Beth got up and went to church and I slept in til 8am. Today was the Eagles home opener. The big question was whether to wear the boot or not. I did not wear it all day yesterday, but was not on my foot much. After talking to Beth and waying the options, I decided not to wear it. Wendy and Barb came over about 10:30am as they were going to the game with us. We had a hard time finding a place to park. The tailgaters were taking 2 sometime 3 spaces. We finally found a spot in the back. We walked very slowly to the entrance. The foot was doing well for only being out of the boot a day. The game ended up being a blow out. We did not expect to win with our starting QB out, but hoped it would be a closer game then it was. The walk back to the car seemed to take forever. My foot was really sore by the time we got to the car. Beth even had me wait and went the rest of the way to get the car. We spent the rest of the evening watching the 4pm game. I put ice on my foot as soon as we came home and it is feeling better. It will just take time I think. Today's picture is of a hot air balloon that flew over on Saturday. we get few of them in the spring and fall.
