Beth was up at 6am this morning as the car had an appointment at 7:30am and I slept until 7:30am. I did not have to water this morning due to all the rain we got yesterday afternoon. So I took a shower and headed to Lowe's and the bank. Beth had to stop by Dawn and Jo's house to get the blow up mattress and to also get her Rylee time. Shelly texted that they were on the road again. I had some laundry to do and some last minute house cleaning. Beth came home and started on the backyard mowing. We had lunch and played on the computer a little while to cool down some. Around 2pm she started on the front. The grass had not really grown much since it had been awhile since we had any rain. But it needed it since we would be gone for a week. She finished up around 4:30pm and took a shower. Shelly had called and they were about a hour and a half away. The made it here around 5:45pm and were glad to be off the road. We ordered pizza and afterwards the kids went swimming for awhile. We went from a house of 2 and a dog to a house of 7 and 2 dogs, although Mindy Sue is not bigger than a loaf of bread. I told Shelly to watch the hawks during the day as she might become lunch.
