Only Rylee...

We were up around 7am this morning and Jo dropped Rylee off around 7:30am. She was a little better this morning and we watched Elmo on the computer, while Jo left. We had cereal for breakfast as you can see from today's photo. Beth and I took showers and then we headed to BJ's wholesale club. Rylee fell asleep in the car, so Beth stayed with her while I did the shopping. I was just checking out, when they came into the store. They went to look at the toys and I took the stuff to the car and came back in. Rylee loves going shopping and looking at all the stuff. So we did some more shopping and Rylee got to walk alot up and down the aisles. We did find a cotton candy machine on clearance and purchased it for the carnival we want to do this year. We had hot dogs for lunch and then came home. It was a nice day out, so we played in the driveway for about 45 minutes. We then came in and tried to take a nap. First Beth tired putting her mat in the tent and they were there for about 45 minutes, but no luck. So they came upstairs and Beth put her in the pack-n-play and after 20 minutes, you could here her calling for you and saying Ouch. So I went in there and she had her feet on the top of the pack-n-play and was singing. So it was a good bet she was not going to sleep. so we came in the living room and watched some TV and played. She ate lots of chicken, grapes, and cheese, before mommy J picked her up. She was not going home and through a fit, but we were used to that cause all the kids do it. We had a great day and she just makes us laugh and smile all day long.

Girl's day...

We were up at 7am and Jo dropped off Rylee at 7:40am this morning. Rylee was not a happy camper when Jo left and cried for a little while. I took my shower and Aunt Beth and Rylee were watching TV. Aunt Beth went to take her shower, so Rylee and I went downstairs. Kim dropped off Jojo and we all had breakfast together. We then went downstairs to play. The girls love playing in the tent and making soup. Around 11:45am, I hear this chant coming from the tent, We want lunch, We want lunch. This went on for a couple of minutes with all there of them chanting. Guess it was time to go fix lunch. So I fixed us all some form of ham and cheese with gold fish. Everyone was hungry and cleaned their plate. I had some cherry limeade mixed with my water and Rylee thought it was soda. She drank alot of it, but did eat all her lunch and more. So then it was time for naps. Rylee wanted to sleep in the big bed, so we tried it. She was like a wiggle worm and had her eyes closed , but could not go to sleep. So she moved to the little bed, the pack-n-play. She just sang and sang and was not going to sleep. Beth and Jojo went to take a nap and we finally got up. We played in the living room until 3:15pm. I put Barney on and Rylee put her head on my knee and went to sleep. Kim picked up Jojo around 4:30pm and Dawn came by around 5pm. Rylee was still sleeping, but woke up about 15 minutes later. They stayed and had pizza with us and Dawn was ready to go home around 7:30pm. Well Rylee was having no part of going home. Dawn said she was leaving and Rylee said good-bye. She finally decided to go home and we will see her again tomorrow, It was a great day having the girls.

Kyle's day...

We were up around 7:30am this morning and seeing Dr. Bill by 9am. I am having problems with my back that is effecting my left something fierce. After setting for a period of time, when I get up I can not put any weight on the left leg and have to hobble every where for about 5 minutes. So Dr. Bill did an adjustment and my have to go back tomorrow as it hurts worse then before I went in. After seeing Dr. Bill, we went to Target to see what after Christmas sales they had and only got a few bows. We then went to the AAA place and made reservation for a Disney cruise for my birthday. We then went to pick up Kyle. We stopped and picked up lunch at Popeye's Chicken. I used to go there often when I lived in KC and missed it. We came home and ate and then Kyle and I watched 3 movies. We saw Cowboys and Aliens, 30 minutes or less, and Super 8. Beth even made us vanilla cokes and popcorn. I took Kyle home around 5:30pm. We did our Christmas with Kim, Lynne, and Jojo tonight. It was a great day. We will have Rylee and Jojo tomorrow.

Kids Week...

We got up at 7am this morning. Maggie dropped off Payton around 7:30am. Payton was hoping we were going on another adventure today, but was alright with staying home. We had cereal for Breakfast and I took a shower. Kim called around 9am and asked if we could watch Jojo today. So she dropped her off around 10:30am. We wanted to go to Echo Hills and pick up a few things. We told the kids that since they wanted an adventure today, we were going to have fish for lunch. They both hated that idea and wanted something different. So we said OK, we would have hot spicy tadpoles and slimy black beans. That was so NOT what they were after. So we told them, if they were good and did not act silly or yell, scream, and listened to what we said, we would go to McDonald's. Well that was more what they were after. So off we go. We picked up the things we needed and left. The kids were really good, so to McDonald's it was for lunch. After lunch we came home and the kids played awhile. Payton went done for a nap around 2pm. Jojo played until Kim came to pick her up around 3:30pm. DJ got here around 4:45pm and Payton was still sleeping. Payton finally got up around 5pm and they left. We had dinner and I am watching some TV and Beth is paying bills. We are getting Kyle tomorrow and are going to watch some movies downstairs.

Day after Christmas...

Beth was up way before me this morning. She had cookies and coffee, so I was off the hook for fixing breakfast. She took the first shower, so that I could clean the shower while I took my shower. Next the bathroom got a good cleaning. I then washed the towels. We then left to go do some errands and shopping. We fist went to the bank as Beth opened a saving account, so we could put money in it every month to pay the school tax. We used to use the money from the sale of the Eagles ticket, but we will not have them this year. We then went to Chick-Fil-A as I had coupons for free sandwiches. You could tell by the traffic out that everyone was out shopping. We then hit AC Moore to see what deals they had. We then went to Bed Bath and beyond. I had a gift card from my mom and wanted to get a Panini press and I had a coupon. We then headed to see Dr. Bill, but found the office floor was flooded and all appointments were cancelled. So we went to Michael's as I also had a girt card there. I need to buy some repositioning adhesive and need additional coupons from friends if they are not using them. Beth went Lowe's as she had gift cards, but could not find anything she wanted to use her gift card for. So we came home and I watched college football til it was time to make supper, which was heating up leftovers. So we are now getting ready to watch the last MNF game for the season. We have Payton tomorrow, so it should be a fun day.

Merry Christmas to all...

Beth was up and at church by 8am this morning. I got up around 8:30 and took a shower. I made cinnamon rolls for breakfast and they were ready around 9:30am. We left and went over to DJ and Maggie's house around 10:30am to have Christmas with the boys. They got lots of nice stuff from Santa and they enjoyed our gifts. We were back home and I had my ham on by noon. We opened our gifts to each other and those from my mom. I then finished making everything for dinner and we ate around 3pm. Everything was great and we will have leftovers for a few days. It was a great day and and I got a lot of nice stuff. So Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night.

1/2 day with Rylee..

We did not get out of bed until 9am this morning. We had breakfast and I took a shower. I then went over and visited with DJ and Payton. They were making cookies for Santa. I left there around 11:45am to come home and get Beth. We headed out to go pick up Rylee from daycare. She was so happy to see us and it was jammie day at daycare and she had on her gingerbread jammies. We stopped by the bank and then came home. She got changed and I asked her if she wanted to go shopping or stay home. I asked the same question different ways and the answer was still the same - stay home and play. So I started the laundry and we went downstairs and played. She wanted to see the snowman inflated and wanted to touch it. So we went outside for a while to see all the things in the yard. Jo stopped by with dinner around 5:30pm. Dawn was sick and stayed home. Since Rylee did not have a nap today, Jo put her in her jammies for the ride home. After they left, I went to Target, GNC, and CVS. We needed to stock pile vitamins. The crowds were not too bad and I sure did not want to be out tomorrow. We are headed out around 3pm tomorrow to go to Beth's brother, Jeff, house for a visit and then on to Jo's parents house. And then home to wait for Santa to come and open presents.

Big Mistake...

We got up around 8:30am this morning. I took a shower and began baking the left over sugar cookie dough. Beth had breakfast and took her shower. She was having lunch with Gayle and Angie and left around 11:30am. I finished the cookies and went to the grocery store. What a big mistake that was. Good thing I only needed a few things and could get the heck out of there. I came home and had some lunch. Beth was home around 1:30pm. We went to the outlet mall as I need a new billfold and found one I liked. We then went to Best Buy and Staples as Beth was looking for a cable for the video recorder. We came home and I fixed dinner and we are watching the last Thursday night football for this season. We are not planning on doing alot tomorrow as we are picking up Rylee from daycare at 1pm. Dawn and Jo have tomorrow off and need to do some stuff, so we get the baby for the afternoon. Here is one of Rylees's Christmas pictures. What a cutie.

Payton's concert...

We got up around 7:30am this morning and headed to Payton's school around 8:45am. Today was his day to have his Christmas concert and her was excited. The kids all had reindeer antlers on and say about 7 songs. We all had cookies and juice afterwards. He did really well and had a great time. We left and went to the cemetery and but Christmas arrangements on the graves of Beth's parents. We then went to Wegman's and did some grocery shopping and had lunch. Lunch was just OK and I would not eat there again. We came home and Beth took a nap. I tried but it never seems to happen. We went over and picked up Jojo around 4:40pm and took her to dinner for her birthday. We then opened presents and she loved her Barbie doll. We came home to watch both Prep and Landing Christmas specials. The wind and rain really picked up, but I wish it was snow.

Kyle's concert...

We were up around 8am this morning. We had breakfast and took showers. Beth left to go take her pillow back as someone had the wrong pillow in the box. They said this was the second time this had happen, so someone got a really nice pillow for a really cheap price. They did not have any more, so they are shipping one to the house. I wanted to clean the kitchen and put everything away. So since it had to be put away, I decided to clean out the cabinets and get a head start on spring cleaning. So 2 hours later, I finished the kitchen and went to finish my Christmas shopping. I stopped at the grocery store to get a few things for Christmas dinner and came home. Beth came home about 20 minutes later. We had Kyle's Christmas concert to go to tonight and he did well. We are going to Payton's Christmas program in the morning and then taking Jojo to dinner for her birthday tomorrow night.

Shopping day...

We were up and out the door to KOP by 9:30am. Beth and I split up and did our own shopping for about a couple of hours. we then went to Toy R Us. I wanted to get the Prep and Landing DVD and they had it in stock. So we left there and went to Jack's Wayback burgers for lunch. We came home and Beth tried to take a nap, but had no luck. We left around 4pm and went to Bed Bath and Beyond. I had several coupons and we both needed new bed pillows. So we found what we hope will be better pillows and came home. We had ribs of dinner and they were really good. We are now watching the football game and I am ready for bed.

We left there and went to Chipotle's and picked me up dinner. We then went to The restaurant store and the farmers market. It was around 4pm, so we came home so Beth could go to church. It had been snowing off and on all day. I fixed Beth a steak for dinner and it was really coming down. After dinner, I went downstairs to watch some football. Only one week until Christmas.

North pole eapress...

We were up around 7am this morning. Maggie got here around 7:15am with Payton. She fixed my computer and off to work she went. Beth took a shower and Payton and I had cereal. We left our house around 9am to go pick up Jojo. We then headed to New Hope, The kids had no idea where were going, so it was a surprise to them when we got to the train station. We picked up our tickets and got in line. It was a little chilly out and the ind was blowing, but we did not have to wait long. We boarded the fist class section and selected our seats. Both kids sat by the window to see out. After being served hot coco and and cookies, we headed down the tracks. It was a 5 mile ride and then the engine unhooked and re hooked to the back. The kids got to see Santa and each got a silver bell to go along with the movie. It was a great time and the kids had fun, so did Beth and I. We then stopped at Olive Garden for lunch. Both kids had a case of the giggles through lunch. We were back home around 3:30pm and the kids played downstairs until their parents came to pick them up. Beth called Dawn and found that Rylee can see Oh Christmas Tree and nobody taught her. We are not sure where she picked it up, but school did not have anything to do with it. She was singing it to her class mate and the teacher were so shocked. The she had to sing it for us on the phone. Oh my gos she was so cute. What a great day it was.

All done...

We were up early this morning as we were seeing Dr. Jill at 9am. We both had adjustments and were on our way. We made a quick stop at Staples and then on to the dentist. I was so glad to get my stitches out and can now brush all of my teeth and not worry about forgetting I had stitches and running the tooth brush over them. We left the dentist office, stopped at McDonald's for lunch, and came home. I had one more package to wrap and we then headed to the pack and ship place with 6 packages to send. We came home and I forgot I have to drop off my prescription at CVS and go to the bank. So out I went again. Dawn came by around 4:30pm to pick up the mugs they had ordered from Disney and to visit for awhile. She left around 5pm and I finished all the cookie tins and cleaned up the dining room and part of the kitchen. I was able to cook dinner tonight and it was a good change of pace from eating out. Beth went downstairs to wrap her presents and I did a little catching up on my TV shows. We have to get up early as Maggie is dropping off Payton. We will be taking Jojo and Payton to the North Pole Express train ride in New Hope tomorrow. It should be fun.

Cookies are done...

We got up around 9am this morning. Beth was mad cause she could not have any cookies for breakfast. I told her as soon as the tin were filled, she could have all she wanted. So we took showers and I had to run and do some errands. After I came back, we had lunch. Beth started making her cookies and I had to ice my sugar cookies. I had to make a run to the store as we needed raisins. My leg had been hurting all day and I knew it was due to my lower back, so I was able to get in to see Dr. Jill for an adjustments at 5:30pm. I came home and Beth was still making cookies, so I had dinner first. After her cookies were done, we traded spaces and she had dinner while I filled the cookie tins. I was able to get the ones that need to be shipped tomorrow filled and then went down stairs to finish the calendar. So we have about another hour worth of work to do tonight and then it is bed time. Beth will be seeing Dr. Jill in the morning for an adjustment and depending on how I am, I might see her again. Then I have a dentist appointment at 10am to get my stitches out and then it is off to the pack and ship to mail the boxes. Hopefully we can rest the remainder of the day.

Round 2 of cookie making...

I got up around 9am this morning and Beth was already up. I took a shower and we had breakfast. It was time to start round 2 of the cookie making process. Beth took a shower and headed up to check on her parent's house. I was able to get in 3 different types of cookies today. Beth came home and brought me some lunch and she had left over pizza. I had to go to Lowe's to get some packing boxes. I was able to get the last tray of cookies done around 5:30pm. I had some chicken thawing out for dinner, but I was to tired to clean the kitchen and cook, so Beth took us out to dinner. After dinner, we went to Michael's as I needed some clear vanilla for my frosting tomorrow. We came home and Beth worked on her Christmas cards and I worked on the calendar until 11:30pm. Tomorrow, Beth will start her cookie process and I will frost mine and make a batch of cake pops. So it will be another busy day.

Round 1 of cookie making...

We got up around 7:30am, took showers, and headed to see Dr. Bill. We were both in need of adjustments. After seeing Dr Bill, we headed to AC Moore and to the grocery store. We were back home around 11am. I started the process of making cookies. I wanted to get at least 3 different types done today. After the first batch, it was break time and we were ready for lunch. Since the oven was hot, I put 2 slices of pizza in for Beth. I heated up some white bean soup. After lunch, Beth went out to run some errands and I continued the cookie process. I finished up around 4pm. I needed to go to Michael's as I did not have any milk chocolate wafers for the cake pops. We dropped off the caddie, so it could be inspected, went to the mall, and then to Michael's. We were back home and ready for dinner. So I fixed us burnt end, backed potatoes, and corn. After dinner, I began coating the cake pops with chocolate. It was a slow process, but it was worth it. Beth them made some peanut butter saltines covered in chocolate. So now it is time to relax and watch MNF.

Busy Sunday...

Beth was up around 7am and took her shower. She was getting dressed when Rylee let us know she was up. Beth went to get her and changed her diaper. She them put her in bed with me and left for church. We watched a little TV, played with the flashlight, and finally slide out of bed to play with buster. We came out to the living room to watch TV until Aunt Beth got home with breakfast. We had donut holes and milk and after breakfast I took a shower. We then went and got the car washed. Rylee was not sure she like the car wash, so I held her hand and she was better. We then went to Michael's to get our mats and they look good. We then came home and played until Jo picked her up around 1pm. I then worked on the calender the rest of the evening. Beth watched the Eagles win, but it was not a pretty game. We are seeing Dr. Bill at 9am and I will spend the rest of the day making cookies.

Rylee spending the night...

We got up around 8:30am this morning. I wanted to get the house cleaned before Rylee got here this afternoon. I started with the living room and worked my way around to the dining room and then the kitchen. Gayle and Angie stopped by to look at my truck. We want to get heated seats for it since it gets so cold in the winter. After they left, I started laundry and we had some lunch. Beth began vacuuming the floors, so I went downstairs to work on the calendar until Rylee go here. Dawn and Jo dropped Rylee off around 4pm. We got to see the pictures she had taken this morning for second birthday and for christmas. They were so cute and will be posted later this week. We ordered pizza and went downstairs to play until the pizza came. After dinner, we put on our coats and walked outside to see the lights. Rylee loved watching the light changes and had to touch the snowman. She was ready to come in as it was so cold outside. We watched night before christmas and she played with buster for a while. She changed into her jammies, had some milk, and was ready for bed. She was out like a light in about 10 minutes. Aunt Beth will stop and get donuts for breakfast on her way home from church. Today's picture is Rylee sleeping with Buster.

Beth off to work again...

Beth was up around 8am this morning and took a shower. I got up and made us breakfast, scrambled egg sandwiches. Kim came to pick her up around 9:30am and they went to take pictures of more trees. I took a shower and headed up to Reading to do some shopping. It must have been pay day, cause there were a ton of people out doing shopping. Why were they not working??? So I got what I needed and stopped by Chipotle's to get my dinner for this evening and Beth some chips. I got home around 3pm and Beth was already home. We left and went to her brother, Jeff, house. After that, we went AC Moore and picked up a few things. Then it was back home for a short rest. I finished the gift jar and tags and had some dinner. Beth printed off the pictures for mom's calendar and off to the scrapbook room I went. I was able to get about a quarter of the work done and expect to do the rest Sunday, during the football game. Rylee will be spending the night with us tomorrow and it should be great fun.

Making gift for Christmas...

I got up around 8am this morning and took a shower. Beth did not get up until 10am. I made waffles for breakfast, but could eat half as my mouth was still sore. I wanted to run to the grocery store and then to Michael's. Beth had finished taking her shower when I arrived back home. I stated make the cake pops to see what they were like before making them for Christmas. I used a butter cake mix and will cover them in chocolate. So a box cake mix will make 69 pops. I put them in the freezer and will coat them tomorrow. I still had a few packages to wrap and did that downstairs. With Rylee coming over on Saturday, I need to move all the wrapping stuff out of the downstairs or she will be in them. We still a chicken in the fridge, so we put it on the rotisserie for dinner. I also began working on the Gifts from the Kitchen. I had 2 different recipe I wanted to make, so of course I started with the hardest. I was able to finish that one right before dinner. After dinner, I started on the other one, but ran out of 2 items, so I will finish them tomorrow. Beth was able to set up the Sugar Town village on the entertainment center and it looks nice. She is going to take more pictures tomorrow of Christmas trees, so she will be leaving around 9:30am.

Cold and Rainy...

Beth was up way before I got out of bed this morning. We took showers and she had breakfast. My mouth was still a little sore, so I skipped breakfast. It was raining and very cold, but no snow. I left around 11am to go do some shopping. I decided to wait a few more days before making cookies. Beth left a little after I did to go drop off the toy we wanted to donate to Rylee's school and go see her brother, Charlie. We had some lunch and then went to Target to get the gift for a 9 year old girl for the Angle tree and Beth's church. I fixed Beth steak for dinner and I had rice.

Dentist Again...

I got up around 8am this morning and took a shower. I had a dentist appointment at 10:30am. I was not looking forward to it. Since I was having surgery, Beth took me. It took about an hour and 15 minutes. I had 15 stitches and a very sore mouth. We headed home and I took 2 pain pills and put an ice pack on my cheek. Beth had lunch and left to do some shopping. I had a little bowl of mashed potatoes and some soup. I was able to fold the clothes and work on Christmas cards. Beth came home around 5:30pm. We had left over pasta for dinner and watched Nightmare before Christmas. I did a little shopping on line for Beth for Christmas. I am hoping to start baking tomorrow, but have to go to the store first.

Gifts all wrapped...

Oh my god, we did not get out of bed until 9:30am this morning. I took a shower and made breakfast. Beth took her shower and we headed to super wally world. I needed to get some shirt boxes and a few other things. Maggie asked us to watch Payton as she had a meeting tonight, so I had to get all the presents wrapped before he got here. So we made it back home around 2pm and has a quick lunch and I started wrapping. Beth was able to get into see Dr. Bill as she back was killing her. She then had to stop by her brother's house to sign some papers. Maggie text to say she was home from the doctor's and had bronchitis and pneumonia and would not be going to her meeting. But Payton was so excited to come over that she still wanted to bring him if it was alright. So Beth went over to get him on her way home, so Maggie did not have to get out again. We went to Giavani's and then came home to play awhile. We took him home around 8pm as he was really tired and we are now watching football. I have dental surgery again tomorrow on the other side of my mouth and will have stitches for 10 days. I am not looking forward to that, but just want to get it over with.

On a roll with Christmas...

Beth was up and at church by 8am. I on the other hand did not want to get up this morning and slept until 9am. I took ans shower and when Beth got home we had breakfast and read the paper. We then decided to do a little shopping before the football games started. Bad idea. There were way too many people for me, so we got a few things and came home. We will go out when the majority of people are working during the day. Beth got a couple of whole chicken and we could only fit one of then in the rotisserie grill. So we finished decorating the downstairs and I want to start wrapping presents. But of course the size of boxes we needed we did not have. So I wrapped what I could and we will go out tomorrow to get the boxes. We had dinner around 6:30pm and boy was it good. We had chicken, stuffing, potatoes, green beans, and cranberry sauce. Yum Yum. We are hoping to be up and on our way by 9am tomorrow. We have some toys to donate to Rylee's school as the kids are too young for them and then we off with the rest of our errands. Today's pictures are of our Christmas decorations outside.

Birthday party for Rylee..

We got up around 8:30am this morning. I took a shower and we had breakfast. Beth took a shower and I went outside to start putting out the outside decorations. Beth came out to help after her shower. We got everything places and then stated the maze of cords and timers. We finally got everything out and hooked up around 2pm. We had some lunch and then got ready to leave. We had to go get gas for the car and had to stop at Wally World to get a prescription for Frank. We then headed to Dawn and Jo's house as Rylee was having her birthday party. She was so excited to open packages and wanted to play with all her toys. She did not have a nap today, so by 8pm she was tired. Everyone started to leave around that time. We got ready to go and Rylee said she was going home with us and would not take no for an answer. So we talked to her mom's and she will be coming home with us next Saturday and staying the night. She was not happy about not going home with us, but it made us feel good that she wanted to come. So Beth dropped me off at home and she went to Wendy's party. I don't have to worry about her drinking as she is still on meds and wants to feel better.

Beth went to work....

Beth got up at 8am this morning. Kim was picking her up around 9am and she was going to work. She had a job taking pictures of the trees they decorated for future use. I got up after she took her shower. We had breakfast together and then she left. I took a shower and headed out. I had to go to the bank and figure out why I was charged a service fee on my account. It turns out I and still following the rules on Missour. Who knew. So to solve the problem, I opened a saving and checking account in PA. I had to keep some money in the old accounts as I had a automatic withdrawal coming out for insurance and may have some other once a years items coming in January. She also refunded the last 2 months of fees that were taken out. But of course this took about 45 minutes to complete. I then went to the mall to do some shopping and then came home. I had to pick up Jojo from school at 3:30pm as Kim and Beth would not be back by then. So I left the house around 3:10pm and got in line with the other parents. Jojo was surprised to see me as she was expecting her mom. On our way home, Beth called and said they were we at Kim's house in 15 minutes, so we just went over there and waited. After picking up Beth, we went to the outlet mall to see the new Disney store. It was OK, but not like being at Disney. So we came home and beanie wienie for dinner. We are both tired and ready for bed, so it won't be long. We have Rylee's birthday party tomorrow and want to be the yard read for Christmas and then Beth and Dawn are going to Wendy's Christmas party tomorrow night. So it will be a busy day tomorrow.

Eagles Suck...

Could the Eagles have looked any worst then they did tonight???? I got up around 8am this morning and Beth slept until 9:30am. We had some breakfast and I took a shower. Beth want to cut the leaves on last time, before taking she shower. We went into the attic and put all the Christmas stuff in the garage and Beth then cut the leaves. I had to run to Lowe's and then to Sears. We got a new blow up this year of Mickey on a merry go round. Beth finished the lawn and came inside. I put up some of the Christmas stuff upstairs and we then went out to dinner. After dinner, we went downstairs to watch the Eagles look bad and lose. We also started decorating the downstairs for Christmas. I am hoping to finish both up and downstairs by Monday.

Dentist and Pictures...

I got up around 7:30am this morning and took a shower. I had a dentist appointment at 9am for a cleaning. It was good news in that things are looking good and I can go see the regular dentist in March, but see them again in June. I still have to have the surgery done on the right side next week, but will be glad to get it over with. I came home and picked up Beth. We went to Michael's to have some art work we got in Disney matted. The process takes so long to get all the infor and we had to come back and take to the person that cuts the mats about a special cut we wanted done. So we left everything there for her to look over and went to the mall. We went to the hallmark store and had lunch. We then went to AC Moore as I had a gift card and wanted to get some stuff for my Christmas baking. We left there and went back to Michael's. The girl we talked too had some concerns about the size of the mat, but after taking about it we were able to work it out. We were not able to get the special cut, but we will live with it. We finally came home around 3pm. Beth was feeling better today and had to work on bills. That is a warning for me to stay out of the office. So I got caught up on my TV shows that we missed while in Disney and then made dinner. I made Capt. Crunch Chicken with rice and carrots. It was really good and will be keeping the recipe. I then went downstairs and put the ornaments on the tree. We would woke on the hearth and fireplace tomorrow. The weather was cold today and I am not sure we even hit the 50's. We turned our outside Christmas light on today and they look good. I hope to get some stuff in the yard tomorrow.

Beth to the doctor...

Beth was up early as she could not sleep. I slept until 8:30am. I was on the computer for awhile and took a shower. Beth came in and said she had a doctor's appointment at 10am and would I take her. That was a sign to me that she was not feeling well at all. So off we went. The doctor said she had a really bad Sinus infection and gave her some antibiotics. I dropped her off at home and went to CVS to get her meds. She took them and went to lay down. Nothing more I could do for her, so I went to the movies to see Breaking Dawn part 1. It was a good movie, but as always with a 2 parter you were left hanging. I then went to BJ's wholesale club for a few things and then came home. Beth was still sleeping, so I let her be. She got up around 5pm and I made her some mashed potatoes for dinner. I then went downstairs and got the Christmas tree up and got out the ornaments. Then a movie came on I wanted to see, so that was the last of putting the tree together. Oh well, there is always tomorrow. I have a dentist appointment at 9am tomorrow, so no sleeping late.

Beth is a little better...

We got up at 7:30am this morning. Beth was feeling a little better and had not pucked in 12 hours. We went to see Dr. Bill, but he was on vacation, so we saw Dr. Jill. We both got our knees adjusted with all the walking we did in Disney. After our adjustments, I dropped Beth back at the house and went to the grocery store. We needed a few things and the deli had some mesquite smoked brisket that was to die for. I was back home around 11am and finished the laundry. Beth was sleeping on the couch and was a little more human. I had some lunch and left for my hair appointment. Deb, my hair dresser, was busy today and I was here second appointment of the day. I came home and Beth wanted some buttered noodles for lunch. I folded all the laundry and put my stuff away. Beth still had to fold her t-shirts and put them away. I am hoping Beth feels better tomorrow as I am going to the movies and then to BJ's wholesale club.

Beth now sick...

We were up at 5:30am this morning. we took showers and went down to breakfast. We left the hotel around 7am and were on the road home. Beth was not feeling well at all. She had a really bad sore throat and an upset stomach. I was just hoping we could get home, before she got worse. We stopped for gas at the Maryland house and it was extremely busy. We were third in line for gas, when the cars ahead of us moved. We finally started pumping our gas and were about done when the car ahead of us left. Right then another car came from nowhere and backed into the spot, which they were not suppose to do, and we were stuck. We said something to them and they just blew us off. Of course they were from out of state, but come on man and wait your turn just like everyone else. So we finally made it home around 12:30pm. We got all the stuff into the and just relaxed. I made us lunch and went downstairs to watch football and Beth was watching something upstairs, but came down and laid on the couch. She got up and went to the bathroom and that was it. She began pucking and had the runs also. Great, she now has what the rest of the group had early this week. I am just hoping I do not get it as I have way to much to do. I sorted the laundry and was able to get 3 loads done tonight, but still have 2 or 3 left for tomorrow. We are seeing Dr. Bill and 9am and I have a hair appointment at 12:30pm. I am hoping to get the Christmas tree up tomorrow and some decorating for Christmas.

Another Issue...

We got up around 5:30am this morning. We had everything packed and called for a bell hop around 6:15am. He had a very big load with all our stuff on the cart and we were not sure it would all fit in the call. But Dawn was very good at packing and we had plenty of room. We had breakfast and started on our way. We made it to Orlando and Dawn noticed the tire pressure dropped fast. So we exited off the highway and found a gas/garage station. Sure enough we had a flat tire. It seems we hit a piece of metal that lodged in the tire. The had a replacement tire in their warehouse that was 20 minutes down the road. So we waited and it finally arrived and was installed. So on our way we went, but again we were behind schedule. Rylee did very good in the car, but again she is not a car sleeper and was very tired and fussy the last 20 miles of the drive. We made it to Petersburg, Virginia. We are hoping to leave around 7am tomorrow and have a 5 hour drive. So hopefully we will not have an issue in the morning.

Rylee was done...

We got up around 8:30am this morning. It was our final day at Disney and we wanted to do some last minute shopping. So we caught the bus and headed downtown. We went to Earl of Sandwich for lunch, then hit a few more shops. I had to go to the Photo pass place as a couple of the magic shots did not turn out as we wanted. We found out why they did not work and they were able to add a couple of things. We left around 2:15pm to come back to the room. Rylee was a little fussy and we hoped she would take a nap before dinner. We caught the boat to the Contemporary for Chef Mickey. Rylee was not happy a dinner, but did love see the characters. After dinner, we took the monorail to Magic Kingdom. I need to check on the magic shot as I was not able to see then on the computer. They said it took take a few days to show up, but they were on file. By this time was not Rylee was not happy at all and was done with everything. We knew it was time to leave and come home. She cried all the way home and was so happy to be able to go to bed. She has been a real trooper this whole week, but today was it for her and she was done.

Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving to all our family and friends. We got up around 6:30am this morning. We had reservation for the Ohana breakfast with Stitch and his friends. Rylee had no problems talking to all the characters and her friend Pluto was there. We left there and caught the bus for Animal Kingdom. We first went to see The Lion King show but go there late and the said it was standing room only. There were able to find 4 seats for us, but there were not together. We were still able to see the show and sit down, so it was all good. We left there and went to catch the safari. The wait time was 50 minutes, so we just got a fast pass and headed to the train. Rylee was able to see a few animals and had her picture take with Rafiki. It was time for our safari, so we took the train back to the depot. Rylee was so tired that she fell asleep and stayed asleep the whole time we were on the ride. We saw so many animals and they were very close to the truck. Poor Rylee woke up after we got off the ride and missed seeing all the animals. We caught the parade and headed back to the room. We stopped off and had dinner in the cafe. We had hamburgers and fries. We were hoping Rylee would take a little longer nap, but she was having no part of that. So we left around 7:30pm to go back to the Magic Kingdom to see the evening parade. Rylee was not sure she liked some of the floats and told them to stay away. She was so tired after the parade, that we came back to the room. It only took her 5 minutes to go down for the night. She had been a real trooper this whole trip. Based on what we have seen from other kids her age, things could be a whole lot worse. Tomorrow is our last day here and we are so sad, but look forward to coming back in February.

A long day...

We got up around 8:30am this morning and Rylee got up around 9am. We decided to head to the Magic Kingdom and spend there afternoon there. Rylee had her picture taken with her holding Tinker Bell. She had been practising the holding pose and did great. We had some hot dogs and fries for lunch and then headed to the It's a Small World ride. The wait was about 25 minutes, but the line moved fast and Rylee did great. She was so amazed at all the colors and characters. We then took a couple more pictures in form of the castle. We then headed over to frontier land to watch the parade. We were able to get a great spot and Rylee loved seeing all the characters and touching hands with them. We then wen to the Country Bear Jamboree. Rylee loved the dsncing and singing bears. It was then time for dinner at the Liberty Tree Tavern for steak, pork, and turkey with all the trimmings. We then went to see the Tiki Bar show and all the colorful talking birds. We were going to ride the Jungle Cruise, but the wait line was 35 minutes. That was too long for a very very tired little girl. She did really well with having no nap today. We headed to the boat and Rylee fell asleep, so we waited for the big boat so we did not have to take her out of the stroller. She woke up when we got to the room, but it did not take long for her to go back to sleep. We have breakfast with Stitch in the morning and will then head to Animal Kingdom. What a great day it was.

Hello Christmas...

Beth and I woke up around 8:30am. We could hear Rylee in the other room with her two year old ' No No NO Mine', so we knew she was up. We got up and visited for a few minutes. We decided to get a late breakfast and then go swimming. So we went down to the restaurant to have a hearty breakfast. We all had some form of eggs, potatoes, bacon, Mickey waffles, sausage, biscuits and gravy. We picked up our recent purchases at the general store and then headed out to swim. The swimming pool was just right for Rylee, it was only about 18 inches deep. Beth and I hit the hot tub and boy that felt good. We were out there 2 hours and it did not seem like it. We came back in and got ready to go to Hollywood Studios. We had dinner reservation at 5pm at the Hollywood and Vine restaurant. After dinner, we went to see the Osbourn Family lights. It was great ans Rylee loved the lights and music. She did not like the snow falling on her head. We left there and came home as Rylee was tired form swimming and a No Nap day. It was great fun and everyone made it through the day with no more illness.

Another one sick...

We got up and had showers around 8am this morning. We found out that Dawn was now sick, but the Rylee was feeling better. Jo had taken Rylee for a walk earlier and I needed to go mail a birthday card, so Rylee and I walked up to the main lodge. We came back and Rylee started crying that her stomach hurt. So Jo gave her some medicine and they all took a little nap. Beth and I went to EPCOT. We rode a few rides and went to the pin trading place. You could see very dark clouds rolling in, so we found a bench under cover and waited. It was not long before the sky opened up and rain fell hard. It lasted about 20 minutes and then stopped. Dawn, Jo, and Rylee headed over to see us and we made it in time to have a private photo session with Mickey Mouse, Minnie, and Goofy. Rylee loved the characters and had a blast. We then went to ride Finding Nemo. It was Rylee's first Disney ride. The line was pretty short short and she was slowing walking in taking in everything, Jo finally had to carry her. We got on the ride and Rylee sat with her parents. She liked all the fish and colorful features. She was not to thrilled with the dark parts, so all rife with dark parts are out. So we then went to check in for dinner and got seated about 5 minutes later. Rylee got to see Mickey, Chip, Dale, and Pluto. She loved them all and they loved her. Dawn, Jo, and Rylee left and went back to the room. Jo was not feeling well and might be getting what the rest of her family has. Beth and I went over to Magic Kingdom and rode the Haunted Mansion and loved it. We were able to get out of there before the parade started. We are dead tired and glad to be home.

Rylee not feeling well....

We woke up this morning, had showers, and dressed. Dawn said that Rylee and Jo were still sleeping and that they would not be going to breakfast. Since Beth and I were already dressed, we went ahead and had breakfast. When we got back to the room, we discovered that Rylee was not feeling well and had thrown up a couple of times. She had some juice and up it came. So we decided to just take it easy and stay home today. Beth and I went to downtown Disney and did some shopping. We picked up sandwiches and came back to the room around 3pm. Rylee was taking a nap and had kept here breakfast down, which was a good sign. Dawn and Jo went over to Magic Kingdom to do some shopping and walk around. Rylee woke up around 6pm and felt a lot better. We decided to get some snacks and water the water show. Rylee was glad to get out and round around a bit. She seems to be doing better and we are hoping the worst is over. We are going to EPCOT tomorrow and it should be a fun time. Today's picture is of Rylee with her birthday cupcake. She was so cute blowing out the candles.

Great day to see Pooh...

We got up around 6am this morning and headed for the boat to take us to Magic Kingdom. We had reservations at the crystal palace to see Pooh and friends for breakfast. What we did not know was the boat we needed did not start running until 8:30 and we had 8:20 reservations. So we finally made it to crystal place at 9:15, but they were able to get us in with a 5 minute wait. Not bad. So we sat down and Pooh and Tigger were just starting to visit the tables, but we were the last table for the visit. So we got some food and waited for them to come around. When they finally made it, Rylee was so excited to see each one. She gave them all big hugs and smiles. It was worth the trip. We left there and headed to see Mickey Mouse. The line had a wait time of 25 minutes. So Aunt Beth and I stood in line and Dawn and Jo took Rylee for a walk until the line got shorter. She was so excited to see Mickey and Minnie Mouse. We left there and went to take the train for a ride. She had a blast. We then went to sit on the park bench while Dawn and Jo did a little shopping. We were able to see Daisy Duck, Pluto, and Pinocchio. What a blast. We took the boat back to the resort and picked up lunch. We took it back to the room to eat. Rylee then went down for a nap. She was not happy about it and it took a while, but she finally gave in and went to sleep. Beth and Jo also to naps, while Dawn and I watched some football. We left around 6pm and went back to Downtown Disney. We did a little shopping and Rylee loved the music they had there. She as dancing and having a good old time. We headed back to the room around 9:30pm and were ready for bed. We are having breakfast in our resort and then headed to Animal Kingdom tomorrow.

We made it...

What a ride it was. Dawn and Jo picked up up around 7:45am yesterday morning. As we were loading the car, we noticed smoke coming from the engine and saw fluid leaking. So off to the dealership we went. It was a leaking coolant value and could be fixed. So 2 hours later, we were finally on the road. We made good time and really only hit traffic once. We made it to Savanna Georgia around 11:30pm. We got a hotel room and hit the hay. Rylee was a super trooper on the car ride down. We were on the road by 8:45am this morning. Rylee slept most of the way and as we pulled into the lodge she was wide awake and smiling at all the mickey stuff. Beth and I took Rylee and got checked it. Jo and Dawn to care of getting the car unloaded with the bell hop. Rylee's eyes were so big when she saw the big Christmas tree in the lobby. Aunt Beth took here around the lobby, while I checked us in. Rylee got a 1st visit and birthday button. Our room was ready and we went to get Dawn and Jo. Rylee could not wait to show them the big tree. We made it to our room and our luggage was right behind us. Rylee was so excited and wanted to take a bath. So Jo put her in the tub and she had a blast. After everyone was ready, we caught the bus and went downtown. Beth and I needed to get annual passes and Rylee and Jo needed pin trading lanyard. We then took the boat over to another resort and then caught the bus to Hollywood Studios. We were having dinner at the 50's prime time cafe. Rylee so realized that using the Mickey harness allowed her more freedom to walk. She was just a little slow as she was tired and was so taken with everything. Beth and Dawn go the sampler plate which was meatloaf, fried chicken, and pot roast. Jo and I got the fried chicken. Rylee had a little everything and enjoyed the meatloaf and chicken the best. We were going to see the Christmas lights, but by now everyone was tired. So we headed back to the resort. Dawn, Jo, and Rylee came back to the room and Beth and I went back to downtown Disney. The had a special on the Ridemaker cars and we want to take advantage. It is a place where you can choose you own body and accessories for remote controlled cars. We made then when we were in Disneyland and had a great time. We then caught the bus back to the resort and are so ready for bed.

Ready for our ride.

I got up around 7:45am this morning. I took a shower and headed out the door around 8:30am. I had a dentist appointment at 9am to check the progress of my surgery and things are good. I set up the appointment to have the other side done on Dec. 6. So I left there and had to go to CVS. I needed to get my prescription for Lipitor filled and it was 5 days early, but they had no problem filling it. I then came home and we had breakfast. Beth finished doing bills and getting some together for her brother. We then headed out and went to the post office, the bank, and then to lunch. It was a rainy, cold, yucky day and is going to be the same tomorrow. Beth dropped off the stuff at her brother's house and came home. We finished getting everything together and loaded the car. We then left to go pick up the dry cleaning and headed to dinner. Jo had to take Rylee to the doctors as she was couching her head off. The doctor said she was getting over a viral infection and the couch was just from drainage and not in her lungs. But now Jo is sick and we are leaving tomorrow for Disney. So we got sandwiches and headed to Dawn's house. I played with Rylee while Dawn and Beth packed up the car. Jo was in bed trying to rest. We came home and did some last minute things. We are hoping to leave around 7:30am tomorrow and hope everyone is feeling better.

Water pipe fixed...

Beth was u and out the door by 8:30am this morning. She had an appointment to get her cut as she was looking shaggy. She was home a little before 10am and her and Gayle left for the ranch. She was going to fix the water pipe that was leaking and get the water back on. I wanted to finish cleaning the house and getting things ready for the trip. They were back home by 2:30pm and the water leak was fixed. I washed all of Buster bedding as he had a grooming appointment at 4pm. After we dropped him off, we went to the Hallmark store to get the 3rd Peanuts character in the set. We came home and I fixed dinner. Beth is getting the pills ready and we will be all packed and ready to go. We are getting excited about the trip and can't wait.

Christmas Lights...

We got up around 7:30am this morning. We left around 8:45am to go see Dr. Bill for much needed adjustments. After our adjustments, we headed to Target for what was to be a few items. I needed to get a few things for the purple box in Disney and then we began JUST shopping. SO when we went to check out we had 5 bags of items. I then went to Giant to get us salads for lunch and then we came home. we had lunch and Beth went out to cut grass, well to mostly mulch the leaves. Afterwards, we put up our new Christmas Lights on the house. We were able to install them on 3 sides of the house. We have never had light on the back side of the house. They made several different flashing displays and look really cool. We will not turn them on until after we come back from Disney. So it was a productive day and only 3 days until we leave for Disney.

Marching Band...

Beth got up and went to church at 8am this morning. I was done with my shower and dressed before she got home. She had stopped by WAWA to get milk, a paper, and breakfast. We ate breakfast and read the paper. We left around 10:20am to go to Hershey for Kyle marching band performance. We got there around 11:45am and watch 2 bands before Kyle's schools performance. It was my first time at a marching performance and it was kinda fun. We did leave right after they finished and went over to the Hershey chocolate factory. Maggie and Payton went with us as they were riding home with us. After paying for all our purchases, we headed home. Payton and Maggie took naps while Beth and I listened to the Eagles game. We dropped Maggie off at her house and Payton came home with us. Maggie was to have a meeting with clients but they cancelled and there was no way of telling Payton he could not come over. So we watched the losing effort of the Eagles ans then watched the Red Zone. We ordered pizza and had a great time. Mags came to pick up Payton and of course he did not want to leave, but knew it was a losing cause to stay overnight. Kyle did great and his school placed 6th out of 14 bands. They wanted to place higher, but did well.

84 hours til we leave for Disney...

It was a good morning to sleep late, but it was 8:30am when the phone rang. So after that it was time to get up. We had breakfast and took showers. I started laundry and we then went to Lowe's to get Christmas lights for the outside. These have a hard plastic bulb and will not break when it is cold out and you tap them on the side of the gutter. We then went to Gamestop and then over to see Maggie. We then stopped at McDonald's for lunch and headed home. I started cleaning the house and continued laundry. Beth needed some quite time, so she went outside to play with her metal detector. She did not find anything, but had a good time. I was able to watch alot of college football today and loved it. We were able to get our clothes packed for the Disney trip. I need to go shopping for the items we need to replace in the purple box. We are going to watch play in the band championship tomorrow at Hersey. Good Luck Kyle.

Another day of running...

We slept in this morning. The week was starting to catch up with us. We had breakfast, showers, and I headed out. I had to go to the cleaners and got gas. I then came home and picked up Beth. We then headed to Vanity Fair. we both needed new jeans and they were having a sale. There were alot of people there and we got what we needed and left. We then headed back to the ranch. We stopped at Red Robin to have lunch and they have good burgers. The day was overcast, windy, and cold. We first checked out the breaker box and found the breaker to the basement had been tripped. So we reset it and then headed to the basement. The lights were working and we got a chance to look around. The area where the water leak was was starting to dry up. We could hear the heater, so w knew it was working. We then loaded up the dough box that Beth wanted and then headed to the barn. We loaded up a couple of the wide boards that were up there. We can use them as a ramp for the back of the truck is needed. We then took inventory of all the wood working items for Frank. He will be up in a few days and needed to know what size truck to get to haul them home. As we were doing the inventory we saw a giant snake skin in the rafters. Well Beth was done by then and we cleared out. We secured everything in the back of the truck and headed home. Of course we stopped at Long John Silvers and picked up chicken again. On the way home, Jeff called to tell Beth that there was a showing at the vineyard house and the furnace upstairs was set to 87 degrees and that it needed to be turned down and he did not know how to do it. So after we got home and had everything unloaded, Beth went up to see what she could see with the furnace. She could not figure it out, so she turned it off. The furnace downstairs was still on, so things should be OK. We had dinner and are not resting. we are hoping to put up the Christmas light on the outside of the house tomorrow it the weather is better.

Taking Rylee to school...

Dawn called us last night and asked if we could take Rylee to school this morning. Jo was suffering for an reaction to her anxiety meds and her mom was taking here to the doctor. So we got up at 6am and headed over to their house around 6:45am. We picked up Rylee and took her to school. She did not want to let go of me until her teacher asked her is she wanted to go for a walk. Then off she went and we were able to leave with no tears. We then headed up to Beth's parents house for a finally mopping of the floors. They are having an open house on Sunday and we wanted to clean the floors before than. We then headed to Beth's dentist appointment. I sat in the car and read. After her appointment, we headed to KOP to the Toys-R-Us store. We started shopping for Christmas and birthday for the kids. We came home around 2pm and had a light lunch. We ordered dinner and took it over to Dawn and Jo's house. Jo had a hair appointment and Dawn was not sure if Jo could drive to it or not. So we went over to either watch Rylee or visit with Dawn and Rylee. We had dinner and then Jo left. She said she needed to make sure she could drive as she had to go to work tomorrow. So we watched the football game until half time and Jo was home. We are not ready for bed as we have another long day tomorrow.

Sore....

We got up around 8:30am this morning. We had to wait for the fog to lift before we could go outside and work. I got dressed and went to Lowe's to get some garden soil and peat moss. I came home and Beth was picking up poop and getting ready to mow. I spread 3 big bags of soil in the bed next to the house and 3 small bags in the bed by the flag pole. I then put the rest of the pots away and set out the Disney Christmas characters. I then went to Home depot to get 5 bags of rubber mulch and 3 more bags of peat moss. I also picked up hotdogs for lunch. Beth was still cutting the grass when I got home, so we just ate the hotdogs outside and continued working. I cut away all the dead stuff int eh flower bed by the male box and spread the 5 bags of rubber mulch by the rose bush. I then moved the outside chairs next to the house and sweep off the back deck. Beth finally finished mowing the front yard and began on the back. Everything was finished except Pooh's corner by 4pm. I came in and took a shower. Beth weeded Pooh's corner and spread the 3 bags of peat moss. She finished around 5:30pm and then took a shower. We went out to dinner since we both were sore and tired. But everything is done outside and the yard looks nice. I want to set up the Christmas countdown clock this week-end. We have one week before we leave for Disney and looking forward to it.

To the Ranch...

We had breakfast and showers, then headed to the ranch. The real estate lady was meeting us there after 1pm to list the property and we were not sure what shape it was in. We first stopped and voted. There were selling hoagie outside, so we got a couple and two waters. It took us about an hour and a half to get to the ranch. Boy were we surprised. The place was full of cob webs and dead bugs. We both knew that it needed to be cleaned before the real estate lady got there. So we ate our hoagies and then went to wal-mart for a few things. We then began cleaning. I took the kitchen and right off the bat I found a snake skin. Not what I wanted to find and Beth was really not happy. So I made as much noise and necessary in hope of scaring it away if it was still in the kitchen. So after about 20 minutes of cleaning and no sign of the snake, it makes you wonder just where it is. Beth vacuumed the rest of the downstairs and then we went upstairs. It was not bad up there, except for the 3 dead mice we found. Again, Beth was not happy and I had to remove them. We had just finished the inside, when the real estate lady arrived. The took some measurements in the house, then we went to the basement. Again not good, as a pipe had sprung a leak and water was spraying all over everything. So we go the water shut off and will have to call a plumber. We then went to the barn and Beth got stung by a warp and again was not happy. The posted the for sale signs and put a lock on the door. We left shortly after 4pm and stopped by Long John Silver's and picked up dinner. We got home and rested for a bit. We had dinner and then had to go get Buster some dog food. We then stopped by DJ and Maggie's house to drop off her water she forgot the other day. We are both really tired and ready for bed. We need to work in the yard tomorrow as it is going to rain and need to get some stuff done before then.

Another football party...

We were up at 8am this morning as we still had alot to do. I took a shower and headed to the grocery store. I picked up breakfast and a paper and headed home. We ate breakfast and I went downstairs to get things in order. Beth took her shower and went to go get beer. She was carrying it down the back steps and dropped a 12 back and broke 8 of the bottles. Needless to say it has not been her week. I baked the mozzarella stick and made the wrapped hotdogs. All the food was ready to go by 1pm. Everyone trailed in and were all here 2pm. It was a great time and there were some great games. The Eagles do not play until tomorrow, so it was a Red Zone day.

A day with Rylee..

We got up around 7:30am this morning and had breakfast and showers. we left around 9:15am to go pick up Rylee. Beth stopped on the way to get gas. We then headed to get Rylee and found Beth forgot to put the gas cap back on and we lost it some where on the road. So we picked up Rylee and stopped at Auto Zone to get a new cap. We then went to Oaks to the Sugarloaf Craft Festival. They had alot of nice items there and Rylee was very good. We then had to stop at BJ's wholesale club for a few items for tomorrow and then headed home. Rylee fell asleep on the way home and slept about a half hour. We then played down stairs until dinner and Beth left for church. We then took Rylee home and visited with Dawn and Jo. Jo got Rylee ready for bed and she began to throw up. We are not sure what caused it, but believe it might have to do with alot of pflum she had or a little bug. But is was really scary and we all felt so sorry for her. She was so tired and all she wanted to do was she. We left to go home around 9:30pm to come home and she had not thrown up for about an hour, so we hope she is doing better.

Round 1 of cleaning...

We got up around 8:30 and had breakfast. We then headed up to Beth's parents house for round 1 of cleaning. The house is now listed on the market, so we needed to get it cleaned inside. So Beth did the floor and I started on the kitchen. Around 2pm, we took a break and had some lunch. We finished the downstairs around 3:30pm and called it a day. We still have the upstairs to do, but it will not take that long. We stopped by DJ and Maggie's house on the way home. Shelia was in town for the week-end and we visited for a while. We then came home and ordered dinner from Giovanni's. Beth's bad is sore tonight and I am hoping it is better tomorrow. We are picking up Rylee around 9:30am and then going to a crafts show. I need to stop at BJ's for some items for the football party on Sunday.

Fixing the tile...

We got up around 8:30am this morning. I fixed ham and cheese biscuits for breakfast and the took a shower. We were going to go to Beth's parents house to clean, but Gayle came over to go with Beth to fix the broken tiles on the kitchen floor. So I took back the mini K-cup machine and got a new one as the one we got did not work. I then went to Target to get a few things, then came home. I cleaned our bathroom as it really needed it and Beth came home around 5:30pm. I fixed her steak for dinner as it was Wednesday and that is her favorite night. Pogo, steak, and ghost hunters is what she looks forward to. I worked on my MP3 player. Some how all of Beth music got copied to my MP3 player. And when I hookup up my MP3 player to my new tower, it tried to download all my music to it. So I had a big mess. So I deleted everything off the MP3 player and started loaded it again. Only took me about 3 hours, but was worth it.

Beth got a new toy...

I stayed up late last night watching the Chiefs beat the Chargers, so we slept in until 9am this morning. We had breakfast and I made out my bills. we went to the mall around noon and had lunch and shopped. We came home around 4pm. I was able to get my new tower up and running, but have to set up several things. So it is a slow process, but just glad to have it running. we had dinner and are watching a little TV. We both made out our Christmas list for my mom as she had asked. We did go shopping at Bed Bath and Beyond and Beth got a mini keurig machine. She is so excited that she will be able to travel with it to Disney and anywhere else.

Happy Halloween...

We were up at 7:30am this morning. We had appointments to see Dr. Bill at 9am and all the staff was all dressed in their Halloween costumes. We left there and went to the bank and to the pack and ship place and then came home. we had left over cupcakes for breakfast and they were good. We then went to GameStop as I had to see what games I had on order for Kyle for Christmas. We then went to AC Moore and to Bed Bath and Beyond. It was still kinda of cold out, so it was time to turn on the heater in the house. Rylee had her Halloween parade at 4:30pm so we went to go see her. She was very cute. we then came home and had dinner. Jojo and Payton came to see us and they were dressed in their costumes. Jojo was a winter princess and Payton was a Power Ranger. Beth thinks because we did not decorate we did not have many kids come by. I think it is just to cold to be out. So we are watching the Chiefs/Chargers game and hoping for a Chiefs win.

Football Halloween Party...

Beth got up and watched the church service on television this morning. We had breakfast and I took a shower. Beth went out and used the little snow blower on the driveway. I made the frosting for the cupcakes and then frosted them. I put the spaghetti on to boil to make the pasta salad and called in an order for 96 wings. Beth came in and took her shower, then went to go pick up the wings. I started making the hot dog mummies and the spooky caterpillar. DJ and family arrived first. Maggie looked at my computer and install a new version of Java. All the food was ready to go at 1pm for kickoff. We had about 15 people here and had a great time. everyone left around 7pm and we are now watching the Eagles play a good game so far againist the Cowboys. We still have snow on the ground and alot of branches everywhere.

OH NO SNOW....

Beth was up at 7am this morning and began cleaning the house. I woke up around 8am and we had breakfast. It looked like it had been raining for awhile, but was starting to turn to snow. About an hour later, it was snowing and snowing hard. We finished cleaning the rest of the house and around 11am, we went to the store. By then, there was about an inch or more of snow already and it was wet and heavy. You could hear the branches breaking in the woods behind us. We wanted to test the caddie in the snow, since this was the first time for us using it. So off to the store we went and it was a mess on the roads. The caddie handles great and we had no problems. We ate lunch and I made cupcakes, apple cider ones. after that, I made Rylee's treats for her Halloween party on Monday. I then boiled some eggs and made deviled eggs with spiders made of black olives on them. They looked pretty cool. The snow came done hard all day long and we have around 6 inches right now. I hate to see how many branches are in the yard tomorrow morning. Our lights went off and on most of the afternoon, but we still have electricity right now. We did fill the bath tub will water for the toilets in case we do lose the electricity. So right now the party is still on for tomorrow, but we will see that the morning holds.
