Projects...

Beth was up early this morning and I of course slept until 8am. It was rainy and gloomy outside and chilly. But a warm spell is on the way. We had breakfast and I took a shower. Beth was tired and her knees were hurting today. I started laundry and then went downstairs. I wanted to try and get Rylee's Disney book done by Easter. Beth worked on her Tree project, so we spent most of the day on separate floors of the house. I fixed a pasta primavera with veggies for dinner and it was really good. Will have to have it more often. We went to Staples and AC Moore after dinner looking for a binder for Beth project. Looks like we will be working on projects for the next several days.

Yard work done...

Beth was up early this morning. I did not get up until 8am. We had breakfast and took showers. The PT lady at 10am for the last time. She was pleased with Beth progress and she was way ahead of schedule. Beth will start going to APEX on Monday. We had lunch and I worked on scrapbooking stuff and Beth worked on the photos she needs to print. Kim and JoJo came by around 3:45pm. Kim was helping Beth with some of the photos. DJ, Kyle, and Payton got here around 5pm. DJ cut the front yard and Kyle did the weed whacking. Kyle started to mow the back yard and slipped all over, so he quit. JoJo and Payton were out back playing and that was bad. They decided to roll rock down the slide onto the pool cover. Maggie caught them and made them pick up what was on the sidewalk and then sit at the table. Oh boy. So everyone left around 8pm. We had eggs and potato for dinner. But thanks to DJ and Kyle the yard work is done.

Blood drawing down to one...

We got up around 8am this morning. We just sat down to breakfast and the phone rang. It was the nurse saying she would be here in 30 minutes. So Beth washed her faced, brushed her teeth, and got dressed. I took a shower and got dressed. The nurse got here and took Beth's blood. Since Beth will be starting APEX on Monday for therapy, the nurse will no longer be needed. The doctor's office called to say she would need to go to QUEST on Monday to have her blood drawn and then she would not need to go anymore. Beth was happy about that. She goes back to the knee doctor on the 9th for a check up. I fixed Beth some lunch around 11:30AM. The lady she did some photo work for and Kim were coming over around noon. I went downstairs to work on the scrapbook and came back up around 2pm fr my lunch. They left we started watching the rest of the Phillies game and then went to pick up Rylee around 4pm. It was kinda cold out today and windy. We are suppose to get rain over the week-end. I made chicken and rice for dinner and Rylee had 3 helping of rice. Guess she liked it.

Doomsday Preppers...

We got up around 7:30am this morning. We had showers and breakfast by 9:45am. The PT lady was here around 9:50am. She is pleased with Beth's progress and her ability to go down the stairs. They took a walk in the yard to gauge her ability to walk on uneven surfaces. After she left, Beth iced and they finished getting all the tax stuff ready to go. We they headed out. It had just started to rain and our first stop was to drop off the magazines at the recycle place. Then it was off to the pack and ship to ship off the taxes. Then we went to Target and finally to the grocery store. We made it back home around 2:45pm and had a late lunch. I fixed steak for dinner and it was an easy dinner with little clean up. I was able to get the steaks cooked before we ran out of propane. I started watching the show Doomsday Preppers. It is about people who are preparing for the end of the world as we know it for several reasons. It is very interesting and makes you think about things.

Tax Time...

We got up around 9am this morning. Did not feel like getting dressed or taking a shower. We did have breakfast and finally around 11am we took showers. We had lunch around 12:30pm and then we went to WAWA to get Mega Million tickets. Hoping we are the lucky winners, but you never know. We had dinner and Beth began working on her taxes. She had to do hers, her dad's before death, and her dad's after death. That was a clue for me to go downstairs and stay out of the way.

Busy day...

We got up around 8am this morning. We had breakfast and took showers. The PT lady was here around 10am. I left around 10:30am to go get my hair cut and colored. I was back home around noon and the nurse was here. After she left, we had lunch. I then went to Micheal's. I was looking for some embellishment for the scrapbook pages. I didn't find anything, so I came home. We left around 2:45pm to go see Dr. Bill and Beth needed an adjustment. After that, we had stop by Jeff's house and drop off some items. We then went to AC Moore to look for embellishment and found a few things. We then came home as Beth had a headache. It was cool and very windy most of the day. I did go back to wearing shorts, as long pants just did not feel right. I have to respray the backyard tomorrow if the wind calms down.

Top 75 again...

Beth was up early to watch church, but fell asleep. I did not get up until 9:15am. I took a shower and went to Dunkin for breakfast. After breakfast, I went downstairs to work on the scrapbook and watch TV. I put a pot of stew on for dinner, since it was a little chilly today. I had to also put on long pants again. Beth was watching QVC and they had the kitchen stuff on and of course we got 2 items. A new little vac u seal for cheeses and some more lock & locks. Gayle brought the car home around 7pm and it again placed in the top 75. I just wish there was a way to see where it placed to see if you did better than last year.

Watching Rylee..

I got up around 9am and went out to spray the backyard for weed, since Kyle mowed it last night. I knew it was suppose to rain , but it was not coming until late afternoon. So after I am all done and have my shower, boom, here comes the rain. Just great. So I might have to spay again on Monday. We left around noon to go to professional pharmacy to get a travel toil seat extension. We were watching Rylee tonight and Beth would need it at their house. We then came home and had pizza for lunch. It was still raining when we left around 6pm to go babysit. Rylee was great to play with and she told me all about Easter. She even sang the Tea Pot song. How cute it that! We made it home around 12:15am and are ready for bed. We are going to the car show tomorrow to see Beth's car.

Frist grass cut of the year...

We were up around 8am this morning. We had showers and breakfast before the PT lady was here at 10am. After she left, Beth took a little nap and I finished the laundry. We had PB&J sandwiches for lunch. I went to pick up Kyle at school as he was coming over to cut the back yard. I can't believe it mid March and we have to cut the grass already. I planted the flower we bought yesterday and the flower bed are so colorful. After Kyle finished the grass, we had pizza for dinner. Kyle and I went downstairs to watch a movie, Immortals. I then took Kyle home and had to finish folding the laundry. It hit 80 degrees today and was nice and sunny. It is only going to be a high next week in the mid 50's. Hope I don't have to go back to wearing long pants.

Flowers already...

We got up around 8am this morning. we had breakfast and the nurse called to say she would be here in 30 minutes. I took a shower and Beth just washed off. After the nurse left, head headed out to do errands. We first went to Home Depot. I needed some spray to kill chick weeds, which has taken over everywhere. And then made the mistake of going outside. They had a few flowers out and of course we had to buy some. The just make everything some colorful. We left there and stopped by home to drop off the flowers and pick up the script for PT for Beth. We then went to Sears to see if they had any deals. I was able to get a new rechargeable battery for my drill and we got a small digital water camera. We figure it will save us buy a cheap one that never takes good pictures and it was 25% off. We then stopped by APEX to get Beth signed up for PT after next week. We then came home and had lunch. I worked downstairs on the scrapbook until it was time to go pick up Rylee. We played outside until mommy D got here and then had dinner of hamburgers and fries. We are both tired and ready for bed.

And so it begins...

I did not sleep well last night at all. It is the start of the allergy season and the coughing has begun. I finally got up around 1am and went to sleep in the chair. I woke around 4pm and went back to bed. We finally got up around 8am as the PT lady was coming at 10am. We had showers and breakfast and then Beth did her exercises. Gayle and her son came over around noon to work on the car some more. I went to pick up Kyle from school at 1:42pm. It is only the middle of March and the grass cutting had begun. The grass was still wet from last night, so we had him weed whack the inside of the fence. He will cut the back yard on Friday and the grass cutting process had begun. Beth is not taking the supervisory well, but will have to learn to have patience and understanding. I took Kyle around 5pm and and Gayle left shortly after that. I fixed Beth steak for dinner as it is Wednesday. I only worked on the scrapbooking for a couple of hours tonight, but it is coming along. I can't believe the weather we are having and don't think I will be wearing long pants for awhile.

Stand up shower...

We got up around 8am this morning. I made breakfast sandwiches, fried egg, hash browns, bacon, and cheese on a roll and put it in the panini press. It was so good. Beth then took her first shower standing up. I moved one of the handles to our bathroom and she use it to steady herself. She did great and looks forward to moving out of the guest bathroom. I then took my shower and we headed to BJ's wholesale club. We did some shopping and Beth did great. She got tired at the end, but what do you expect. We then headed home and had some lunch. I then downstairs to work on the scrapbook until 5pm. Sal came over to visit Beth and said she was doing great. She works as a PTA and sees this all the time. We then had dinner and watched some TV. It was a good day and the weather was great again. Kyle is coming over tomorrow after school to mow ans weed whack the back yard. I think it is going to be a bad summer.

Dr. Bill visit...

We got up around 7:30am this morning. Beth did her usually sponge bath and I took a shower. We headed out the door around 8:30am. Dr. Bill took us to the back to the standing table. It was alot easier for Beth to get on and off and she was in need of adjustment. After my adjustment, we came home and had breakfast. The PT lady got here right at 10am. She did some different exercises with Beth and they practice going up and down about 6 steps to the basement. She left and I ran to the store for some salad for lunch. After lunch I went downstairs to work on Rylee's Disney scrapbook. I love having the printer down there as I cane print off anything I need without coming back upstairs. I think Beth misses me since I an now down there for hours. We never heard anything for the nurse today, so Beth finally called and they sent someone out around 4:30pm. Not sure what the issue was, but her blood was taken and we will get the results tomorrow. After dinner I spent the next 3 hours downstairs again working on the scrapbook. I have to remember to get up every couple of hours as my legs are real sore for sitting that long.

Spring watering...

Beth was up early and watch church on TV. I slept until 9am and was still tired. I made a great breakfast for using 2 frozen waffles, cheese, and bacon. Combine it like a sandwich and put it into the panini press until hot and then dip in maple syrup. Yum Yum. We both took showers and watch some more women's basketballs. Beth was not fell well today. She says nothing hurt, but she is cold all the time. I work on printing all the pictures for Rylee's Disney book and will begin working them tomorrow. We see Dr. Bill in the morning and Beth wants to get out of the house for awhile. The PT lady comes at 10am, so we will see about doing something after that. I watered and feed all the trees and rose bushes today. It is kinda early, but the weather has been so nice, I think we might us skip spring. The are calling for 80 degrees by the end of the week.

Car Show...

We got up around 9am morning. We had breakfast and I took a shower. Gayle came by around noon to work on getting the car ready for the car show next week. I took the opportunity to put away the Disney Christmas statues while the car was out of the garage. Beth took a walk outside and up to the mailbox twice with the cane. She was ready for a rest after that. We watched the NCAA women basketball games most of the afternoon. Dawn and Jo stopped by after dinner to pick up Rylee's stuff they forgot on Thursday and to visit awhile.

Released to cane...

We had to get up at 7:30am this morning. I took a shower and Beth just got dressed. The PT lady came by a little before 9am. She said Beth was doing really well and that she could use the cane without me shadowing her. So she only has to use the walker last at night and first thing in the morning. She said next week may be her last week as Beth is doing really well. If so, she will then go to APEX for strength and range of motion. After she left, I started laundry and then went to the grocery store. We had lunch and then I had to clean out the old car side of the garage. Gayle is coming over tomorrow to get the car ready for a car show. Since it was meatless Friday, we had pizza for dinner. It was raining when we got up this morning and was a little chilly today. But that did not stop me from wearing shorts again. It is hard to go back to wearing jeans when you have been in shorts.

Dinner guests...

We got up around 8am this morning. We had breakfast and I took a shower. We then waited for the nurse to show up. We got a call around noon saying she would be her around 1:30pm. It was a different nurse that showed up around 2:15pm. She was able to take blood from Beth with no problem. I made meatloaf and put in in the fridge for later. I went to pick up Rylee at school as Dawn was coming over after work. Gayle called and has some issue with paypal and needed Beth's help. Rylee and I went outside to play in the driveway. The was a nice day and she love to play outside. Dawn came by around 5:30pm and we went inside to get dinner ready. Gayle stayed and we had meatloaf, noodles, and carrots. Everyone left around 7:30pm and we are watching Swamp people. We have to be up early tomorrow as the PT lady will be here at 9am.

Wednesday, March 14, 2012

Shopping...

Beth was up first as she had to potty. She was awake, so she went into the office to work on some bills. I got up about a hour later. We had breakfast and I got her ready for the shower. I then took my shower and was done when she needed help getting out of the tub. The PT lady came around 10am. She said Beth was doing well and should do the stretching exercises 3 times a day and could walk more. I went to run some errands and got home around noon. I fixed lunch and then we both went to the bank and Lowe's. Beth was able to walk to the front door and then used a cart as her walker. She did really well and I was proud of her. We came home and she iced her knees. It was a really nice and sunny day with temps in the mid 70's. It is going to be that wall all week and even it the high 70's next week. I am afraid to see what summer is going to be if this is spring.

A walk outside...

We got up around 9am this morning. Beth did get up around 7am and went potty all by herself. we had breakfast and I took a shower. I then headed out to do some errands. I had to go to Target, professional pharmacy, and to Lowe's. I was back home around 12:30pm. We had lunch and then Beth took a walk outside. She used the walker to get out the door, but then used the cane to get to the caddy. She used the back of the caddy as her resting spot. She walked to the mailbox using the walker and then down to the shed. I was a little nervous walking in the grass, but she went slow and did good. She then took a trip to the mailbox only using the cane. After a rest, she was ready to go inside. It was a great day with temps in the middle 70's and bright sun shine. I even had on shorts today. I made tacos for dinner and after dinner Beth finished her exercise program. She even did several laps around the circle. She is getting stronger everyday and enjoys the freedom of doing some thing on her own again.

Walking with a cane...

Beth got up on her own this morning, well I had one eye open watching her closely. I got her in she shower and then took mine. I was dress and ready to help her out and get dressed. The PT lady came by and they began walking with a cane. It was really cool to see. I have to shadow her while she is doing it, but boy what progress. She has to use the walker early in the morning and late at night, but she can begin using the cane to do her laps. we had lunch and the nurse came by to take out the staples. Most them came out with no problem. A few really hurt, but she feels better with them gone. So it was a very exciting day and Beth is on the road to getting better.

Buster home...

I got up around 9am this morning and Beth was till sleeping. She finally work up about 3o minutes later. She took her pain pills and stayed in bed until I was done with my shower. She got dressed and went into the office. She wanted to work on the bill and get her desk cleaned off. I went to pick up Buster and bring him home. He was happy to see Beth, but I think he could sense something was wrong. He did not jump up or try to get to her. He just sniffed and laid down. Dawn, Jo, and Rylee came over for dinner. They made spaghetti and meat sauce with meatball and sausage. It was very good and was appreciated. They even brought dessert. Rylee was not so afraid of Beth's knees and even touched her knee. She gave Beth a big hug before leaving. So tomorrow is the big day and Beth's gets her stitches out. I think see will be so happy to have them got and will so much better.

Beth alone...

We got up around 8am this morning. I fixed breakfast and then took a shower. Beth then took a shower and was able to shave here legs for the first time in 2 weeks. I wanted to go to Reading to get ribs for dinner. Beth was really tired and did not want to go.So we decided that she could stay home and sleep and I would go with out here. So I and got rids and a steak at the farmer's market and then went to Chipotle's for lunch for us. I was back home by 1:30pm and she was still sleeping on the couch. We had lunch and Beth did her stretching. Kim and Jojo came by for a visit. They left around 5:30pm and I started dinner. We wanted to bring Buster home today. but with it being so late, we will do it tomorrow. I want him to have enough time to see Beth and get used to her movements before the first night. Payton is now into midget cars racing. He went today for a practice run and loves it.

Another good day...

We both slept until 5am and then went pee. We went back to sleep until 8:30am. I got Beth settled in the living room and took a shower. We had breakfast and Beth did some laps. I went to the grocery store to pick up a few things. The traveling nurse came by around noon and drew blood for Beth did a check over. The redness on her lower is getting which is good. The swelling is going down which in turn increases her range of motion. She left around 1:15pm and we had lunch. The PT lady was here around 3pm. She like the progress Beth was making and had her doing some different stretching exercises on top of the ones she did yesterday. She had Beth do some more laps and then was done for the day. She said Buster was a environmental hazard. How funny. Beth iced again and she said she might be walking with a can by the end of next week. We had pizza for dinner since it was meatless Friday. Beth took a short nap after dinner So today was another good day.

Thursday, March 8, 2012

Busy day...

Well we made it through the first night ok. I only had to get 3 times to help Beth. We learned alot the first day and made changes along the way. We got up around 8am this morning. I got Beth all set up in the living room and then took a shower. I had to go to Target to get Beth some Prilosec and to take back the tub handles that did not work for Beth. Beth called and said the traveling nurse would be at the house around 11am. So I hurried and got everything done, so I could get home in time for her to be there. It took her about a hour and half to get all the information she needed and to check Beth out. She will be back tomorrow to draw blood and again on monday to take out the staples. After she left, Beth took a shower. I am learning that she can do alot of things on her own and I don't have to hover so much. She was able to take a little nap before the physical trainer came at 4pm. She looked at Beth's knees and did her paper work. She then walked Beth through some new exercises and wants her to do them everyday but increase the number by 1 everyday. She finally left around 5:15pm and will be back tomorrow. DJ, Maggie, and the boys came by around 5:30pm and had dinner with us. It was good to visit with them as we have not really seen them in a month. So Beth's first full day home was a busy one and tomorrow will be the same.

Wednesday, March 7, 2012

Beth is home...

I woke up around 7:30am this morning. I took a shower, had breakfast, and waiting for Beth to call. She finally called around 8:45am and said come on down. So out the door I went. I forgot my watch and cell phone, so I guess I was anxious for her to come home. We had to wait about half an hour for the nurse to bring the discharge papers. I went and got the car and the tech wheeled Beth to the car. She was able to get with little help and we were on our way. We stopped at CVS to drop off the 4 prescription she needed and I took her home. She was able to make it in the front door and to the sofa with no rest breaks. I then took her walker away and went and picked up lunch and her meds. After lunch, she rested for about an hour. She then got up and did 3 laps around the kitchen, living room, and hall. After that she took a 2 hour nap. We did her exercises this after and found the bed is too soft and the bolster is to hard. So a few minor adjustments will be needed, but we got through them. We had dinner from Giovanni's tonight to help Kyle' s band. It is now time for bed and I have to find something to put between us, so I do not kick Beth in the knee at night. It should be interesting, but so glad she is home.

Beth coming home...

I was up around 5am this morning, but went back to sleep until 7am. I got up and took a shower and headed to the dentist. The dentist is not my favorite place, but one I must go to every 3 months. After the dentist, I had to go back to professional pharmacy to get a toilet height extender. The only had one that would fix our toilet, so that is better than none. I came home and began installing it and found that I now had to get a new toilet set, as our would not fit. So off to Lowe's I went. After several tries I was able to get the bolts off. It really suck having no hand strength. But finally everything in the bathroom is ready to go. I then had to get Buster's dog food ready. Once again we were out of snack bags, so off to the store I went. So Buster was all ready to go see his girlfriend tonight. I had just enough time to make a sandwich and hit the road. I had to take the caddy today, as Beth wanted to practice getting in and out of it. So I made it done there and we had time to chat about her day and all the things she could do on her own. We headed to the gym around 3pm and we first worked on getting in and out of the car. Beth felt really good about the process. She then took a walk outside while I went to park the car. The PT people took her back to the gym and she did her finally measurements. She was able to get both knees to bend to 90 degrees. We talked about what to expect the next few weeks and got all of our questions answered. So we went back to her room and I packed up all of her stuff she would not need, so we did not have so much to bring home tomorrow. I left around 4:45pm to come home. There was a little rush hour traffic, but not big deal. I fed Buster and took him over to DJ and Maggie's house. I then came home and started on round 2 of getting things ready. I had to remove the rug from under the dining room table. I put a chair by the front door, for Beth to sit in when she comes in from outside. So I think everything is ready for her to come home tomorrow, but I am sure there will be things we will have to work around. It will just be good to have her home. This is the x-ray they took after surgery. You can see the staples in her knee and the darker caps on the end of the bones is what they replaces.

Cleared to come home...

I got up at 8am this morning, but did not want to. I saw Dr. Bill at 9am for a much needed adjustment. Afterward, I went to Wal-mart to get diabetic socks. Her feet will not fit in her sock and they get cold. I then went to Lowe's to get some 1x3 to shore up her side of the bed frame. I then came and talked with Beth. She had a productive morning and will be released on Wednesday. Her after PT was a 2pm, so I left around 12:45pm to go see her. The morning activities had wore her out and she was taking a nap. She had time to pee and then we headed to PT. They went over her exercises and tomorrow we are going to practice getting out of the caddy. With her being release on Wednesday, I have a lot to do at home to get it ready. So I left to go some errands. Gayle and Angie were going to be there between 4pm and 5pm, so she would have time to ice and take a nap. I went to profession pharmacy to get a toilet rail, tub hand rail, a walker carry bag, and a few other things. I came home and I hooked up the hand shower in the guest bathroom. That will be Beth bathroom until she can get around better. I found the toilet rail do not work on out toilet, so we will just use hand rail for now. So I will return it tomorrow and pick up the extended toilet seat to make it 4 inches higher and easier to sit. I then went to Home Depot and got a 4inch pvc pipe. I will have to wrap a towel around it, but it will make a great bolster for doing her exercises. I have to get a piece of peg board for her heel slide exercises. Buster will be going to DJ and Maggie's house for a few day. We will need that time to for Beth to get used to moving around. We should be able to bring him home on the week-end, so I need to get his food ready. Will cut the boards tomorrow after my dentist appointment for the bed, as that should not take long. I am sure there will be more to do after she gets home, but at least she can pee, take a shower, and get into bed. I got to say I an happy she is coming home, but very nervous about it. At least a nurse will be around every other day for then couple of weeks and a PT person will be also. So a lot will be going on at home, but she will home.

Walk with family...

I got up around 8am this morning. I took a shower and headed to Wal-mart. I had to find Beth some shoes should wear, new shorts, and under ware. After my shopping trip, I headed to the store. I had started a load of laundry before I left and it was ready for the dryer when I got home. I talked to Beth and she had PT at 9, OT at 10 and her last PT was at 1pm. So I had to let Dawn know that Beth was having PT at 1pm and not at 3pm. I wanted to get the dog poop picked up as it was all over the yard. I left around noon to go see Beth. We wanted to talk to the PT people about me being clear to help Beth with her trips to the bathroom. I talked with the physical therapist and she told me the things I needed to do and things to look for. Beth did her stretches and they very painful, but she did them. I was approved to help Beth with her trip around, which is good for her since she does not have to wait for a nurse. Dawn, Jo, and Rylee came down for a visit. Rylee was not at all impressed with Aunt Beth's boo boos. She was very afraid of them. Beth finally took off she long sleeve shirt and put it over her knees. I think Beth enjoyed the visit and she even got a hug from Rylee before she left. Beth laid down for a while before dinner came. we just ate in the room tonight as Beth was very tired. After dinner, I gave Beth a sponge bath and put lotion on her legs. She got back in bed and was ready for sleep. I got home around 7:15pm and was ready for a good rest. I am so proud of Beth as I know this part of her PT is very painful, but she is a trooper about it.

Afternoon session not good...

I got up around 8am this morning. I took a shower and had some breakfast. Kyle came over around 11am to do the floors for me. He was a big help and I thank him for doing it. I left around 2pm to go see Beth. Her 3pm session was not good. Her legs are so swollen and tight. They say that is normal, but man oh man. She had to really push to do some of the movements and several times I could see tears, but she did them all. I am so proud of her. We went back to the room and she got into bed and kept her legs up with ice on them. We went down for dinner around 5:15pm. After dinner, I helped her with her shower. She felt better afterwards, but was cold. She is getting a lot better about standing and walking. She could bend one knee to 87 degrees and the other to 90. Her calf is really bothering her and I hope they look at it tomorrow. I have to find some different shoes for her to wear, as she had fat feet now. Kinda reminds me of a little baby fat chubby feet. So I came home and there was a wreck on 422, so I was delayed about 30 minutes getting home. I am tired myself and ready for bed. Dawn said they were going down tomorrow around 1pm. I know Beth will be so happy to see them.

My first PT...

I got up around 8:30am this morning. I wanted to get laundry done before I headed to see Beth. I was able to get the bathrooms cleaned and got together all the stuff Beth wanted. I had some lunch and did up the dishes. I left around 2pm to see Beth. I made it it time to go to her 3pm PT. I was able to see the excises she is doing and how well she is doing them. She was able to climb 6 steps and is able to bend her right leg 92 degrees and her left to 78 degrees. I am hoping to be able to test and then help her with some of the things she needs, so she does not have to call the nurse all the time. She is doing better each day and it is good to see her move along.

Rylee sick...

I got up at 6:45am this morning. I needed to get a shower before Rylee got her. Jo dropped her off around 7:20am. She was not running a fever, which was good. We watched a little TV and played. She ate a little breakfast, but not much. I took her temperature and it was 99.2, so I gave her some Advil. We also did a breathing treatment. We then went downstairs and made a get well card for Beth. Rylee colored and used come Disney stickers on the card. We then came upstairs to change a stinky and had some lunch. Again Rylee was not that interested in eating. So it was nap time. We went to the big bed and got things ready. She is miss wiggly worm, before going to sleep. She slept for an hour and half and then was ready to get up. Dawn came to pick her up around 3pm and I headed to see Beth. It was my first time going to the rehab center. I did really well on only missed one turn. Beth was just getting back from PT and looked tired. We visited a little while and then had dinner in the dining room. Beth can have her meals there and I went to the cafeteria to get mine. I left around 7pm to come home. It was a long day, but had a great time with Rylee and see Beth.
