Productive Day...
I had to get up at 8am this morning. I got a shower and headed over to pick up Kyle. He had his last class this morning. After dropping him off, I went and got a white hot chocolate and a bagel twist for breakfast. After he was done, we came back to the house. Kyle was going to cut the backyard, but the grass was still too wet. So he worked on his project that is due Monday. Beth had to go up to her parent's house and meet her niece. Kyle and I had lunch and he cut the grass. I then took him home and began cleaning our house. Everything had a coating of yellow pollen dust. I also started laundry. We are now back to shorts and t-shirts which makes less loads to wash. Beth was home around 3pm. She had a quick lunch and cut the front yard. It took her until 6:30pm to finish up and we had dinner. Beth is now mopping the floors to remove the rest of the pollen dust. I have to wash my yellow truck tomorrow and make it blue again. We have one week before we leave for KC and are looking forward to it. So I would say it was a productive day. I have to finish planting flowers tomorrow and do some work outside as it is going to be nice.

Happy Birthday Payton...
We were up at 7am this morning. It was kinda chilly out, not like it has been the last several mornings. Maggie dropped off Payton around 7:30am. Today is his 4th birthday and we were taking him shopping. We had cereal for breakfast and then took showers. We left around 10am to go to Toys R Us. We went up and down most of the rows looking at all the toys. His first pick was a giant T-Rex. He is so into Dinosaurs and can't have enough of them. His next choice was a dinosaur that flaps his wings and spits. His last choice was a set of baby dinosaurs with a rock wall and other things. He was so happy and carried the big one around everywhere. We then went to Max and Erma's for lunch. He had mac and cheese and ice cream. He was so tired and fell asleep on the way home. Beth carried him in and put him in bed. He sleep from 1 to 4pm. He got up and played a little while longer, then we had to go to dinner. After dinner we went back to DJ and Maggie's house for cake and ice cream. DJ had made him a dinosaur cake. It was really cute. We had a great day and Happy Birthday to you Payton.

NFL Draft - round 1
We were up at 8am this morning. We were meeting Beth's brother and his wife at their parents house at 10am. We stopped and picked up breakfast on the way. They packed up the things they wanted and we all left around 1pm. It had been raining cats and dogs most of the morning. We then stopped and picked up a quick lunch and headed to Super Wal-mart. I need a few things there and then we headed to CVS to get my prescription. We were finally back home around 4pm. My leg was sore but not as bad as I thought it would be. I fixed chicken for dinner and we settled in to watch the first round of the NFL draft. We also looked at our excursion for the cruise. We agree on some and are totally different on other, but have time to talk about them. So it is off to bed as Payton will be here at 7:30am for his birthday shopping trip.

Tried to help...
It looked like rain today, so Beth headed out to weed whack the back yard. I planted most of the flowers in the bed by the flag pole. After that was done, I got the lawn mower out of the shed to help mow the back yard. The grass was so tall and it was hard to see the dog poop. I did well and only missed 2 piles. So I filled the lawn mower and began cutting the grass. It was still hot and muggy, but there was a breeze. So I mad about 10 passed up and down the hill and had to stop for a break. God am I getting old. Then I started again. Up and down and around the pool. Beth came over and stopped me. I put the wrong gas in the mower, so she put the right in to dilute what I used. So off again. This time going down the hill, my foot slipped and down I went. Twisted ankle and hurt knee and butt. Of course Beth had to laugh once she knew I was fine. At least Buster felt sorry and came to lay by me. So I was done with grass cutting and Beth finished. As least I tried to help. We cut the back just 5 days ago, but the hot weather really made it grow. So I made it in the house and took a shower. It was already 2pm. Beth took her shower and we had a light lunch. I took Kyle to class and after class Beth and I went out for dinner. So now we are waiting for the big rain tomorrow and the grass cutting again on Saturday. Summer is here, but what happened to Spring?

Another hot one...
We woke up around 8am this morning. You could tell it was going to be another hot day already. We had breakfast and I took a shower. Beth went out to weed whack the front yard. I went out and mixed up some weed and grass kill. I wanted to spray it in the rocks by the pool. The grass and weeds were already getting ahead of us and we wanted to stop them. Beth had lunch with a friend of hers, so she took a shower and left around noon. I finished up outside and came in for a break and some lunch. Beth got home around 1:30pm and then we went to the nursery. It was time for flowers in the flower bed area. We will not plant the pots and hanging baskets until we get back from KC. We were back home around 3pm and I went to pick up Kyle. He wanted to trade in some games he had and get another one. So we finished at the mall and I took him to class. I am sure glad there is only 2 more days left. It sure gets hot waiting outside for him. I came home and Beth was about finished cutting the front yard. It was really long and will need to be cut again soon. We have rain in the forecast for Thursday, so we will see if it cools off any. I made some final arrangements to meet people while we are in KC and have one more person to confirm a date. I am looking forward to visiting everyone again.

Hot for us...
It was warm and humid last night. The rain finally stopped by the time we got up this morning. We took showers and had an early lunch. It was sunny and the temperature was climbing. We went over to see the house Dawn and Jo are looking to buy and then went to Lowe's. We needed some solar batteries and Beth needed weed whacking stuff. we then picked up a few plants. I love spring and all the flowers that are out. I might have to make a trip to the nursery tomorrow. I left around 3pm to go pick up Kyle. We wanted to go to Game Stop before going to class. We then headed to class and I waited outside and boy was it HOT. I came home and we had leftovers for dinner, which were just as good as yesterday. We are trying to finalize our plans for our KC trip. We are now watching the Phillies take on the Diamondbacks, so we will see how the series goes.

Happy Easter...
I had a hard time sleeping last night. I think I finally fell asleep around 4:30am this morning. So when Beth's alarm went off at 7am for her to get up and get ready for church, I jump up and hit my alarm button and could not figure out why it would not turn off. So after Beth left, I got up and took my shower. We had breakfast and then headed out the door. We stopped at Dawn and Jo's house to drop off the chicken strips they forgot yesterday and then went to the grave site to leave flowers. We were back home around noon and I started dinner. We decided to eat around 5pm and that worked out great. Dinner was ready and on the table at 4:55pm and it was all very good. It was very warm here today, but there was a chance of rain and the clouds rolled in. The rain started around 6pm and was hard several times. We had lots of thunder also. So Happy Easter to all.

Computer fixed..
We had to get up at 8am this morning. Rylee was being dropped off at 9am and Beth had to be at her parents house at 10am. I had a great time with Rylee today. we chased each other around the house and she pushed the laundry basket around the house. She took a nap around 1pm and Beth came home around 1:30pm. Rylee only slept an hour and a half and was back up and ready to play. Dawn and Jo came by around 4:30 to pick her up and she was not ready to leave. I had to run to the store as I needed sweet potatoes for dinner tomorrow and the stores are closed. I then made dinner and settled in to watch the 10 Commands. I love that movie. Maggie was able to fix my computer and we are not running a full scan again. So things should be back to normal tomorrow.

Easter egg coloring...
We were up at 8am this morning. DJ dropped Kyle off and we had breakfast. Kyle and I then went shopping. I had to go to Target and then the grocery store. We were back home around 11:30am. We then left to go pick up Rylee. She stayed the night at mom mom's house and mom mom was not feeling well. Rylee was so tired that we put her down for a nap at 1pm and she slept until 5pm. She did not get much sleep last night as mom mom had her other 3 granddaughters staying the night. Payton was sick today and was not able to color Easter eggs. Rylee was still tired and wanted nothing to do with the process, but Kyle and Jojo had a good time. Rylee will be come back over tomorrow as Dawn and Jo are going to see the boys and it is suppose to rain.

Spoke to soon...
We got up around 8am this morning. I logged on to my computer and the virus was back. So after breakfast and a shower, Beth began working on it. I went over to pick up Kyle as he was on spring break and I needed his help with some stuff around the house. After I picked him up we went to Lowe's and got 12 bags of mulch and came home. We spread all the much around the tulips and it looked really nice. We then moved the Tiki bar to the pool area and placed all the pots on the wall. We then uncovered all the banana plants and will see if they start to grow. We had lunch and Kyle cut the grass in the back yard and then I had him clean out all the bird feeders. He did a great job today and was a big help to me. And it did not hurt that he got paid for his work. I took him to class and then came home. Beth was using the Dyson vacuum and it does work good, so we will be getting one. She still wants to try out the one Jeff has, as his is the ball type. We then went to the wholesale club and got our ham for Easter and a few other things. Beth replaced all the solar batteries in the light , but we need to get a few more, so it will be off to Lowe;s to get some tomorrow. We are to get rain tomorrow, so I was glad to get alot done outside today. Kyle will be here again tomorrow and we will have Rylee in the afternoon. We should have the rest of the kids tomorrow evening as we will be coloring Easter eggs and having pizza.

Virus...
Beth was up at 7am this morning. Buster had a grooming appointment at 8am. I got up when Beth left and took my shower. When she got back, we had breakfast and left for her parents house. We spent about 3 1/2 hours there today and are making good progress. We then stopped by Dawn and Jo's house to drop off the cozy coup car and picked up their Dyson vacuum cleaner. Beth is just dying to try it out and see how it works. We then stopped by the SPCA and donated the towels, sheets, and pillows from her parent's house. We had 8 trash bags full. We then came home and I put Buster's bedding in the laundry. Beth went to pick him and then we had lunch. I then went to pick Kyle up for class and went to see Dr. Bill for another adjustment. After dropping Kyle off at home, I came home and made dinner. We had chicken kabobs on the grill and they were really good. My computer picked up a virus today some how. I can't say I was really down loading anything when it happened, but it was a pain in the ass. Beth finally ran a full scan and it found it and deleted it. She also found several hundred cookies which is why my machine was running so slow. So now it is running so much better and I hope it stays that way.

Rain Rain go away
It was a great morning to sleep in late and we did. We took showers and had oatmeal for breakfast. Beth was on a mission to get a new phone today, so off she went. She returned about a few hours later with a new phone. She had to leave at 4pm to go take Kyle to class and I had a hair appointment. When I returned, Beth had loaded several apps for her phone and was still playing with it. The rivers are flowing out of the banks and can not hold much more rain. We do get a break tomorrow, but the rain will return for the weekend. I am hoping Kyle and I can get alot done on Thursday and Friday before the rain hits again.

Pool Slide...
We were up at 7:30am this morning. We went to see Dr. Bill for much needed adjustments. I may need to go back Wednesday if mine is not any better. We then came home and the big pool fairy came to tell us about pool slides and what we need. I left to to to the store. I just hate going on the week-ends as there are way too many people there for me. The pool fairy will send us some information but a slide will cost around $3000 or more. So we had lunch and Beth went out to cut the lawn. It looked like it was going to rain all afternoon, but only got a few sprinkles. I had to go pick up Kyle early for class as he forget his key and was sitting on the porch. I made a new recipe for dinner tonight and will not be making it again. It was a beef and potato rissoles. So now Beth is flipping between the 76ers, flyers, and the phillies in hopes one of them will win tonight.

Jojo visit...
We woke up at 8am this morning, but did not get out of bed until 9am. I made waffles for breakfast and Beth headed to church. She even started the laundry before she left. I started cleaning the house and got laundry folded. I then put a brisket in the oven. Beth and Jojo came home around 4pm. They had been shopping at the outlet mall and wanted to show me their purchases. I then headed to Target and the grocery store. We had dinner and took Jojo for ice cream. After that we took Jojo home and I got to meet her cat, Pumpkin. It was a nice day and the sun was shining all day and the rain was gone. And a late Happy Anniversary to my parents. It is 19 years and still going strong.

Birthday Party 2
We woke up around 9:30am this morning. You could tell it was going to rain outside at any time. We took showers and had a quick breakfast. We then headed out to go pick up the little tike's kitchen center from this lady that lives north of us. We found the place and no one was home, so we loaded up the kitchen center and headed to Beth's parents house. It was really starting to rain hard by now. We spent a couple of hours taking everything out from under the stairs and everything out of the cabinets in the garage. We also packed up all the Christmas stuff in the house. We then left and went to Dawn and Jo's house to drop the kitchen cent and visit for awhile. We then headed home and by now it was raining hard and the wind was blowing. We left around 8pm to go to Wendi's birthday party. It was a lot of fun and great to see everyone.

Birthday Party...
We both slept in this morning since it was a late night last night. I took a shower in hopes it would loosen my back up, but it did not work. We had breakfast and went to Bj's wholesale club. We needed everything this trip, so it took a while. We then stopped and got some pizza slices for lunch. We then headed over to Dawn and Jo's house. Jo's 40th birthday is Sunday, so Dawn had a party for Jo tonight. We had a great time.

R-Phils Game...
I did not sleep well again last night and was up at 8am this morning, Beth slept a little later. We had breakfast and showers and did nothing the rest of the day. The sun was shining and the temperature was in the low 60's. We headed to the R-Phils games around 2pm. We wanted to make sure we got the second Ryan Howard bobble head. The gates opened at 4pm, but you could not get to your seat until 5pm. So we had a soda and popcorn while we waited. We finally made it to our seats and then had dinner and waited until first pitch at 7pm. It was a long afternoon and the game had not even started. We left in at the bottom of the 5th and it was no score, but at least we got our bobble heads.

Working Again...
I had a hard time sleeping last night and only managed about 3 hours which were from 6 to 9 am. Beth was already up and had coffee. I made breakfast burritos. I wanted to change sheets on the bed and get rid of the flannel since it was not getting that cold any more. So I striped the bed and started laundry. I wanted to see if I had any luck trying to get the ereader working again. So I played with it and read some more things people had to say. I tried to put in my Barnes and Noble account and it took it this time. So I down loaded the books I had trouble with and they are now working. Not sure what the issue is, but things are good and I am glad. I finally took a shower around noon and Beth went to go do some things around 1pm. She was back around 2:30pm and someone is coming to look at our pool on Monday. We want a solar cover for it and need ideas for the leaking fountain, so we will see what they say. She had an appointment to see DR. Bill at 3:30pm as her neck is really sore. I left around 4pm to go take Kyle to class. It was a rainy cold day and it can stop and be spring any time. We have tickets for the R-Phils game tomorrow and are hoping for dry weather.

Ereader down...
We got up at 8:30am this morning. We took showers and then headed over to see Dawn. We were going to Reading Terminal Market in Philly. We got about half way there and the rain was coming down so hard that we did not go and instead went shopping in KOP. We had lunch at the Cheesecake factory. Dawn had never been before, so we thought it would be a good treat. We headed back home around 3:30pm and picked up Rylee on the way home. She was so cute in her little rain coat. we played with her until 5pm and then came home. We had leftovers from lunch for dinner. I have been having problems with my ereader. I loaded some books that I purchased and could not read several of them. I tried everything I knew to do and no luck. So I logged on the the pan digital help desk. We tried a couple of things and nothing worked. So we did a factory reset and now I can not enter my Barnes and Noble account to upload my book. so I may have to send it back for service. So we will see, but I miss reading.

First grass cutting of the year...
I slept until 9am this morning. I guess I was really tired. Beth was already up and had breakfast and coffee. I jumped into the shower and then had breakfast. It was already starting to get warm outside. We have been having problems with our Internet the past 6 weeks or so. It will just drop the connection for some reason. So Beth called and they sent someone out to look at it. After 45 minutes they determined it was a problem at the pole and they would send someone else out to look at the line. Great so no resolution of the problem. So it was on to the yard. We had to pick up all the tree branches first and toss them into the woods. After that, I wanted to install the FM transmitter for the Sirius radio in my truck. Beth printed the instructions on how to remove the radio and it looked simple. So I started taking it apart and it was simple. I got it installed and it now sound great. So I left to go pick up Kyle for class and Beth began cutting the grass. We had Kyle's 24 hour review and found out the center is shutting down on April 30. So we now have to figure out how to get all his hours in by the end of the month. So I came home and Beth had the riding down and only had the back yard to finish cutting. She finished up around 7pm and I fixed dinner. It got up to 85 degrees today and was a great day, but it will only be 62 tomorrow and raining. We are going with Dawn tomorrow to Philly to go to the Reading Terminal Market. It should be fun and exciting.

Yard work...
After Beth returned from church, we had breakfast and read the paper. We then went to the pool store as they had chemicals on sale and today was the last day. After leaving the pool store, we stopped by Jake's flee market. Dawn was looking for a cozy car for Rylee and we wanted to check it out. We were able to find one and a push tricycle for our house. We then came home and had lunch. Then it was time to work on the pipe. Beth got a coupling for the pipe and it worked like a charm. We then filled the hole with gravel and dirt and it was good to go. Beth started raking the tree limbs out of the yard as she needs to mow tomorrow. It was a really nice day out and we wore shorts and t-shirts. We found a spot to put in some raised vegetable beds and will work on that the next few weeks. I fixed burgers on the grill and boy were they good. It is suppose to get to 87 degrees tomorrow, so it will be shorts weather again.

Gutter Fixed...
We were up around 8am this morning. We had breakfast and Beth went to go transfer the caddy into her name. After she came home, we had lunch and decided to work outside Beth went to Lowe's to get some new gloves and I pulled weeds in the flower bed and sprayed the trees. I then began working on the gutter. The last several times we had a hard rain, the water washed down the flower bed and onto the deck. So when Beth returned I had the down spout off and was cleaning out the hole. We found that it was clogged next to the sidewalk. So we started digging a hole and found the problem. It was a six inch section that was busted and clogged. We were able dig out the section and ran a hose up the pipe and cleaned it out. I went to Lowe's to get a 10 foot section of 2 inch pipe and ran it up past the broken section. We stopped for the day and had to get cleaned up and head over to Dawn and Jo's house. We were having dinner with them and visiting with Rylee. It was a nice day out today and tomorrow should be even better.

Rainy Friday...
It was nice sleeping weather this morning. I slept until 8am and would have been longer except Buster rang the bell to go out. So I let him out and went back to bed knowing he would want in soon and he did. I was able to sleep about a hour hour more and then we both got up. We took showers and had a lite breakfast. Dawn came by at 11am and we went to go look at a couple of houses with her. They both had good and bad points, so they will keep on looking. We came back to the house and it was still raining. I fixed waffles and ice cream for lunch and boy was it good. Dawn had to go back to work as today was her last day of driving a bus. She will have a week or two off before starting her new job. I am hoping she will take us to Philly one day to the Reading Terminal Market. It looks very interesting and I have never been there. We took a drive to see Beth's insurance agent so she could get an insurance card for the caddy. She is going tomorrow to put it in her name, so we will be all legal. We then came home and Beth played on the computer and I tried to take a nap. We ordered pizza for dinner and watched it rain all day long.

Safe Trip Home Frank...
Frank left around 8am this morning to go back home. Dawn stopped by the morning to chat with Beth and tell us about a couple of homes she wants to look at tomorrow. After Dawn left, we had showers and did very little again today. Beth and I went to the store for ice cream for tomorrow's lunch of waffles and ice cream. It is still meatless Friday and that sounded good. we came home and had leftovers for lunch. I took Kyle to class at 4pm and Beth took a nap. Just another exciting day in the neighborhood.

Not Much...
Beth and Frank got up around 7:30am. I fixed french toast for breakfast before they left for the funeral. I than took a shower and went to Target. Beth and Frank were back home around 3pm and I left to take Kyle to class at 4pm. It was another rainy cold day and will be for the next couple of days.

Another death...
We got up around 8am this morning. Dawn came by after her morning run to have breakfast with us. I made egg, potato, and sausage wraps. We then chatted until Dawn had to leave around 10am. We finished cleaning the house and had lunch. Beth left to run a couple of errands and was back by 2pm. She had a viewing to go to tonight for her aunt and left around 6pm. Frank got into town around 9pm without his dog. Lucky went running after breakfast and missed the ride. It was another chilly and rainy day. The sun did break the clouds a couple of times, but it did not last long. We decided to go to KC around the 8th of May and come back around the 18th. We are still working out some details, but will be driving back in order to bring more items home.

Warm Monday...
We were up at 7am this morning. We had appointments to see Dr. Bill at 9am. I had to go to the bank and then to the store. We were back home by 10:30am. We had lunch and Beth took the remaining clothes to the goodwill. It was a great day outside. It was sunny and in the mid 70's. I finally folded the laundry and cleaned up the kitchen. Frank is coming in tomorrow night and will be staying with us for a few days.

Nice Day...
we slept until 8:30am this morning. Beth woke up hungry and I bet her she could not take a shower in 15 minutes. If she did I would take her to the cafe and pay for breakfast. Food being a great motivator, she was up to the challenge and beat it. So after my shower we went to breakfast. After breakfast, I dropped her back at home and I went to the store. Beth headed to church and then to the bank. Dawn and Jo dropped off Rylee and they went house shopping. The three of us played outside as it was a really nice day out. Rylee came in around 2 for a nap and went right down. She was asleep for about an hour and 20 minutes. Dawn and Jo finished looking at house and came to pick her up around 4pm. We had a great time and look forward to many more days outside.

Bye Bye Jeep...
I got up at 8am this morning and Beth slept until 10am. We skipped having breakfast since it was late. We had to go and drop off 4 bags of clothing at good will, so we stopped and had lunch. We came home and Beth cleaned out the jeep. We then met her nephew at the tag place so she could sign the title to the jeep. This is the first time in 16 years she has not owned a jeep and is a little sad. We made it back home in time to change and head over to pick up Dawn and Jo. We had a surprise birthday party to go to and I was the designated driver. We had a great time and are so read for bed.

Jojo's Play...
We got up around 8:30am this morning. We had to meet Kim and Lynne in the Home Depot parking lot at 10am. Jojo was in her kindergartner play and parking would be limited, so we rode to the school together. She was acorn 1 in the play. All the kids had talking parts and I am so glad we went. She was nervous at first, but then relaxed and had a good time. We came home for about an hour and then left to go see HOP. It was a great movie and I would see it again. We then went to the outlet mall and bought some more sandwich plates and salad bowls for the kitchen. I seem to run out of them the quickest. We then came back home. Maggie came by to get the truck as they needed a new washer. Dawn stopped by to borrow the waffle maker. We had dinner and then watched a little TV. It was another rainy cold day. You could see a little snow mixed in this morning. Hope this stuff goes away soon.
