Ladybug cupcakes...

I got up and was at the gym by 8:15am and back home by 9:30 am. The crew was busy laying asphalt on the street in front of our house and it did not smell great all day. Beth made and baked the cupcakes and I decorated them, so it was a team effort. The guy came to fix the electrical line around 11 am. He just capped it off at the wall and will run a new line once the landscaping is done. we had lunch and Beth went outside to putter around. It was a nice day and no more rain. we had pork chops for dinner and afterwards took the cupcakes up to Rylee for school tomorrow.

No Atkins Bars...

We were up and out the door by 8:30 am to see Dr. Bill. Afterwards, we had to stop by Beth's brother Jeff's house to have him sign some papers and to visit a while. We then left and went to what would be our first of 4 stops at Wal-Mart. I was looking for my Atkins Peanut Butter bars. I found one box and Beth found the bars she was looking for. We then stopped at AC Moore for some items for the ladybug cupcakes I will be making tomorrow. The it was stop number 2 at Wal-Mart, but no luck there. We stopped at NAMCO so Beth could get a noodle holder for the pool noodles, then a quick stop at the store. We came home and had lunch and then off to number 3 and 4 Wal-Mart in Reading and still no luck. So I came home and looked on ebay and found them there cheaper than what I could get in the store, so I bought 120 bars. Yep, that will last me for awhile. We then had beef and cabbage for dinner and then on to Maggie's house for Payton birthday. Happy Birthday Payton!!!!

Chores....

We both got up around 8 am this morning. We had showers and Beth went to 10:30 am mass. I did a load of towels and cleaned the kitchen and living room. We went to Taco Bell for lunch to try the new Cool Ranch tacos. They were ok, but would not get them again. We came home and Beth cut the back yard. I worked on getting the scrap book room back in order. Beth made lemonade slushies' and they were pretty good. Dawn, Jo, and Rylee walked down to have some and we played outside for a while, It was another nice day, but the wind, rain, and colder weather will be here the next couple of days.

Spring planting....

We were up around 8am this morning. We had breakfast and went outside to work. Beth removed the tree stump by the garage door. I began planting some of the flowers we had and working in the flower bed. We stopped around noon for some lunch. We then went to Lowe's , Home Depot, and Colonial gardens. We just happened to buy flowers and more at each location. We were back home about 3pm and finished planting and cleaning up. I still have some flowers to plant, but have to wait for the shrub to be removed by the flag pole to finish that project. We had leftovers for dinner and we are both tired and ready for bed. It was a good day.

Grand central station....

We got up around 8 am this morning. I got dressed and was about to walk out the door, when the door bell rang. It was Beth's brother Frank. Beth was just getting out of the shower, so I talked with Frank awhile. I then left and went to the gym and was back home by 10:15 am. The guys were just getting here to start the paving and grading of the house across the street and the rest of the house in our little neighborhood. So truck and more truck were all over the place. I went and took a shower and then Beth and Frank went to lunch. They guy came to seal our drive way, so we had to move all the cars off of it.  Maggie came by to get DJ as she was going home. As we were loading her stuff, Gayle and her son came by to get the mini fried in the garage. Maggie left and the landscaping guy came to pull the bushes out. He was here until 5pm and got all but one bush out. He will be back to do it by hand. We had leftovers for dinner and watch the first few pick of the draft, then went to Best Buy and got gas in the caddy. So today was a very busy day with lots of people in and out.

Draft day...

I was up and at the gym by 8:30 am and bay home by 9:45 am. Beth and I went to Reading to get ribs for dinner and a few other things. We came home and had lunch. I then went outside to move the hen and chicks in the front, so they would not be destroyed when they come to rip out the bushes. Beth weed whacked the front yard. Dawn and Rylee got here around 5:45 pm and we had dinner. Rylee and I walked to her house and Beth and Dawn drove. We were back home jus tin time to watch the first round of the NFL draft. Football season is just around the corner. So excited....

Meds check day...

I was up and out the door to the doctor's by 8 am. She was happy with my weight loss and all my number except my iron were good. I iron count is still low for some reason and I am taking double iron pills, so she is going to watch it and see if anything changes. I was back home by 9:45am. DJ and I went to the Target and then to the grocery store. We came home and had lunch and Beth and I left. I had to go get my driver's license picture taken, Beth had to pick up her eye glasses, and then we stopped at the pool store as it is going out of business. We then went to Home Depot and got some flowers. We had Chinese for dinner and I am so ready for bed.

Prep day...

We got up around 8 am this morning. I was at the gym and home by 10 am. We had breakfast and then went outside. Beth and I had to move all the bricks around the light post and move all the stuff by the birdbath. That was in preparation for the bushes being removed. DJ came and sat outside and fixed the weed whacker for Beth. Dan asked us to pick up Rylee from school, so we came in and had lunch and I took a shower. I picked up the boys, so they could spend time with DJ and then Beth and I went to pick up Rylee. We had spaghetti for dinner and it was really good. DJ made most of it while we were gone. Kim, Lynne, and Jojo came by to drop off our car and Dawn and Jo came to pick up Rylee. Boy was it a house full.

Everything fixed...

We both got up around 7:30 am this morning. Beth went to Dawn and Jo's house to take a shower. The cable guy called at 8:15 am and was on his way. We was suppose to be here between 9 and noon. Then 10 minutes later the guy called about the sewer and said he would send someone right away. Beth was back home by 8:45 am and I left for the gym. When I got back home, the guy was already looking at the sewer and the cable guy was gone. He could not find anything wrong, Surprise Surprise. He did change out the modem in the basement, so we will see. The sewer guy was able to unstop the drain and said something must have caught on a bur in the pipe, but it was fixed now. Does not made me feel any better about the issue. So I took a shower and flushed every toilet several times to make sure it was running alright. I then headed to Barnes and Noble and Beth cut the yard. It took her 2 passes to get it cut short enough. We went to Lowe's to get some water alarms to put on the floor downstairs, so if it backs up again we will know sooner.

Not a good day....

Beth was up and at church by 8 am. I got up and made a new recipe for breakfast. Beth was home and breakfast was ready. It was a French toast type thing, but I did not like it at all. Beth and DJ ate it and said it was alright. So I went downstairs to do some scrapbook and found the basement full of water. It was all over the tool room floor, in the bathroom, part of the scrape book room, and a little bit of the wine room. So I told Beth got down here and we used the shop vac to suck up water and a fan to dry out what we could. Just great. A new sewer and it already backed up. So Beth called the guy we worked with and got no answer, but being a Sunday, we did not expect one. So we went to Dawn and Jo's to use their potty the rest of the day. Maggie came over with Payton and then DJ and Maggie left to go mow a lawn. I picked up Kyle from work at 3pm and came home. I fixed steak, buttered noodles, and corn for dinner. It was sure different doing dishes in a dish pan. We went to Dawn and Jo's house to do a few of the pots and potty again. I sure hope tomorrow is a better day.

Ready to print...

I was up and at the blood place by 8:30 am this morning. They took 4 tubes of blood and a pee sample. I came home and had some breakfast. DJ slept until almost 11 am this morning. She is doing really well with walking and bending he knee. I took her to Wal-Mart after lunch for some shopping and to get out of the house. They did not have an motorized carts, so I pushed her in the wheel chair they did have. We dropped off the stuff she got at her house and she was able to see the dogs. we came home and I took Beth and Buster to PetSmart. Buster is such a scary cat when going to the groomer. After pushing him out the car, he slowly made the trip inside. I went to Best Buy to get a new CD drive for the computer downstairs. Beth went to install it and found the other one just had a loose wire. So I will take the new one back tomorrow and save 40 bucks. So I finally got the printer installed and I think everything is ready to go. We are expecting some rain this evening, so we will see if it happen. we are under a tornado watch until 11 pm, but I don't think anything will happen.

Not much....

I was up and at the gym and back home by 9:30 am. I stopped by Dawn and Jo's house as Beth was waiting for the table to be delivered. We visited for a while and then I came home. I took and shower and helped DJ get ready for hers. Beth came home around noon and we had lunch. Beth and I went to Wal-Mart for a few things and then came home. I went downstairs to print some stuff  and forgot the cd player did not work in the computer. Maggie is going to swap them out tomorrow for me. Beth's slushy machined came today and she was not at all happy with the packaging. They just threw some peanuts in the bottom and tossed the machine on top. She will run some water through it tomorrow to make sure it is working correctly. Maggie got off work early and stopped by to see DJ and then found out that there was no class tonight for racing. So she went to get the boys and they all had dinner together. Beth and I went up to Dawn's house as Rylee really wanted to spend some time with her kitty. I was another chilly rainy day today. Sure hope the sun comes out soon.

All fixed...

I was up and at the gym and home by 9:45 am. DJ was still sleeping and Beth was not feeling well. She went to see the doctor and has a sinus infection and she gave her some meds to help clear it up. I took a shower and we then had lunch. We took off DJ's wrap and her knee looked pretty good. She posted some pictures on face book and it is still swollen, but looks good. She is walking softly on her leg and trying to bend it as instructed. We went and purchased a new riding lawn mower and it will be here in a couple of weeks. I was able to get all the issues with my circuit program fixed and back to printing. I also called the deck guy and put down our deposit and the guy will be here Sunday to start removing all the bushes in front. So I had a very busy day. Beth was able to get the back yard cut twice since it was so high and thick. It really looks nice.

One down..one to go...

I was up and at the gym by 8:15 am this morning. I came home, took a shower, and had to go the doctor's office and the grocery store. I was back home around lunch time. we had lunch and Beth went out to finish working in Pooh's corner. I went downstairs to work on the Circut stuff. I got one problem solved by talking to the customer service person. Now I will tackle the other issue tomorrow with Beth's help first. I put a chicken on the set it and forget it and went to go pick up the boys around 4 pm. We had chicken, tato tots and corn. Yummy. Happy Anniversary to my parents as it is their 21 wedding anniversary.

DJ is here...

We were up and out the door by 8:45 am this morning. We saw Dr. Bill and then came home. I went to the guy and was back home by 10:30 am. Maggie had text that Dr. was out of surgery and in recovery. Beth had to leave around 11:15 am to go to the eye doctor and Maggie got here around 12:30 pm. We got DJ all settled and I had to go to my hair appointment for a much needed cut and color. Beth was just about home and Maggie went to go get her meds. I fixed hotdogs with mac and cheese for dinner and we all visited the rest of the evening.

New computer...

Beth was up and at church by 8 am. I on the other hand slept until almost 9 am. I took a shower and we had breakfast. We then went to Best Buy to look at new computers. The one I wanted they did not have in stock, so we went to Reading for it. we stopped at Chipotle for lunch. We then stopped at Dawn and Jo's house to see how Rylee and the kitty, name of lollypop, were doing.  They were having a ball and they both really like each other. we then came home  and I set up the computer. It had windows 8 with will take some getting used to. I have to call the Cricut customer support on my other one tomorrow to see if they can help fix an error I have with it. DJ came by to drop off her clothes she will need for the next week. She has surgery tomorrow at 10:30 am and will be staying with us for awhile.

Mower gone...

We were up around 7:30 am this morning. We had breakfast and took showers. We emptied out the filing cabinet in the office and moved it downstairs. It sure makes the room look bigger. I went down to scrapbook after lunch and put away the stuff I got at the expo. Maggie came by around 6 pm to pick up the mover and snow blower. Beth will not look at getting a new one as the grass will need to be cut soon.

Expo a bust...

I was up and ready to go by 8 am. I was a rainy cold day, but I was looking forward to the Expo. I found a close place to park which was a good thing as it was raining cats and dog. I got my tickets and only had to wait in line for about 5 minutes. The first booth I hit was a great find and picked up lots of items. The rest of the booths were a bust. There was only about 25 booths there, which was way lest than last year and most of them for for card making. So my 10 am I was done, except I had a class at 12:30 pm. So I went to BJ's and did some shopping and sat in the truck for about 40 minutes. I went back in and got a pretzel with cheese and a water. I then went to class. We got alot of really cool things and after class I went to a couple of booths to get some things they talked about. So I guess I will have to sign up for the one in Lancaster and see it my regular vendors attend that one.I came home and unloaded the car and then went to Dawn and Jo's house. As you can see from the picture, Rylee got a kitty today and she loves her. We are still waiting on a name, but I am sure it will not be long.

Sofa gone...

I was up and at the gym by 8:30 am . I had to stop at the store on the way home and pick up a few things. Beth was weed whacking the side of the driveway in prep for the sealing tomorrow. Mark came by to get the sofa around 5:30 pm , about the same time Dawn and Rylee got here. We had waffles and bacon for dinner  and Jo was able to join us for dinner later. We moves the cars to the grass as the guy is going to be here early tomorrow. I will be leaving for the Scrapbook expo at 8 am and Beth is spending the day with Dawn. I should be a good day for both of us.

No sofa...

We were up and out loading the new sofa by 9 am. We left and stopped by the bank and then dropped off the sofa to be re-covered. We then stopped by the house to pick up the hitch and the guy was here to talk about re-sealing the driveway. So after talking to him, we are having the last coat of sealer put on Friday. We stopped by DJ and test out the trailer  The lighting system was not working and they were not sure if it was Maggie's car or the trailer. It was the trailer. We then went to the gym for our work out. We came home and had some lunch and then started moving the sofa out of the living room and into the garage and moved the rockers into the living room. The hardest part was the middle section. Not only was it heavy, but wide. After a couple of tries we finally got it out and we dead tired by then. We took showers and went out to dinner as we had a gift card. Yea me for not having to cook. It is now raining cats and dogs, but the temperature has really cooled off, which will be nice for sleeping.

Working in the garden...

I was up and at the gym by 8:30 am this morning. It was so nice that I worn shorts. Beth left and went around 10:30 am. I went outside and clipped all the Japanese blood grass and was surprised I did not have to stop often for a rest. Beth came home and we had lunch and went back outside to work in Pooh's corner. I came in around 2 pm and took a shower and Beth came in about an hour later. She got about 2/3 of it done and will finish tomorrow. We had to go to the post office and to the whole food store, then on to Lowe's. I fixed bar-b-que chicken on the grill and it was yummy. It is a really warm and sunny day today and more tomorrow.

Shorts weather...

I slept a little late and did not get to the gym until 8:45 am and was back home by 10 am. The oil guy was just pulling into the driveway as I was leaving. We had breakfast and took showers and the headed to the pool place. They had chemicals on sale for the pool and we will needs some this summer. We then went to Wal-mart and then to lunch. We were back home by 3 pm. It was a nice warm day out and we loved it. The next 3 days will be in the high 70' and even hit mid 80's.before falling to rain and 50 on Friday. But it will be nice while it lasts. Dr. Bill gave a clinic on the ABC of vitamins and I learned alot tonight. I will have to share some things with my mom tomorrow.  We are hoping to leave the windows open tonight and get a nice breeze for sleeping.

Yard work....

Beth was up and at church by 8 am. I woke up and was not feeling well at all. It started last night as Dawn's house with several sneezes and watery eyes. The then nose ran and ran and ran. Good guess that the Spring time allergies are here and were still there in the morning. So it is back on nose spray and twice a day pills until it is over. So we had breakfast, read the paper, and did a little work outside. We left around 11 am to meet Dawn and Jo at Colonial Gardens to have someone come out and look at their front yard for landscaping. We had some lunch and went outside to move the bushes. We got that all done and it was time for a break, which lasted the rest of the day. I now have to carry a box of tissues around and feel like my eyes are going to pop right out of my head. Hopefully in a few days things will calm down a little. I love Spring, but hate the allergies that go with it.

Spring...

We were up most of the night with Buster. Beth gave him a big old ham bone and as I suspected, he had the runs all night long. So we finally got up for good around 8 am. We had breakfast and went to work outside around 10 am. It was a little chilly, but was finally great to be outside. I was able to get all the weeds out of the flower beds and Beth got all the bricks picked up from around the flowers we have to move tomorrow. We went to Lowe's and got much and top soil, which is for tomorrow's project. We got new shutters for the house, but we don't think we need them and will not put any shutters back up. We finally came in for lunch around 1 pm. We took showers and headed to Dawn and Jo's house around 5 pm for a cook out and to watch the men's final 4 games. It was a great evening with friends.

Movie time....

Beth and I left at the same time this morning. I left to go the the gym and she left to go pick up DJ. They headed up to the other side of Allentown for DJ to look as some place for her landscaping business. I got home around 9:45 am and took a shower. I headed to the bank and was back home by lunch time. DJ asked me if I could take Kyle to work as she was looking at another property. I was able to get a couple loads of laundry done before heading out to the movies. I saw GI Joe and it was just OK. Beth finished it up when she got home, but left around 3:30 pm to go meets some friends and watch the Phillies lose their home opener and was back home around 7:30 pm. Tomorrow we are going to work outside and hope it is another nice day.

Phase 2 to begin...

I was up and at the gym by 8:15 this morning and back home before Beth was out of bed. We took showers and headed to see the financial guy about some changes coming up. We then stopped by the nursery to start phase 3 of the yard. The will begin removing all the bushes around the round yard. And then plant the right side of the house with new bushes and flowers. We then went to the outlet mall and got new tennis shoes and finally made it home around 1 pm. I left around 3:30 pm to go pick up Kyle and take him to work, then swing by Maggie's mom and get Payton off the bus an take him home, so DJ could then take him and the trailer to the track. I stopped by the store and then came home. I put a port tenderloin in the set it and forget it for dinner with noodles and carrots. Dawn and Rylee got here around 5:30 and we ate at 6 pm. Rylee and I played some games and then I took here home around 7:45 pm. I love having Thursday dinners with them.

Phase 1 of the yard...

I was up and st the gym by 8:30 am this morning and back home by 10 am. The guy had finished the grading of the front yard and boy do we have alot of dirt and no grass. Beth had to go back out and replant the little tree they dug up to run the pipe. So phase 1 of the yard is complete and we will call on phase 2 and get all the bushes removed. I started cleaning the house and DJ came by around 1 pm. She needed some piece and quite to get some stuff done and needed to use our computer. I had to run to the bank and to the post office. It was a nice morning, but the cool breeze blew in and we might see rain tomorrow. But we should see 70's on the week-end which will be nice.

New Sewer...

I was up and at the gym by 8:15 am this morning. Beth had left me a text saying I would have to go to Dawn and Jo's house to shower, as the sewer was being pumped out. So I gathered my things and we headed to their house. I am SOOOOOO glad they live close to us. I took a shower and we then headed to Cabela's for some shopping. We first stopped by the ranch to plant St. Joesph at the ranch in hopes of a quick sale. Then had lunch at Red Robin, then on to Cabela's, and finally a quick stop at wal-mart. We got home around 4 pm and the sewer was all hooked up. They still have to finish the back fill and grade the yard, but we now have to paid to get rid of our poop. It was cold and windy today and I would really love some warm weather.

Digging...

We got up around 7:30 am, got dressed, and out the door by 8:30 am. We saw Dr. Jill today as Dr. Bill was out of the office. It was then on to the gym and back home. The big rigs started rolling in around 11 am and began digging up the yard. As you can see we have a big hole and lots of dirt. Hopefully they can finish it up tomorrow. We will be gone, as they will need to keep water out of the pipes for most of the day. We did meet with the landscaper today and love the plans he has for the front and back yard. We will be doing it in sections as it will not be cheap.
