We were up early this morning. I wanted to start making a few things for our Easter dinner early. It had rained a little last night, so I decided not to work outside today. I was glad I did. It was 88 and very sunny today. Beth had a hair appointment at 11:30am and stopped to get lunch on her way home. Kim was coming by around 1pm. Jojo was missing Aunt Beth and wanted some time with her. They were here about 30 minutes and the electricity went off. We called and they said that it should be back on by 4pm. Well that did not go well for the plans I had in having dinner around 4pm. Kim and Jojo finally left around 3pm and the lights came back on at 3:15pm. I hated turning the oven on when it was so hot out, but we wanted ham and scalloped potatoes. So on it went and everything went in the oven. We finally ate around 5:30pm and things were great. We will have left overs for days. After dinner, we went down stairs to turn off the water to the guest bathroom sinks and toilet. What we found was that the shutoff valves do not work. So now we will have to call a plumber out to put shut offs values on the bathroom sinks and remove the old ones. If only I could solder copper pipes. But we knew things would not go well and are glad we started doing things early. Hopefully we can get someone out in the next few days. This kinda put things at a stand still.
