We really did nothing today. Beth went to church and stopped by WAWA on her way home for milk and a paper. We did run to Lowe's, we were able to get 2 new lamps for the living room. But because today was football Sunday, she will put them together tomorrow. We had decided to watch the Red Zone instead of the games being broadcast on the regular channels. The Red Zone shows all the teams that are getting read to score, so you see all the action and get to see all the teams. No commercials, Just football and boy does the 6 hours go by fast. Dawn and Jo came by and watch football most of the afternoon with us. It was a great time. We are now watching the Eagles vs Cowboys game. Eagles need to step it up and win to take first place in the division. Today's picture is of our pumpkin chicks and our squash bunny.

Alaska Reunion..

We were up early this morning. We had to be at the Hallmark store in the mall between 9 and 10am to pick up our free gifts. Of course we had to look at all the Christmas ornaments. The new item this year are row houses that light up and play tunes. They are so cute. As we were leaving we saw the Sweet Streets truck set up outside. For those of you who don't know what that is, it is an organization that donates part of their procedures from selling sweet treats to the Rely for Life. We got a carrot cake from them early this year and it was great. This time we got a cheese cake and a Carmel Apple tart. They are frozen and keep for awhile. We then headed to the outlet mall. They had a new Corella store open up there. We need a new set of dishes. Because of the arthritis in my hands, I tend to hit the plates on the edge of the counter and break them. We are down to only 6 plates left. We found one pattern we liked, so we purchase a couple of plates to see if we still liked them when we got home. We headed home and had some lunch. We were meeting our friends that we took the Alaskan cruise with in Allentown for dinner. There 20 of the 22 people that made it and we had a great time. Today's picture is of a bear we saw in Denali National Park digging for roots and stuff to eat in a river bed. We were not that close, I had a 300mm lens and I used the computer to zoom in further.

Running around day.

Beth started cutting the front yard this morning. It was really long and still wet, so she had to take her time. She finished right as the water softener guy arrived. It did not take him long to check things out and add what he needed to. We had a late lunch and then it was time to run around and do a lot of errands. We had to go to CVS to pick up both of our prescriptions, then to the bank, and off to get gas. The station we usually use was closed for some reason, so we headed done the road to our emergency station. Luckily the price for diesel was the same. We then headed to the pool store. They also carry Christmas stuff and it was customer appreciation day so everything was 20% off. Beth had to get some jet values for the hot tub which allowed me to look at the Christmas. Only found a couple of things, but the cookies they had were great. Then it was on to Super Wally world. We had to get the twins birthday presents since next weekend is their 3rd birthday party. And then we finished our journey with a trip to Bed Bath and Beyond. We finally made our way back home around 5pm. I began fixing dinner which consisted of brisket, cole slaw, potatoe salad and corn on the cob. Only thing missing was the corn bread, but we were out of milk. Today's picture is another one of Kyle at his game last night.

Feeling Better...

I went to bed last night at 8:30pm and got up at 7am this morning. The headache was gone but I was still feeling really tired, so hopefully things will be back to normal the next couple of days. Beth was able to get the back yard cut and will work on the front tomorrow. Kyle had his maroon and white game tonight. The 8th graders played first and that game ended in a tie. The 7th graders played next, which is Kyle's grade. It was a very cold evening and the wind was really blowing. They played 10 minute quarters. Kyle was able to play a lot on both offence and defense since it was only 7th grade and all from his school. In the middle of the 3rd quarter a kid either broke is leg or dislocated his knee cap, we are not sure what really happened. The game was called and we were able to leave. It was so cold. Kyle did really good and I was so proud of him. Today's picture is of Kyle in his game tonight.

Another sick day..

Last night was not a good night. I woke up about 4:30am and was freezing. Beth felt my forehead and I was running a fever. She gave me some Advil and a blanket and back to sleep I went. Sill was not feeling great when I got up at 9am. I have a headache from hell and nothing seems to get rid of it. I took a shower and laid back down. Beth mom's came over for a visit and she was not feel well either. I was able to get the last load of laundry done. Beth went to pick up Jojo from school at 1pm. She was here for about a couple of hours and Kim came by to pick her up. We had a quick dinner and Beth is waiting for game 6 to start. I on the other hand am going to the hot tub and then to bed. Hoping I feel better tomorrow. Kyle has his last football game and I really want to seem him play. Today's picture is 2 of the pimpkins Beth did and I think they turned out great.

Busy Day...

I was up a little before 8am this morning. Since Beth was still in bed, I could not do laundry or vacuum the attic. So it was on to plan C, clean the house. So I started with living room, moved to the dining room, and last but not least the kitchen. I was just finishing when Beth got up. I started the laundry and Beth headed to the dentist. I was able to get the attic vacuumed up of the dirt and shingle stuff from when they put the new roof on. I moved a bunch of boxes to keep the Halloween and Christmas stuff on the south end of the garage. I still need to do the north end, but it looks a whole lot better. When Beth arrived back home, she helped me but the Halloween stuff in the attic. I was tired and dirty, so off to the shower I went. We had lunch and I headed to Target. We needed vitamins, shampoo, and toothpaste. So of course while I was there I checked out the Halloween stuff. I found a lighted mummy and a witch for next year and they were 75% off. I was a great deal. Beth vacuumed all the floors while Buster and I went downstairs. I was starting to not feel good again. Was running a little fever and had another headache. Beth headed to the hospital for a mammogram and then picked up dinner on her way home. No baseball game tonight as they head to NY for game 6 and 7. Still hoping for a world series win from the Phillies. Today's picture is of Jojo in her queen costume for Halloween.

Not felling well today...

We both had chiropractor appointments this morning. After that we headed to Target to do a little after Halloween shopping. Did not really find anything but did have breakfast at Starbucks. We then headed to the Wegman's store. I do not like the layout of the store. It is really hard to get around and I found that the selection of grocery items is not all that great. But is really great for precooked food items and had a great bakery selection. I don't think we will be doing our normal shopping there. On the way home I could feel a headache coming on. It seems to happen everything I have a neck issue and have an adjustment. It did not seem to be to bad yet, so Beth and I picked up all the Halloween stuff and put it in the garage since it was all dry. I then proceeded to pack it all in the appropriate tubs and boxs. Beth made a few calls to Disney getting some things set up for the March Disney trip. By now my headache had turned and I was not feeling so well. I came in and had lunch hoping that is might help, but it did not. I hate taking migraine aspirin as they upset my stomach, but I hate having a headache even more. I tried to take a nap, but could not. I fixed leftover turkey for dinner and I am watching football and Beth is watching the Phillies. They are up 6 -2 and we are hoping for a win to force game 6. It is win or go home time for the Phillies. Today's picture is of the grime reaper costume we put up in the front yard. We used a pumpkin light to lite up his face. It looked really cool.

Eagles win..

Not much to write about today. We headed to the Eagles game about 10:30am. The Eagles looked good from the very beginning and won over the Giants 40 - 17. It was a good game and a much needed win. We are not watching the Phillies and they are losing by 2. It is a must win for them tonight as coming back to win the next 4 game would be impossible. But we will see. Today's picture is of Payton in his Halloween costume. He was a bag of leaves. He was so cute.
