Counting down...

We had to get up early as Lynne came by to pick up the pictures for Kim. We then went to see Dr. Bill for much needed adjustments after all the yard work. we then stopped by Home depot to get some sand. I needed to add sand to the paves down by the pool pump. I dropped Beth off at home and then I went to Target, GNC, CVS, and to the grocery store. we had lunch and Beth went to PT. I cleaned all the paves and put the sand down and then brushed the pool again. It is getting better, but is still cloudy. I then moved all the pots to the wall so they can be filled after we get home from Disney. I came inside and Beth came home about 10 minutes later. It is suppose to rain tonight and tomorrow, so no more yard work. We had Chinese for dinner and are starting to pack. We are down to single digits days and are looking forward to it.

Happy Birthday Payton...

We slept in this morning and got up around 8am. We had breakfast and Beth took a shower. She then headed to church and then up to her mom and dad's house to check on the weed control. I got dressed and went outside. I finished power washing the pool deck and then brushed down the pool. The yard had lines of dry grass that needed to be racked, so I started on that next. Beth got home and we had come lunch. We both went back outside and she finished racking the yard and I brushed down the pool again. We then decided to check the pool filters and boy were they gross. So we took them out and cleaned them off and that should help the pool. We left around 4pm to go over the DJ and Maggie's house. Today was Payton's 5th birthday and we had pizza for dinner and cake afterwards. He loved the dino crocs we got him. We came home and Beth finished putting the Christmas Tree books together. They will be delivered tomorrow and they turned out great.

Jojo at ice hockey...

We all got up around 7:30am this morning. We had breakfast and Beth took a shower. While I took my shower, Beth and Jojo went outside to play with the remote controlled cars. After my shower, I took mine out and joined them. Kim came by around 9:30am to pick up Jojo. We left around 11am to go see her do hockey drills. Beth said she was cold , but I had on shorts and a sweatshirt and I was comfortable. They did have a heater going, but with all the ice it was tough to stay warm. We left around noon and had some lunch. We then stopped by the mall as we needed a birthday card for Payton. We came home and Beth cut the front yard. I worked on Payton's scrapbook and finished laundry. The pool looked a little better today and you could almost see the bottom.I fixed steak for dinner and baked potatoes for dinner.

Jojo staying over night...

Beth was up around 8am this morning. She had breakfast and left around 8:45am to go get her hair cut. I had some cereal and went out to start power washing the pool wall. I had everything set up and Beth came home, which was a good thing. She started the power washer and I was on my way. It was a little cool out, but the sun was shining.Beth left for PT and I got about 3/4 of the wall done and ran out of gas. So I filled the power washer, but could not get it started. i did not have enough strength to pull the cord fast enough. Just great. So I picked up the dog poop and brushed pool floor. DJ came over to cut the back grass, since Kyle had a bad back. Three pulls and it started and I was off and running again. I finished the wall and started on the pool deck. I got about 1/2 of it done and my hands just gave out. I could not longer hold trigger down. DJ had finished cutting the back and Beth was home. So I came inside and visited a while, but was cold from being wet and so I went and took a shower. Kim dropped off Jojo around 4:30pm. She is staying the night with us and Kim will pick her up around 9:30am in the morning. We are going to watch her hockey practice in the morning. We ordered pizza for dinner and watched Alvin and the Chip mocks. We had a great time.

NFL Draft...

We got up around 9am this morning. It had rained over night, but was just cloudy. The pool guy came today to check the chemicals and clean the filters. He will be back again to do more cleaning later. We had pancakes for breakfast and took showers. Beth began working on the Christmas Tree project and I did the first round of cleaning. I picked up Rylee from school around 4pm and Dawn came by around 4:30pm. We fixed hot dogs and french fries for dinner. Dawn and Rylee left around 7:30pm and we began watching the draft. The Chiefs and Eagles made good picks along with the Cardinals.

Race time...

We got up around 8:30am this morning. We had breakfast and I took a shower. I had several places to go this morning and off I went. I was finally able to go to the bank, then to CVS. Next I went to AC Moore to pick up a couple of things. They did not have the inserts Beth's wanted, so I called to tell her to check at the other AC Moore when she went to deposit her check. I then went to Costco to get a couple of things and compare there prices to BJ's wholesale club. I found for the most part things were the same. Coke is a lot cheaper at Costco, but only a couple of things were higher, but only by a buck. I then stopped at WAWA to get Beth an Italian hoagie and then home of lunch. Beth had worked on the pool while I was gone and it is looking better today. We picked up Kyle and a friend of his before picking up Payton and heading for the track. Tonight was the last night for school and the the kids did racing. Payton did really well on his race and came in 4th out of 5 cars on the track. We came home and watch the rebroadcast of the Phillies game in which they won.

Busy Day...

I got up around 7:30am as Buster needed to go out. Beth got up around 8:30am and we had breakfast. We took showers and I had some errands to do. I left the house around 10:45am and headed to the bank to cash a check. When I got there, the bank was surrounded by cop cars and you could not get in the parking lot.. So I left there and went to AC Moore and Best Buy and then came home. I found out that the bank had been robbed around 10:30am this morning. Good thing I was running late. We had lunch and the pool fairies came to open the pool. It was a nice share of green, but should clear up in a few days. We left around 3:45pm to go to the outlet mall as Beth needed some new insoles for her shoes. We then headed to KOP as we were having dinner at the Melting Pot tonight. My god is there food so good and it helped we had a gift card.

Started packing...

Beth got up around 7:30am this morning and took her shower. She had PT at 9:30 and wanted to have breakfast before she went. I got up around 8:30am and we had breakfast together. It was still cold and cloudy out. The was just here and there most of the day. Beth left for PT and I took my shower and made the bed. Beth was still not home from PT by 11:30am. I tried to call her but no answer. So I got in the truck and when to see if I could find her. I made it all the way to PT and she was just leaving. I told her her driving privileged were revoked for not calling and making me worry. So we came home and had lunch. We then went to Home Depot and Staples. Beth finished putting together the Christmas Tree project she is working on and I started packing for our Disney trip. I made Shepard pie for dinner and we are waiting for the start of the Phillies/Diamondback game. I am pretty sure we will not win the series and may only win one game the way we are playing these days.

Rainy Sunday...

Beth was up and at church by 8am. I got up around 8:15 and took my shower. When Beth got home, I made french toast for breakfast and we read the paper. The had started and it was here for the long run. we left and went to Staples and to Best Buy. We got home around noon and the rain was still pouring outside and it was cool. I went downstairs to clean out the freezer. I had to find out what we had ans what we needed. Well we do not need any pork roast or rump roasts for the next 6 months. After I took everything out of the freezer and turned it back on to get cold, I came upstairs to put a chicken on the set and forget it. Kim and Jojo came over for a visit. I went downstairs to work on scrap booking stuff and fill the freezer. The chicken was done around 4;30 and we had stuffing and green beans with the chicken. After dinner, I went back downstairs for more scrap booking stuff. I came upstairs around 9am and the rain was pounding on the windows. It is suppose to rain all night and all day tomorrow. With no rain all year, we not get tons of it. Hope we don't have any flooding.

Baby bird saved...

We got up around 9am this morning. We had breakfast and then got dressed. We went down to the pool and had to suck up all the pine needles. around the pool since it is getting opened on Tuesday. After that, I planted the flowers I got yesterday, while Beth took a shower. I then took my shower and we were off to Beth's parents house. We had to check and make sure the weeds were dying. As we moved along the flower bed, I noticed something in the yard. It was a piece of a bird nest and a baby bird was on the ground. I am not sure what made me look at it, but we like to think Beth's mom had something to do with it. The bird had it mouth open looking for something to eat. So we finished the weeds and then picked up the bird and the piece of the nest and put it in a bucket. We were not sure what we were going to do with it, but we could not leave it there to die. So we came home and went to the vet, but they were closed. So we went to Diana's pet shop and they gave us several numbers to call and see if someone could help. So we came home and I called the wildlife place and they said we could it bring it to the center and they would take care of it. So off we went to Conshohocken which is about 50 minutes away. We felt good about taking the bird to someone who could take care of it better than we could. We left there and went and had dinner at a new place called Elevation Burgers. They were good and the fries were to die for. We went to Target for a few items and then came home. So it was a very exciting day and not one we had planned, but we had to give a baby bird a chance to live.

Rita's...

We got up around 8:45am this morning. Beth took a shower and then we had breakfast. Beth had PT at 10:30am and drove herself. I cleaned the bathroom, started laundry, and took a shower. We had lunch when she got back. We went outside as it was a nice day. Beth wanted to cut the front yard and I needed to pull the weeds in the bird feeder area. The electric cart is not charging correctly. Not sure it if needs a new battery or something else. I left to go pick up Kyle and just as I got to his house, he text me to say he was not feeling well. We talked for a little while and then I went to TSC to see if they had a battery and they did not. I came home and Beth was just about done with the yard. I came in side to finish laundry and check on how much a battery will cost. Beth came in about 30 minutes later. I fixed beef and cabbage for dinner and it was good. After dinner, we went to Home Depot. Beth wanted some plastic plugs the pole hanger down by the pool and I needed some more flowers. We then went to Rita's and got water ice. It is suppose to rain all week-end, so it looks like we will be doing things inside.

Payton racing...

We got up around 8am this morning. We had breakfast and then showers. I left to go to Reading to go to Reading China & Glass to do some shopping. After that, I went to Chipotle's for lunch. I brought it home and we had lunch and boy was it good. We both could only eat half of what we had, so we will have it again tomorrow. We left around 2:30pm to go see Dr. Bill. He wanted me to come back, so he could adjust what would not adjust on Monday. I then dropped Beth off at home and went to Target and to the grocery store. Payton's racing was cancelled last night because of rain. So he had it tonight. We decided to go a watch him race. It would be his first time racing with others on the track. We got there just as they were getting ready to line up. Payton was the third group on the track. He was nervous on the track. The third time around he waved to Beth and I. What a great jester, but he really needed to keep both hands on the wheel. He had a hard time keeping the car going and pressing on the gas pedal. After some instructions, he was back on the track again and did really well. There was a lot going on during the laps and he was really paying attention. We left after his second turn and went to go get some dinner. Beth was wanting fried chicken, so we went to KFC. We are now watching Swamp People and relaxing.

Ucky day...

We got up around 8am this morning. We had some hard boiled eggs left , so I made egg salad sandwiches for breakfast. It was a cold, cloudy, rainy kinda of day. We took showers and Beth finished cleaning off her desk and waited for her printed to show up. I wanted to go to Target, but never made it there. Just no motivation to get going. We had lunch and then we went to PT. Beth drove to and from PT. She said it was a little sore using the brake , but not bad. I went to the store while Beth was in PT and then we came home. Beth's printer was waiting for her and she played with it for a while and then we had to leave to go pick up the boys. We then took then to the track. It was still raining, but they were still going to get some race time in. We left and came home as Beth's knees were starting to get stiff.

Schedule is out...

We got up around 9am this morning. We both had a hard time sleeping last night and it was hot. It was a lot cooler today, so we had breakfast and went out and planted the flowers. We had to weed Pooh's corner and then planted the creeping phlox. We planted the rest of the flowers in the bed next to the house. Beth worked on the deer we set out at Christmas to see it they could be saved. One of them had a wiring burned out, so it got thrown away. The other one had the motor that did not work, but the light did, so it gets to live one more year. We then came in the house and fixed some lunch and took showers. I went downstairs to work on scrap booking stuff and Beth cleaned off her desk. I fixed burgers for dinner and Beth cleaned up the kitchen. The NFL schedule came out at 7:10pm tonight. We play the Cardinal on Sept. 23 and were looking for cheap flights to go see mom and the game. Right now the cheapest we could find were a $1000 for both us, so it may not happen. We will keep an eye out and see if prices go down.

Repave...

We both had a hard time sleeping late night and it was hot in the house. But we had to get up at 7:20am to get showers and see Dr. Bill at 9am. We then stopped and got propane for the grill and came home. The guy that did our driveway stopped by to see it we were ready to get it sealed and he would cut us a deal. So we agreed and I had to go move all the cars from the driveway and part them in the grass in front of the house. Also the house across the street from us was getting a fence put in, so it was a very busy day on our street. The guy finished the lawn and we have to stay off of it over night, which is not too bad. We left to go to PT a little before 2pm and I waited in the car. Boy was that the wrong thing to do. It was already 87 degrees outside, but a little wind was not too bad. Finally around 2:50pm I had to turn the air on in the car. We came home and it was hot in the house and I had a headache. So I took 3 Advil and took a little nap, except with the sawing and drilling of hole across the street it was a very short nap. We went out to dinner as we had a gift card from Outback we wanted to use up. Beth had her fist beer in weeks and she said it tasted good. So when we came home. we moved all the cars to in front of the driveway as Scott's Lawn is coming first thing in the morning. Beth was able to drive the caddy, but said it was painful getting in and out of the car. The Phillies are on the west coast all this week, so we will see if Beth stays up late to watch them.

Weed pulling Sunday...

We set the alarm for 6:30am, so we could get showers and I could take Beth to 8am mass. Well when the alarm went off, we both said to early and went back to sleep until 9am. We had breakfast and took showers. We then headed up to her parent's house. We had to pull the weeds that were starting to take over and so she would not get a letter from the homes association. We left there and went to the cemetery. We then headed to Home Depot for flowers. We picked up 3 half flats for creeping phlox, 2 carnation, and 4 other plants. Looks like tomorrow is flower planting day. We then watched the Phillies and Flyers win their games. I folded clothes and then went downstairs to work on scrapbooking.

Beth on the mower...

We got up around 9am this morning. We had bagels for breakfast and got dressed. I went over to get Gabby, so she could spend the day playing with Buster. Beth was going to get on the mower and see if she could mow the front yard. With a little help she ws able to get on the mower and off she went. She was able to go slow and cut all the front yard. She had a great time doing it and felt productive again. I finished putting mulch around the walking stick bush and by the lamp post. I was a few bags short and went to Lowe's to get 4 more bags. It think everybody was there getting all sorts of materials. It was a great week-end for being outside. We finished up around 1pm and had some lunch then took showers. Gayle and Angie came by for a visit and to play with Buster. We then left around 5pm to go take gabby home and pick up Kyle from school. His parents would not be home until after 8pm as they were on a different bus. We took him to Popeye's Chicken for dinner and then took him home. He was so tired and ready for bed. we are now home watching nothing on TV and are both ready for bed.

Rylee on vacation...

We got up around 8am this morning. We had breakfast and I took a shower. Beth decided that she was not taking one today. We left and went to AAA to pick up our Disney Cruise documents. We then came home and did some work around the house. We had to go pick up Rylee from school around 4pm. We stopped at McDonald's on the way home to get her some chicken nuggets. She ate all of them once we got home and wanted some fish crackers and then had some ham. The steroids she is on makes her hungry. I gave her a bath around 6pm and put her jammies and we watched Barney until Dawn and Jo came to pick her up. The were heading out of town on vacation and wanted to get past Washington DC tonight and then start out in the morning. she was very excited, but I am sure she did not understand that she would be in the car for a long time. After they left, we had leftovers for dinner and are watching the the Phillies. Kyle will be gone this weekend, so Gayle is coming over to cut the grass and to weed whack. Kyle's is going to Washington DC to march in the Cherry Blossom parade and we wish him Good Luck.

Just Wednesday....

We got up around 8am this morning. It was kinda cold out and looked like it could rain. we had breakfast and showers and I took Beth to PT at 11am. We came home and had lunch and just watched TV. We left around 4:30pm to go pick up Payton for racing class. We came home and had leftover ham. It was just as good tonight as last night. Beth is now watching the Phillies, 76ers, and the Flyers on TV so the remote is getting a work out.

Special Dinner...

I was up around 7:15am this morning. I had breakfast and watch some TV. Beth finally got up around 9:15am. She had breakfast while i took a shower. I had to run out to Target to get some colored marshmallows. I then came home and started working on dinner. I made deviled eggs and a Watergate salad. We had some lunch and Beth finished printing off another set of pictures. She had not been able to find any paper for her printer, so it looks like we will be buying a new one. I put the ham on around 3pm with lots of pineapples and cherries. I then put on scalloped potatoes and green bean casserole around 5pm. I finished up with roll and dinner was ready. Now it is a very busy TV night and then off to bed.

Back Normal...

We got up around 7:30am this morning. We took showers and had a quick breakfast before headed out the door to the doctor's office. We ran into a little traffic just before we got off the highway. We had to wait about 30 minutes before Beth was taken back to have x-rays. We then went back to see the doctor. He said she was doing really well for having both knees done and could go off all the meds they have given her the last 6 weeks. So she should thaw out by the end of the week and can have a beer and shave her legs with a razor. It is the little things that she is so happy to have back. We left there and came home. We could see alot of smoke in the distance and it smelt like wood burning. We found out that the area around French Creek was on fire and over 100 acres had burned already. It was a very windy day and that was not helping. It was located about 30 miles from our house. We were a little worried, but the wind seemed to be going more west away from us. So around 1pm, we headed to the All Star bar to meet some friends of Beth's and watch the home opener of the Phillies. They did not look go today and lost the game. We had to leave around 2pm as Beth wanted to come home and take a pain pill before PT. We left around 3:15pm for PT and the smoke was really bad. I could not roll down the windows in the car while I waited for Beth. We came home around 5pm and had leftovers for dinner. Dawn and Jo called to say that Rylee had a steroid to take to help with her hives. We are having our Easter dinner tomorrow and look forward to it.

Happy Easter

We were up around 6:30am this morning. We took showers and headed to church around 7:40am. I dropped Beth off and then went to Dunkin for donuts and the went back and waited for Beth. When church was off, we went to WAWA to get a paper and milk. We came home and had breakfast and did nothing until 3pm. We left around 3:15 to go to Eileen house. We had a great time visiting before dinner and had a wonderful dinner. We even had leftover sent home with us. Thanks Eileen for a great day. We came home around 7:30pm and watched a little TV. We are heading to bed as tomorrow is going to be a busy day. Happy Easter to all.

Not much today...

We slept until a little after 9am this morning. We had breakfast and then just sat around. I finally too a shower around 11am. I wanted to go to Reading to the Barnes and Noble bookstore to see about getting a couple of books. Beth just wanted to stay at home and do nothing, so I left around noon. I got to the book store and they only had 2 of the five books I was looking for. So I got the 2 and then got a couple of magazines and headed for home. Beth had showered and was watching the Sound Of Music. So we had a late lunch and she finished watching it in the living room. We left around 4pm to go get gas in the car and went to Super Wal-mart. We stopped by AC Moore and picked up a couple of albums Beth needed for her project as we had coupons and then came home. We had left over pasta from last night's dinner and then watched the Phillies game. It is still a 1 to 1 in the 10th inning. I will take Beth to 8am mass tomorrow and then we are going to go over to a friend's house for Easter Dinner.

Good Friday...

Beth was up around 7am and took her shower and I rolled out of bed around 7:15am. Jo dropped Rylee off around 7:30am. We had breakfast of little gem donuts and then I took a shower. Aunt Beth and Rylee watched some TV. Rylee was a little tired and laid on the floor in the sun. She took off her PJs and ran around in just her diaper. That seemed to help her hives a little. Around 11am we got her dressed and went to see the Easter Bunny. She was so excited to see him and we got a great picture of her. We then had lunch in the mall. Beth and Rylee had pizza and I went to Subway for a sandwich. I had about half of it when Rylee wanted to eat it. So I lost it to her and I had her left over pizza. We then walked through Kolh's and Rylee found the toy section. She found a Minnie Mouse stuffed animal and was so happy to take it to the lady for check out. She just hugged it so much and was so cute. We can home and she went right bed and went to sleep. She slept until 4pm. DJ and Kyle came over to cut the grass. The lawn movers did not bother her at all. Dawn got her around 4:15pm and Jo got her around 5:30pm. She picked up dinner on her way here. After dinner, we went downstairs and colored Easter eggs. It was alot of fun and Rylee had a good time. Rylee had a quick tubby before leaving as she had glitter all over her. It was a great day and we had fun with Rylee.

Nice day...

We got up around 8:30am this morning. I was going to get Kyle around 10am, but he did not want to come over today. So I took Beth to therapy and then had to go get gas in the car. I then went to GNC to get some vitamins I needed then back to pick Beth up at therapy. We then had to got to Quest, so Beth could get her blood drawn again. The could not find her request, so they had to call the doctor's office and she was there 45 minutes waiting. We then went to Giant for some groceries and Beth went to Best Buy to look for a new printer. We then came home and had some lunch. Beth was able to get the floors done before Dawn, Jo, and Rylee got here. Rylee was not feeling well and her arms and legs were all broke out. Rylee had an appointment at 7pm to get it looked out. We had dinner and Dawn took Rylee to the doctor. She has hives and are not sure what caused it. They say the hoter she gets the worst it will be but trying to keep her inside will not work for her. Since we are watching her tomorrow, we might try a cool bath after she has been outside playing.

Race Day..

Beth was up before me as usually this morning. We had breakfast and then just sat around. I took a shower around 1);30am and Beth took one after watching the view at noon. We had lunch and then went to the Sony store at the outlet mall. Beth has to buy a new photo printer since they no longer made the paper for hers. We did not find anything, but will keep looking. We came home and took Buster to the groomers around 4pm. We then had to pick up Payton and take him to his racing lesson. Maggie meet us there with Payton's car. It is surprising how light the cars are. We left there and came home around 6:15pm. We just walked in the door, when the phone rang and Buster was ready to be picked. So I went back out to get him and came home. I fixed steak for dinner and then finished Rylee's Disney book. What a busy afternoon it turned out to be.

First day of Therapy...

We got up around 8am this morning. We had showers and breakfast then headed to therapy. I waited about 15 minutes while Beth had evaluation. I wanted to go to the grocery store and get frozen food, but did not want to check out too quickly and have them thaw. So I took my time and when up and down every row. Beth finally came over just as I was headed down the frozen food lane. We finished up and headed home. Beth say the first day was not bad. Her right knee cap in not sliding up and down and the tendon down the slide is really stiff. She did ride the bike and said after the first 5 minutes it started to loose up a bit. So after putting away all the groceries, we had lunch. I worked on the book again and looked up and Beth was standing there. She made it downstairs on her own and was proud of herself. We came upstairs and went to Micheal's and the to WAWA. We had chili slaw dogs for dinner. We are now watching the women's basketball finals and hoping for a Baylor win.

Run Run Run Monday...

We were up at &;30 am. We took showers and headed out the door by 8:40am. We were seeing Dr. Jill this morning as Dr. Bill is on vacation. So we had to wait longer than normal as there was only one doctor working. We finally got out of there around 9:40am. we stopped at Dunkin as we were starving and had more places to go. We left there around 10am. We headed to CVS to get my meds and then to Micheal's to get post extenders for Beth Tree book. We then made it to Quest by 10:30am for Beth to get her blood drawn. There was no one there, so we got right in. We finally finished there and were on our way home around 11am. It was a very busy morning. When we got home there was a call from APEX needed to reschedule Beth appointment to tomorrow at 10am. So we had a little breathing room. We had some lunch and I played on the computer. Maggie sent me a link to a list of Emergency Supplies for my bunker. I even have Beth talking about how to secure to house to make it an bunker like. I left around 4:15pm to go pick up and that him to his counseling appointment. I stopped by the beverage store on the way home to see it they had and cream soda and they were out, so I came home. We had left over pasta for dinner and I went downstairs to finish Rylee's Disney book. I have one page left to do and too many pictures.

Just another day...

We got up around 8am this morning. We took showers and had a light breakfast. I took Beth to church for the first time in 5 weeks. I waited in the car for her. She was able to get out of the chairs and make it out the doors. After I picked her up, we went to Jack's Wayback Burgers for lunch. We then came home and started working on our projects. I had to go to AC Moore and get Beth another pack of inserts. She needs some post extenders and we can get them tomorrow. I have 3 more pages and I will be done with Rylee's Disney book. We have a busy day of running tomorrow starting at 9am.
