What a difference 24 hours makes...

It was a rough night. The wind and rain were really strong when we went to bed at 1:30am. We turned the air on in the bedroom and slept until 9am. The storm had passed and all that was left was some drizzle and winds. We called around to our friend to make sure everyone made it through the storm and they did. We then had to decide if we were having the draft or if we needed to postpone it. With some people not having power and not getting much sleep, we decided to post pone the draft. We took shower and headed out. We stopped at a new burger place and had lunch. The food was really good and we will go back again. We then went to the grocery store to get a roast. We made roast with potatoes and carrots for dinner. We invited Kim, Dawn, and Jo for dinner since they had no power. So we came home and dinner in the oven. I went to my scrapbook room and worked on trying to get the printer to work. After several tries, I was able to get pictures to print. Beth talked to Dawn and they had power. They were going to stay home and enjoy the rest of the day. Kim and Jojo came over around 4pm and they were still without power. The sun was beginning to shine and the rain was gone. The winds had calmed and they day was great. It is amazing how things cane change in 24 hours. It should be sunny and in the low 80's all week. We are going to work on getting the outside ready for winter and get things put away.
