Happy Halloween...

We got up around 8am this morning. We all had Lucky Charms cereal for breakfast. Aunt Beth got Jojo ready for church and I took a shower. Kim and Lynne came by around 9:15 to pick up Jojo. Beth left for church around 10:15am and I headed to BJ's for a few things. Beth had to drop off the car AGAIN, so I went shopping while she was in church and she drove to the dealership. I picked her up and we headed back home. We had a quick lunch and watched football the rest of the day. We did get all the Halloween stuff out by 4pm as DJ, Maggie, and the boys came by first. Kim, Lynne, and Jojo came by a little later. We had about 5 more kids come by the rest of the night. Today's pictures are of the kid's in their costumes.

Jojo overnight..

We were up at 8am this morning. We had breakfast and took showers. Beth went to pick up the snow blower and then on to check on her dad. I started laundry and work on mom's calender. Beth came home around 1:30pm. She began working on cleaning out the pumpkin guts. She had 2 of them that she needs to carve. Kim and Lynne dropped off Jojo around 4:30pm. They had plans for tonight and we are watching her overnight. The will pick her up around 9am tomorrow. We had steak, cheesy potatoes, and corn and she cleaned her plate. She was not sure about the potatoes before dinner, but loved them after tasting them. We then watched the The Great Fairy Rescue movie. It was really good. Aunt Beth got Jojo ready for bed around 8am and Buster is sleeping with her now. We will be having Lucky Charms for breakfast. If I am lucky, I might get a little bowl. Between the 2 of them they can eat the whole box. We have to make sure all the Halloween stuff is ready to go as tomorrow is Halloween. We are not sure how many kids will be by as there are so many new families in the neighbor.

Halloween Parade...

We woke up this morning to a cold grey day. We had oatmeal for breakfast and I went outside to take care of the banana plants. I cut each one down at ground level and then put straw over the stump. I then put all the leaves from each plant over the straw and them landscape fabric to hold it all down. It did not take long and I am glad it is done. I them came in a took a shower and we headed to Micheal's. We need to get mats for the pictures we got in Disney and of course we had to have them custom cut. We then headed to AC Moore for picture frames for the other photos we got in Disney that had mats. We had lunch at Sonic and then came home. We headed to Rylee's daycare around 4pm. They were having a Halloween Parade for all the kids. She was a pirate princess and was so cute. After the parade, we headed over to Dawn and Jo's house for dinner and to play with Rylee. She was so tired from daycare and all the events of the day. The weather man say it will get to 35 degrees tonight. We are trying to hold off on turning on the big furnace until the last possible night. We have the little one in the living room on and things are nice, so we will see.

Cold weather on the way...

We have decided that sleeping til 9am is out and we need to get up by 8am everyday. I fixed a breakfast of bacon, eggs, and potatoes. We took showers and Beth left to go to her dad's house. I started pulling all the flowers from the flower bed and trimming the dead lillies. It only took a couple of hours to get everything done and it looks so much better. I fixed myself lunch and then played POGO on the computer for awhile. Beth came home around 4pm. I fixed ribs and sweet potato fries for dinner. We then settled in to watch TV. The cold weather is on it way and the high for the next week or so is 60 an the low is 32. So the priority for tomorrow is to get the banana plants cut down and mulched. One had already blown over with all the wind. We are then going to see Rylee in her daycare Halloween parade.

Cupcake day...

We woke up this morning to a rainy humid day. We had breakfast and took showers. I began making cupcakes and Beth was in the office. Her dad had already called twice today and it was not going to be a good day. After baking the cupcakes, I ran to Super Wal-mart for a couple of things and a roasted chicken. We had part of it for lunch and the rest for dinner. I started decorating the cupcakes and they were not working the way I wanted, so I went to plan B. They turned out pretty good. After dinner, we took them over the DJ and Maggie's house so Payton could take them to school tomorrow. He like them, so it was all worth it.

I was wrong...

We woke up this morning and it sure looked like it could rain. We took showers and had breakfast. I was wrong and we both wore shorts and t-shirts today. We could see our AAA travel agent at 2:30pm. We went to the mall and had lunch and shopped around. We then headed to the AAA store. After a phone call and several questions, we found out that we need to wait awhile to make our reservations. She said it was so early that we should wait and there might be better prices and other package deals. We were able to determine some prices and the best way for us to go. We then went to the grocery store and then home. I fixed dinner of pork chops, stuffing, and cream corn. I then folded the laundry and Beth went to work on her bathroom tiles. I am making cupcakes for Payton to take to school on Thursday. I am in a baking mood and want the items to leave the house after making.

Clean House...

We were up around 8am. Beth took and shower and I changed into work clothes. We had breakfast and Beth was off to her dad's house. I began work on the clutter all over the house. There were magazines, paper, toys, and just stuff everywhere. I also did the laundry. The cold weather just doubles the amount of clothes we wear. Oh to have summer back again. It was a nice day and I had the windows open. I finished the cleaning around 4pm and took a shower. Beth was home around 5pm. We had leftover burgers and hot dogs for dinner. Beth went downstairs to work on the floor. She wants to get one tile a night removed from the bathroom floor and then we can work on giving it a face lift. I think the tile have been down for the last 47 years, so they are well stuck to the floor. I also learned today that my cousin's wedding is going to be March 5, 2011. That sucks for us as we will be coming home form Disneyland and will not be able to make it. Hopeful there will be a video of it that we will be able to view. Congrats to you Julie and we are so happy for you. We are hoping to go and talk to our AAA travel lady tomorrow about the cruise and find the best deal we can.

Party Day...

We got up, took showers, and headed to the diner for breakfast. We still had a lot to do before the party. After breakfast, we headed to the store for the last minute items. Once home, Beth went downstairs to load the cooler and I started the food. I made the mac and cheese ahead of time and put it in the over around noon. We were having brats, dogs, and burgers, so I fired up the grill around 12:30pm. Everyone started arriving around then and the food was ready to go by 1:15pm. We had a house full of great friends today and had a really good time. At half time, Dawn, Jeff, and I went over to look at the new house across the street. The had all the sheet rock up and you could tell the rooms and sizes. The rooms on the main floor were really small and the layout was really choppy. There were 4 bedrooms upstairs and the master bathroom was way too small. The basement had a lot of room, but again the design was not open and too many rooms with no purpose. Not what I expected in a 380 thousand dollar house. After the eagles loss, everyone started to clear out and all were gone by 6pm. We cleaned up, which did not take long and are now watching the Packers and Vikings game. Beth is going to her dad's tomorrow and I am cleaning house, so need to get up early. Yea... Today's picture was taken at Disney during the fireworks.

Halloween is up...

After breakfast, we went in the attic and got all the Halloween stuff down. We then started putting it up in the yard. I stopped at noon to watch the college football games. I put a pot of chili on for tomorrow and made lunch. Beth came inside and we ate. At halftime, we went back to finish the Halloween stuff. It took us about 4hour total to get everything the way it should be. Beth took a shower and headed to church. I took a shower and started dinner. We had steak and backed potatoes and it was good. We then went out to check the light since it was dark. we still need to get everything on timers and need to move the fog machine, but all is good. Beth is watching the Phillies and cleaning downstairs and I am watching football and looking at cruise stuff. I think we found the cruise we want and are going to talk to our AAA rep on Monday about prices. We are having about 16 people over tomorrow for the game, so it should be fun.

Marching Boy...

The alarm went off at 7:30am, but we both were too tired to get up. We slept another hour and then took showers. We decided to have grilled ham and cheese for brunch. We left to go and take flowers to Beth's mom's grave as today was her birthday. We then went to Wal-mart for pumpkins and food items for the party Sunday. We got home and Beth cut the front yard. We are hoping to get all the Halloween stuff out tomorrow. It was a really cold and windy day. Our little heater is working great and we have yet to turn the big furnace on. Kyle is playing the drums in school and was marching tonight at the High School football game. As good godparents we went and sat in the freezing cold to see him play for 5 minutes. He did really well. We came home cold chilled to the bone and are watch TV and getting ready for bed. Today's picture is of the Haunted Mansion at Disney.

Run Run Run

We got up at 7:30am this morning. We had showers and were just eating breakfast when Dawn got here. We left around 9:30 and headed to Exton for some shopping. we went to Party City first. I got some Halloween stuff and plates for this weekends football party. Dawn got some Elmo stuff for Rylee's first birthday party. We then went to BJ's Wholesale club. After there, we headed to Cheeseburgers in Paradise. Dawn had to be back to the bus depot by 1:20pm and we made it there in time. We took her stuff as she had candy bars and it was a little warm out is which not a good combination. We came home and unloaded the car. We both tried to take naps but were not so lucky. We left around 4:30pm to go have dinner with Beth's dad. After dinner we stopped by Dawn and Jo's house to drop off their stuff and to play with the baby. When I opened the door to the house Rylee saw me and came walking across the floor and gave me a big hug. Boy does she ever melt my heart. We are now watching the Phillies game and are hoping for a win to bring the game back here, but are not sure that is going to happen. Today's picture was taken at, your got it, Disney.

New Heater...

We were up around 8:30am this morning. It was really foggy out and cold. Beth was watching a program on TV about the Eden pure heater. It is the same one her dad uses and one we had done research on. We had breakfast and took showers, then went to the store to check them out. We talked to the guy and gave us some information on them. We left and headed to ACE hardware to see if they carry them and were looking for the bigger model. To our luck they did have them and we got one. They cost around $400 dollars and we are hoping we will see a return on it by not turning the big heater on in the house for awhile. After about a couple of hours of running you could feel the difference in the living and dining room, which are the only rooms were wanted to heat. We like having the bedroom cool for sleeping. We then went to AAA to get some information on Panama cruises. We had dinner and Beth is now watching the Phillies and hoping for a win. I found that being in a different room is better for both of us. Today's picture was taken at Disney.

Phillies lose...

Again it was nice sleeping weather and we took full advantage of it. We had breakfast and took showers. Beth headed to her dad's house and I went to Target. I had to pick up the treats for the kids for Halloween. I then headed over to get my hair cut and colored. Beth came home a little before 4pm. The Phillies started and boy did they look bad today. I thought at one point I was going to have to put Beth in a time out. It was just better for me to stay in the office. After their lose we had dinner. We are going to set up all the Halloween stuff tomorrow. Today's picture is of Rylee playing in the car yesterday. She is not sure how to push it, but like to be pushed.

Playing with Rylee..

I was up at 7:30am and took a shower. Beth got up as I was getting out and took her shower. We had appointments to see Dr. Bill. After that we went to the bank and to the Verizon store. We had a wireless card that was losing power and we real did not need it any more. So we cancelled the contract and saved $60 a month. We then came home as Rylee was coming over with Dawn around 11:30am. Rylee got another shot today, but did not seem to mind at all. We had leftover pizza for lunch and Rylee went down for a nap. She was so tired. Dawn went back to work and I finished the laundry. Rylee got up around 3:30pm. We put on her jacket and went outside to play. As you can see from today's picture, she had a good time. Dawn came by around 4:30 to pick her up. We then had dinner and are watching the football game. Phillies play tomorrow.

Way to go Eagles...

Beth was up at 7am. She took her shower and headed to church. I was awake when she left but did not get out of bed for another 20 minutes. I took my shower and waited for her to call. She picked me up and we went to the cafe for breakfast. After breakfast, we went to wal-mart and Best buy. We made it home before kick off. The Eagles looked good and jumped out to an early lead and never looked back. Dawn, Jo, and Rylee came over to watch the game with us. Rylee is all about walking now and is getting good. They left after the Eagles game was over. We ordered pizza and watched the late afternoon games. It is a little boring on the Redzone when there are only 3 games going on. Beth is now watching the Phillies who need a win tonight to pull even. We have appointments with Dr, Bill tomorrow and then have Rylee in the afternoon after her doctor's appointment. Today's picture was taken at Disney.

Football Saturday...

We slept until 8am this morning. We had breakfast and took showers. I watched football most of the day and worked on scrapbook stuff. Beth played on the computer and then went to Kim and Lynne's house around 4pm. It was a very windy day and cold. We had dinner and Beth is watching the Phillies play. Not an exciting day, but a peaceful and relaxing day. Tonight's picture is the last night for food. It is the food from Germany. The top is Apfel Strudel with a Werther's Original Karmell sauce. It was really good. The middle is Spaetzle Gratin with ham and cheese. The bottom is a Nurnberger Sausage in a pretzel roll. We had a great time trying all the food and look forward to going back.

Snake 1 Beth 0...

I woke up at 7:30am this morning and took first shower. Beth got up right after that. We had to be ready by 9am as the cable guy was coming. We have had problems with the phone going dead and the cable dropping connection. The guys arrived at 9am, just as I was leaving. I had to go drop off the dry cleaning and mail a package to my mom. When I got back, the guys were still here. They had determined that the house wiring we had was bad and that we were getting a lot of noise on the line causing it to drop signals. So they replaced the lines in the basement and things seem to be better. The real test will come on Sunday when we fire up the laptop for the football games. After they left, we went to the nursery to get a bale of straw. I need to cut down the banana plants and get them ready for winter. Beth did the weed whacking in the back yard in prep for the mowing. I pulled all the flowers from the pots and moved the pots to the pool pump area. Beth was whacking the weeds by the coffin and I hear her yell and saw her running. I knew that she had seen a snake and I was correct. She yelled at me to go find it and to make sure it did not come after her while she finished the weed whacking. I tried not to laugh, but it was too late. Of course I never did see it and was told I could go about my business. We just about have everything picked up and ready for winter. Should be able to finish it tomorrow. I came in the house and finished the stew for dinner. I made cheese and garlic biscuits to go with it. We are going to look at getting a small room heater to see if we can use it to heat only the rooms we are in for now. It should save on the heating bills for awhile. Today's food picture is from Italy. The food on the left is Polpettine Toscane with a Rosemary bread stick. It was a meatball in sauce and very good. The middle one is Baked cheese Ravioli. The little chocolate thing was a Cannolo Al Cioccolato. I finally got to try a drink of a Primavera Fruit Smoothie. Boy did it taste good on a hot day.

Cold and Rainy...

It was nice to sleep in late, but was very cold. Rain was on it's way. I took a shower and put on sweats and a long sleeve shirt. It was very different from the shorts and t-shirts we were used to. They came today to dig the well for the house across the street and boy was it noisy. We had lunch and Beth went to go see her dad. I went over to talk with Kyle and to see how he was doing. He seems to be better and more focused on school. We have the cable people coming tomorrow to check out out phone. For some reason it just stopped working, you can hear the other person but they can't hear you. It happened twice today, so who know if it will happen when they are here. We got the boxes we shipped home from Disney today. I now need to see what everything is and put it with the other Christmas presents. We are about 3/4 finished with our shopping. Today's food comes from the US. It was a selection of different Heirloom tomatoes

with blue cheese and basil. It was very good and we had 2 plates of them.

Last day for shorts...

We had to get up at 7am as the people were coming to service the water conditioner at 8:30am. Boy was it cold out. The temperature said 47 degrees. But I refused to give in and put on shorts. OK I also had on a jacket, but still wearing shorts. I left around 9am to get some paper bags so Beth could trim the shrubs. The guy was here and done when I got home. Everything is good for another year. Beth worked outside and I work on the kitchen. I wanted to take everything out of the shelves and wipe them down. That way I would know what I had and what I needed. Beth came in for lunch around 1pm and we had sandwiches. She went back out to finish and I finished the kitchen. You can't tell I did anything unless you open the cabinets. I even wiped down the outside of them I had all the windows open and it was 68 degrees inside. It was a little cold and never did warm up today. I had to shut them after the sun went down. I did have the oven on for dinner so that helped a little. We decided that today would be the last day for shorts as the temperature the next 2 days is only going to get to the high 50s. So back to long pants and long sleeve shirts. We are getting rain the next 2 days, so I think fall is really here. We are hoping to get the Halloween stuff out this weekend. And would like to get the Christmas lights up the next warm and sunny day. Today's picture is of the food from Morocco. It is a Beef in a Pita Pocket and Baklava. Beth also had the Amazigh Red Wine. I was a little scared the first bite, but it was good. It was like ground beef and a tart slaw inside. Beth said the wine was good too.

Watching Payton...

Maggie dropped off Payton around 7:30am. Beth got him some breakfast while I took a shower. We had to take him to school today and needed to leave at 8:40am. Beth got her shower then put the car seat in the car. She had to change it from Rylee size to Payton size. We left right on time. We were not exactly sure where to go, but Milly was on the job. We found the school and Payton told us where to park and what door to go in. I got him all set up and then left. We headed to BJ's for some shopping and then back home. We had about an hour to kill at home before picking Payton up at 1pm. After picking Payton up we went to game stop. He wants to play with my DS but my games are to hard for him, so we got him a couple of easier games. We came home and he played a game then went to take a nap at 2pm. He slept until 3:45pm and DJ picked him up at 4:30pm. After they left we noticed we forgot to send his jacket and bag home, so after dinner we went to their house to drop off his stuff. It was good to spend some time with him. Today picture is the food from Belgium. It was a Baked waffle with berry compote and whipped cream. It was really good and rich.

Kinda lost...

We got up at 7am and made sure we could get in to see Dr. Bill this morning. We were both in needs for adjustments. After we saw Dr. Bill, we came home and Beth went to her dad's house. I started laundry. I was kinda lost not having Rylee around. We got used to it and missed it. Rylee stared her first day in daycare and did well. Beth came home around 2pm and started cutting the front yard. It needed it with all the rain we have had the last 2 weeks. It is going to rain again tonight and tomorrow and I also wanted to seed the front yard before winter hit. I fixed dinner and we waited for the football game to start which is running 45 minutes late due to the rain in New York. That is what is headed our way, so it should be here in a couple of hours. we are watching Payton tomorrow and have to take him to school tomorrow. Maggie told me that he would tell me where to park and where to go in at. Oh great, I am getting my information from a 3 year old. Today's picture is the food in Spain. I forgot to take a picture of it before we ate it, so I ran back to the stand and took one of some plates waiting to be served. It was a selection of Serrano ham, Chorizo, Manchego, olives, and Tomato Bread. They were all very tasty.

Rylee's first steps...

Beth went to 10:30am mass and I went to the store. I fixed nachos for lunch and we watched the RedZone. Dawn, Jo, and Rylee came over a little before the 4pm games. Rylee had taken her first steps yesterday without help. It was so cute. We played a while with her and she was getting sleepy. She has a big day tomorrow as she goes to daycare for the first time. They left around 6pm as Rylee needs to be in bed by 7pm to get her 12 hours of sleep. We are now flipping channels between the Phillies and the Eagles game and hoping for a win from both of them. Today's picture is the food from France. The left is Braised short ribs in Cabernet with mashed potatoes and the right is Creme Brulee au Chocolat au Lait. This was our second favorite meal. I am not a creme brulee person but Beth said it was very good.

Home..

We were up at 6:30am this morning. We had showers and finished packing. We called for a baggage guy to come and take the purple box and our one bag to the lobby. We were a little scared at the weight of the bag, but we still had a pound and 1/2. So we had breakfast and went back to the room. We got the rest of our stuff and went to the front to wait for the bus. We were able to catch an early bus for the airport. We got to the gate and boarded the plane. We made good time back but had to wait for the person to move the gate to the plane. So much for being early. We stopped and had dinner on the way home and the dropped off our bags at home. We then picked up Buster, who was so glad to see us. We have unpacked and are now headed to bed as it has been a long day. No picture tonight as I have to move them from the laptop to the office computer.

Last Day at Disney...

We slept late again this morning, but we did not go to bed until 1am. We took showers, had breakfast, and took the monorail to EPCOT to finish the food and wine tour. It was hot and sunny out today. We finish the last several places and then headed back to the room. I started to get things packed and hope we have enough room. We purchased several prints and hope they fit in one of the bags we have. We rested and then took the monorail to the Grand Floridian for dinner. It was not very good, so we will cross it off the list. We need to finish packing and then enjoy our last few hours here. We will be getting up at 6:30am to get out suitcase downstairs and then have breakfast. We need to catch the bus at 9:30am for the airport. The Halloween party was great and I will talk more about it when we post the pictures. Today's picture is of the food from Singapore. It was a Coconut-Braised beef rendering with Jasmine rice. It was not good at all. I had 3 bite to make sure I did not like it and I still did not. It was one of the foods we did not care for at all and did not finish.

Halloween Night...

We got up around 7:30am to shower, have breakfast, and head to the Magic Kingdom. We wanted to ride a few of our favorites before the crowds got there. But the crowds never came. We watched the 3pm parade and then headed over to our home resort for a visit. We were able to find 3 of the vinylmations we were looking for. For those who don't know what a vinylmation is it is a little plastic mickey mouse in different designs and themes. We then came back to our room and rested before headed to the Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. That is why we were posting the blog early. Today's picture is food from South Africa. The first is a cold rice salad with black beans and items. The second was a basil bread with a tomato spread and a coriander spread. Both were good.

Christmas Shopping...

Boy did we sleep in late today. We never got out of bed until 9:30am. We had showers and had oatmeal in the room. We then caught the bus to downtown Disney. We did some of our Christmas shopping and had it shipped home. It was great to be ahead of the game. We came back to the room around 5pm and stay glued to the TV to watch for highlights of the Phillies winning the first game of the playoffs. We then had dinner downstairs and watched the fireworks from the landing. It was great and you could really see the fireworks. It was a great day to just take it easy and relax. Tomorrow is a big day as we are going to the Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween party. Today's picture is of the lettuce wrap with roast pork and kimchi slaw from South Korea. It had a little bite to it but tasted alot better than we first thought.

Food Day Part 2

We slept until 8:30am this morning. We wanted to go to Hollywood Studio to do the Toy story Ride, but knew we would not make it in time. We had breakfast and caught the bus. We got there around 10:30 am and the wait for Toy story was already 80 minutes and all fast passes were gone. No big deal as we have been on it many times and have the game at home. We walked around and had our picture taken with several different characters. We then headed over to EPCOT for part 2 of the Food and Wine festival. We were able to take the boat over and entered in the back closer to the food. We hit several more food stands and loved it all. Today's picture is of the food we had in China. It was Pork Pot Stickers and Xinjing Barbecue Chicken Stick. I would not order pot stickers again, they were both good. I really love tasting all the food from the different countries. You really get a good size portion and it is a great way to taste things without paying a big price. We headed back to the front to catch the Monorail back to the room. I made this mistake of having tea last night before bed and was not able to get to sleep until 3:30am, so I was getting tired. We picked up our purchase at the desk that we made yesterday and headed to the room. We rested until 8pm and then had dinner downstairs. I am not sure what our plans are for tomorrow, but I am sure sleeping late is involved.

Food day...

We slept until 10am this morning. We were so tired from all the travel yesterday. We headed to Magic Kingdom and had an early lunch. We had a really great hotdog and fries. We then went to ride the Haunted Mansion ride, which is our favorite. We then went to Toon Town. Jojo's class has a traveling bear that goes with kids on vacation and we got it for Jojo. So we went to get his picture taken with Mickey. You have the little bears picture taken in different places then you add the pictures and a caption to the book and the class shares the experience. We then rode Buzz light year and Stitch. We headed to EPCOT to sample some of the food and wine they have. We are taking pictures of all the stuff were tasting and will write about each one and have pictures. That way we can have different pictures each night. Some things are great and others we could not finish. So stay tune. The first one was at Poland. We had Kielbasa and Potato Pierogies and caramelized Onions. The second dish was Golabki which is Pork stuffed Cabbage roll. This was the best thing we had today. We will even go back and get another sample. Most of the samples run from $3 to $5. Sometimes we share a plate and other times we each get a plate. We hit four more places before we were full. We did stop at the German candy place. Beth had a huge Carmel square and I had a Carmel pecan patty. Boy were they to die for. We took the boat back to the entrance of the World Showcase and headed over to ride Soarin', again one of our favorite rides. We then headed back to the room with our butts dragging. We had salads and soup for dinner. It was a great day. The temperature was nice all day. Low 80s and sunny.

Disney at Last

We were up at 4:30 am this morning for our 8am flight to Orlando. It was an uneventful ride into Philly and a smooth flight followed. After we checked into our hotel, we went to EPCOT. It is the Annual Food and Wine Festival at EPCOT and we wanted to scope it out. There will be food eaten and wine drank this upcoming week. We took in a Taylor Dane show, it was very good but only about 30 minutes. Then we went to Germany and dinner at the Beir Gartens. The food was excellant as always. We then came back to our room and unpacked, and watched the end of the Sunday night football game. Tomorrow will come very fast, we are not setting the alarm!

Ready for Disney...

We slept until 9am this morning. It was kinda strange not hearing a little cry to get and get her out of the pack n play. We had breakfast and I began cleaning the kitchen. Beth had to go get dog food and mail some cards. We had lunch and Beth bagged up Buster's food. We were dropping him of at DJ and Maggie's house so he could spend time with Gabby. Beth went to 5:30 mass and then picked up Buster and me. I think Buster knew where he was going. As soon as we turned onto their street, Buster got all excited. He was so glad to see Gabby. We left there and went to dinner. No need in messing up my clean kitchen. We came home and Beth finished doing the floors. I finished the last minute packing and took out the trash. We are hoping Dawn will bring them back tot eh front of the garage Monday when she gets the mail. We are off to bed as 4:30am will come early, but we will be excited.

Rain Rain Go Away...

We woke up this morning to Dawn calling us for a shop vac. Her downstairs had flooded last night during the rain storm. We got up took showers, had breakfast, and loaded stuff up. We headed to Dawn's house around 10am. Rylee was glad to see her mommy D. The basement was a mess. Water had soaked the carpet and had at one time been 4 or 5 inches deep. Beth began using the shop vac and I sat with Rylee up stairs. Dawn went to get a second vac. Beth had already removed 25 gallons and had made a small dent in the process. Dawn returned home just in time to leave again. She has been trying to take her test and it keeps getting cancelled. I fed Rylee lunch and she went down for a nap. I ran out to WAWA for hoagies for us. We were able to get the gate up for Dawn so Sydney, the dog, could be separated from Rylee when needed. Dawn returned home only to tell us her test was cancelled again. She will try again on Monday. Jo came home around 4pm from her training in Philly all week. She was not to upset about the water, but what can you really do. We left around 5pm. I headed home to clean and Beth went to see her dad. I was kinda lonely without Rylee, but she is with her mommies and loving it. We did have water in out basement. but no too bad. We have a drain that most of it ran into. Only a few things got wet. We had about 10 inches of rain in 24hours. The ground could not soak up any more. At least it was sunny today, but all the rivers are running high. I did read a lot of the malls had flooding also. We are glad that storm has passed. We will sleep late in the morning and then finish cleaning house and packing. We leave Sunday morning for Disney and can't wait to get there.
