We got up around 9am this morning. We had breakfast and headed outside. We picked up all the decorative things out of the yard and put them in the shed. We put the umbrellas in their protective sleeves and put them away. We had to air up the tires on the garden cart and found one of the stems had fallen inside the tire. We were able to get the tire off and needed to get a new tube. So we took showers and headed to TSC. They did not have one but we did get a value stem puller. We then had to stop at GNC and then headed to Beth's parents house. We worked on the office and got most of the stuff moved to the garage. We figure we need a couple more days to get everything done. It is our mission to get it all done and clean by the time we go on the cruise. We are getting some stuff together for the Purple Heart people. so that should help. We had dinner at Long Horn and are now watching the Phillies game.

mamo day....
I had to get up at 8am this morning as I had an appointment at the hospital at 9:30am. I left the house around 8:50am and was done and back home by 9:30am. Glad it is over with and hope I don't have to go back for any further views. Beth was getting ready to go work outside in the shed. I worked in the house and stripped all the sheets off the bed and washed them. I had to call and get my prescription re-filled. Of course they had lost my information. So I have to give them all the information again and then talk to someone who would fax over a request to my doctor. Then I had to call the doctor to let them know what was going on. What a pain in the ass it is. So now I have to wait a week to so if the order gets processed. Beth got the shed organized and ready to load it up tomorrow. I re-potted a couple of plants the needed it and will come inside for the winter. We had dinner and are now watching the Phillies beat the Reds.

Bright and sunny...
We were up around 7:30am and headed to see Dr. Bill. After our adjustments, we headed home. I was able to get the kitchen cleaned and everything put away. I did a load of towels and striped the bed sheets. It was a bright and sunny day, so we are hoping to work outside and get everything picked up. I have a mammogram at 9:30am in the morning, but will work outside after I get home. Most of the school opened today and we are so happy. we can now go to the movies and the mall without a lot of teenagers around. We had leftover roast for dinner and it was just as good the second time.

What a difference 24 hours makes...
It was a rough night. The wind and rain were really strong when we went to bed at 1:30am. We turned the air on in the bedroom and slept until 9am. The storm had passed and all that was left was some drizzle and winds. We called around to our friend to make sure everyone made it through the storm and they did. We then had to decide if we were having the draft or if we needed to postpone it. With some people not having power and not getting much sleep, we decided to post pone the draft. We took shower and headed out. We stopped at a new burger place and had lunch. The food was really good and we will go back again. We then went to the grocery store to get a roast. We made roast with potatoes and carrots for dinner. We invited Kim, Dawn, and Jo for dinner since they had no power. So we came home and dinner in the oven. I went to my scrapbook room and worked on trying to get the printer to work. After several tries, I was able to get pictures to print. Beth talked to Dawn and they had power. They were going to stay home and enjoy the rest of the day. Kim and Jojo came over around 4pm and they were still without power. The sun was beginning to shine and the rain was gone. The winds had calmed and they day was great. It is amazing how things cane change in 24 hours. It should be sunny and in the low 80's all week. We are going to work on getting the outside ready for winter and get things put away.

Come on Irene
I got up around 8am this morning and Payton was already awake. So we came out and watched a little TV and it was not long before Kyle got up. Beth was up around 8:45am. We were headed to the diner for breakfast when Maggie text and said she was coming for the boys. She meant us at the diner and we all had breakfast. After breakfast, we headed to get gas in the car and made trips to Wal-mart and Pep boys. we then stopped at the beer store and got a keg of beer for tomorrow. We headed home and started putting the rest of the stuff outside away. The sky was dark and there were a few rain drops here and there. I felt a little better today and was ready to get some stuf done in the house. Beth went to church at 5:30pm and I fixed steak for her when she got home. It was really starting to rain harder and the wind was picking up. The said the worst of the storm will hit late tonight and we are hoping it is over by 1pm tomorrow. We really want to get the draft over with and not have to do it during the week. We are not sure if we will lose power or how much rain we will get, but we are ready, so Come on Irene.

Gasto doctor visit...
On top of everything else the firm alarm decided to go off at 1:15am. It scared both of us and we could not figure out why. It had done it earlier and again for no reason. So when we called the company, they put it in test mode and told us how to disable it here. So we were just about to go downstairs and it went off again. So needless to say we both got little or no sleep last night. I had to be up at 7am to shower and go to the gasto doctor. After taking to him a while, he decided to do an upper GI first. He schedule a lower GI for later if needed. So I will have the procedure done on Sept. 7 and see what happens then. I came home and we headed to BJ's for some shopping. We needed food for the draft party on Sunday. DJ and Maggie dropped off the boys around 1:30pm and they headed to Philly to watch the softball games. We made pizza for dinner and the boys are in bed. Maggie will pick them up first thing in the morning and we will finish what errands we have left. Hurricane Irene is schedule to hit Saturday night with 4 - 8 inches of rain expected and high winds. So we will see how things go.

Dentist again...
We slept until 9am this morning. It was stormy and raining outside which is good sleeping weather. We had breakfast and then took showers. Beth had to run to the pack-n-ship place and I cleaned the kitchen. I had another dentist appointment at 2pm to get the right side of my mouth done. I am sure glad that process is over. We then took back the food saver we got yesterday as it was not the one I wanted. My mom called to tall me the one she ordered would be here on Sept. 1. Thanks mom. We then came home and Beth played on the computer and I took a little nap. We had dinner and watched the Eagles game. They did look a little better than last week, but still have a long way to go. We are watching the storm headed our way and will be here on Sunday. I am hoping it changes direction a little bit and we don't get a lot of rain as the ground is already soaked. We have our draft party on Sunday and it should be fun. I have my doctor's appointment at 8am in the morning, so we will see what he has to say. Just want to get it over with and see what is going on. Here is our new driveway, so pretty.

Happy Anniversay...
We were up at 7am this morning. The guys were here around 9:30am and got right to work. I left around 10am and went to Target. I was in search of a food sealer and found one, but it not was I wanted. I came home and did some research and found the one I wanted on QVS. That meant a phone call to my mom cause she is the queen of QVC shopping. Beth and I wanted Subway for lunch, so I went out and got the new Oven Crispy Chicken. It was good and we both would get it again. The guys were making good progress on my anniversary present. They finished up the driveway around 4:30pm and it is nice. we have to stay off of it for a week. So everyone coming to the draft party on Sunday will have to park in front of the house. I fixed London Broil for dinner and then we went to Dairy Queen for dessert. We had to stop by Lowe's to get some caution tape and put it at the end of the driveway, so we or anyone else don't drive on it. Tomorrow is my second appointment at the dentist and I am so not looking forward to it, but will be glad when it is over. Happy Anniversary my love and it had been a great 6 years.

Life sucks...
I did not sleep well again last night. The phone at 8:30am this morning and then it was time to get up. We had breakfast and I took a shower. I had to run to CVS to get a couple of prescription I had there. I got a call from the doctor's office about my blood work. I do not have a problem with my B12, but for some reason I am very anemic. And to top it all off my cholesterol is also high. So for now, I have to take iron pills twice a day and Lipitor. I made an appointment to see a gastroenterologist for Friday. So I had to go back to the doctor's office to pick up paper work. She had given me a co-pay card for the Lipitor, but I had to activate the card first. So I called them and gave them all the information and then headed to CVS to get it filled. For some reason the activation did not work, so we had to call again from CVS to give them the information again. It would not have been a big deal except with out the card it would cost $57 and with the card it would only be $7. So everything got done and I came home. Could this day get any worst. Oh yes it did. We had the shock of an earthquake. I could not figure out why the TV was moving and we were both sitting down. DJ and Maggie dropped off Kyle. They were heading to the Phillies game and we were taking Kyle to band practice. Around 6:30pm, the guy came by to give us an estimate on redoing the driveway. It is in bad shape and really needs to be fixed. So Beth was outside for about 30 minutes and came back inside and said she got me a new driveway for our anniversary. How nice of her. So they will be here tomorrow to begin the work. We are saying about a grand as they are already in the area and only have a 1/2 day of work tomorrow. So DJ and Maggie left the game in time to pick up Kyle, so I am taking a good sleeping pill and going to bed in hope that tomorrow will be a better day.

Doctor visit...
I finally had a great night of sleeping. We both slept until 9:30am. I had to get up and take a shower as I had a doctor's appointment at 11:40am. I had 2 issues to talk to her about. he first one was the body scan and the results. She was not to concerned with the acid reflux and I need to change my diet and when and how much I eat. No big surprise there and kinda thought that was going to be the out come. The second was the tiredness and short of breath I have been having. She said it might be a B-12 deficiency, but she did some blood work to check some things. I did read about B-12 and all the things it talks about I have, so I am hoping that is all it is. So I left the doctor's office ans since I had not eaten, I went and had my blood work done. I finally made it home around 2pm. Beth had the front yard cut and was cleaning the mower. We had some lunch and I went to the store. The had London Broil on sale and we needed some. I fixed fajitas for dinner and we are watching the Phillies game. The won big time against the Mets. Way to bounce back.

Tired Again...
I could not sleep again last night. I finally got up around 2:15am and took another sleeping pill and red until 4am. I fell asleep and woke up around 9am. Beth was already home from church. I took a shower and we went to the diner for breakfast. It was another gloomy and rainy day. After breakfast, we went to Lowe's and I got some more wood to make another shelf. The Phillies game came on at 1:30pm, so I started laundry and went downstairs to work on the shelf. The Phillies had another rain delay and found a way to lose the game. I went to the store and we had an early dinner. Beth was able to refold all her t-shirts as they were starting to lean. I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow to see about my stomach and my shortness of breath and then we are going to work on packing so more stuff at Beth's parents house.

Work Work Work..
I took a real sleeping pill last night and slept like a baby. We got up around 9am this morning and had breakfast. We did not take showers, as we headed up to Beth's parent house. We are trying to finish up things, so the house can get on the market. We did really good and I think we only have about a couple more days of work there. We came home around 4pm and we both had headaches. It must be the change in the weather again. We had dinner and began watching the Phillie's game. I went downstairs at 8pm to watch the football game. We beat the Nat, but we so hoping the diamondbacks could help us out and beat the Braves, but nope. I worked on making a shelf for the larger bobble heads and it turned out pretty good. It just needs a coat and paint and will be ready to hang. So it was a busy day today, but got alot of work done,

Mini Golf...
For some reason, I could not fall asleep last night. I played on the computer until 3am and then went to bed. We were up around 8am and Payton would be here around 9am. I took a shower and was just starting breakfast when he got here. Beth went and took a shower while Payton and I colored. We left around 10:30am to go play mini golf. Beth and Payton got clubs and I took pictures and helped Payton with his play. He had a great time and did well for a 4 year old. We had lunch in the club house and then came home. Payton and I took lai
d for a nap. He was out in about 10 minutes and I left the room. He was asleep for about an hour and up and ready to go. We watched Toy Story 3 and Beth and Payton had popcorn. Payton was able to stay still until the popcorn ran out. Then he was up and roaming around. We made our own pizzas for dinner and then had ice cream cones for dessert. Maggie picked him up around 7:30pm in the middle of another rain storm. We are getting used to thunder, lighting, and heavy rain. The Phillies game was postponed for 2hours and 45 minutes, so it will be another late night for Beth.

Rain Delay....
We got up around 8:30am this morning. We had breakfast and then I took a shower. My neck and mid back were killing me and Beth's knee was hurting. We called and were able to get in to see Dr. Jill. After out adjustments, we went to Target and did some shopping. We then came home and had some lunch. The clouds rolled in and it looked like rain. We had dinner and started watching the Phillies. The the sky opened up and the game went into a rain delay. So we watched the Eagles games and boy did they suck Big time. I hope this is not a sign of things to come. We are watching Payton tomorrow and Maggie had to work late and DJ is doing something for Kyle at school. Maggie will drop him off around 9am. We are thinking of going to play mini golf with him tomorrow. Should be a good time. So the Phillies game is back on after a 2 hour plus delay. Beth will watch it til the end, but I will be sleeping.

I hate the dentist...
We did not get home until very late last night from the Phillie's game. We slept in a little later than normal. I fixed bacon and eggs for breakfast. Beth went to go get gas and was going to cut the grass. I had a dentist appointment at 2:30pm. I also hate going to the dentist cause it is always bad news. I knew it was not going to be fun as I needed a full mouth set of x-rays and they were doing a deep cleaning on the right side. And of course I had a big fever blister on my bottom lip. So an hour and half later, I was on my way with half my mouth really numb and sore. Beth had all the weed whacking down and the front yard cut when I got home. She finished the back yard and took a shower. I fixed her steak for dinner and I had noodles as the numbness was wearing off. I will go back next week and have the other side done.

Rainy again...
We were up around 7:30am this morning. We had appointments to see Dr. Bill at 9am. We got there a little early and a good thing. The waiting room was packed and Dr. Jill had the day off. I had to pick up Kyle and take him for his eye exam at 10am and wondered if we were going to make it. We got our adjustments and were out the door by 9:30am. Beth had to go with me as there was no time to drop her off at home. Kyle had exam and got a trial pair of contacts. We dropped him off at home and we headed home for some breakfast. Problem was, we had nothing to eat. So we made do with what we could fine and I went to the store later in the day. I went outside to pull the weeds in the from bed as they were taking over. It was sunny, but you could hear thunder and it was getting closer. So I came inside and with in 5 minutes the rain hit. So I went onto Holland America website and did out early check in for the cruise. I then had to call mom to get her information to check her in. I did laundry today and made sure we did not bring home alot of sand from the beach. I picked the rest of the tomatoes from the vine and will cut them down tomorrow. We got alot of little tomatoes, but never got any big slicing ones. Not sure if it was the hot weather, the water, or the soil. But we will not be planting many next year and will take advantage of the veggie stands. We are going to the Phillie game tomorrow. We are playing the diamondbacks and they are in the lead by 2 games in their division. So mom will not be happy with us if we knock them out in their division.

Come on Net...
Beth woke up around 7am this morning and her neck was killing her. We put an ice pack on it and she slept for another hour or so. She got up around 9am and took a shower and then headed to church. I took a shower and sorted laundry. She came home and we had some lunch and listened to the NFL channel as they were at the Eagles Training camp. It had been slowing raining all day and there was no sign of it letting up. The cancelled the Phillies game, but they still gained a 1/2 game as the Braves lost. We head over to Dawn and Jo's house around 2pm. We stopped and picked up cake and ice cream to celebrate Rylee's 1 year adoption. Rylee was still taking a nap when we arrived, so it gave us time to talk to Dawn and Jo and do some catching up. Rylee got up around 4pm and was still a little tired. We had a great time playing. She is now able to call me Net and I love it. I was chasing her around the table and then into the living room and I would take a break on the chair. She would look at me and say ' Come on Net'. How cute is that? We had cake and ice cream and then came home. We see Dr. Bill in the morning and then I have to take Kyle for for his eye exam at 10am. I am hoping to get some weeds pulled in the morning as the rain should have loosened then up.

Home...
We got up around 5am and loaded the rest of the stuff in the car. We were on the road by 5:30am. It was still dark so Beth drove for about a couple of hours. We made a pit stop and I then drove. The traffic was not bad and moved quickly. It was cloudy and we only had sprinkles. We stopped out side Washington and Beth took over driving and of course we ran into traffic. There had been a really bad rain storm come through and traffic was backed up. We really only had to travel a few miles before we turned off onto a different road. We stopped and had a late lunch/ early dinner at Lone star. We were home 4pm and unloaded the car. It started to rain really hard around 6pm and stayed that way for about an hour. It is nice to be home and relaxing. We had a great time at the beach and look forward to going back again. Thanks to Gayle and Angie for doing such a great job with Buster and the house.

Rainy day...
We got up around 8:30am this morning. Kim and Lynne made it in around 1:30am. We all had breakfast and Beth and I headed to the beach. It was not looking good as the sky was cloudy and dark. We did make in into the ocean for about 30 minutes. The wind started to pick up and the clouds continued to roll in and thunder could be heard. We got out of the water as Kim, Lynne, and Jojo came down. We sat down for a little while, but the wind was blowing sand and it hurt. So we went back into the ocean, but only stayed about 15 minutes as the wind was really bad and the waves were rough. We headed back to the condo and the others went to the pool. We took showers and headed out to have lunch and shop. We ate at the Atlanta Bread company and it was really good. We went to a couple of places looking for t-shirts for the kids and then came home around 3pm. We watched a couple of movies and then Lynne told us about a place that might have the t-shirt Beth was looking for. We went there, but they did not have it. We came back home and fixed personal pizzas for dinner. After dinner, we loaded up the car as we are planning to leave at 6am tomorrow. It rained most of the day and is expected to rain the next 4 days, so it is good we are going home. We had a great time.,but look forward to getting home. We have 6 weeks until the cruise.

Final day on our own...
We were on the beach around 10:30am this morning. The waves were nice and calm and we spent 2 hours in the water. We headed to the pool around 1pm. Beth went up to shower and change, while Jojo and I played int he pool for 30 minutes. We then came up to take our showers and Beth went to the hot place to get great hotdogs. We went out to dinner this evening as they have a really good wing place here. Beth said they were good and I had a great burger. Kim and Lynne are on their way down and will be here around 1am. Preseason football started tonight. We could only get the charger/seahawk game, but were able to listen to the eagles game. It is nice to have the season under way.

Cloudy and sprinkles...
We were on the beach around 11am this morning. It was cloudy and we had a few sprinkles, but they soon went away. The waves were mild and the water nice. We spent about 2 hours in the water and on the beach. We then headed to the pool for a final dip. I came upstairs to take a shower and get lunch ready. The other 2 came up about 30 minutes later. We had leftovers and cleaned out the fridge. Jojo finished making a necklace and bracket with beads and we headed out to do some shopping. We went to Barnes and Noble and to Micheal's. We stopped at the store and got ice cream for later. We came home and I made tacos for dinner. We were all a little tired tonight and will be glad to hit the hay. Tomorrow will be out last day as Kim and Lynne will be here early Friday morning. We are hoping to leave early Saturday morning in hopes for getting past most of the traffic.

A day off from the beach...
I woke up the morning not feeling well and decided I would not go to the beach today. I made french toast for breakfast and Beth and Jojo headed to the beach. I took a shower and did the dishes. I tried to call my mom, but the service is not great hear. Beth and Jojo came up around noon and they took their showers. We then left and went to CiCi Pizza for lunch. It was great and we don't have one in PA. We then headed to Wilmington to do some shopping. It was already 103 degrees out, so we did not stay long. We came home and had dinner and are now watching RIO.

Love low tide...
We were up and at the beach around 9:30am. The water was warm and it was low tide. The waves were great and easy. We made sand castles and around 11:30 the tide started to change and the waves became rough, so we headed to the pool for awhile. I came up before the other two to get my shower and get lunch ready. After Beth and Jojo had showers we had lunch and watched Toy Story 1 and 2. I started the little charcoal grill as we were having steaks tonight. After dinner, we roasted marshmallows and had a great time. We watched Toy story 3 and Jojo was ready for bed. It is suppose to be 103 degrees tomorrow, so we want to get to beach early as it will be too hot for afternoon swimming.

Long Day at the Beach....
We woke up around 8am this morning. Jojo was up around the same time and ready to go. We had breakfast and then headed to the beach. It was low tide and the waves were nice. We set up our clam shell and put the chairs in it and headed to play in the waves. The water was nice and the waves were calm. We stayed on the beach for a couple of hours then were to play in the pool for about an hour. We came inside and had lunch. Jojo helped me make sandwiches and we had chips and fruit. We went back out to the beach and it was the start of high tide. The waves were rough and the the under current was strong. We only stayed for about an hour and then went to the pool for about 30 minutes. It was sunny and hot out and everyone was tired. We came inside and took showers. We then headed back to the store for a few things we needed and stopped at one of the local shops. We did a little bit of shopping then came home. we had spaghetti and meatballs for dinner. Jojo helped make the meatballs and had a good time. It is 9am and we are ready for bed. It was a long day but was very good.

Made it to the Beach..
We left around 8:30am for the beach. We made pretty good time until we crossed into Virginia and then we came to a stand still. For the next 80 miles we were stop start and it was really irritating Beth. We could see no reason for it and it seemed like it would not get any better. We did some guys working on the side of the road and after we past that the road was free to move. It was so weird, but cost us about an hour and half on time. We finally stopped at cracker barrel for lunch and of course we chose the wrong one. It was busy and very noisy. We ate and as we start to leave, the rain started. It was hit and miss for a little while, but we seemed to run out of it and made up a little time. We then turned on 40 highway and could see some mean looking clouds coming our way. Then the lighting started and the rain came down hard. A lot of cars pulled to the side of the road, but we keeping moving. We had to turn on the flashers as you could not see the cars in from of you. We finally moved past the rain and it stopped about 20 miles from the beach. We stopped and picked up the food we needed from the store and had no more room for anything in the car. We made it to the condo and unloaded the car. It took us about 12 hours to get here, but are so glad we made it. So we are off to the beach.

Packing up...
We were woken up the morning at 8am by my regular doctor's office calling to tell me you test came back abnormal. I asked what that meant and they said to call my specialist. Great, they don't open until 9am. So I called and left a message for my cancer doctor and worried for the next hour and a half. When she called she said it was not cancer and that my blood count showed not trace of it. So it was either acid reflex or a hiatal hernia, which I knew I was having some stomach issues. So after the scare wore off, we continued getting ready to leave for the beach tomorrow. I will call my doctor when I get back and have it looked at. Kim dropped Jojo off around 9am this morning for us to watch until 2pm. Beth went out to cut the weeds and what grass there was while Jojo and I went to get dog food and packed. We had lunch and watched the Disney channel and finished laundry. Beth came in around 2pm and took a shower and Kim came by around 3pm. After they left, I went out to look at our weeping cherry tree. I noticed some sap at a couple of places on the trunk. So I read on the Internet that these types of trees get bores during the hot weather and can kill a tree. So we went to the nursery to talk to them about what we could do. They gave us some stuff to add to water that should kill the bores. Let's hope so, as this tree is beautiful. We then went over to DJ and Maggie's house for dinner and to visit. we had a great time and hope to get together more often. We are packing the car tonight in hopes of leaving around 8am in the morning.

Body scan..
I got up around 7am this morning. I was out the door and headed to the hospital by 7:30am. It had rained most of the night and was still misting when I left. Beth decided to wait and finish painting when we got home from the beach. I did not have to wait for my scan. The way to describe it is laying on a aluminum plank about 10 inches wide. They then put a foam pad under your knees and a rubber band around your feet to hold them together. Then your arms are by your side with a band that comes across them and hold them tight. Then you have to lay as still as possible for each test. The first one takes about 30 minutes and goes the full length of your body. The next 2 are just of you neck, the next has your head tilted back and is of the neck area, and the last is of your arms over your head and scans the body area. All in total it takes about a hour and 25 minutes. My back was killing me by the time I was done. I then came home and ate my burrito for breakfast and it was great. We left around noon to go to BJ's wholesale club. Of course we had lunch there, I had a hotdog and Beth had pizza. After our shopping we came home and unloaded the car. We then called and were able to get in to see Dr. Jill for an adjustment. We went to Target for a couple of things and came home. I fixed Beth steak for dinner and I had leftover green bean and ham soup. We then went to Lowe's to get the disposable grill pans for the beach. We are watching Jojo for 1/2 a day tomorrow and I have to do laundry so we can pack. Then we are having dinner with DJ, Maggie, and the boys.

Day 3 comes to a close...
I got up at 6:45am this morning. I took a shower and headed to the hospital. I got there way early, but still not get registered until 8:15am. I headed back to the nuclear medicine area. I did not have to wait at all and was back in area ready to swallow my 4 pills. I left there and was back home by 9am. Beth working on the garage and was about ready for paint. I had let her know that since she had bare wood she had to prime the area. So off to Lowe's I went to get primer and tack clothes. It began to sprinkle when I arrived back home, but Beth was still working away. She is over this project and wants it done now. I fixed lunch and she was back at it again. I looked outside and it was rain harder. I went to check on Beth and since it was covered, she was painting away. So I left her to her task and came back inside. I was able to get alot of the house clean and food packed for the trip. Beth finished up with all the priming and took a shower. We watched the Phillies game and they swept the Rockies. We are still 8 games ahead of the Braves. it was time for dinner. I am so glad today is the end of the no salt diet. I had a potato with caramelize onions and corn. It had a little more flavor than the other nights. Beth went out to eat and I am glad she did. all food looks good right now and anything she had would make it worse. She had been a trooper the last 3 days and it was much appreciated. I have my body scan at 8am tomorrow and then it is back to normal food. I have my burrito waiting for me as soon as I get home.

No salt food sucks...
I was up again at 8am this morning and on my way to the doctor's office for my second shot. I got there a little before 9am, but the nurse forgot about me and I did not get my shot until 9:30am. I left there and had to get gas as the little light came on. I had 40 cents a gallon off at giant making it $3.31 a gallon. I then came home and Beth was hard at work on the garage again. The storm last night cut her working time short and she wanted to get a jump on it today. We had a ball game in Reading tonight as they were giving away the Chooch hooting owl. We decided to just go up and get the give away and come home. We did stop at Chipotle and I got burrito for my dinner Thursday night and Beth got some chips and guacamole. Since I could not eat anything at the park it was easier to come home and Beth was really tired from working on the garage all day. So it is the end of day two of the no salt diet. Today was a lot harder than yesterday. Fruit and lettuce only goes so far, but my burrito on Thursday will be worth the wait.

First day of no salt food...
I got up around 8am this morning and took a shower. I headed to the doctor's office fro my first of 2 shots. I have to get one in the right cheek butt and tomorrow's in the left. Along with that I have to be on a no salt diet. How you every looked at how many things salt is in. So for breakfast I have fresh pineapple, cantaloupe, and a banana. Beth did well with trying to eat and not make me want what she has. Beth went out and started sanding the garage frame. She wanted to paint it tomorrow. I left around 12:40pm to go get my hair cut and colored. Afterwards I went to Target and AC Moore for a few things. Kim and Lynne stopped by to give us the keys for the condo and to get some tomatoes. I was starving by now as my fruit for breakfast did not last long. I had some peanut butter on some no salt crackers. It was not good, but did the trick. After they left, Beth went back out to work on the garage. Around 4:30pm the skies became dark and the thunder started. Beth came in as it was going to cut loose with rain. She took a shower and the wind started first followed by rain and thunder. Buster was having a fit, so we went downstairs to calm his nerves. We came upstairs around 6:30pm for dinner. Beth had hotdogs and a lettuce wedge. I had a lettuce wedge and a baked potato with not butter, sour cream, or cheese. I did have some no salt seasoning, so it was not bad. So day one of the no salt diet is done and I can't wait for tomorrow.
