Key West...
We got up around 7am this morning. We took showers and had breakfast in the buffet. We then went to a Disney Vacation club meeting. We received hats and a really cool portfolio. They had some drawings and I got a passport keeper and Beth got some plastic travel bottles. Beth even won a print of the new Hawaii villa. We left there and came back to the room for awhile. We went and had a quick lunch in the Parrot Cay and then came back to the room to get ready for our excursion. We docked at Key West around 11:30am and we were given the OK to go ashore by noon. We boarded a trolley bus and headed to the catamaran for our excursion. We sailed about 10 miles off the coast to our destination. We took our own snorkel mask and snorkel and used their BC and fins. It took us about 10 minutes to get into the water as there were alot of kids getting int he water and just taking put. It caused a big log jam at the base of the steps, but we managed to get out of the traffic. We saw all kinds of fish and coral and had a great time. The 1 hour time frame went by so fast and it was time to get back on the boat. We were back at the dock by 4pm and we went shopping for about an hour. we then headed back to the boat tired, but excited about our day. I loaded some pictures onto facebook as it was faster to do so in port. We still need to look at today pictures and will post them for the rest of the trip when we get back to Disney world. We went and had a quick bite to eat and then saw a show with Alfred and Seymour which left us laughing so hard we had tears in our eyes. After that it was off to Walt Disney theater to see Villains Tonight staring Disney's villains. We then headed back to the room and ordered room service of 2 BLT sandwiches and are now ready for bed. We will be all day at sea tomorrow and look forward to sleeping late. I did forget to include one very important piece of information in last night blog. When we boarded yesterday, Beth had flowers delivered to the room for my early birthday and had a fruit and cheese tray delivered to say Thank You for all the support the last 10 weeks. It was such a surprise and very much appreciated.
