We were up at 7:30am this morning. We had appointments to see Dr. Bill at 9am and all the staff was all dressed in their Halloween costumes. We left there and went to the bank and to the pack and ship place and then came home. we had left over cupcakes for breakfast and they were good. We then went to GameStop as I had to see what games I had on order for Kyle for Christmas. We then went to AC Moore and to Bed Bath and Beyond. It was still kinda of cold out, so it was time to turn on the heater in the house. Rylee had her Halloween parade at 4:30pm so we went to go see her. She was very cute. we then came home and had dinner. Jojo and Payton came to see us and they were dressed in their costumes. Jojo was a winter princess and Payton was a Power Ranger. Beth thinks because we did not decorate we did not have many kids come by. I think it is just to cold to be out. So we are watching the Chiefs/Chargers game and hoping for a Chiefs win.

Football Halloween Party...
Beth got up and watched the church service on television this morning. We had breakfast and I took a shower. Beth went out and used the little snow blower on the driveway. I made the frosting for the cupcakes and then frosted them. I put the spaghetti on to boil to make the pasta salad and called in an order for 96 wings. Beth came in and took her shower, then went to go pick up the wings. I started making the hot dog mummies and the spooky caterpillar. DJ and family arrived first. Maggie looked at my computer and install a new version of Java. All the food was ready to go at 1pm for kickoff. We had about 15 people here and had a great time. everyone left around 7pm and we are now watching the Eagles play a good game so far againist the Cowboys. We still have snow on the ground and alot of branches everywhere.

OH NO SNOW....
Beth was up at 7am this morning and began cleaning the house. I woke up around 8am and we had breakfast. It looked like it had been raining for awhile, but was starting to turn to snow. About an hour later, it was snowing and snowing hard. We finished cleaning the rest of the house and around 11am, we went to the store. By then, there was about an inch or more of snow already and it was wet and heavy. You could hear the branches breaking in the woods behind us. We wanted to test the caddie in the snow, since this was the first time for us using it. So off to the store we went and it was a mess on the roads. The caddie handles great and we had no problems. We ate lunch and I made cupcakes, apple cider ones. after that, I made Rylee's treats for her Halloween party on Monday. I then boiled some eggs and made deviled eggs with spiders made of black olives on them. They looked pretty cool. The snow came done hard all day long and we have around 6 inches right now. I hate to see how many branches are in the yard tomorrow morning. Our lights went off and on most of the afternoon, but we still have electricity right now. We did fill the bath tub will water for the toilets in case we do lose the electricity. So right now the party is still on for tomorrow, but we will see that the morning holds.

Treats...
We got up around 9am this morning and boy was it cold. It was in the low 40s, but the sun was shining. We had breakfast and then took showers. I headed to the store and to Micheal's. After I got home, the treat making process began. We made an additional 25 boney hands for Payton party on Monday, made 25 chocolate spiders, 27 boney fingers, 15 witch cauldrons, and 24 ghost suckers. We took them over to Maggie tonight, so we would not have to get up early tomorrow. Tomorrow I can work on Rylee's treats for her party on Monday and the stuff we need for the party on Sunday. We are expected to get rain and yes snow tomorrow night. They say we could get 1 to 6 inches and it is not even Halloween yet. Not a good sign for the rest of the year. Beth's brother Jeff is coming tomorrow to look at our sofa and maybe buy it. I sure hope so, so we can bring up the other one from the scrapbook room. The high the next few days is only going to be in the low 40s and the low is in the high 20s. What happen to fall?

Run Run Run...
I had to get up at 7:30am this morning. I took a shower and was out the door by 8:30am. I had a dentist appointment to get my stitches out and could not wait. I was almost to the office when traffic came to a stand still. I waited for 5 minutes and had not moved an inch. I knew I needed to go around what ever was causing the hold up but had not idea where I was. So I just followed the other cars and sure enough I was back on the road and at the dentist office. Good thing every one else knew where they were going. So I got my stitches out and now I have a anti-biotic rinse I have to use twice a day. I have to go back in 2 weeks for another check and will have the other side done after we come back from Disney. So I headed home and stopped by CVS to drop off the prescription. I then picked up Beth and we went to BJ's wholesale club. After shopping, I got a hot dog and Beth got pizza for lunch. We stopped by Costco. but was still not able to find the food service disposal gloves. So we came home and unloaded the truck. I then found a place in reading that carried them and off I went. Beth stayed home to work on bills. I pickup up what I needed and then made a stop at CVS to get my rinse, then one more stop at Micheal's. I made it home around 3pm. I found had not even started on the bill and was watch ghost hunters. So I started on the Halloween Hands for Jojo for her Halloween party tomorrow. You take candy corn and put them in each finger hole of the glove. The I took popcorn and drizzled white chocolate over it and let it harden. Then you fill each finger hole with the popcorn, marshmallow, yogurt raisins, and popcorn jelly bellies. The you add a spider ring to one of the fingers. The looked pretty cool and only took Beth and I a couple of hours to go 28 gloves. I still have to make 30 more for Payton to take to school on Monday, but Jojo was having her party tomorrow. I then fixed Beth a steak for dinner and I had chipole's that I picked up early. We they went over to Kim and Lynne's house to give Jojo her Halloween treats. After that, we made a trip to the grocery store for Halloween treats I need to make for Maggie's sister bake sale on Saturday. She found out she has breast cancer and does not have insurance to cover it. So they are have a bake sale to raise money. I offered to make some things to help out. So tomorrow I will make the things for the bake sale, work on the Payton's treats, and do Rylee's treats. So it will be a busy day tomorrow.

Zoo..
We were up at 7am this morning. Maggie dropped off Payton around 7:30am. We had cereal for breakfast and then left for the zoo around 9am. The ride down was not bad and we made it to the zoo by 10am. We started out int he reptile area. Beth actually went in and even got close to the snakes. Payton had a blast looking at the snakes, crocs, and lizards. We went to the x-ten-son and they we not what we thought they would be. Some we walked around and saw alot of the animals. Payton would run from animal trying to take in as much as possible. We had some lunch and there were bees all around us. We made it to the gift shop and everyone was tired by then. Payton, of course, got a snake and Beth was just thrilled. Payton was asleep before we hit the highway and slept all the way home. DJ came by to pick him up around 5pm. We had dinner and are ready for bed. I have a dentist appointment at 9am in the morning to get my stitches out and can't wait. I sure it will be a few more days before I can chew on that side.

Yard work again...
We got up around 9am this morning. I made waffles for breakfast using an apple cinnamon batter we got last week. After breakfast, I took a shower and went outside to finish picking up things and putting them in the shed. Beth took her shower and then came outside and said she was not feeling well. She then went to the bank and stopped and got lunch. I was able to get most of the stuff in the shed and needed Beth's help to load the Tiki Bar. After Beth returned from the bank, she said her eyes hurt and she felt tingles all over and to throw away the waffle mix. Not sure that had anything to do with it, but it was the only thing different she had eaten. So after lunch, we loaded up the Tiki Bar and stored it in the shed. The water softener guy came by to replace the chemicals and test the water softener. After he left, I had some shopping to do as I am making Halloween treats for each of the kids to take to school. We had leftover roast for dinner and I am ready for bed. Payton will be coming over tomorrow morning and spending the day with us. We are going to the zoo and hope the rain holds off.

Purple Heart...
Beth was up at 5am this morning. She had to be at her parent's house by 7am. The Purple Heart people were to be there some time between 7am and sundown. Since I had a hair appointment at 12:30pm, I stayed home and cleaned house which was in need of it. Beth called around 11:30am to say they had been there and were on her way home. I was already gone when she got home, so she had lunch and rested. When I got home, Beth was able to get the front yard cut, before it started to sprinkle. The back yard will have to wait again. We went over to DJ and Maggie's house around 5pm. We wanted to give the boys their gifts and visit with them. I needed to take over my tower for Maggie to work on and talk to her about the bake sale on Saturday. Kyle was also having a fund raiser for school and we wanted to look at the items. We then had to go over to Jeff's house, so Beth could get a check from him. We finally made it home and had left over roast for dinner and are no watching the football game.

Eagles on Bye...
I got up around 8:30am this morning. I took a shower and went to the store. Beth was not feeling well and slept most of the morning. She had some breakfast and never made it to church. There was a little man inside her head pounding away. I put a roast on the stove and cooked it all day long. We then settled in to watch the Red Zone all day long as the Eagles had a bye this week. We had dinner around 6:30pm and the roast just fell apart and had great flavor. We will be having leftovers if I can keep Beth out of it. Beth has to be up early tomorrow as the Purple Heart people may be at her mom's house by 7am. I have a hair appointment at 12:30pm, so I will clean house while she is gone.

Head cold...
We got up around 9am this morning. Beth has been fighting a head cold and I think it is getting the best of her right now. we had some breakfast and left the house. We took flowers and put them on Beth's mom grave since today was her birthday. We then stopped at CVS to get some prescriptions and then came home. I noticed that my was charged the wrong price, so I had to go back and get it corrected. I then went to the party store to get some stuff for the football Halloween party next week. I came home and started laundry. I had a coupon for 25% off of my total purchase at Micheal's so off I went. I picked up some stickers and some Halloween stuff. We spent the rest of the day watching football and playing on the computer.

Marching Band...
We were up, showered, and out the door by 9:45am. We stopped by Dunk in to pick up breakfast and then headed to Beth's parent house. We wanted to make sure everything was packed and ready to go for the Purple Heart people on Monday. There will be there sometime between 7am and night fall. We have packed up everything we can and just need to do a good cleaning. We left and came home around 1pm. We had some lunch and left to go look at new lawn mowers. We want to trade in the one we have and get a new one that we can add a snow blower to. We got some information to look at and then came home, so Beth could took a nap. She has her first head cold of the season. Mine is doing good and under control. We left around 6pm to go watch Kyle march in his band at school. It was chilly out and we had to put on our first pair of long pants and jackets. After watching him, we left and stopped at Giant to get flowers. We are going to Beth's mom grave tomorrow as it is her birthday.

Teeth are sore...
We got up around 8:30am this morning. I fixed turkey bacon and scrambled eggs. we took showers and headed out to Costco. It was our first time to the new store. We picked up a few things and discussed the differences between it an BJ's wholesale club. We left there and went to WAWA for lunch. Beth was craving a hoagie and well all I could have was soup and mac & cheese. It was kinda chilly out today and we wore long sleeves. I still can not bring myself to wear jeans yet. I am hoping to hold off until Nov., but I don't think I will make it. I spent the afternoon looking at the Halloween cook books. We want to have a Halloween football party on Oct. 30 and I want to make Halloween type foods. Dinner are going to be a tricky for the next week as I can only eat soft foods. My teeth are kinda sore tonight but the pain pill help.

Dentist..
We got up around 8:30am this morning, had breakfast, and showers. We left for the dentist around 10am. I was a little nervous and not sure what to expect. I knew they had to scrap the teeth down underneath the gum line and I would have stitches. So a hour and a half later, I had 12 stitches and a sore mouth. I have to say it was not as bad as I thought and I only felt pain 3 times during the process. So we then came home and Beth went to get my pain prescription filled and then to the store. so I put an ice pack on and off my cheek for about a couple of hours and took my pain pills. I had soup for dinner and it was not bad and the pain is little. So we will see what tomorrow brings. And I get to do the other side in a couple of weeks. Yea me. It was cold and rainy today, so it looks likes the days of wearing shorts might be coming to an end soon.

Work day...
We slept until 8:30am and then had breakfast. We went outside to work as it was a nice day and is suppose to rain tomorrow. I began working in the flower beds, cleaning out the old plants, pulling weeds, and getting ready for winter. Beth had to pull all the rocks over the drain pipe and hopefully will be the last time she has to do that. She then cut the front yard. I had to go to Target and then to the grocery store. I want to fix perogies and sausage for dinner as it will be my last solid food for a few days. I am not looking forward to have oral surgery done tomorrow and feel it is not going to be fun. We had dinner and they went to Lowe's for a couple of things.

Water Leak...
Beth was up and out the door by 8am this morning. She had a doctor's appointment at 9 am and would have to fight traffic. I slept until 9am and it felt good. I had breakfast and took a shower, then began putting vacation stuff away. Beth came home around and I went downstairs to take some chicken out of the freezer and found water all over the floor. I tracked it down to a pipe coming into the house from the water pump. We tried to wrap it with some waterproof tape, but only managed to slow it down and have it drip into a bucket. Beth called the plumber and they asked if it could wait until tomorrow. WHAT THE HELL...NO..so they said they would try to get some one out they by 3pm. So we emptied the buck every hour and were getting about a gallon of water each time. So I went to see Dr. Bill at 2:45p and had Beth changed to come it by 6:15pm. The plumber arrived around 3:15pm and was able to fix the problem. There was a little value that had rusted through and was easy to remove and fix. Thank god it could have been worse. Guess it was just waiting for us to get home. Beth went to see Dr. Bill and I fixed dinner. We are hoping to work outside tomorrow to get the grass cut and get some Halloween stuff out. We will see if the rain hold off.

Eagles win..
Beth was up and out the door for church by 7:45am. I got up around 9am and made cinnamon rolls for breakfast. Beth stopped and got a paper on the way home and we read the paper and ate breakfast. I took a shower and dressed for the Eagles game. we went over to Dawn and Jo's house. As we rang the doorbell, you could her Rylee screaming "Net Net'. It was so cute. Guess she missed me. We had great snacks while watching the Eagles finally win a game. we then order Cheese steaks and pizza for dinner and watched the Red Zone. We then came home, put the trash out, and are watching the late football game. We are both still a little tired from vacation, but getting back to normal.

A day of rest...well sorta
Beth got up around 8:30am. She had a funeral to go to at 9:30am. I slept until 9am and then sorted laundry. There was alot to do and I wanted to get a jump on it. I took a shower and then headed to the grocery store as we were out of everything. I got enough to last a couple days as the store was packed with people. Beth came home around 2pm. She was going to check the grass to see how wet it was, but never made it that far. We were both tired today and did as little as possible. She did get all the dog poop picked up while I made steak for dinner. The rest of the evening was spent watch football and putting clothes away.

Home...
We had to get up at 6am this morning and we off the boat by 8am. We made it to the airport and then began the waiting game. Our flight left at 1pm and mom's left at 2pm. We boarded our plane and were on our way. The flight was good except for the last 15 minutes and it was bumpy as hell. There were rain clouds in Philly and we went right through them. It was on 64 degrees and rainy, but was not rainy until after we got the suitcases loaded and were on our way home. It was rush hour time but we made good time. We stopped at KFC and got dinner, then headed home. It was nice to be home and Buster was there to greet us. So vacation is over and we look forward to our Disney Trip in 4 weeks.

Day 15 - Half Moon Cay
We got up around 6:45am and were dressed and ready for breakfast by 7:30am. After breakfast, we went back to the room, picked up our stuff, and headed for the tender. We had to wait about 10 minutes for a tender to pick us up, but it was not bad. We got to the island and checked in and a truck took us to our cabana. It was really nice. I was not sure mom would make it, as she was ready to pack and get home, but she was ready for the adventure. We had air condition, a fan, lounge chairs and fresh fruit. Mom was really surprised and love the set up. Beth and I went swimming and snorkeled a bit. We then took a walk to the little bit of shopping there was and when we got back it was time for lunch. We got hamburgers and took them back to our cozy spot. We were able to get mom in the water up to her knees, well sorta. She thought a fish swam across her foot that she almost fell, but Beth was able to catch her. I had the hiccups and had been trying to get rid of them and that was a sure fire for them to go away. Mom had a great time and stayed until 2pm. we all came back and took showers and Beth and I went to a rum lecture with samples. They had a great dinner tonight with a show put on by the dinning staff. It was great and mom got lobster soup and was in heaven. We then got our disembarkation information and mom's luggage tags were not there. We went downstairs to get it straighten out and got them printed. Mom is completely packed and we are about 90%. So it has been a great time and I will miss my mom. Thanks for going with us, Mom.

Day 14 - Another day at sea...
We all slept in this morning as it was another day at sea. We went to breakfast around 9am. After breakfast, we went to a meeting on the disembarkation process tomorrow and a go bye show by the crew. After that, Beth and I went up to the library and read and mom went to deck 9 to chat with her friends. There were no activities were interested in doing so after lunch, we came back to the room and read on our deck. Mom came over and visited for a while and then we went to dinner around 5:30om. Mom was in heaven as everything she had for dinner had seafood in it. I left before dessert and wen to the movies again. They were playing Super 8 tonight. The movie was over around 8:45pm and I found Beth in the Casio. I back to the room and called mom to let her know I was back. She was watching Little House on the Prairie. The channel selection on the cruise is really bad. We are at Holland American Private Island tomorrow and will dock in Florida at 7am Friday. We have had a great time seeing new part of the country, but look forward to getting home. We did take advantage of the special they how on booking your next cruise.

Day 14- At Sea...
I slept in late this morning and did not go to breakfast with Beth and mom. I think all the excursions and shopping had gotten to me and I just wanted to sleep. And besides, breakfast is not that important to me. So I slept until 9am and then took a shower and made it to the Lido deck by 9:45am and had fruit and a muffin. My throat was feeling a little better, so no worries. After my breakfast, Beth and I went to the Crow Nest and read for about 2 hours. It was nice and relaxing. We then found mom and she was still full from lunch, so we had burgers without her. We then came back tot he room and I backed the dirty clothes that were falling out of the closet. It will make packing on Thursday night go faster. Mom came by around 4pm and we sat on the deck and talked awhile. We did see a few more dolphins, but we not able to get pictures of them. We then ate dinner upstairs as tonight was the last formal night. After dinner, I went to the movies and Beth went to the casino. Mom says she is not going back any more as they just take her money. Well DUHHHHHH. So she is not up on 9 trying to stay awake for the dessert extravaganza. She is ready to come home as being at sea is too long for her.

Day 13 - Cartagena, Colombia.
We were able to sleep in this morning and went to breakfast in the dining room around 8:30am. We docked around 11am and boy was it hot and humid. Beth and I walked down to the terminal and did a little shopping. Mom stayed on board and got a sun burn. There were 2 other ship in port the same time as us. We had an excursion at 1:30pm on a Spanish Galleon. It took us out into the bay and cruise down the coast line. We saw the old fort city and the walled city. It was nice to see them and not have to walk around as sweat was dripping off of us. We were in the bay for about 2 hours and had a great time. We came back on board and called mom to let her know we were back. We went to dinner in the dining room and help celebrate the Canadian Thanksgiving. They had turkey, dressing, potatoes, and pumpkin pie. After we set sail, I had to go down to the ship shop and get some Vick 44 custom care. I have developed a cough from what It are just allergies, but the cough medicine cost $18. For that price it better clear it up. We are at sea the next 2 day and will spend the time packing what we can. We will stop at Holland American private island on Thursday and them be home on Friday.

Day 12 - Panama Canal
Oh my god, we got up at 5:30am this morning. We were out the door and out on the bow of the ship by 6am. Ken, you would have been proud of mom, she was up and with no coffee, following right behind us. The had Panama Rolls, juice, and coffee for breakfast. I will tell you the rolls are to die for. I am getting the recipe and hope to make them and home. We were about a hour behind schedule, but finally made our way into the canal around 7am. The process of getting in and out of the locks is a thing to behold. It was so hot outside, but was well worth seeing how they raise a ship 27 feet to each lock. We finally had lunch around 11:30am and were starving. After lunch we came back to the room, and continued watching the movement in the canal. Beth and I went to a Party Planner demonstration on how to make easy cheese fondue and of course got the recipe. We finally made out way our of the canal around 5pm. It was well worth the long day. Mom went to the casino and Beth and I went to dinner. Mom had a big lunch and had fruit for dinner. I think she is winning enough to keep her playing but finally losing it in the end, but is having a good time. I went to see the movie X-men: first class in the screening room at 7pm. It was nice to see a current movie with out having to pay for it. Tomorrow we stop in Colombia, so we will have been in all the Americas this last 2 weeks.

Day 11- Crusing Golfo Dulce
We ordered room service for breakfast this morning. We were cruising the bay at Golfo Dulce. It is a biological delight. The are several flower, birds, trees, and other items that are still be discovered on this little patch of land. It is heavily protected and you special permission to even step foot on the land. It was really cool to see, but we could not see a whole lot from the bay. We sailed past it and then were on course for the canal. It turned cloudy and rained hard most of the day. So the ship was a little rocky and made good sleeping weather. I was glad to see college football was on ESPN 2 most of the afternoon. Mom and Beth took naps and I only took a little one. We had dinner and mom spent the afternoon in the casino. We will be up early as we will enter the canal around 6am. It will be a long day, but we will see alot of the canal.

Day 10 - Puerto Caldera
We woke at 6:30am this morning, had breakfast, and were on our way to the coffee plantation at 9am. It was a 2 hour bus ride there, but our guide was great and we saw alot of great country side. We saw flowering sugar cane, coconut trees, and lots of coffee plants. We started the tour and right off the bat, mom was chosen to be the guide best friend. She had to demonstrate hoe they pick coffee beans and went everywhere with the guide. Jose, the guide, was great and we learned alot. We got samples of the cherry coffee beans, some washed and shelled coffee beans, and samples of the different types of coffee. It was a great time and we learned alot. We then stopped at a place that made and painted ox carts. It was very interesting and we had free samples of local fruit. We then made out way back to the ship after being gone 5 1/2 hours, but it was well worth it. It was very hot and cloudy today and we will see lighting again tonight. Ken, mom wants to know if you have used your E-reader yet and if you like it? Dawn, her god parents were at sea in costa rica...Sorry. We are down to our last week of the cruise. The time has gone by so fast, but we will be glad to get back home and see our friends.

Day 9 - At Sea
It was nice to sleep until 8am this morning. Beth and I went to the dining room and had a sit down breakfast. I then went to the Culinary Arts center as they were making and ANZAC Biscuit. I was very good and of course cot a recipe card for it. I will be making some of these at home for sure. We then went to a meeting of the excursions to take on the remaining 3 ports. We tried to change one of ours to a different one, but will see if they will allow the change. We then caught up with mom and had lunch. Mom is really missing Ken today as they have never been apart this long. So Ken, mom say Hi and she misses you. Sea is kinda calm today, so I will spend the rest of the day looking for flying fish and dolphins. We are hoping to have a slide show of all the things we have seen on our trip when we get home and make some of the things they had on the ship. Hope to see some of you there. Dawn, glad to hear about Rylee's appointment and thanks for updating the blog. Miss you guys and will see you real soon.

Day 8 - Puerto Quetzal
We were up and on the bus at 8:30am this morning. We were surprised to see that the port was a regular old work port with container ships and cargo ships. Not a tourist port at all. We headed to Antigua which was about 90 minutes away. We saw lots of sugar cane fields along the way. We were headed to a altitude of around 5000 feet. We saw 3 active volcanoes and a road that had been wiped out by the mud slides and heavy rains. Higher in the mountains we saw coffee plantations and the Jade museum. We saw several old Churches and the Central market places. We did not have enough time in the jade museum to really look around but I did find a Mayan death mask I wanted made out of jade. The only problem was they wanted $850 for it and that was a little out of my price range, but it was really cool looking. We made it back to the ship and set sail again around 5pm. Over the last 4 days several people have left the ship by ambulance. Now of them were serious, but it is a strange site to see. We are at sea all day tomorrow and look forward to a day of rest.

Day 7 - Puerto Chipas
We boarded a bus this morning for the Tuxtlan. We were greated by a mexian band on stage. After playing a couple of songs, they had a chocolate demonstration. They showed us a coco bean pod and we got to taste raw coco which was kinda sweet. Then they toasted some coco beans and showed how they ground them. We were able to use the tools to grind the beans. It was alot of fun. I purchased 2 bags of the coco power, one mixed with almonds and one with peanuts. Not sure what to do with them when we get them home, but also can eat small amounts. Next we went to a local church. It was kinda nice, except they were having a funeral and it was kinda weird. We then walked through they local market and saw all the fruits, fish, chicken, and other items for sale. it was very interesting. We boarded the bus and headed for a Izapa ruins. It was very interesting to hear the history of the ruins and see the items thy have discovered. We then headed back to the ship. We had lunch and Beth and I took a nap. Mom is making alot of friends and spent her time on the back of the ship visiting. They had a Bar-B-Que dinner on the back of the boat tonight. They had fish, steak, ribs, and chicken with all the fixin. It was really good and they even had a Mexican band. We are not able to post pictures at this time. The connect is too slow, so we will keep trying or will them when we get back. Thanks for reading our daily adventures.

Day 6 - Huatulco
We got up around 6:30am and had breakfast at 7:30am. we then came back to the room and put sun tan lotion on before headed out. We were doing the 5 Bay by Catamaran and it was a great excursion. We were able to set in the front of the catamaran and get all the sights. We sailed into 5 of the the 9 bays they have there. They were all beautiful and each had sandy beaches. We then dropped anchor in the last bay and were able to swim around for about an hour. The water was about 86 degrees and felt nice. I was hoping mom would get in the water, but she did not want to. I was glad she enjoyed the ride in the ocean and did not get sick. We cruised back to the dock and looked in a couple of the shops along the way. We were all really tired and hot and it was about 96 degrees and very sunny. We came back on the ship and had lunch. after lunch, Beth and I went swimming and the water felt nice and cool. We all then back to our cabins and took much needed naps. We left port on time and are now back at sea. It is very windy tonight and will be until we get around the mountains tomorrow. Dinner was great. Mom had the cod, Beth had pot roast, and I had turkey. We are not watching the football game and will be off to bed soon.

Day at sea...

Beth got up at 7am and went to church at 8am. I called to make sure mom was up and she was, so I took a shower. Beth came back and we all went to breakfast. Mom and I went to the ship's galley tour. Mom got to see how small that area was for the amount of food they have to produce. Beth and I went down to the shore excursion desk and signed up for a couple of excursion at place we had left idle. Mom went to smoke on the back deck and Beth and I came to the room. We heard on the loud speaker that a stretcher was needed on deck nine in the back of the ship. Well that was mom was, so I went to make sure she was OK and she was. She was smoking and talking to her buddies she had made during the trip. So Beth went the captain's lunch and mom and I had lunch on the back deck. It was Mongolian Bar-B-Que. It was really good and glad I went to it instead of the captain's lunch. After lunch, mom went to the casino and we came back to the room. We were able to watch the Cowboy's game and glad they lost. We did find the Diamondback's game and went to tell mom it was on TV. it was just too bad they lost. We are now watching the Ravens / Jets game. Mom is doing well and making lots of friends. She is having a good time, but wishes they had more seafood to eat. Today's picture is of the dolphin we saw yesterday.

We fist started out in town. We shopped at a couple of stores and I found a Mayan mask and a t-shirt for Rylee. Mom got some more earrings and a t-shirt. We loaded up on the bus and headed for the Church of Nuestra Senora de Guadalupe. They were doing a service, but we able to go inside and take pictures as see above. We then headed out to the country and saw another church Scared Heart of Jesus. It is under construction, but was really cool. Pictures are above. We then headed to the Tequila distillery. We took the tour and then got to sample the 6 different types of tequila. As you know I am not a drinker, but did do the samples and like the the almond one and got a bottle of it. I will never drink it, but I will have it. We stopped an got a couple of tacos to eat and they were really good. We headed back to the boat and we dragging again. It was another hot day and the humidity was 100 percent. We had dinner and came back to the room just in time to see bunch of dolphins got by. I was able to get one good picture.
