Dentist and Pictures...

I got up around 7:30am this morning and took a shower. I had a dentist appointment at 9am for a cleaning. It was good news in that things are looking good and I can go see the regular dentist in March, but see them again in June. I still have to have the surgery done on the right side next week, but will be glad to get it over with. I came home and picked up Beth. We went to Michael's to have some art work we got in Disney matted. The process takes so long to get all the infor and we had to come back and take to the person that cuts the mats about a special cut we wanted done. So we left everything there for her to look over and went to the mall. We went to the hallmark store and had lunch. We then went to AC Moore as I had a gift card and wanted to get some stuff for my Christmas baking. We left there and went back to Michael's. The girl we talked too had some concerns about the size of the mat, but after taking about it we were able to work it out. We were not able to get the special cut, but we will live with it. We finally came home around 3pm. Beth was feeling better today and had to work on bills. That is a warning for me to stay out of the office. So I got caught up on my TV shows that we missed while in Disney and then made dinner. I made Capt. Crunch Chicken with rice and carrots. It was really good and will be keeping the recipe. I then went downstairs and put the ornaments on the tree. We would woke on the hearth and fireplace tomorrow. The weather was cold today and I am not sure we even hit the 50's. We turned our outside Christmas light on today and they look good. I hope to get some stuff in the yard tomorrow.

Beth to the doctor...

Beth was up early as she could not sleep. I slept until 8:30am. I was on the computer for awhile and took a shower. Beth came in and said she had a doctor's appointment at 10am and would I take her. That was a sign to me that she was not feeling well at all. So off we went. The doctor said she had a really bad Sinus infection and gave her some antibiotics. I dropped her off at home and went to CVS to get her meds. She took them and went to lay down. Nothing more I could do for her, so I went to the movies to see Breaking Dawn part 1. It was a good movie, but as always with a 2 parter you were left hanging. I then went to BJ's wholesale club for a few things and then came home. Beth was still sleeping, so I let her be. She got up around 5pm and I made her some mashed potatoes for dinner. I then went downstairs and got the Christmas tree up and got out the ornaments. Then a movie came on I wanted to see, so that was the last of putting the tree together. Oh well, there is always tomorrow. I have a dentist appointment at 9am tomorrow, so no sleeping late.

Beth is a little better...

We got up at 7:30am this morning. Beth was feeling a little better and had not pucked in 12 hours. We went to see Dr. Bill, but he was on vacation, so we saw Dr. Jill. We both got our knees adjusted with all the walking we did in Disney. After our adjustments, I dropped Beth back at the house and went to the grocery store. We needed a few things and the deli had some mesquite smoked brisket that was to die for. I was back home around 11am and finished the laundry. Beth was sleeping on the couch and was a little more human. I had some lunch and left for my hair appointment. Deb, my hair dresser, was busy today and I was here second appointment of the day. I came home and Beth wanted some buttered noodles for lunch. I folded all the laundry and put my stuff away. Beth still had to fold her t-shirts and put them away. I am hoping Beth feels better tomorrow as I am going to the movies and then to BJ's wholesale club.

Beth now sick...

We were up at 5:30am this morning. we took showers and went down to breakfast. We left the hotel around 7am and were on the road home. Beth was not feeling well at all. She had a really bad sore throat and an upset stomach. I was just hoping we could get home, before she got worse. We stopped for gas at the Maryland house and it was extremely busy. We were third in line for gas, when the cars ahead of us moved. We finally started pumping our gas and were about done when the car ahead of us left. Right then another car came from nowhere and backed into the spot, which they were not suppose to do, and we were stuck. We said something to them and they just blew us off. Of course they were from out of state, but come on man and wait your turn just like everyone else. So we finally made it home around 12:30pm. We got all the stuff into the and just relaxed. I made us lunch and went downstairs to watch football and Beth was watching something upstairs, but came down and laid on the couch. She got up and went to the bathroom and that was it. She began pucking and had the runs also. Great, she now has what the rest of the group had early this week. I am just hoping I do not get it as I have way to much to do. I sorted the laundry and was able to get 3 loads done tonight, but still have 2 or 3 left for tomorrow. We are seeing Dr. Bill and 9am and I have a hair appointment at 12:30pm. I am hoping to get the Christmas tree up tomorrow and some decorating for Christmas.

Another Issue...

We got up around 5:30am this morning. We had everything packed and called for a bell hop around 6:15am. He had a very big load with all our stuff on the cart and we were not sure it would all fit in the call. But Dawn was very good at packing and we had plenty of room. We had breakfast and started on our way. We made it to Orlando and Dawn noticed the tire pressure dropped fast. So we exited off the highway and found a gas/garage station. Sure enough we had a flat tire. It seems we hit a piece of metal that lodged in the tire. The had a replacement tire in their warehouse that was 20 minutes down the road. So we waited and it finally arrived and was installed. So on our way we went, but again we were behind schedule. Rylee did very good in the car, but again she is not a car sleeper and was very tired and fussy the last 20 miles of the drive. We made it to Petersburg, Virginia. We are hoping to leave around 7am tomorrow and have a 5 hour drive. So hopefully we will not have an issue in the morning.

Rylee was done...

We got up around 8:30am this morning. It was our final day at Disney and we wanted to do some last minute shopping. So we caught the bus and headed downtown. We went to Earl of Sandwich for lunch, then hit a few more shops. I had to go to the Photo pass place as a couple of the magic shots did not turn out as we wanted. We found out why they did not work and they were able to add a couple of things. We left around 2:15pm to come back to the room. Rylee was a little fussy and we hoped she would take a nap before dinner. We caught the boat to the Contemporary for Chef Mickey. Rylee was not happy a dinner, but did love see the characters. After dinner, we took the monorail to Magic Kingdom. I need to check on the magic shot as I was not able to see then on the computer. They said it took take a few days to show up, but they were on file. By this time was not Rylee was not happy at all and was done with everything. We knew it was time to leave and come home. She cried all the way home and was so happy to be able to go to bed. She has been a real trooper this whole week, but today was it for her and she was done.

Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving to all our family and friends. We got up around 6:30am this morning. We had reservation for the Ohana breakfast with Stitch and his friends. Rylee had no problems talking to all the characters and her friend Pluto was there. We left there and caught the bus for Animal Kingdom. We first went to see The Lion King show but go there late and the said it was standing room only. There were able to find 4 seats for us, but there were not together. We were still able to see the show and sit down, so it was all good. We left there and went to catch the safari. The wait time was 50 minutes, so we just got a fast pass and headed to the train. Rylee was able to see a few animals and had her picture take with Rafiki. It was time for our safari, so we took the train back to the depot. Rylee was so tired that she fell asleep and stayed asleep the whole time we were on the ride. We saw so many animals and they were very close to the truck. Poor Rylee woke up after we got off the ride and missed seeing all the animals. We caught the parade and headed back to the room. We stopped off and had dinner in the cafe. We had hamburgers and fries. We were hoping Rylee would take a little longer nap, but she was having no part of that. So we left around 7:30pm to go back to the Magic Kingdom to see the evening parade. Rylee was not sure she liked some of the floats and told them to stay away. She was so tired after the parade, that we came back to the room. It only took her 5 minutes to go down for the night. She had been a real trooper this whole trip. Based on what we have seen from other kids her age, things could be a whole lot worse. Tomorrow is our last day here and we are so sad, but look forward to coming back in February.

A long day...

We got up around 8:30am this morning and Rylee got up around 9am. We decided to head to the Magic Kingdom and spend there afternoon there. Rylee had her picture taken with her holding Tinker Bell. She had been practising the holding pose and did great. We had some hot dogs and fries for lunch and then headed to the It's a Small World ride. The wait was about 25 minutes, but the line moved fast and Rylee did great. She was so amazed at all the colors and characters. We then took a couple more pictures in form of the castle. We then headed over to frontier land to watch the parade. We were able to get a great spot and Rylee loved seeing all the characters and touching hands with them. We then wen to the Country Bear Jamboree. Rylee loved the dsncing and singing bears. It was then time for dinner at the Liberty Tree Tavern for steak, pork, and turkey with all the trimmings. We then went to see the Tiki Bar show and all the colorful talking birds. We were going to ride the Jungle Cruise, but the wait line was 35 minutes. That was too long for a very very tired little girl. She did really well with having no nap today. We headed to the boat and Rylee fell asleep, so we waited for the big boat so we did not have to take her out of the stroller. She woke up when we got to the room, but it did not take long for her to go back to sleep. We have breakfast with Stitch in the morning and will then head to Animal Kingdom. What a great day it was.

Hello Christmas...

Beth and I woke up around 8:30am. We could hear Rylee in the other room with her two year old ' No No NO Mine', so we knew she was up. We got up and visited for a few minutes. We decided to get a late breakfast and then go swimming. So we went down to the restaurant to have a hearty breakfast. We all had some form of eggs, potatoes, bacon, Mickey waffles, sausage, biscuits and gravy. We picked up our recent purchases at the general store and then headed out to swim. The swimming pool was just right for Rylee, it was only about 18 inches deep. Beth and I hit the hot tub and boy that felt good. We were out there 2 hours and it did not seem like it. We came back in and got ready to go to Hollywood Studios. We had dinner reservation at 5pm at the Hollywood and Vine restaurant. After dinner, we went to see the Osbourn Family lights. It was great ans Rylee loved the lights and music. She did not like the snow falling on her head. We left there and came home as Rylee was tired form swimming and a No Nap day. It was great fun and everyone made it through the day with no more illness.

Another one sick...

We got up and had showers around 8am this morning. We found out that Dawn was now sick, but the Rylee was feeling better. Jo had taken Rylee for a walk earlier and I needed to go mail a birthday card, so Rylee and I walked up to the main lodge. We came back and Rylee started crying that her stomach hurt. So Jo gave her some medicine and they all took a little nap. Beth and I went to EPCOT. We rode a few rides and went to the pin trading place. You could see very dark clouds rolling in, so we found a bench under cover and waited. It was not long before the sky opened up and rain fell hard. It lasted about 20 minutes and then stopped. Dawn, Jo, and Rylee headed over to see us and we made it in time to have a private photo session with Mickey Mouse, Minnie, and Goofy. Rylee loved the characters and had a blast. We then went to ride Finding Nemo. It was Rylee's first Disney ride. The line was pretty short short and she was slowing walking in taking in everything, Jo finally had to carry her. We got on the ride and Rylee sat with her parents. She liked all the fish and colorful features. She was not to thrilled with the dark parts, so all rife with dark parts are out. So we then went to check in for dinner and got seated about 5 minutes later. Rylee got to see Mickey, Chip, Dale, and Pluto. She loved them all and they loved her. Dawn, Jo, and Rylee left and went back to the room. Jo was not feeling well and might be getting what the rest of her family has. Beth and I went over to Magic Kingdom and rode the Haunted Mansion and loved it. We were able to get out of there before the parade started. We are dead tired and glad to be home.

Rylee not feeling well....

We woke up this morning, had showers, and dressed. Dawn said that Rylee and Jo were still sleeping and that they would not be going to breakfast. Since Beth and I were already dressed, we went ahead and had breakfast. When we got back to the room, we discovered that Rylee was not feeling well and had thrown up a couple of times. She had some juice and up it came. So we decided to just take it easy and stay home today. Beth and I went to downtown Disney and did some shopping. We picked up sandwiches and came back to the room around 3pm. Rylee was taking a nap and had kept here breakfast down, which was a good sign. Dawn and Jo went over to Magic Kingdom to do some shopping and walk around. Rylee woke up around 6pm and felt a lot better. We decided to get some snacks and water the water show. Rylee was glad to get out and round around a bit. She seems to be doing better and we are hoping the worst is over. We are going to EPCOT tomorrow and it should be a fun time. Today's picture is of Rylee with her birthday cupcake. She was so cute blowing out the candles.

Great day to see Pooh...

We got up around 6am this morning and headed for the boat to take us to Magic Kingdom. We had reservations at the crystal palace to see Pooh and friends for breakfast. What we did not know was the boat we needed did not start running until 8:30 and we had 8:20 reservations. So we finally made it to crystal place at 9:15, but they were able to get us in with a 5 minute wait. Not bad. So we sat down and Pooh and Tigger were just starting to visit the tables, but we were the last table for the visit. So we got some food and waited for them to come around. When they finally made it, Rylee was so excited to see each one. She gave them all big hugs and smiles. It was worth the trip. We left there and headed to see Mickey Mouse. The line had a wait time of 25 minutes. So Aunt Beth and I stood in line and Dawn and Jo took Rylee for a walk until the line got shorter. She was so excited to see Mickey and Minnie Mouse. We left there and went to take the train for a ride. She had a blast. We then went to sit on the park bench while Dawn and Jo did a little shopping. We were able to see Daisy Duck, Pluto, and Pinocchio. What a blast. We took the boat back to the resort and picked up lunch. We took it back to the room to eat. Rylee then went down for a nap. She was not happy about it and it took a while, but she finally gave in and went to sleep. Beth and Jo also to naps, while Dawn and I watched some football. We left around 6pm and went back to Downtown Disney. We did a little shopping and Rylee loved the music they had there. She as dancing and having a good old time. We headed back to the room around 9:30pm and were ready for bed. We are having breakfast in our resort and then headed to Animal Kingdom tomorrow.

We made it...

What a ride it was. Dawn and Jo picked up up around 7:45am yesterday morning. As we were loading the car, we noticed smoke coming from the engine and saw fluid leaking. So off to the dealership we went. It was a leaking coolant value and could be fixed. So 2 hours later, we were finally on the road. We made good time and really only hit traffic once. We made it to Savanna Georgia around 11:30pm. We got a hotel room and hit the hay. Rylee was a super trooper on the car ride down. We were on the road by 8:45am this morning. Rylee slept most of the way and as we pulled into the lodge she was wide awake and smiling at all the mickey stuff. Beth and I took Rylee and got checked it. Jo and Dawn to care of getting the car unloaded with the bell hop. Rylee's eyes were so big when she saw the big Christmas tree in the lobby. Aunt Beth took here around the lobby, while I checked us in. Rylee got a 1st visit and birthday button. Our room was ready and we went to get Dawn and Jo. Rylee could not wait to show them the big tree. We made it to our room and our luggage was right behind us. Rylee was so excited and wanted to take a bath. So Jo put her in the tub and she had a blast. After everyone was ready, we caught the bus and went downtown. Beth and I needed to get annual passes and Rylee and Jo needed pin trading lanyard. We then took the boat over to another resort and then caught the bus to Hollywood Studios. We were having dinner at the 50's prime time cafe. Rylee so realized that using the Mickey harness allowed her more freedom to walk. She was just a little slow as she was tired and was so taken with everything. Beth and Dawn go the sampler plate which was meatloaf, fried chicken, and pot roast. Jo and I got the fried chicken. Rylee had a little everything and enjoyed the meatloaf and chicken the best. We were going to see the Christmas lights, but by now everyone was tired. So we headed back to the resort. Dawn, Jo, and Rylee came back to the room and Beth and I went back to downtown Disney. The had a special on the Ridemaker cars and we want to take advantage. It is a place where you can choose you own body and accessories for remote controlled cars. We made then when we were in Disneyland and had a great time. We then caught the bus back to the resort and are so ready for bed.

Ready for our ride.

I got up around 7:45am this morning. I took a shower and headed out the door around 8:30am. I had a dentist appointment at 9am to check the progress of my surgery and things are good. I set up the appointment to have the other side done on Dec. 6. So I left there and had to go to CVS. I needed to get my prescription for Lipitor filled and it was 5 days early, but they had no problem filling it. I then came home and we had breakfast. Beth finished doing bills and getting some together for her brother. We then headed out and went to the post office, the bank, and then to lunch. It was a rainy, cold, yucky day and is going to be the same tomorrow. Beth dropped off the stuff at her brother's house and came home. We finished getting everything together and loaded the car. We then left to go pick up the dry cleaning and headed to dinner. Jo had to take Rylee to the doctors as she was couching her head off. The doctor said she was getting over a viral infection and the couch was just from drainage and not in her lungs. But now Jo is sick and we are leaving tomorrow for Disney. So we got sandwiches and headed to Dawn's house. I played with Rylee while Dawn and Beth packed up the car. Jo was in bed trying to rest. We came home and did some last minute things. We are hoping to leave around 7:30am tomorrow and hope everyone is feeling better.

Water pipe fixed...

Beth was u and out the door by 8:30am this morning. She had an appointment to get her cut as she was looking shaggy. She was home a little before 10am and her and Gayle left for the ranch. She was going to fix the water pipe that was leaking and get the water back on. I wanted to finish cleaning the house and getting things ready for the trip. They were back home by 2:30pm and the water leak was fixed. I washed all of Buster bedding as he had a grooming appointment at 4pm. After we dropped him off, we went to the Hallmark store to get the 3rd Peanuts character in the set. We came home and I fixed dinner. Beth is getting the pills ready and we will be all packed and ready to go. We are getting excited about the trip and can't wait.

Christmas Lights...

We got up around 7:30am this morning. We left around 8:45am to go see Dr. Bill for much needed adjustments. After our adjustments, we headed to Target for what was to be a few items. I needed to get a few things for the purple box in Disney and then we began JUST shopping. SO when we went to check out we had 5 bags of items. I then went to Giant to get us salads for lunch and then we came home. we had lunch and Beth went out to cut grass, well to mostly mulch the leaves. Afterwards, we put up our new Christmas Lights on the house. We were able to install them on 3 sides of the house. We have never had light on the back side of the house. They made several different flashing displays and look really cool. We will not turn them on until after we come back from Disney. So it was a productive day and only 3 days until we leave for Disney.

Marching Band...

Beth got up and went to church at 8am this morning. I was done with my shower and dressed before she got home. She had stopped by WAWA to get milk, a paper, and breakfast. We ate breakfast and read the paper. We left around 10:20am to go to Hershey for Kyle marching band performance. We got there around 11:45am and watch 2 bands before Kyle's schools performance. It was my first time at a marching performance and it was kinda fun. We did leave right after they finished and went over to the Hershey chocolate factory. Maggie and Payton went with us as they were riding home with us. After paying for all our purchases, we headed home. Payton and Maggie took naps while Beth and I listened to the Eagles game. We dropped Maggie off at her house and Payton came home with us. Maggie was to have a meeting with clients but they cancelled and there was no way of telling Payton he could not come over. So we watched the losing effort of the Eagles ans then watched the Red Zone. We ordered pizza and had a great time. Mags came to pick up Payton and of course he did not want to leave, but knew it was a losing cause to stay overnight. Kyle did great and his school placed 6th out of 14 bands. They wanted to place higher, but did well.

84 hours til we leave for Disney...

It was a good morning to sleep late, but it was 8:30am when the phone rang. So after that it was time to get up. We had breakfast and took showers. I started laundry and we then went to Lowe's to get Christmas lights for the outside. These have a hard plastic bulb and will not break when it is cold out and you tap them on the side of the gutter. We then went to Gamestop and then over to see Maggie. We then stopped at McDonald's for lunch and headed home. I started cleaning the house and continued laundry. Beth needed some quite time, so she went outside to play with her metal detector. She did not find anything, but had a good time. I was able to watch alot of college football today and loved it. We were able to get our clothes packed for the Disney trip. I need to go shopping for the items we need to replace in the purple box. We are going to watch play in the band championship tomorrow at Hersey. Good Luck Kyle.

Another day of running...

We slept in this morning. The week was starting to catch up with us. We had breakfast, showers, and I headed out. I had to go to the cleaners and got gas. I then came home and picked up Beth. We then headed to Vanity Fair. we both needed new jeans and they were having a sale. There were alot of people there and we got what we needed and left. We then headed back to the ranch. We stopped at Red Robin to have lunch and they have good burgers. The day was overcast, windy, and cold. We first checked out the breaker box and found the breaker to the basement had been tripped. So we reset it and then headed to the basement. The lights were working and we got a chance to look around. The area where the water leak was was starting to dry up. We could hear the heater, so w knew it was working. We then loaded up the dough box that Beth wanted and then headed to the barn. We loaded up a couple of the wide boards that were up there. We can use them as a ramp for the back of the truck is needed. We then took inventory of all the wood working items for Frank. He will be up in a few days and needed to know what size truck to get to haul them home. As we were doing the inventory we saw a giant snake skin in the rafters. Well Beth was done by then and we cleared out. We secured everything in the back of the truck and headed home. Of course we stopped at Long John Silvers and picked up chicken again. On the way home, Jeff called to tell Beth that there was a showing at the vineyard house and the furnace upstairs was set to 87 degrees and that it needed to be turned down and he did not know how to do it. So after we got home and had everything unloaded, Beth went up to see what she could see with the furnace. She could not figure it out, so she turned it off. The furnace downstairs was still on, so things should be OK. We had dinner and are not resting. we are hoping to put up the Christmas light on the outside of the house tomorrow it the weather is better.

Taking Rylee to school...

Dawn called us last night and asked if we could take Rylee to school this morning. Jo was suffering for an reaction to her anxiety meds and her mom was taking here to the doctor. So we got up at 6am and headed over to their house around 6:45am. We picked up Rylee and took her to school. She did not want to let go of me until her teacher asked her is she wanted to go for a walk. Then off she went and we were able to leave with no tears. We then headed up to Beth's parents house for a finally mopping of the floors. They are having an open house on Sunday and we wanted to clean the floors before than. We then headed to Beth's dentist appointment. I sat in the car and read. After her appointment, we headed to KOP to the Toys-R-Us store. We started shopping for Christmas and birthday for the kids. We came home around 2pm and had a light lunch. We ordered dinner and took it over to Dawn and Jo's house. Jo had a hair appointment and Dawn was not sure if Jo could drive to it or not. So we went over to either watch Rylee or visit with Dawn and Rylee. We had dinner and then Jo left. She said she needed to make sure she could drive as she had to go to work tomorrow. So we watched the football game until half time and Jo was home. We are not ready for bed as we have another long day tomorrow.

Sore....

We got up around 8:30am this morning. We had to wait for the fog to lift before we could go outside and work. I got dressed and went to Lowe's to get some garden soil and peat moss. I came home and Beth was picking up poop and getting ready to mow. I spread 3 big bags of soil in the bed next to the house and 3 small bags in the bed by the flag pole. I then put the rest of the pots away and set out the Disney Christmas characters. I then went to Home depot to get 5 bags of rubber mulch and 3 more bags of peat moss. I also picked up hotdogs for lunch. Beth was still cutting the grass when I got home, so we just ate the hotdogs outside and continued working. I cut away all the dead stuff int eh flower bed by the male box and spread the 5 bags of rubber mulch by the rose bush. I then moved the outside chairs next to the house and sweep off the back deck. Beth finally finished mowing the front yard and began on the back. Everything was finished except Pooh's corner by 4pm. I came in and took a shower. Beth weeded Pooh's corner and spread the 3 bags of peat moss. She finished around 5:30pm and then took a shower. We went out to dinner since we both were sore and tired. But everything is done outside and the yard looks nice. I want to set up the Christmas countdown clock this week-end. We have one week before we leave for Disney and looking forward to it.

To the Ranch...

We had breakfast and showers, then headed to the ranch. The real estate lady was meeting us there after 1pm to list the property and we were not sure what shape it was in. We first stopped and voted. There were selling hoagie outside, so we got a couple and two waters. It took us about an hour and a half to get to the ranch. Boy were we surprised. The place was full of cob webs and dead bugs. We both knew that it needed to be cleaned before the real estate lady got there. So we ate our hoagies and then went to wal-mart for a few things. We then began cleaning. I took the kitchen and right off the bat I found a snake skin. Not what I wanted to find and Beth was really not happy. So I made as much noise and necessary in hope of scaring it away if it was still in the kitchen. So after about 20 minutes of cleaning and no sign of the snake, it makes you wonder just where it is. Beth vacuumed the rest of the downstairs and then we went upstairs. It was not bad up there, except for the 3 dead mice we found. Again, Beth was not happy and I had to remove them. We had just finished the inside, when the real estate lady arrived. The took some measurements in the house, then we went to the basement. Again not good, as a pipe had sprung a leak and water was spraying all over everything. So we go the water shut off and will have to call a plumber. We then went to the barn and Beth got stung by a warp and again was not happy. The posted the for sale signs and put a lock on the door. We left shortly after 4pm and stopped by Long John Silver's and picked up dinner. We got home and rested for a bit. We had dinner and then had to go get Buster some dog food. We then stopped by DJ and Maggie's house to drop off her water she forgot the other day. We are both really tired and ready for bed. We need to work in the yard tomorrow as it is going to rain and need to get some stuff done before then.

Monday, November 7, 2011

Early Morning...

We got up ar0und 3:45am this morning. We brushed teeth and got dress. We headed over to DJ and Maggie's house to pick There was not much traffic and we had her at the airport by 5:30am. We headed back home and the traffic had pickup. We were back home by 6:13am and we back to bed and slept. I got up around 8:30am and Beth slept until 10am. We had lunch and Beth left to go to her parent's house to finish cleaning. I stayed home and fold the laundry. I had to pick up Kyle and take him to meet DJ at the doctor's office. Beth and I got home around the same time. We had hot roast beef sandwiches for dinner and they were really good. We at going to the ranch tomorrow to see what needs to be removed and clean.

Another football party...

We were up at 8am this morning as we still had alot to do. I took a shower and headed to the grocery store. I picked up breakfast and a paper and headed home. We ate breakfast and I went downstairs to get things in order. Beth took her shower and went to go get beer. She was carrying it down the back steps and dropped a 12 back and broke 8 of the bottles. Needless to say it has not been her week. I baked the mozzarella stick and made the wrapped hotdogs. All the food was ready to go by 1pm. Everyone trailed in and were all here 2pm. It was a great time and there were some great games. The Eagles do not play until tomorrow, so it was a Red Zone day.

A day with Rylee..

We got up around 7:30am this morning and had breakfast and showers. we left around 9:15am to go pick up Rylee. Beth stopped on the way to get gas. We then headed to get Rylee and found Beth forgot to put the gas cap back on and we lost it some where on the road. So we picked up Rylee and stopped at Auto Zone to get a new cap. We then went to Oaks to the Sugarloaf Craft Festival. They had alot of nice items there and Rylee was very good. We then had to stop at BJ's wholesale club for a few items for tomorrow and then headed home. Rylee fell asleep on the way home and slept about a half hour. We then played down stairs until dinner and Beth left for church. We then took Rylee home and visited with Dawn and Jo. Jo got Rylee ready for bed and she began to throw up. We are not sure what caused it, but believe it might have to do with alot of pflum she had or a little bug. But is was really scary and we all felt so sorry for her. She was so tired and all she wanted to do was she. We left to go home around 9:30pm to come home and she had not thrown up for about an hour, so we hope she is doing better.

Round 1 of cleaning...

We got up around 8:30 and had breakfast. We then headed up to Beth's parents house for round 1 of cleaning. The house is now listed on the market, so we needed to get it cleaned inside. So Beth did the floor and I started on the kitchen. Around 2pm, we took a break and had some lunch. We finished the downstairs around 3:30pm and called it a day. We still have the upstairs to do, but it will not take that long. We stopped by DJ and Maggie's house on the way home. Shelia was in town for the week-end and we visited for a while. We then came home and ordered dinner from Giovanni's. Beth's bad is sore tonight and I am hoping it is better tomorrow. We are picking up Rylee around 9:30am and then going to a crafts show. I need to stop at BJ's for some items for the football party on Sunday.

Fixing the tile...

We got up around 8:30am this morning. I fixed ham and cheese biscuits for breakfast and the took a shower. We were going to go to Beth's parents house to clean, but Gayle came over to go with Beth to fix the broken tiles on the kitchen floor. So I took back the mini K-cup machine and got a new one as the one we got did not work. I then went to Target to get a few things, then came home. I cleaned our bathroom as it really needed it and Beth came home around 5:30pm. I fixed her steak for dinner as it was Wednesday and that is her favorite night. Pogo, steak, and ghost hunters is what she looks forward to. I worked on my MP3 player. Some how all of Beth music got copied to my MP3 player. And when I hookup up my MP3 player to my new tower, it tried to download all my music to it. So I had a big mess. So I deleted everything off the MP3 player and started loaded it again. Only took me about 3 hours, but was worth it.

Beth got a new toy...

I stayed up late last night watching the Chiefs beat the Chargers, so we slept in until 9am this morning. We had breakfast and I made out my bills. we went to the mall around noon and had lunch and shopped. We came home around 4pm. I was able to get my new tower up and running, but have to set up several things. So it is a slow process, but just glad to have it running. we had dinner and are watching a little TV. We both made out our Christmas list for my mom as she had asked. We did go shopping at Bed Bath and Beyond and Beth got a mini keurig machine. She is so excited that she will be able to travel with it to Disney and anywhere else.
