Pool Open...

Beth was up at 8am this morning and I got up at 9am. Beth had a dentist appointment at 9:40 and I went to Lowe's to get potting dirt. My goal today was to plant the tomato plants. Beth was back home around 11am. Gayle came by to use our garage. She needed a dry place to change some wheel bearing on her truck. The pool fairies came by around 11:15am. The cut the poles out where the diving broad way, pulled of the winter tarp on the pool, and hooked up the heater. The pool was a nice shade of mucky green. We were a little late in opening the pool this year, so we will see how long it takes to clear up. I got 10 tomato plants planted and still have about 6 more to go. I was able to get the other plants planted in the front bed. So tomorrow, we will go and get the plants for the pots and will be done planting, MAYBE. Beth started cutting the front yard. The rain clouds were moving in and she was hoping to get it done before it rained again. She was just about to clean the mover when the first drops started. By the time she put the mower away, rain was coming down hard. Good timing. we had leftover chicken from Stroud's tonight and it was good. We are done to our last few remains of KC food and will be sad when it is gone.
