Busy day...

We were up and out the door to see Dr. Bill for our adjustments. We came home and had breakfast. I worked on the computer downstairs to try and get it to work, but it is a lost cause. We then took Buster to get his mouth looked and things are fine. We then came home and had lunch. Beth went to cut grass as it is suppose to rain wed and thur. we had a new thing for dinner tonight. We tried the Kraft cheese and bacon chicken. It was really good and will have it a lot more times.

New Church..

We got up around 8am this morning. We took showers and headed out the door by 9:30am. We were early so we sat in the parking lot for 10 minutes and finally went in. We found a seat and then saw a friend of ours We talked for a bit and she sat with us. I would say the church was very spiritual, but I was missing something when we left. So our search is still on. Beth spent the afternoon working on the curio cabinet and cleaning the pool filters. Not sure what I did, but it was not much. We had BLTs for dinner and they were really good.

Forgot...

I forgot to do the blog last night. We both got up around 8:30am. We had breakfast and got dressed. I went to work on some stuff in the yard and Beth worked on the curio cabinet. I put out all the umbrellas and seat cushions around the pool and had to plant the last remaining plotted flower. I was nice and sunny out and the pool was looking good. We came inside for lunch around 1pm. Dawn and Rylee stopped by after their shopping trip to K-mart which is closing. Rylee and I got in the pool for awhile and then then they left to go home. They would be back later as we were cooking hamburgers and hotdogs on the grill for dinner. Beth continues working in the garage and I took the hose and cleaned all the crap out of the cracks around the pool. If we don't do it, then weeds and little trees will start to grow. There always get filler with the dang pine needles. Dawn, Rylee and Jo came back around 5:30pm. We swam for about an hour, then Jo and I fixed dinner. Jo's mom, dad, and 2 nieces stopped by for a visit and the girls went swimming. Everyone left around 8:30pm. Beth and I got dressed as we were meeting the guy bout the fire hall at 10pm. We filled out the paperwork and we are all set for the date and place. We are trying a new church again tomorrow morning.

Making plans..

We were up around 8:30am this morning. We took shower and headed to Reading. I wanted to price out some stuff at the Restaurant store and then we went to the Farmer's market for ribs, and chicken. We came home and had some lunch. Gayle stopped by to get a ladder and then Beth worked in the garage on the cabinet. I was able to get caught up on my shows and go the clothes folded and put away. We had ribs and corn on the cob for dinner. The corn was not that good, so will try some more later. We are putting together plans for the wedding little by little.

Fire hall

We were up around 8am this morning. Buster did well last night and was not in any pain. I started laundry and Beth had to go and prepaid for or oil and then went to pick up DJ from the airport. She got back in time to take Kyle to work, so I did not have to leave the house. I was able to catch up on the Once Upon A Time series which was 12 shows. We had dinner and was suppose to meet Terry from the NORCO firehouse at 8pm. He called at 7:15pm and asked if we could come early. So off we went to see the firehouse hall. It was a really nice place and I think that is what we are going to go with. It gives us a lot of room for everything we need. So after the visit, we started talking about a lot of the plans we need to make and started a list. So far we agree on most things, but it is a process.

Buster has surgery...

Beth was up early and took Buster in for his surgery. I took Kyle to work at 9:45am. we spent the rest of the day doing nothing and waiting to hear about Buster. I picked up Kyle form work at pm and took him home. I stopped at Lowe's and Michael's. They had called about Buster and he could come home after 5pm. So we went to pick him up and found they had to remove his 4 bottom front teeth. The growth was in the front and back of them. So he will be sore for a few days, but should be fine after that. He just needs to rest the next couple days and eat soft food.

Early morning...

We were up and out the door by 7:15am. We picked up DJ and took her to the airport. We took a different route to KOP and went to the container store. I had a $15 dollar off coupon. we left there and got some breakfast and then went to BJ's wholesale cub and then can home. I really did nothing the rest of the day. Beth cut the grass as it is suppose to rain tomorrow.

Projects...

I got up around 8:30am and Beth slept til 9:30am. We had some breakfast and went outside to work. I had to clean out the gutter and then went to sand the pictures frames in the garage. Beth was already in the garage working on the curio cabinet. After my sanding was done, I worked on the sidewalk. Some spots needed more sand between the bricks. I hose it all down and added then added sand. I swept it all in cracks and then hose it down. It looks a lot better, so we will see if it lasts. We went swimming for awhile and the water was 86 degrees. we had steak for dinner as it is suppose to rain on Wednesday.

New church..

We were up around 7:30am and had showers. We left around 9:15am to check out a new church. It was an Episcopal church. Well I was done with it in the first 15 minutes, but Beth enjoyed it. It was too much like the Catholic church. So we then went to Friendly's and had breakfast. we stopped at Lowe's and came home. Dawn and Rylee came down to go swimming and the water was really nice and warm. The sun went behind some clouds and never came out again. The left around 4pm and we made burgers for dinner and ate outside. We are trying a different church next week.

Baby home

We both got up around 8:30am. Beth took a shower and went to pick up her baby, her car. The found that when they put the back bumper on, they cracked the paint. So it will go back in for them to fix in July, but at least it is home. We left around 2pm to go to a wedding reception cookout for one of Beth cousin's daughter. It was a nice day out and it was under cover. We left there around 5:30pm and came home. We took Rylee's bike back to her around 7pm and visited for a while. We are trying a new church tomorrow, so we will see how that goes.

Dance recital...

We both got up around 8:30am this morning. I took a shower and Beth headed out to do yard work. I left around 10:45am to go pick up Rylee from school. She had her first dance recital tonight and Dawn and Jo wanted her to take a nap. We stopped at the store for a few things and came home. She wanted to color a little bit and then we had lunch. Beth went back out to mow the front yard and Rylee and I went to take a nap. She was not at all happy about it and found every trick in the book to fight the sleep monster, but finally gave in. She was a sleep by 2pm and slept until 4pm, The pizza delivery guy work her up, but it was time to get up anyway. Dawn and Jo were here, so we all had dinner, Jo did her hair and makeup and then she got dressed. Rylee had to be there by 6pm and got there at 6:15pm. It was a really enjoyable show and Rylee did better tonight than in rehearsal. The show was finally over around 10:30pm and we made our way home. Beth gets to pick up her car tomorrow and will be happy to have it back.

Cleaning...

I got up around 8am and Beth got up at 9am. It had rained most of the night with some thunder and lighting. We had breakfast and went to work in the garage. She is working on the curio cabinet and hoping to have it done when we go to Florida in July. I cleaned the house and boy did it need it. I also did 4 loads of laundry. We meat Dawn and Rylee at Chili's for dinner. We then went to Best Buy and Wal-mart before coming home. It did rain most of the morning, but it was a light misty type rain and was done by 3pm.

Shopping...

Again we did not get up until 9am this morning. we took showers and had breakfast. We left to go to Reading to do some shopping at Kohl's, Barnes and Noble, and lunch at chipotle's. We then went and got some more tomatoes at the farmer's stand. They have a really good flavor and are so juicy. We came home around 3pm and watched the rest of the Phillies game. The have 3 in a row now and on their way to St. Louis. Beth had steak and I had a hamburger for dinner. We did not get any rain last night, but is suppose to happen tonight. It was a high of 93 today and a little muggy.

Dress Rehersal...

I did not get up until 8:30am and Beth was on the deck having her coffee. We had some breakfast and put on our swim suits. We had to cut the solar cover for the pool and attach it to the reel. It was pretty easy to cut, so the first cut was to just get the general shape and cut away the excess. We then went and cut the rest, so it fit in the pool. We then attached it to the reel. Lynne had dropped off Jojo and we all went swimming. It was a little cool first getting in but it was 90 degrees out so it would be cool. It was great swimming and I made hotdogs on the grill for lunch. Dawn stopped by with Rylee around 3:30pm and Rylee had some dinner before we left to go to dress rehearsal for dance. Beth and Jojo stayed at the hose as Kim was picking Jojo up around 5pm. I left around 7pm to come home as Rylee's part was done. We had some dinner and I am so ready for bed. It is suppose to rain tomorrow, but still be 90 degrees.

Picture time...

We both were up at 6:30am. We both had showers and I left around 7:15am to head to Dawn and Jo's house. I had to take Rylee for her dance recital pictures. Her and I left around 8:15am and headed to Boyertown, which I know nothing about, and got to the school around 8:40. We found we were in the wrong place and had to drive around to the other side. I got her changed and on stage with 2 minutes to spare. At that point they asked for the pictures envelopes and I had nothing. So I called Dawn and we got one filled out, but I missed her performance. So I went up front with the rest of the mom's and after her pictures, she was free to go. We got loaded up and got 1 block away, and she had to potty bad. So we went back to the school and she went. We finally got home around 10:30am. Beth was home from dropping off her car to be fixed and picked up a rental. Rylee and I went downstairs to play with Legos and Beth took a water sample in. She brought McDonald's home for lunch. We had 2:45pm appointments with Dr. Bill and much needed. We came home and Beth and I were both tired. Dawn picked up Rylee around 5pm. I will go to dress rehearsal tomorrow night as that is the only time you cane take pictures.

Happy Father Day....

I did not get up until 8:45 am this morning. Beth got up late also , but made it to 10:30am mass. She stopped on her way home and got a hoagie and a paper. we had lunch and ready the paper. I went to wash my truck and it was very dirty. Beth worked on the curio cabinet in the garage. We got the solar cover for the pool and put in on the pool. we still have to cut it so it fits, but it holding the heat for some swim time. A big shout out to both of my father's on Father's Day.

Baby shower...

I had a bad night last night. This silly cough I have now kept me up until 2am. I finally got up and played on the computer. Beth went to bed as I was getting up. About 3am, I finally got the cough to settle down and I got 4 hours of sleep. I was back up at 7am hacking my brains out. Rylee called me around 8am and wanted to talk. It was so cute. Beth got up shortly after that. We had breakfast and took showers. We headed to the baby shower around 12:30pm. There were about 30 people there and she got a lot of nice things. She will need them have twins. We came home and Beth cut the grass. I made tacos for dinner and after dinner she finished cutting the front. It was kinda a nice day out. Not too hot or cold and sunny. Hope I sleep better tonight

Movie day...

We got up around 7:30am this morning. Beth took a shower and got ready to leave for a funeral. I took a shower and folded laundry. I felt a lot better today and think the worst is over. I went to Target for a few things and meet Dawn at the movie theater to see Maleficent. It was a good movie and we both thought Rylee would not be scared to see it. We heard it raining outside while we were watching the movie. It had let up a bit while we made our way to the truck. Beth came home about 30 minutes later. The tractor was delivered back home today, so she will be able to use it to cut the grass tomorrow. We have a baby shower to go to tomorrow for Beth's niece. She is have twin, aboy and a girl.

Still not feeling any better...

I woke up around 7am and was not feeling well at all. I took a shower and had some breakfast. I spent most of the day laying on the sofa and sleeping. I did manage to get the laundry done, while Beth entertained Jojo most of the afternoon. I did fix dinner and had it ready when Dawn and Rylee got here. Beth offered several times to do things, but my A type personality would not allow it. Rylee and I watched  most of the Wizard of Oz before she had to leave. I am not ready for bed, but don't expect to sleep that well with a cough. Mom, we got your package today. Thanks!!!!!

Went to the doctor...

I did not sleep well last night as my throat hurt all night. I got up and took a shower and called the doctor's office. They could get me in at 9:50am. So off I went and got right in. she took a culture and said it was red but had no puss pockets. She started me on an antibiotic just in case and said get plenty of rest and not talk. So I came home first and then went to Wal-Mart and on to CVS. I got home and Beth left to go pick up Jojo. She is only doing 1/2 days and spending the afternoons with us today and tomorrow. Kim came to pick her up around 4pm and I made Beth steak for dinner. I had noodles and my throat still hurts with some things.

Not feeling well..

I got up a little before 8am and had a sore throat. Beth was up around 9am and we had breakfast. I took a shower and we went upstairs to get base for our sleep number bed. We will us it for the bed in Florida. I had to fist find the hardware and it had not been seen in 8 years. So I headed downstairs and found it on the first try. we had 4 pieces that we were not sure what they were for, but soon figured it out. So we bundled it all together and set it in the garage. We will have to take the truck down to Florida next trip as it will not fit in the car. My throat never got any better and will have to see how it is tomorrow. The pollen has been bad this year, so I am sure that is part of it.

New bed...

Beth was up and out having coffee on the deck when I got up at 8am. We got dressed and headed outside. It was nice outside and we needed to get some work done. I worked on the back landscaping. I had several bushed that needed to be trimmed of dead twigs and rake up some leaves. I also set the edge around the landscaping. It looks a lot nicer now. I then set the edge on the landscaping around the lamp post and planted the black grass around the lamp post. I then took off the downspout and found it was clogged. I got out what I could by hand and then ran the rat down it. About half way, the rat broke. So that was it for that until I could get a new on. We had some lunch on the back porch and then finished up. Beth worked on the pool, in the garage, and work on replacing the straps on the patio chairs. we took showers and had to leave. I was meeting a lady at the mall for an item I purchase. We when to Kohl's to look at t-shirts for the Disney trip. We did not find any we liked, so off to Lowes' we went. I got a new rat and some paint samples. We came home and I got the downspout unclogged, but still need to work on it. We had dinner and then went to KOP. Sleep number was having a sale and we needed a bed for Florida. so an hour later, we ordered one and it will be delivered in August. I started raining, so no watering tonight.

First swim of the year...

Beth was up and at church by 8am. I got up and took a shower and then went out to water. Beth came home and we had breakfast. Beth called Dawn to see what was going on. Rylee's balloon was stuck on the ceiling in the entryway and they could not get it down. So we went up to help as we had a long pole that would reach. we got the balloon down and visited for awhile. We then headed to the track to watch Kyle race. Payton did not make the mains and stayed with the favorite neighbor Kim. Dawn, Jo, and Rylee came to watch also. Kyle did good for most of his first race, but made a bad move in the end and came in 5th. His second race, he spent most of the time in last place. We left there and came home. I went to the store and Beth cleaned the pool. Dawn, Jo, and Rylee came down to go swimming. It was cold when you first got in and never really got any better. The sun was not out and that did not help. Dawn and Jo did not get in and I don't blame them. After 30 minutes, we were all teeth chattering. So we got out and it was a little warmer. after they left, we came inside and changed. I fixed BLTs for dinner and we had strawberries and whipped cream for dessert. It was a good day.

Racing and Frozen...

I did not get up until almost 9am. Beth had already had her first cup of coffee on the deck. we took showers and headed to the track. The boys were racing in their first dirt track circuit. Kyle did great in his first race and took second, but will automatically be moved to the finals. She was black flagged in his first race on is other car for spinning out, but there are only 5 cars in the race, so he will also move to the finals. Payton finished 3rd, but was not able to make it to the finals. He was racing with a lot of other kids that have been in his class for several years and this is only his 4th race. We is getting better, but just more seat time. We left there and came home. I had another splitting headache, so took a little nap. we went to Dawn and Jo's house for the Frozen party. We had waffles and ice cream for dinner than watched the movie Frozen. The girls sang all the songs and knew all the words. It was so cute. We had a great time today.

Change of meds...

I got up around 7:30am and took a shower. I head to my appointment with my cancer doctor. She upped my meds and wanted to check them in 6 weeks. She wants me to get an ultrasound just as a routine check. I came home and had some breakfast. I saw on the yard sale site that someone was getting rid of items that used in coupon clipping. Beth and I left to go pick up the items. I got 11 bottles of body wash, 3 bottles of shampoo, and 3 bottles of conditioner for $20. we stopped by a produce stand and got strawberries, tomatoes, and a cookie. We have stopped there several times and they have good items. We came home and Beth cut the grass, she had to use DJ's mower as ours is still in the shop. I finished laundry and started dinner. I had to water as it was nice day today.

Beth to the knee doctor...

We were up at 5:30am this morning. We took showers and we were out the door by 6:30am. It was raining and the traffic started backing up early. We made it to the office by 7:30am. they took her right in and did x-rays. Everything with the replacement was fine and looked good. He said the backer's sic on the back of the leg could be caused by the knee making too much fluid. He gave her a cortisone shot and we will see how that does. We stopped and had breakfast and then went to BJ's wholesale club. We were home by 10am and were both really dragging. Not much got done the rest of the day. I made hamburgers and hotdogs on the grill and Dawn and Rylee came by around 5:30pm. Now it is time for bed as I have a cancer doctor appointment at 8:30am. Just a yearly check-up.

Cleaning again...

We got up around 8am this morning. Took showers and had breakfast, before heading out the door. Buster were back to the brace doctor and he is doing good. He had gained muscle mass and putting full weight  on his leg. he said that he could come off it in Sept. We came home and I started cleaning the guest bathroom. Took everything out of the cabinets and got rid of a lot of crap. We have so much more room. Then moved on to the kids cabinet in the living room. I got all but 3 plants planted as it is going to rain tonight. We have to leave around 6:15am. Beth had a knee doctor appointment, as she is having issues with the left knee. I want to continue clean tomorrow when we get home.

Extra dinner..

Beth was up before me and I got up at 8am. I did not go to the gym as, well I did not feel like it. We took shower and headed to Staples, the pool store, the dry cleaners, and the grocery store. We got home and had lunch. we then cleaned the bathroom and Beth vacuumed. I had dinner ready at 5:30pm when Dawn and Rylee got here. Dawn had a meeting and was back around 7pm. We were able to talk Disney stuff and now we are thinking about what to do for her birthday. It is raining but is very muggy out and expect it to be that way tomorrow.

Air on...

We were up and out the door by 8:30am. we had appointments with DR. Bill and then I had to give blood for my doctor's appointment on Friday. We came home Beth worked outside washing her car and cleaning the pool. we had to shut the windows as the air kept coming on and is going to we warm all week. The pool is looking better and might be able to swim this week-end if the temps stay high. I got a lot of the stuff from the shed set out in the flower beds and they look more colorful. Time to start back to the gym tomorrow as my foot and knee are better.

action time...

Beth was up and at church by 8am. I got up and took a shower and when she got home we had breakfast and then took a water sample up to the pools store. The water was a little low in a couple things and they said all the pollen could cause the scummy on the top. We came home and had some lunch. There was an action in Morgantown, so we went to check it out. We were disappointed in the junk that was there. we left and went to Michael's and then stopped by Dawn and Jo's house. Rylee had to read the frozen book to us before we left. She know a lot of the words for a 4 year old. We came home and had leftovers for dinner. It was nice out today and will be tomorrow, but then rain rolls in.
