Rain

Jeanette got her wish, it finally rained today and she didn't have to water the grass seed. I finished cutting the grass last night, so with the rain I should have to cut it again on Tuesday. We really did nothing exciting today, we went to the mall so Jeanette could look for new sneakers and she found a pair of New Balance that she liked. I had to get her a birthday card so that I could pack it for Alaska, I'm counting the trip as her birthday present. (She is having a hard time arguing with me on that one!) While Jeanette was downstairs scrape booking today, I tackled my unopened mail that I have been ignoring for about 2 weeks. It took me the better part of the day but it is all done, checks written and bills filed. I really hate going through the mail, I don't know why but I just do. I mentioned that we really did nothing exciting today didn't I? Today's picture is of my 1935 Plymouth. I had it restored/updated, the exterior is pretty much what it would have look like originally except for the color, tires and wheels. The interior now has front power bucket seats, AC, CD/radio and a sun roof, but the upholstery is tuck and rolled wool on the door panels and leather on the seats similiar in style to what would have been stock. The wool & leather are grey which complements the maroon exterior quite nicely.
