On Board...
We got up around 7am and finished packing our stuff. I took a shower and Beth was taking her when the guy came to get the luggage. We went and had breakfast and then went down to the lobby around 11am. The bus picked up at 11;30am, so we headed to the cruise terminal. It took around 1hour and 15 minutes. We filled out the health questionnaire and then went to get checked in. We got our cruise key card and then got in line to see Minnie Mouse. We were the last one to get in line and it was great. We could not get into our room yet, so we went and had lunch. The food was great and I had mini corn dogs, potatoes, and salad. We skipped on dessert, as we were having dinner at 5:45pm. After lunch, we headed to our room. We were able to unpack the carry on, as our packs had not been delivered yet. We did some sight seeing on the ship and had a drink. We came back to the room and our luggage was here, so we unpacked 3 of the bags. The life boat drill was a 4pm and Beth wanted to take the elevator up, before they shut them down. After the drill, we went to the 4th floor mid-ship as they were having an Adventure Away party as we set sail. Mickey and the gang were there and it was great. We came back to the room and got changed for dinner. We had our first dinner in the Animator's Palate. Disney is a little different as they have 3 separate dining rooms and you rotate between them based on your schedule. The dining room is all black and white, but as you progress through dinner the room starts to take on color and then they have a show with Mickey Mouse after dinner. It was really cool. After dinner, we went to the Walt Disney Theater to see the opening night show and it was good. We can't wait to see more shows in the week. it has been a very exciting day and we are both really tired and ready for bed. We are at Key West tomorrow and will snorkel in the afternoon. I will add photos tomorrow as uploading at sea takes too long. So please check back for photos and will update facebook also.
